"Before we officially start, I suggest that you all have something to throw up in. This is going to be quite overwhelming." EVAH announced
"Well that's quite obvious" Lunoir muttered as the viewing started.
Peaceful music was heard playing as the screen slowly faded into a dark blank before a narration was heard.
"EVAH why are you narrating?" Hermes asked.
"It is part of my programming."
"1914 how peculiar that a single bullet, a single death can change the world forever.
Nations will fall, Nations will rise, Empires will fall and an entire continent set ablaze in the wake of this event.
Alliances are triggered in a chain reaction that sweeps across the continent like a merciless plaque.
Armies will destroy the land, Soliders dig endless trenches; and the scars they leave on earth, will be left for generations too come.
We will also see some of the worst inventions that mankind has ever conceived.
Everyone didn't know how to respond to what they had just heard. How could they, however, some of them could only shake in fear at the words, thankfully their friends and loved ones were there to rub there shoulders.
The screen then slowly started to move downwards, soon revealing a woman with dark hair who was on a bed, fast asleep on a hospital bed
"i-is that."
"It is." Miach simply said
Cassandra could only look on in fear and worry as she saw herself.
"I-I don't understand."
"Oh boy, looks like you're gonna be the first person we see to probably be in the this war" Loki said.
"What makes you think that?" Asfi asked "Cassandra looks like she's in a hospital bed. Since we're watching a different universe of ourselves in this war, which shouldn't even be possible, then this is probably flashback" Hermes replied
"That is probably true" Freya said.
While still asleep, Cassandra then started to move around in her sleep, as if she was either uncomfortable or was having a bad dream.
"Oh yeah, he is probably right" god Take said.
"Looks like you're having a bad dream" Daphne said.
"This is gonna suck" Cassandra said with a light whimper, causing Nazza and Daphne to pat her in the back A Hand slowly reached out for her as Bell did the same as the Hestia Familia was seated right behind Miach'. At the kind gesture Cassandra simply smiled at him. If the mood were different she would have blushed at having her crush comfort her.
as the camera slowly zoomed in on her, her eyes suddenly open up as the screen suddenly cut to an awake Cassandra in army clothing being pulled up by a fellow soldier, who then ran off as yells and gun fire was heard, with Cassandra looking around in a panic, with the peaceful music still playing.
The people and gods of Orario looked at the sudden transition in shock and horror.
"That esclated quickly!" Gareth Said in shock
as the screen then cut to numerous soldiers killing each other in brutal ways, with one American soldier hitting a German Soldier with a shovel, another German trying to fight off two Allied soldiers, with one of them smashing the German in the head with a rock, only for another German to stab him in the chest with a bayonet. Nobody was seen using a gun.
"gods" Riveria, Asfi, even Freya herself whispered in horror at the brutal tactics the soldiers were using against each other.
Others such as Haruhime, Chigusa, Tiona and Lefiya simply puked at seeing such brutality.
How they were actually able to process the horror and violence in such short time. Was it a curse, or testament to their skill as adventures?
"So that's what your wars looks like" Hestia said, eyes wide in shock as Bell fearfully held his hand to try and stop the shaking.
"No goddess." Was the reply as everyone stopped watching to look at her. "This is what war is in every dimension, even yours, war and death is one of the few universal languages that exists everywhere."
The screen then cut back to Cassandra , who looked to her left only to see a German yelling as he charged towards her.
"CASSANDRA!" Nazza, Daphne and Miach shouted in shock and horror as their hands went to their faces;
She then quickly took out a knife and sidestepped the German before stabbing him in the lower back and again in the back of the neck, blood spewing from the neck as the German tried in vain to stop it.
"Oh thank goodness" Miach Familia all said as they and all of their allies and friends let out the breaths they were holding, yet Cassandra looked on in horror at what she had done.
Nearby, another American hit a German with a shovel only to look up and see another German charging him with a bayonet, with the American desperately trying to block it, only for him to get stabbed in the hand and scream in pain This caused many people to cringe at the American getting his hand stabbed
"W-why aren't they using their weapons?" Tsubaki shakily asked
"That is something that I was wondering, where is their Armor? Their swords, and bows?" Hephaestus said in agreement,
"Don't tell me they dropped them just to fight like this!"
