Thursday

Dear Journal,

I'm ready for school, sitting on my bed writing this. I'm still a little freaked out, but excited too. High school is one of the most important years of your life, and I'm about to live it! Goodbye junior high, hello high school!

Sharpay has been up for hours trying to pick out the perfect outfit to impress Troy Bolton. "We're going to be the power couple". She's been saying that all morning like it's her lines for a musical.

I believe in her though. I think any boy would want to be Sharpay's boyfriend. Every boy loves her. Not only because she's talented, because she has looks too. (It runs in the family) So why wouldn't Troy Bolton want to be her boyfriend? That would be beyond me.

Sharpay finally decides to go with a zebra print shirt and a pink skirt with pink sandals. If Shar can't do anything, she can for sure out dress everybody who comes her way. "It's a talent" is what she says.

Anyways, I was just called downstairs! I'm about to go to school! Wish me luck journal!

12:30

Finally!

It's free period so I can review my day so far.

Do you remember how I said all jocks are rude? The weirdest thing happened this morning.

So Shar and I were walking in the school when she saw Troy Bolton. She squealed, ran up to him, and did what she's been doing every since 4th grade: "Hey Troy!" *giggles* Shar has nothing to lose this year! I believe Troy would love to be her boyfriend.

Anyways, I let her have a moment with him without me tagging along, so I left to go to find Miss. Darbus' class. I was passing a locked when BAMM! Somebody ran into me!

"Watch it!" He said. It was Jason Cross. And he had a friend with him. He turned to his friend. "This is a drama kid. Don't talk to them. They're idiots." Psh. He should talk.

His friend looked at me, raised an eyebrow, then looked at Jason. "But you ran into him." He said. Jason sighed. "Zeke, I know you're new to East, but you should know, the drama kids and the jocks do not get along." Zeke tilted his head. "Why not?" He asked. "It's complicated, but it's always been that way. ask Chad about it."

Zeke looked at me again, so I quickly studied him. He has dark brown eyes, beautiful skin, and he's pretty tall. "Jason is sorry. Right?" Jason huffed then grabbed Zeke by the wrist. "We're late for class." He said, then they walked away.

So the thing is, I never seen this Zeke guy until this morning, meaning he didn't go to East Junior High, or East Elementary School. And, well, I think he's kinda cute. I mean, he's nice, but I don't really know him, you know? I need to find out more about him until I can nominate him my crush. I just met the guy anyway.

I should go know, Shar and I are trying out for the drama club. Wish us luck!
