AN: Shaedy Heo before you comment about the spacing between status sets please note I did put spaces there they just don't show in the actual chapter but do in my documents

Previously

I had my hand on my knees bent over panting for breath after finally killing all the skeletons and finally got the rewards which I've determined came at the end of combat.

[15 Skeletons defeated: 150 Exp (300 with racial bonus), 15,000 yen, 15 rusty iron swords, 15 rotten oak shields]

[You have Leveled Up X2. You now have 20 SP]

I opened my stats to look so I could distribute points.

Magical Power: 10/1,000

Luck: 10/1,000

SP: 0

I turned around at the sound of more bones rattling and the corner of my mouth raised as I said in what would normally be called a deadpan "well who's next?" as I charged the oncoming horde of 24 skeletons.

Now

Good News and Bad News for me the skeletons are still easy but apparently level up with me.

So yeah now they're as strong and durable as me, still faster, and also magically more powerful even somehow luckier than me but they still only give 10 Exp (not counting my Racial Bonus). What's worse in my opinion is that I only realized this after killing 7 of them.

'The longer I put off leveling up the better since they won't level up either so as long as I'm careful I can continuously draw in more skeletons to keep myself in combat and delay my leveling' I thought as I killed the head off another skeleton before spinning to punch the one coming up behind me.

After a half an hour and about 19 more skeletons showing up while trying not to get hit as while not that painful they do lower my HP I finally killed the last Skeleton in the area.

[43 skeletons defeated: 430 Exp (860 with Racial Bonus) 43,000 Yen, 43 rusty iron swords, 43 rotten oak shields]

[You have Leveled Up X2. You now have 20 SP]

[Due to dedicated efforts your Strength has increased by 4, Endurance by 2, and Agility by 7]

[Unarmed Combat Mastery Leveled Up]

'Oh that actually makes sense since even with gaining twice the stat points when I level up I wouldn't have enough to max out my stats before my level maxed out' I thought as I distributed my new points.

I decided that was enough for today before heading into an alley and activating Gamer's Dungeon causing the world to go back to normal.

—————————————————————————————————————

'They're back' Ophis thought as they sensed their sibling's presence reappear 'maybe they could give me my silence back?' They thought as they speculated on where they disappeared to but had managed to narrow down the location a bit to the place called 'Japan' they sent a message to Kuroka on this before returning to their plotting.

I managed to find a small and cheap motel on the edge of town so I could rest. As I laid on the bed in ironically white underwear I decided to ask something I've been curious about "hey system what's with the level and stats cap?"

"That would be due to your race being human and thus thus are the limit of what a human can achieve"

"Is there a way to break through that limit?" I asked.

"Yes the most common is a race change with becoming a god a close second and allegedly it is possible to force your way through the limits though I am not aware if it is actually possible"

"You don't know?" I was curious as to how that works.

"If it is possible it is part of my subconscious which is fully automated and unknowable to me"

"Ah that would make sense I guess" I say as I roll over and go to sleep but not before saying "night System."

Kuroka was frustrated, first Vali had ignored her seduction (again!) and then she was told by Ophis to go find her 'sibling' which she didn't even know Ophis had and before she could ask about she had left so she was just traveling and trying to sense something similar to Ophis' energy. Thankfully Ophis had informed her that they were somewhere in Japan which was good and bad, good because Shirone was there and bad because the Youkai faction was there.

'"Luckily I've narrowed it down to the southern half, nya" she said as she teleported away from the clearing she was in.

After waking up and taking a shower I sat on the bed and decided to check out the Shop feature.

[Buy or Sell]

[Credits: 0]

"So Credits are used for the Shop huh? Well I have a bunch of Useless swords and shields so I guess I'll sell them" I muttered.

[Sell: 58 Rusty Iron Swords & 58 Rusty Iron Swords for 348 Credits?]

'Yes' I ordered.

[Buy or Sell]

[Credits: 348]

Now to see about potentially buying something useful.

So apparently all the good stuff is really expensive.

[Perk: God Hand: 1,000,000 Credits]

[Item: Excalibur: 10,000,000 Credits]

Yeah and those weren't even the most expensive.

[Skill: Gate of Babylon: 9,999,999,999 Credits]

[Item: Ea: 100,000,000,000 Credits]

But there were some that caught my attention immediately.

[Level Up: 1,000 Credits (doubles with each purchase)]

[1 SP: 10 Credits]

But what I decided on cost almost all my Credits but would be really strong once leveled up.

[Skill: Psionics: 300 Credits (3,000 if maxed out)]

[Psionics (Passive/1): unlocks your psychic potential. -0.5% cost and 1% effectiveness of all Psionic Skills per Skill Level]

Afterwards I decided to try it out and created an empty dungeon so as not to draw attention. After checking to make sure it worked, I decided to start testing, since 2 of the obvious uses require other creatures. I can't test Telepathy and Empathy so I guess I'll work on projecting it as attacks and defenses.

I focused and tried to project it out from my hand and form into a blade causing a void shaped like a blade to form out of the back of my wrists.

[Psi-Blade (Active/1): project 1.5 feet long blades from your wrists dealing Magical Power 5 Psionic Damage per Skill Level. Cost 1 MP per second to maintain and 10 MP per attack/defense that connects with its target.]

I canceled the blades and then focused on it forming a transparent barrier around me causing the air to momentarily ripple.

[Psi-Barrier (Active/1): form a protective barrier of Psionic energy around your body blocking damage to yourself. Cost 1 MP per second to maintain and MP equal to the incoming damage to block an attack.]

"Ok not the best but as my Magical Power increases so will the effectiveness of the barrier" I said as I moved on to launching it as an attack causing a bolt to propel from my hand and hit the wall.

[Psi-Bolt (Active/1): launch a bolt of Psionic energy dealing Mag 5 Psionic damage per Skill Level. 50 feet range per Skill Level. Cost 20 MP per use.]

And finally a beam attack for sustained fire causing a continuous beam of blackness to destroy the wall.

[Psi-Beam (Active/1): project a beam of Psionic energy dealing Mag 10 Psionic damage per Skill Level per second. 20 feet range per Skill Level. Cost 10 MP per second.]

I canceled the beam and sat for a while trying to think of anything else before deciding that these would do for now. Especially since I didn't have a lot of MP or fast MPR at the moment, heck even just keeping Psi-Blades active would cost me half of my MPR and I'd only be able to use 20 attacks/blocks and have to wait 10 seconds just to recharge enough for 1 use.

After being back in the real world I decided to go for a walk and get some breakfast while also trying out Telepathy and Empathy since they'll prove useful in pretty much any situation.

[Telepathy (Active/1): you can read, communicate, and manipulate minds to a degree based on Skill Level. 10 feet range per Skill Level. Cost depends on level of difficulty.]

[Empathy (Active/1): you can read, project, and manipulate emotions to a degree based on Skill Level. 10 feet range per Skill Level. Cost depends on level of difficulty.]

I 'smiled' behind my cup of coffee as I read the notifications before continuing to eat my breakfast in peace and quiet. Said peace and quiet was ruined not 10 minutes later by 3 teenage boys coming in and talking loudly about breasts and butts.

The only thing that made it worse was that when I used Telepathy on them one was upset that I had big breasts, another was happy about my big breasts, and the last was fantasizing about me being naked. 'I'm going to kill all three of them' I thought as I finished my breakfast and coffee before paying and leaving but staying nearby so as to keep an eye on them.