"I'm afraid they did, however, the people here stoped using swords and bows. With the introduction of gunpowder. On Earth, my planet that this takes place in, humans are known to be more brutal than the ones in your universe" EVAH replied
"My god" was a shared whisperer as Mia covered her frowning mouth, her girls actually huddled together in fear as she put her arms around them, Ryuu was over with Bell who put a hand on his to help him calm down.
The screen then cut to Cassandra quickly picking up the gun before cutting to an American tackling a German and punching him multiple times in the face, screaming something in French;
Cassandra was seen taking a deep breath before glaring at someone behind the screen, with the view cutting to black and her voice could be heard.
"War; Mankind's unworthiest creation, our greatest sin. What lead us here as a race, as a spices to create such an evil?"
At hearing her words, there were varying thoughts and reactions. With Loki There was sadness in some. Lefiya, Riveria, Finn, at seeing the kind of violence and carnage No one had seen such a thing. Not even when Raikia tried to invade, the horror here was unexplainable.
Freya, along with her Familia just watched with their thoughts to themselves.
Hermes actually just looked on in sadness as he had never seen such cruelty.
Asfi could only tighten her fists.
Hestia Familia could only look down in sadness at how empty and sad Cassandra' voice sounded. Broken even.
Text then appeared on the screen, but the first set of words were blurred however another set of text then appeared
Text: More than 60 Million soldiers fought and sacrificed in the "Great war".
Everyone was shocked and rocked to their core, even the gods themselves
"6-60 million soldiers?" Bell shakily repeated.
"H-h-how is that possible?" Take said in horror.
"T-the Great War?!"
Text:It would be later be called "The war to end all wars"
There was something about those words, that sent chills and shock down the backs of everyone there. Yet, it somehow felt revering.
"The war to end all wars." How can something be possible?
"It largely had to do with the weapons, tactics and horror that the technology of the time brought to the war. So deadly and so lethal were they that it set in people's minds that this kind of violence and death shouldnever again happen"
"As well as it should." Some said crossing their arms
It ended Nothing.
At reading that their arms feel limply.
"What does it mean by 'It ended nothing?'" Dionysus asked as Everyone from Orario looked at the screen in pure shock and sadness
Because About 20 years after this war ended a 2nd, more brutal World War broke out" EVAH replied
"Even after this, after so much death there was another one?" Loki and Hestia both said in disbelief
"Unfortunately, yes" she replied in a monotone voice.

Text: What follows is front line combat. Most soldiers are not expected to survive.
"Well that makes everyone feel better" Rose sarcastically said as
The viewing then cut to the POV of another soldier, presumably American yet they didn't know who were fighting, who was holding an old school LMG before looking up to see his officer looking at him in a panic Officer: We're surrounded! We have to hold this line! The Machine gunner nodded before following his officer to the remaining soldiers, with a few soldiers being dragged away from the warzone.
"Poor guys" Anya said in sadness.
"What are they using as weapons the smiths all said at the same time.
The viewing paused as VRAH began.
"Let me explain what weapons and tactics they used in this war." (Mental explanationgoes here for you cause I don't want to write that much.)
It shouldn't have been done out of reverenceor respect or what ever.But after her explanation of fire arms the smiths were already making details and plans to create guns of their own.
"Imagine how much more or children would survive in the dungeon if they had guns. Hermes Said which was actually a fair point to be said.
However EVAH put a stop to that. "And imagine when other nations like Rakia got their hands on them. It would be this real quick. And guns would have the extreme likeliness to make gods and their blessings useless. Otarl here may be the strongest, but what's that compared to a level 1 adventurer with a good aim and a rifle in their hand?" She said and everyone went ridged at those words.
"I retract my earlier statement" Hermes said sinking down a bit in his chair.
"They must be lucky to be pulled away if they survive" Mia said.
Officer: INCOMING!
