Once Burgess and Ruzek arrived at the address. Adam and Kim decided to wait, in case someone came, or something happened. While waiting, they started talking about how weird Jay has been acting since they found the body, and how his face changed when he read "J.R." He seemed to know something but, when asked about it, he avoided answering.
"Jay has been acting weird." - Adam said with a worried tone to Kim.
"Why you think so?" - Kim responded quickly.
"When we found the body, Jay translated the poster. And when reading J.R. his face changed completely. " - Adam explained.
"I feel like he knows something, but every time I talk to him about it, he completely evades me." - Adam said, you could tell in his tone of voice that Adam was worried about his friend and partner.
"He probably brought back memories of his time in Afghanistan, for Jay it shouldn't be good to bring all those memories back." - Kim explained to Adam, trying to calm him down.
Minutes later they observed how a black truck parked near the house. Two men got out of the truck, they were behaving suspiciously, so without hesitation Kim decided to wait and call for reinforcements.
"This is Kim, Sergeant, two men entered the house, we think they may be armed, we need them to come now." - Kim was heard on everyone's intelligence radio.
"Wait until we arrive, do not enter the house, I repeat, DO NOT ENTER THE HOUSE." - Voight ordered them as he approached the address.
A few minutes later, everyone was ready to enter, and to be able to get answers as to what was in Abdel's house and why those men had entered.
"Everyone moves now. Halstead, Upton go back, Ruzek, Burgess go front. " - Voight ordered them, as he got out of his truck, drew his gun and walked straight to the house.
"CPD, open the door immediately." Adam yelled, and kicked the door making his way through the house.
