Quickly standing up she grinned happily 'ha he actually woke up whose the best doctor ever me bitch' she thought practically skipping towards Rick who was by now sitting up looking at her in slight fear and confusion. " hi I'm Naomi More you're apocalypse doctor nice to finally meet you Ricky" she said stil grinning wide waving enthusiastically at a confused Rick. She grabbed a water bottle on the side table and twisted It open giving it to him "here take slow sips oké" she said handing it to Rick who gratefully took the bottle and drank slowly from the bottle" um thank you but did you just say apocalypse doctor and why are you wearing those clothes you don't really look like a doctor" Rick said confused after taking a couple of sips of the water. Blinking at Rick in shock she looked down at what she was wearing which was black cargo pants with dark blue laced combat boots and a indigo tank top " what's wrong with it it's perfect apocalypse survival materiaal, what does it look ugly or something " she said crossing her arms looking annoyed "n-no no you look nice just you know normal doctors don't where such clothes and umm again what do you mean apocalypse is that a new trent or something" Rick said trying to not anger the dangerous looking woman. Huffing Naomi dropped her arms to her sides and looked at Rick with sadness " you might not have enough strength to walk right now but I have to show you something, you won't believe me otherwise" she said biting her lip anxiously " I um okay" Rick mumbled even more confused slowly turning to face Naomi who gently helped Rick stand up. He grabbed the IV stand to help him walk and took a step forward almost falling to the ground from the weakness he felt" slowly take your time Ricky you haven't move for a while so your body is stil feeling weak" Naomi said quickly grabbing Rick around the waist before he fell. Slowly Naomi guided Rick towards the window "brace yourself what your going to see isn't in anyway pleasant and wil blow your mind in a bad way" she said looking at Rick with a sad grimace. Rick took a deep breath and exhaled slowly wondering how bad the news could be to make the happy looking woman so sad " I'm ready" Rick said with determination, together they faced the window and with her free arm Naomi opens the curtains. Outside was nothing but deserted horror bodies wrapped up piled on the side walk some laid stil bleeding on the streets. Car's and military tanks left abandoned, blood was everywhere and the worst of it was the obvious death bodies some missing arms, some legs but where stil moving. Groaning from the death bodies could be heard softly from there room " w-w-what is this, it's a joke right your playing with me right" Rick whispers in horror at what he was seeing his legs trembling in fear. Naomi looked sadly at what the world became and tightened her hold on ricks waist in case that his legs give out on him from the shock" I'm sorry this isn't a joke it's our world now, it started 2 months ago that's when we first got news from people eating each other then it was the dead coming back alive. A month ago water and electricity stopt working, people turned on each other fast. The cops and military tried to stop it but apparently killing the dead isn't a easy task. The government fell fast and even if a part of it is stil running they can't communicate with people left alive anyway. Basically the short version of this al is the world ended, me and you we are the couple of lucky or actually unlucky bastards in what I assume is a small group of survivors that get to live in this horrible nightmare" Naomi said in a tired tone " w-what about my family Lori, Carl and Shane are they alive" Rick said trembling with tears in his eyes as he looked at the nightmare he woke up in. " I don't know I found this room 1 month ago with a gurney for the door, I saw that you where stil alive and decided to help you" Naomi said looking at Rick with a somber face. Rick was stil looking outside blinking in disbelief, he took a shaky breath in as tears fell from his eyes " t-this is a nightmare" he whispered sadly " no this is our new reality, welcome to the apocalypse Rick" Naomi whispered back
I don't actually know how long Rick was in the hospital for sins everywhere it's something different but il go with two months
