R&R longer note at the end
The brown haired girl ran through the dull marble halls of the compound, she had gone to check in on a prisoner and found he was missing. She reached her leaders office as she stopped to catch her breath wondering how best to explain what had happened.
After composing herself she knocked on the leader's door before she was summoned in she pushed open the large black wooden door entering slowly as she bowed politely closing the door behind her. She looked at her leader sat behind his wooden desk before stepping closer into the dim light of the room.
"What is it?" The blonde haired man sat behind the desk asked slowly looking up from his paperwork.
"W-we have a problem sir" the brown haired girl said as she nervously stepped forward her black dress slowly kicking up as she walked. The blonde looked at her through his clear blue eyes, she stopped walking suddenly as she felt something catch in her throat from his intense gaze.
"Please" he said looking directly into her eyes "Continue". She gulped a little looking down a little at her feet trying to pick her words carefully, after a few moments she looked up and spoke again.
"It appears a prisoner has escaped sir" She said awaiting his response. He sat in silence for a few moments before slowly standing up, the girl backed away slightly as he placed his gloved hands on the desk in front of him.
"Find him" He said slowly, the girl nodded as she left closing the door she breathed a sigh of relief. It was not uncommon for her leader to lose his temper when mistakes happened but this time he seemed rather calm and collected, this concerned her more as she walked the halls again.
Bit of a shorter chapter this time, I felt with the addition of two new characters and what has happened I didn't want to overload it too much so this one is a little short and sweet to keep you guessing on who these people are and what they want
So I hope you all enjoyed, chapter three should be a bit longer with just a little bit more mystery but maybe some answers coming for the questions no one has asked yet
