Chapter 2: The War of Light and Darkness

Author's notes: Hey, everybody. It's chapter 2 time. Hooray! Sorry, it took a while to post chapter 2. I'll try and post more chapters as fast as I can with me being busy with school and my personal life. I promise but don't hold me up to that. Anyways let's get started with chapter 2.

Demons were invading Skyworld or Angel Land. Noone has decided whether to call it Angel Land or Skyworld. Siegfried and Eva were gearing up for battle. Siegfried grabbed his Club that looked like both a Club and a giant sword and Eva grabbed her blade. Both were ready to jump into battle. But before they could Pit walked up to them.

"Can I help?" said Pit to his parents. Eva looked at Seigfried and then turned to him.

"No," said Eva to Pit

"Oh, come on. Why?" said Pit to his parents.

"Because you can't fly," said Eva to Pit.

"So because I can't fly. I can't help fight demons," said Pit to Eva.

"Yes," said Eva to Pit.

"Oh, come on. I can handle myself out there. Plus I took care of Calia growing up and she's like a grown woman." said Pit to Eva.

"By the way, where is Calia? Shouldn't she be with you right now?" said Seigfried quite curiously

"Right here! He ran off and I didn't know where he went. I tried to find him but I didn't know where I was going." said Calia. She was wearing a typical Northgand white priestess outfit and a necklace with the symbol of Palutena's army.

"Ok, good. Now stay here with Calia until we get back," said Eva to Pit

"But I'm ready to fight now. I'm not some helpless little kid despite what some of the people playing this might think," said Pit to Eva

"It's true. I've been training with him and he's been improving on his combat capabilities," said Seigfreid to Eva.

"Calia, what do you think?" asked Eva

"Well, if he thinks he's ready then I think so too," said Calia. Eva looked at Pit who had a look of determination in his eyes.

"Fine, but only because your father and Calia are ok with it," said Eva to Pit. Siegfried handed the First Blade to Pit. Then, Siegfried and Eva rushed into battle but before Pit could Calia stopped him.

"Pit, before you go I want you to promise that…" said Calia before cutting to Pit going through a door onto the battlefield. Eva and Seigfried were taking down hordes of demons like it was nothing. Meanwhile, Pit was struggling a bit. "What? Why am I struggling? I should be good at this." Pit thought to himself with his hands on the ground and a confused look on his face wondering what was going wrong. Siegfried flow off to confront Medusa in the underworld. Eva decided to help Pit.

Meanwhile with Seigfried:

He opened a portal to the Underworld with his magic and there he went to the underworld fortress. There he encountered a horde of demons which he took down with ease. Then, he entered a room that had the underworld's armies top commanders Twinbellos, Hewdraw, Pandora, and Thanatos as well as the goddess of darkness herself Medusa.

"Seigfried, what a surprise. How has it been?" said a sarcastic Medusa to an aggravated Seigfried. Both his hands on the handle of his club ready to attack.

"Your reign of darkness ends her Medusa. I am the white void. I am the cold steel. I am the just sword. With my sword club in hand, I shall reap the sins of this world and cleanse it in the light of order and justice! I am the legendary light knight Seigfried and your end has come." said a pumped-up Seigfried to a somewhat amused Medusa. Seigfried jumped and was about to attack but Medusa fired at him and turned him to stone. Then, he fell and shattered. "Oh, what a shame. The legendary light knight Seigfreid has shattered," said Medusa sarcastically. "Come on time to go take over Skyworld or Angel Land or whatever it's called. I still can't believe a name hasn't been chosen yet," said Medusa as she and the underworld army went to Skyworld or Angel Land or whatever the heck it's called.

Meanwhile in Skyworld or Angel Land or whatever the heck it's called:

Pit and Eva were fighting demons together. Then, Medusa launched a sneak attack.

"Pit, stay here. I'll take on Medusa myself," said Eva. She flow towards Medusa to attack her but then she fired at her and turned her to stone. Then she fell and shattered into pieces. "Oh no, She shattered. What a shame," said Medusa sarcastically. Pit was completely speechless and was shocked at what had transpired before him. Then, he stood up and said, "Listen here Medusa. Your days of darkness are numbered. I am Pit and you are history." Then, he flapped his wings trying to fly.

"How cute. You think you can beat me," said Medusa. Then, she grabbed Pit. "Listen here, kid. You can't even fly, what makes you think you have a chance against me? You're weak and pathetic and better off grounded." Then, she throws him into the underworld as Pit screamed. The last things he saw were his home being filled with fire and destruction and Caila being killed right in front of him.

Author's notes: hey, hope you enjoyed chapter 2. Sorry about the sad ending to chapter 2. Anyways yeah, the reason I planned on making a prequel to this fanfiction is because Siegfried, Eva, and Calia as well die in this chapter if that is why you thought I planned on making a prequel. Anyways Calia is based on Celica A. Mercury from Blazblue. I mean Celica is best girl so of course, I am going to put a character based on her in my fanfiction. Now before you say "but RandomFanboi123 why not make a based on Rachel Alucard because she is also best girl." Well, that's because Viridi is pretty much just Rachel Alucard mixed with Poison Ivy but an annoying brat. So it's pretty much pointless, to be honest. Plus as much as I like Rachel, I can't really be bothered to make a character based on Rachel right now. Maybe I'll make one in a future fanfiction. Now time for some trivia. Palutena is based on Athena the goddess of wisdom. It isn't wise to send a "teenager" to fight demons and god-like beings. That's just me though. I like calling Palutena "Nintendo's Trish/Saori Kido." Mainly because I think it describes her so well. Even though Palutena predates Trish by 15 years and Saori Kido predates Palutena by a few months. Pit is based on Icarus and Eros. It comes to no surprise that Pit is based on Icarus but it is quite surprising that Pit is based on Eros. It's because there aren't any proper angels in greek mythology and Eros is normally depicted with wings and a bow and arrows. I like calling Pit "Nintendo's Dante/Saint Seiya." Mainly because I think it describes him so well. However, Pit predates Dante by 15 years and Saint Seiya Predates Pit by a few months. In Greek mythology, Eros married a beautiful mortal princess who later becomes immortal and with whom he has a daughter. So if you ship Pit with Peach, Zelda, Lucina, or Female Corrin… have fun with that piece of information. Anyways make sure to leave a review and maybe share this with someone you know.
