Marinette is a baker. She took over her parents' bakery when they retired. Just like Tom's mother, Gina, the two decided to go on a romantic trip to enjoy life a little.

Marinette met Wang Fu when she was still in middle school. As he was looking for a successor, he saw Marinette as the perfect candidate. She learned to be a Guardian from Master Fu and even made several trips to Tibet to learn more about the customs of the Guardians, now extinct. Then, shortly before Master Fu's death, she became the new Guardian.

She continues to make trips from time to time, mostly on holidays, to find the lost Miraculous around the world. She has already managed to recover a few, which she keeps in her home. Of course, she can't always retrieve these Miraculous legally. That's why sometimes she has to steal them. To do this, she mainly uses the Mouse Miraculous and the Fox Miraculous. However, she also uses the Horse Miraculous on a regular basis when she has to go somewhere in a hurry. Such as an exhibition for example or an auction and there is a Miraculous. In this case, she can't take days off.

She is known around the world as an international thief under the alias "Pixie".

Jason is Red Hood. They met on the plane when Jason and Roy were flying to Paris for a job. They hit it off. Marinette told him about her bakery. At the end of his mission, Jason decided to visit it. He stayed a long time and found Marinette charming. The two kept in touch. They talk regularly by phone and sometimes they make video calls.

Then came the Franco-American friendship day. For this occasion, an exhibition was organized in New York. Marinette told him that she would be coming to New York soon because she wanted to see the exhibition. Jason dropped everything to go and find her. (He later learns that the thief Pixie had been to the La Fayette exhibit and stole an old necklace.)

They spend the whole week together. Jason must admit to himself that he really likes this girl. This is confirmed when Marinette has to go back to Paris, and she kisses him before she leaves.

They start dating. Sure, it's a long distance relationship, but they make it work. It was even easier for them. Jason could continue to be Red Hood, while Marinette could continue to be Pixie. They only saw each other occasionally, usually once or twice every three or four months.

This situation lasted for a total of two years. The more time passed, the more this long-distance relationship became burdensome. Their feelings for each other became stronger. Marinette had almost succeeded in gathering all the lost Miraculous. She wanted to turn the page, to have a quieter and tidier life. She wanted to make a life with Jason. However, Marinette didn't know how to tell him. Was Jason ready to make the next step into a more serious relationship? She wanted to introduce him to her friends, her parents. She wanted to make their relationship more official.

Jason loved Marinette. He wanted to have a more normal relationship with her. However, was it possible to have a normal relationship with someone when he was Red Hood? Would Marinette accept him even knowing his secret? Marinette was safer away from him, but on the other hand, he found it increasingly difficult to leave her. Jason wanted to stay with her. He was sure Marinette was the one. It was silly, but he wanted to introduce her to Alfred, his brothers and even that jerk Bruce. He wanted to be able to introduce her as his wif-…. girlfriend.

Jason would not give up his identity as Red Hood. He had no desire to choose between her and his life as a vigilante.

He feels very alone. He couldn't tell anyone, because he had never mentioned Marinette to anyone.

Finally, Jason made his decision. Marinette didn't need to know he was Red Hood, did she? They could live together without it interfering with his nightly activities.

So Jason proposed to Marinette.

Marinette made a surprising revelation. She told him that she was the thief Pixie and she explained why she was doing this. Jason finally explained that he was Red Hood. She had trusted him, he had to trust her, too, right?

He also explained that he wasn't really on good terms with his family. Marinette agreed to marry him anyway. That's how he met Marinette's family and friends.

On his side, he introduced Marinette to his best friend Roy. He also introduced her to Alfred.

The two got married discreetly.

To keep everyone in the dark, Jason regularly went to Gotham using the Horse's Miraculous, while helping Marinette during the day with the bakery. Jason also helped Marinette retrieve the last of the Miraculous.

It was not without difficulty. He wanted to maintain a professional (and only professional) understanding between himself and the other members of the Bat-family. It seems that they had other plans. Jason was regularly invited to "family" outings or even to spend an evening at the Manor, but he flatly refused each time.

He was adamant that they would be "colleagues" at best and "acquaintances" at worst, but no more.

This went on for two years. Until something happened that completely disrupted his organization.

Marinette became pregnant.

Suddenly, Jason couldn't be so far away from Paris. Leaving his wife alone was out of question. He began to find more and more excuses to avoid going on patrol.

Then one night, he was seriously injured in an explosion. He was taken to the Bat-Cave. While he was unconscious, his phone kept ringing.

It was Dick who picked up the phone, since Jason was unconscious.

"Jason? Where are you? You have to come back! Mari-"

"Hmm… I'm not Jason."

"Who are you? Why do you have Jason's phone?"

"Jason is… not available right now. You are?"

"Lucas, a friend of his wife's."

"You're what?!"

"Look, I don't have time to explain, just tell him that Mari was just admitted to the hospital and he needs to come back urgently."

"Who?"

"Marinette, his wife. She was just admitted to the hospital, her water broke. The baby should be here by tomorrow morning."

"…."

"You… didn't know about this."

"I…will tell him."

"Thank you. And please hurry."

When Jason woke up he was bombarded with questions.

" You' re married?!"

"Since when?"

"Why didn't you ever say anything?!"

Jason's head hurt, but he understood that everyone seemed to have discovered his secret.

"How did…"

"Someone kept calling your phone, so I answered and the person said something about a Marinette who had just been admitted to the hospital and who apparently will be your wife!"

" Mari is in the hospital?! SHIT!"

Jason scrambled to his feet and staggered for a moment. He didn't have time for an interrogation, his wife was about to give birth!

"Jason, please, can you-"

"Bruce, my wife is about to have my son, I don't have time for your crap, get out of the way!"

Jason pushed everyone aside, transformed with Kaalki's help, opened a portal and disappeared, leaving his family completely stunned.

It wasn't until two week later, when he saw Bruce on his doorstep that he remembered what he had done.

He was in big trouble.
