A/N: Sorry I have been super busy with finals...senior things. I turned up the rating because it took a turn I wasn't expecting it to. Some light swears and sexual implications.

My blood ran cold. I had to have heard her wrong. Alya did not.

"Karaoke? Why karaoke?" Adrien asked the couple.

Damn, I did hear her right. If Adrien heard it, then it was definitely said. But I can't sing in front of Adrien! What if my voice cracks? What if he doesn't like my singing? He is too nice to tell me if I sound like a dying cat. Just when I thought I had a chance to get closer to Adrien.

Nope, I have to get myself together. So I can live through the night and kill Alya. I can do this, nothing bad has happened yet. I am Adrien's good friend.

"I am telling you guys, you have to start listening to me. I'm not always talking about Ladybug."

"Righttt, and Nino doesn't always carry three different notebooks with music notes in them." Adrien quipped back at Alya, crossing his arms over his chest. I giggled behind my hand.

Nino feigned hurt, throwing his hand against his chest. "Ouch bro, didn't have to pull me down with her."

Shoving Nino's shoulder with a laugh, Alya said, "Come on, we still love you despite that. But, like I was saying- there's a brand new karaoke cafe near the Eiffel tower! They have competitions, open mic nights, private rooms- all hooked up with some sweet sound systems and mics."

I furrowed my brow, walking over to the food table, "And what does this new karaoke place have to do with us?"

"We have to practice because we are all going to sing there together dudette!"

Right as Nino finished his sentence, I had been trying to swallow a cookie. Coughing and patting my chest, I fought for air. Alya handed me a water bottle when my fit would not end. Apparently I must be the only one not on board. While Alya was watching me nurse myself back to normal breathing, the boys were setting up Adrien's computer to play music.

With the boys chatting away excitedly in the background, I turn to Alya, a lil scared and ready to yell at her, "Who made you think I was ready to sing in front of other people? Let alone Adrien!? This will be a disaster and here I thought I actually had a chance at getting closer with him tonight." I whisper yelled, flailing my hands in front of me.

"Come on girl," Alya gripped my shoulders, "You sing like an angel. I am pretty sure if anyone is going to make a fool of themselves tonight, it is definitely going to be me. Besides, look at how happy Adrien looks. He wants this just as much as I do, he could use some friend fun." I pouted and glanced over to the love of my life.

Adrien did seem super excited, and genuinely smiling. I cracked a soft smile, this girl is going to be the death of me.

Taking a deep breath, I face towards Alya again. "Fine, but only since it is making Adrien so happy. And I'm not singing first! I have to think of a song where I actually sound good."

Alya fist pumped the air, "Hell yeah girl, you sound good with everything. Now let's goooo, before Nino becomes too attached to the computer."

I grabbed another cookie, sliding it into my purse, before following Alya over to the boys. I felt Tikki press against my thigh in silent support. I can do this, I can do this.

Alya and Nino have already sung multiple songs and it is my turn. I can't think of anymore excuses to put off going. Especially since Alya keeps insisting I go before Adrien. She says it's because he has never had a sleepover before and needs to learn the ropes. Lies. She has to be planning something.

At least I finally have a song to sing, "Alya, would you be so kind as to join me in my debut song?" I dramatically bow and extend my hand to my best friend who is sitting on the arm of the couch. Laughing, she takes my hand and pulls me over to the desktop. The boys are talking, sitting on the bed waiting for the show to begin.

"So are we singing together or is it just me singing back up as a way to make me feel better about my abilities as a singer?" Alya whispered in my ear as I searched for the song on youtube. With both of us leaning over the keyboard, I shoved my hip into hers.

"Oh come on, you and Nino's performance of No Air was moving, I even felt some tears leave my eyes."

"Yeah, from laughter!"

The song began loading. "You know this song right?"

Alya glanced at the screen, "Hell yeah, no better way to step into this new territory! Just like in your room."

"Yes. Fake it till you make it girl." I grabbed the tv remote to use as a makeshift microphone. Alya grabbed her hairbrush, following my lead. As the song began, we turned around to face the boys. (Alya, Marinette, both)

It's time for me to take it

I'm the boss right now

Not gonna fake it

Not when you go down

'Cause this is my game

And you better come to play

I began to take steps forward towards the boys, utter shock written across their faces. I felt Adrien's eyes shift down, watching my hips move as I swayed forward. Then Alya followed.

I used to hold my freak back

Now I'm letting go

I make my own choice

Bitch, I run this show

So leave the lights on

No, you can't make me behave

Alya swayed her hips as she marched purposefully towards Nino. This song radiates the confidence I need. Making a move towards Adrien can totally be blamed on the song. Alya is dating Nino and I can't do anything to him. This is fine, I draw on my inner Ladybug confidence.

