"So how about Hana?"

"Hell No! flowers wilt...Are you saying that my daughter will wilt Iemistu?" The blue eyed brunet man asked incredulously while pointing to his three-day old child.

Yoriko sighed internally at her dumb husband's antics. She couldn't understand for the life of her why her husband decided to bring his boss into the whole naming process of her child. To add to the current confusion, she was absolutely baffled at why Iemistu's dusty ass and his boss, Timoteo, are here either. She only invited Nana, his wife, the one who was there for her the first six of the nine months.

What Yoriko was absolutely sure about is the building urge to snap Iemitsu's neck; end Nana's suffering and prevent some of little Tsunayoshi's.

Thinking back to it, she should have seen this entire 'naming ceremony' coming, seeing that the sleeping boy on her left went through the same thing not even twenty-four hours after his birth.

While Rinaldo and Iemistu continued to bicker over names, Yoriko zoned out in her own thoughts simply due to the fact that she cannot find a reason for her to be mentally present at the moment.

Now don't get her wrong she wanted to name her child as much as any normal mother, but she has long since realized that she can't always have normal situations, since the man she married is far from.

"Margrethe!" her husband exclaimed

Umm...ew?

"You have a baby, not a bitter old woman Rinaldo!" Iemistu shot down.

This is the only time, I'll agree with you blondie.

"Ne, Riko-chan."

Yoriko turned her attention to the equally tired brunette woman next to her.

"hmm?"

"What was the name you told me about when me first visited that cake shop, it began with 'K' I think?"

The darker skinned woman stared at her friend, face twisted in confusion before her eyes widened.

Yoriko stood up as quickly as she could while cradling her baby.

"That's it!" Rinaldo shouted with a bright smile.

"Celeste!"

"Kimiko!"

Both names were shouted at the same time.

The parents just looked wide eyed at each other in silence before Rinaldo couldn't help smiling softly at his wife.

The blue eyed man strolled over to his wife's side to smile down at his sleeping baby.

"Kimiko Celeste Aida."

Yoriko looked up at her husband, face twisted with confusion

"My maiden name?"

The man just shrugged.

"Well we are staying in Japan, so I figured just to make her life a bit easier with a matching last name"

Yoriko just nodded, before smiling down at the stirring babe in her arms. She pressed her lips to her forehead

"My sweet little girl, My Kimiko"

Rinaldo watched his wife's actions and noticed the glow she emitted when she smiled at the child. He made a silent promise to always protect both the love of his life and the light of his life.

"Yoriko dear, may I hold the little bambina?" asked Rinaldo's boss, Stefano, an older Italian man with streaks of black littering his predominantly gray hair. She smiled and passed Kimiko over to the man, she trusted the man,he is the closest to a father figure her husband has and she's knows the man feels the same.

"Let me get you all some drinks" Riko said excusing herself.

"I'll come with you Riko-chan" Nana trailed behind the darker woman.

When the women left the room, the men turned to Stefano who was smiling down at the bundle in his arms.

He traced his index finger on the chubby cheek causing the baby to giggle and grab his finger. Now, this action would have looked normal to anyone who wasn't watching closely but the men saw a surge of orange light come from Kimiko's tiny hand run across the old man's knuckles only to dance around the heavy looking gold ring on his middle finger, then vanish completely.

Timoteo looked over the man's shoulder with slightly raised brows and an amused smile.

Rinaldo felt pride flow through him, but his guard went up immediately. He felt hostility in the air.

Iemitsu stood up marching over to the baby.

He wasn't surprised at the source.

"She's showing signs of sky flames already!?"

Iemistu sounded out raged or envious, Rinaldo didn't know, what he did know is that the tone he used with his child didn't sit well with him.

Rinaldo activated his flames, feeling them flicker across his chest, and stood before his boss and his baby, staring the now startled blond man square in his eyes, he spoke.

"Watch your tone Sawada."

Iemistsu looked at him with a dull look but Rinaldo could see that the man was alarmed.

The both of them continued their stare off until Rinaldo's boss chucked and placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Come now Rinaldo, no need to be so easily aggravated."

"Iemistu, I didn't particularly know what that outburst was about, please remember that you're talking about a new born." Timoteo commented with a disappointed frown on his face.

Iemistu looked at the other two men before sighing and smiling sheepishly at the brunet before him, patting his shoulder good naturedly

"C'mon Rin you know I'm joking!" he laughed.

Rinaldo just rolled his eyes at the man's half-assed apology and got rid of his flames just before his wife came back to the sitting room with drinks.

Both women shared out drinks and urged the men to sit down.

Stefano just chuckled at the roller-coaster of scenes and emotions that just happened before his eyes.

He pressed his lips on Kimiko's hand and one on her head before handing her back to her mother.

"She will grow up to be great Riko." Stefano said to her with a bright smile.

Yoriko just smiled at her daughter and spoke very lowly just for her husband's boss to hear

"No, she's already great." She uttered before lifting her eyes to the older man.

"After all, she was born into this world." Riko stared blankly into his calculating eyes on his smiling face before plucking her child from his arms and turning on her heel to rejoin her friend on the couch where they originally sat.

Try as he might to meet the wife of his advisor's eyes she continued to pay him dust for the remainder of the evening.
