LaViolaViolaRosa: Thank you! And yay! New reader!

Omni Spectator (Guest): LOL! And I kinda like the version exclusive idea for at least parts of their team (Because, like I said, I want Kitty to have a Bewear and I want one of them to have a Mimikyu)

Matt (Guest): I actually do ship them.

So...am I the only one who thinks Hau is underrated AND overrated? Like, yeah he's definitely the peak of the friendly rivals of the series, but that's the point. He's meant to be the friendly guy. And, hey, at least had a purpose in the story! (Glaring at you, half of X and Y's rivals!) Anyways, let's get going. Emma is now seven and Kitty and Hau are four.

"Well, I guess we don't have to worry about the future of Alola!" The Kahuna of Melemele island, Hala, said with a hearty laugh. Shortly after the word of Kukui's new daughters came out, he had taken his grandson, Hau, to meet them. The kids all hit it off beyond quickly.

"Those three are gonna go far!" Kukui agreed as he watched the kids imitate a Pokémon battle using some stuffed animals.

"Pikachu, use thundershock!" Emma called out as she pointed forward. As if on cue, a gust of wind knocked over Hau's Yungoos's plush over.

"No! Yungoos, come back!" Hau said as he ran over to his plush and grabbed it, setting it behind him as if he had returned it to a Pokéball. "Go, Crabrawler!" He then set down his Crabrawler plush.

"Shame Emma won't be doing her Island Challenge with her sister and Hau," Hala noted.

"Actually, about that, Emma's thinking she's gonna wait until they are old enough," Kukui admitted as he rubbed the back of his neck. "I know that it's not normal, but hey, if she wants to do it with them, it's not like she can't." Hala nodded. He knew that the only rules for the Island Challenge was that one needed to be eleven or older. But waiting for a sibling to do one was rare.

"Why's she waiting though?" He needed to ask. "She could do it and still go with Hau and her sister."

"I think it comes down to her wanting to create the memories of her Challenge with her friend and her little sister," Kukui explained. The mock Pokémon battle had taken a break for snacks brought by Burnet, who walked over to join the two men.

"You think that they'll make great trainers someday?" Burnet asked, even though she had a feeling she already knew the answer.

"Think?!" Kukui exclaimed with a laugh. "I know they will! One of 'em might even be the future champion of Alola!"

"Still trying to make that dream a reality, Kukui?" Hala asked.

"Of course I am!" Kukui declared as he slung one arm around his wife and the other around his friend. "Imagine it, one of them, the first champion of Alola!" Burnet and Hala turned to see the kids had returned to their game, only now Kitty was "battling" Hau.

"If those three are the future of Alola...I'd say that we are all in good hands," Hala agreed with yet another hearty laugh.

Honestly, I don't know what's coming next. Might be something original, might be the meeting with Lillie, I don't know. See you then.