So you say I'm complicated

That I must be out my mind

But you've had me underrated

Rated, rated

What's wrong with being

What's wrong with being

What's wrong with being confident?

With every line, we leaned further into their personal space. Alya goes as far as to run her hand up Nino's leg. Before we snap back and sway back to the computer.

It's time to get the chains out

Is your tongue tied up?

'Cause this is my ground

And I'm dangerous

And you can get off

But it's all 'bout me tonight

Alya and I turned towards each other, grinning. With a wink, Alya began to walk indirectly to Nino. I ran my hand down my side as I walked towards Adrien

So you say I'm complicated

That I must be out my mind

But you've had me underrated

Rated, rated

Running my hand down Adrien's shoulder and chest, I try to hold his eye contact. His face is bright red. He breaks eye contact first, looking down at me. I don't think he is the only one blushing now.

What's wrong with being

What's wrong with being

What's wrong with being confident?

As the song ended, Alya and I tried to remain sexy. But the boys' faces were so dumbstruck. We started breaking down laughing, leaning on each other for the support. That snapped Nino back to reality.

"H-Hey! That's not fair!"

"There are no rules about dancing in the karaoke battle," I wiped a tear from my eye.

"You broke Adrien! I need him to get back at you!"

Adrien was bright red and avoiding looking at me. I began to rub my arm, maybe I went too far? He probably will be uncomfortable with me now. Oh no did I ruin things? Ahh I thought I was doing good. Blame the song, yeah i will blame the song if he asks.

They both shifted uncomfortably, looked at each other then got up and walked towards us. Nino grabbed our mics from our hands then shushed us away from the computer. Alya gave me a high five and a good job before sitting on the couch. I grabbed my water and sat on the edge of the bed, awaiting the revenge.

Wait-that sounds desperate. I push my face into hand and let out a deep , I have to stop overthinking everything.

The music started playing, oh boy are we in trouble. (Nino, Adrien, both)

You had me hooked again from the minute you sat down

The way you bite your lip, got my head spinnin' around

After a drink or two I was putty in your hands

I don't know if I have the strength to stand

I could not help my jaw dropping. Adrien had the sexiest voice, I was staring as he walked towards me. His hips swayed just enough to tip me off that he was trying. Must be from practicing the catwalk. His eyes were staring into mine, I can't breathe. How is it fair for someone to look and sound that good?!

Oh, trouble, troublemaker, yeah, that's your middle name

Oh, I know you're no good but you're stuck in my brain

And I wanna know

Adrien was directly in my face now. As he sang into his tv remote, he grabbed my chin and lifted it upwards. Running his fingers down my throat as my breathing became shaky.

Why does it feel so good but hurt so bad? Whoa

My mind keeps saying, "Run as fast as you can"

I say I'm done, but then pull me back, whoa

I swear you're giving me a heart attack

Troublemaker

With a wink, he walked back to join Nino in the open space. With him farther away, it is easier to try to control my racing heart.

It's like you're always there in the corners of my mind

I see a silhouette every time I close my eyes

There must be poison in those finger tips of yours

'Cause I keep comin' back again for more

With that the boys started crawling back to us. Am I in heaven?

Oh, trouble, troublemaker, yeah, that's your middle name

Oh, I know you're no good but you're stuck in my brain

And I wanna know

Adrien walked around me to sit on the bed behind me. His fingers left my skin tingling as they traced down my shoulder and side like I had done to him.

Why does it feel so good but hurt so bad? Whoa

My mind keeps saying, "Run as fast as you can"

I say I'm done, but then pull me back, whoa

I swear you're giving me a heart attack

Nino sang the solo kind-of-rap-part, but I can barely hear him. I turned my head around to face Adrien. His heavy gaze met mine, my face burning hot despite the goosebumps all over me. The trance we are sitting in was broken by the end of the music and laughter.

Jumping up, I ran over to the food table. I need to drink something, it's too hot in here. I do miss Adrien being that close to me, and his warm, intense eyes. I faintly heard the conversation behind me.

"Uh huh, and you thought Adrien was broken. Look at poor Mari." Alya said.

I turned around to face the group, a little calmer. Adrien laughed, rubbing the back of his neck. "Maybe now would be a good time to eat? We jumped right into singing that we never actually ate anything."

"Good idea bro, I'm starving," Nino smirked and turned to Alya. "Especially after that little performance."

My best friend pushed her boyfriend's face away from hers and stood up. "Looks like you only get one meal tonight hunny."

"Aw come on why did you have to ruin the game?!" Nino followed Alya out of the room like a sad puppy.

Adrien turned to me, "Come on, let's go get some food. I don't think we should leave them alone right now."

I giggled and walked with Adrien. This is getting easier.
