DannyMay 2021. Day Two
"Home"
Danni silently floated to her cousin's window in the starry night. She didn't even get to knock to announce herself, as Danny was already there. Right, sleep deprivation and ghost sense.
"Heya, cuz', mind if I come in?" She asked with a grin.
"I didn't know you were in the area. 'Thought you wanted to go to Australia?" He asked as he sat back on his desk with his clone transforming back into a human.
"Did want, but then I remembered Mardi Gras was coming so I stayed in the country for a while –by the way, don't go to Louisiana without ecto-weapons, long story–, the festival was great, but I kinda need a good night of sleep without one eye open, yknow?"
Dannys mouth was gaping by the time she finished her story, but then he closed it and shook his head.
"Yeah, sure, you're always welcome here, and I'm not sleeping tonight anyway, so knock yourself out."
"Cool." Danni said, lying down over the covers.
"D'ya want a snack or something?" Danny said, getting up, but when he turned to see his clone, she was already asleep.
Danny sighed and rolled his eyes fondly, approaching his sleeping relative to take off her shoes and better settle her on his bed.
"Its gonna be a hell of a story, I'm sure." He mumbled, ruffling the little girl's hair and settling back on his desk to work on his homework.
I'll be posting a few of these at once. I hate not having internet at home and having to work from 9 to 5 :''(
