Randy played with the collar of the scratchy polo shirt Proton insisted he wear to the party. He sat by himself on a bench facing the ocean on the beach front property. He'd try not to watch any, of the many, other guests too long as he didn't want to draw attention to himself. Proton had made it clear to Randy that he was there to be seen and not heard. The older squirrel obviously was nervous that Randy would likely bring something up about himself that would embarrass the rich man in front of his prominent friends.

Randy really didn't want to bring about his lover's fury. Proton was generally a very well-tempered serious individual, and cool headed despite any situation, but had brough up on more than a few occasions that Randy seemed to easily bring out the worst in him. The times Proton had lashed out on the younger man he was incredibly cruel verbally and even physically. He'd always eventually apology for the abuse he'd seemingly effortlessly dished out, which was more than his farther ever did at least. Randy didn't think too much on negativity this new relationship seemed to be overflowing with, as he'd never really been in a healthy romantic partnership, so he just tried to focus on how kind Proton was to him the majority of time they shared together in private.

Randy, usually an outgoing guy that tried to be the life of the party, found himself extremely uncomfortable in his current surroundings. He knew the reason he wished he was anywhere else wasn't just the pressure Proton put on him, but was also these people made more in a year than he'd likely ever make in his life. It made him see just how worthless he really was. He'd never felt highly of himself, but being around so many successful important people made him see he was worth even less than he had even realized before. Proton had never made him feel so worthless when they were alone together... even the times they fought, but being here now, and worrying about how to present himself made him even see that even in their private moments together Proton also thought that lowly of him. The more he dwelled on such thoughts the more depressed he got.

His expression must have slipped as a young woman approached him. "Are you alright?" The white furred mouse stood in front of him with her hand behind her back as she smiled down at him. Her light pink dress swaying as the breezed picked up off and on.

Randy brough out his best fake grin and nodded a yes as he started playing with his collar again as the garment, he was forced to wear, kept making him itch relentlessly. "Yeah. Just thinking I should'a worn a lighter shirt."

A light chuckle escaped the young woman as she took a seat next to him on the bench. "It does seem a bit excessive to wear that in the tropics." He leaned in closer to him as she adjusted his collar.

Randy blushed a bit as their faces briefly closed in on one another. Her hands were soft, and her perfume sent was sweet. He hadn't been close to a woman in some time. Not for well over a year. An image of Proton's face looking lustfully as him shot through his mind and Randy scooched himself back a bit to retreat from the female as guilt started to creep through his chest. "I'm Randy." The squirrel held out his hand as he tried his best not let his face not give way to how nervous he had become suddenly.

"Emily." She continued to smile as she shook his hand before moving back a bit on the bench herself to become more comfortable. "I've seen you over here by yourself for the last hour, so I though I should check on you. I take it you're also someone's companion here?"

"Oh thank da lord, she's taken." Randy thought to himself as he let out a little sigh of relief. "Ya. It's my first time ta this sorta uhh... thing."

"I figured as much considering you're avoiding everyone." She let out another small laugh that caused Randy's short-lived relief to dry up as a light panic started to pick up again.

"Why's she gotta have such a soft voice, long hair, and.." Randy thought as he couldn't help by let his eyes quickly drat over her body causing him to become a bit stiff. "Why ya gotta be so feminine?!" He screamed in his head as he looked at her apologetically as her smile grew due to noticing his interest in her.

"I'm here with Ryan Van. I'm his current favorite mistress, but hopefully that'll pass soon. He goes through fazes with the three of us and after about a week I find myself getting tired of hearing him boast about himself. The sad life of dating a senator." She sighed as she reached her hand out towards the man seated next to her. "Who are you stuck here with?"

"Oh uh... Proton." Randy swallowed hard as the smile dropped off the woman's face and she moved her out stretched hand back to her lap. "Proton Electro." He coughed nervously knowing his face was turning red, but not totally sure why.

"Oh. I didn't realize you were..." She cut herself off before obviously forcing a smile on her face. "Not that it matters!" She was quick to chimed in.

Now Randy looked down in his lap feeling a bit upset and confused. "I wouldn't say I'm..." He stopped himself from saying the word that even the woman across from him refused to say.

"Oh. He's your first?" She questioned a bit excitedly leaning in to Randy as she seemed to find a new interest in him.

"I..." Randy looked at the beach before them and rubbed the back of his neck with one of his hands before glancing back at her. "Yeah."

"Doesn't sounds like he's doing a very good job of converting you." She laughed before playfully slapping Randy on the shoulder. "Then again, I would have never thought I'd see the day Proton Electro would came to a party with another man. You must be something else." Her soft smile gave way to a bit of seduction that drug Randy in fast.

"Randal." A stern male voice came from behind the seated squirrel.

Randy jumped up and looked back to see Proton looking at him blankly. Two men seemed to have followed him over. "Proton!" Randy smiled at his lover trying to hide the shame he was sure was plastered all over his face.

"Who's your friend?" The older squirrel kept his voice low and face without expression.

"I'm Emily." The mouse jumped up took a light bow. "I'm here with Senator Van, sir."

"Ah, the Senator." Proton gave her a light bow back and then placed one of his hands behind his back while holding the other out to order Randy to his side. "Send him my best."

"Of course, Mr. Electro." She bowed again and then shot Randy one last smile before taking her leave.

Proton wrapped his arm around Randy's waist softly and then moved him towards the two men that had followed him to the bench.

"This is my boy I was telling you about, Randal." Proton spoke almost as if he were bosting about the younger man.

Randy shook the men's hands and felt a large anchor of guilt fall on his shoulders. He continued to stand there, silent, while the three other men talked for a few more minutes. By the time the other men left Randy noticed Proton's grip had tightened on him by a large amount.

Randy glanced over to find Proton staring at him. His face would have looked emotionless to most but Randy could see the angry burning in his eyes. "We need to talk." Proton's voice was low but the words slipped out fast. Far faster than he usually spoke. "Now." He stressed growling as his body tensed up while leading Randy off to somewhere private where he'd likely chastise him.
