Enjoy!

Yes, Zeke X Ryan again

I know I talk about this couple a lot, but it's just my friends and I have major respect for it. We're planning on writing a fic where they go on an adventure with Tiara and Sharpay. I'm not going to say a lot about it since we're still brainstorming Ideas for it, but I'm just going to say, the main characters are going to be Sharpay Evans, Ryan Evans, Tiara Gold, and Zeke Baylor. That's the plan.

So, instead of writing yet another short fic of them getting together or doing something... impropriate with each other (that's what my ao3 account is for!) I decided to recall my favorite Zeke X Ryan moments in the movie. There aren't many, but there is still some there. Watch me work.

Before I began, I want to admit something. I have made it my personal mission to get at least 5 people to ship Zyan before I go to college. It would be nice to read a Zeke X Ryan fic that's finished... and not my own. Not going to force you guys to listen to my pity party, but I would love to read any Zeke X Ryan fanfics! Writers, are you out there? (*Is Anybody Out there?*) Sorry, I just really love that song. Any who, If you ever decide to write a Zeke X Ryan, tell me. I'll be glad to read it, and comment on it too!

High School Musical 1

When I first watched High School Musical when I was younger, I didn't pay much attention to the couples except Troyella and Chaylor since they are really the main characters in the whole films. So, I only recognized Zeke Baylor after re watching it a few years later and saying how adorable he is. And that part he had in Stick To The Status Quo made me love him too. And, ladies, he bakes. (Que the cat whistle) *Zeke blushes and walks away really fast.*

So, after all the excitement of the whole movie, I was already shipping Troy and Gabriella along with shipping Chad and Taylor... when I notice a particular part that I forgot all about. A part that young me never looked into. That part being when Zeke was being smooth. He's all, "Hey Sharpay! I'm sorry you didn't get the part, but I still think you're really good. I admire you so much!" (Aww, right? Wrong. I still don't ship Zekepay) Sharpay laughed in poor Zeke Baylor's face. "And why wouldn't you? Now bye-bye." She starts to walk away, Zeke offers her some cookies, she scoffs and says "Ew."

But my sweet innocent Ryan Evans took them. A small brush of the hand. A look deeply into the eyes. A smile they share- ok, I'm being dramatic. Here's what really happened. Ryan: (Takes cookies) Nice Game! Zeke: (Touches his arm in a polite manner) Thanks. Even though that was a small Zeke X Ryan part for others, for me, it was the Start Of Something New.

High School Musical 2

Zeke and Ryan only had two particular moments together in this one, but they were still really cute. The first on was where Zeke was trying to get Sharpay to sign his yearbook, if you watch Ryan, you see that he looks at Zeke adoringly and smiles at him. And while Sharpay signs his yearbook, Ryan looks at the page, then smiles at Zeke again. Lucas Grabeel makes it clear that that wasn't just Ryan being polite. The last Zeke X Ryan moment was when Zeke made that joke in the kitchen, our favorite Jazz Square loving character found the joke way funnier than everyone. (*Ryan knew what's up. Zeke bakes, and he's sweet, and cute. The perfect man.*)

High School Musical 3: Senior Year

This movie had a lot of Zeke X Ryan scenes. It made me really happy and made me have a feeling of closure. And to be honest, Zeke and Ryan have better chemistry than Zeke and Sharpay or Kelsi and Ryan. (Which surprised me since I thought that Kelsi was with Jason...) So, the first scene happened in the all famous "I Want It All" scene. Everyone knows what I'm about to say. The third song of the film was called "I Want It All", performed by or favorite twins, Ryan and Sharpay Evans!

So anyways, A little into the song, the twins are on a "plane" on their way to "Hawaii." When they get unbuckled, Taylor (Who was dressed like a flight attendant) hands them flower necklaces and they go to the next section, where Zeke wore an unbuttoned Hawaiian shirt and handed them drinks in coconuts. They do a conga line, and as they exit, Ryan checks Zeke out. (which surprised the average Disney fan) But that isn't all! They both both put the coconuts down before they leave, and Zeke picks up the one Ryan held. (No lie)

There was also that small part in "A Night To Remember where the guys say, "We love it!" Ryan checks Zeke out again and Zeke just smiles at him and keeps singing.

Next, was at the Spring musical where Ryan and Zeke stood next to each other. If you look right after Gabriella throws a rose down to Kelsi's piano, you'll see Zeke and Ryan smiling at each other, than they nudged each other playfully. With the song playing, (I Just Wanna Be With You) gives that little part a whole new meaning. Allow me to demonstrate:

(Song playing is: Is Just Wanna Be With You)

*Zeke and Ryan singing to each other* _All that I Wanna Do_ (nudge each other.) _Is Be With You!_

See what I mean?

Anyways, after all of that, Zeke and Ryan sat next to each other at graduation. When Troy says, "Where a jock, can cook up a mean Crème Brulee." Zeke smiles and Ryan nudges him in the arm. Zeke turns to him and smiles, and Ryan smiled back. Now that's how the movie went. If you watch the bloopers to HSM 3, you'll see that scene with a little twist: Ryan kisses Zeke right after Troy's line. Not just a little friendly one. A full, "Jump my man" kiss. No one talks much about it since nobody really cares about the bloopers.

But if you go find the HSM 3 bloopers, I swear. It's in there.

-Sorry I skipped Tiara Gold! I'll do her next!-
