Chapter 2

I woke up this morning thinking today wouldn't be one of those days I would remember which was very wrong of me. I had returned home in the afternoon to find Logan sitting on his hands, he was clearly nervous about something but wouldn't tell me

"Hello Ace did you have a good day?" Logan asked getting up to greet her. Little did she know he had only gotten back an hour ago. Logan was going to ask tonight as he was already going insane so he had no intention of waiting

"Yes I got my final assignments handed in so I am officially done on schoolwork until graduation" Rory said just before Logan kissed her

"I always knew you would finish early Ace, could we have dinner tonight?" He asked

"Of course"

"6pm good" He was hoping to take her to a restaurant and then pop the question after dinner maybe at the library

"Yes of course is it causal?"

"Just wear the clothes I leave on the bed for you"

"Thank you" she was happy not to have to chose and even more happy Logan understood that about her

They sat down on the couch and watched some tv together. Getting up periodically for food, drinks and toilet trips it was during one of these trips when Rory was in the bathroom he sent Lorelai a message

Just letting you know I plan to ask her tonight however in case I chicken out don't asked her anything tomorrow. I only say this because I'm incredibly nervous - Logan

Nothing to worry about Logan she loves you I can see it whenever you guys on the phone. Don't worry I won't say a word but I'm glad you are going to do it soon - Lorelai

She's just come back going to go - Logan

Soon it was 5pm and Rory had left the couch to get ready Logan had already left some clothes out on the bed for her so she put them on and did her hair and make up accordingly before joining Logan

They had a magical dinner together before Logan led them towards the library

"Logan isn't it closed?" Rory asked there had been a notice go out. Today that the library would be closing early for some reason.

"Ace do you trust me?" He asked her walking inside

"Yes I trust you" she said following Logan inside. He led them to the corner "Do you know why I brought you here?"

"It's the place I called you Butt-Faced Miscreant" She smiled as she said that

"It's also the place I fell in love with you even more. Rory you make me the happiest I've ever been in my life. Please will you continue to do this but as my wife?" Logan pulled the ring out if his pocket before getting down on one knee to ask the big question "Lorelai Leigh Gilmore please will you marry me?"

"Yes!" She responded practically throwing herself at him. Logan stood up and kissed her till she was weak at the knees before slipping the ring on her finger "Is that why you were so nervous earlier?"

"Yes I was worried it was too soon"

"Logan we've been together for 3 years we've had ups and down but it's really obvious that we love each other to bits I know I want to marry you without a pro con list, without doing any research..."Rorys rambling got cut off by Logan giving her another kiss

"What do you day we get some ice cream and then become indisposed?"

"I would love that"

With that they went and got Ice Cream Sunday's with all the toppings before becoming tangled up in Logan's arms in bed