Officer: Hold men! An artillery bombardment then showed up, destroying a nearby tank as the soldier we were viewing was seen getting into cover, preparing for the incoming german offensive "Oh my god! What was that?! gods and mortals yelled in shock
"That's an incredibly large explosion" Armid said in shock.
Whistling was heard as German soldiers were then seen charging towards the small american group and opening fire
Officer: Here they come! Fire at will! The Americans quickly returned fire, with soldiers from both sides getting shot and killed by the other side. The Machine gunner they were viewing blindly fired towards the incoming germans, some of which were difficult to see due to the environment.
"This is brutal" Filvis whined as she covered her head with her arms trying to drown out the noise
"Unfortunately, this is war Miss Filvis, It's hell" EVAH replied
Officer: Hold your ground! The Machine gunner ran out of ammo on his LMG, causing him to quickly get back into cover as his allies all opened fire, with a guy next to him in a window got shot in the head, splashing some blood on the said soldier's face This sudden death resulted in many of the females in the theater to yelp in shock.
"Holy shit! That was so sudden!" Bete yelled in shock and in horror.
"That's just how quick you can die in war with guns and artillery." EVAH said sadly or was it sagely.
The Machine gunner somehow managed to keep his calm as he finished reloading and wiped some of the blood off before repositioning himself at the window mounted his LMG on the window frame, then opening fire at the incoming germans. But for each German he killed, two more took his place.
"There's so many soldiers!" Tione yelled in shock.
"It's a never ending horde it seems like" her sister replied.
Soon, the soldier was forced to go back into cover, as grenades were seen being thrown towards his position. Unfortunately, one grenade landed right next to him, causing him to panic and run out of his cover, with the grenade exploding behind him and knocking him to the ground, dropping his LMG in the process. Many German soldiers had managed to break through and engaged in close quarters combat, with many using their bayonets to stab the Americans. This caused many of the people from Orario to cringe or look away at some of the brutal combat,
with Haruhime , Hestia and Lefiya and Filvis all tearing up at such cruel fighting.
Officer: Maintain your position!
"They should try and retreat! They're clearly getting overrun!" Otarl simply said. He's even calm ever since he got here, however, he has kept his arms crossed as well so take that however you want it.
"They're primary goal is to hold this line, whether or not they lost their lives or not" EVAH replied .
"So they're just seen as expendable?" Loki, Miach. Oranus, and Freya angrily asked.
"Yes, they are. Soldiers are generally seen as expendable to many generals during this time. It's actually seen as a huge victory if they could capture say.. 100 yards and only lose say five thousand to seven thousand dead."
"What?! Was the horrified response and a majority of the people and gods glared at EVAH.
The officer then looked to his right only for a German to shoot him in the skull, which the Machine gunner witnessed before responding by taking out his pistol and quickly shooting the German in the face, avenging his fallen officer for the moment.
This nearly caused a few people to throw up at the brutality of war. Everyone knew that coming into this it was gonna be brutal, but no one thought that any of VRAH' wars would be that brutal. And here they are possibly seeing themselves in those same positions.
The Machine gunner quickly got back up and turned around only to get shot in the face, killing him. The screen then zoomed out of the Machine gunner's pov, showing him falling to the ground, with the name of the soldier being revealed

Everyone's eyes widened in shock and horror "s-so young." Was whispered in horror as tears went down some faces
"I'm afraid that most who died were no older then most of you" EVAH stated in a sad voice.
Ouranus and Finn glared at the screen, refusing to believe such carnage could exist.
Cassandra was then heard speaking
Cassandra: We came from all over the world, so many of us thinking this war would be our rite of passage, our great adventure. Let me tell you, it was none of those things...well most of themanyway.
"That's something that many young men and woman fail to realize, that it isn't too an adventure" VRAH solmnly stated
"It's the same for times of war too. Some people think of the rewards, such as scoring a hot girl, but fail to understand some of the consequences of being the middle of a warzone."
The screen then cut to the Pov of a soldier on a mounted machine gun in a completely different location
"Looks like we're seeing this from different views" Freya observed
American Soldier: FLAME TROOPER!!! Officer: Let her sing! Pump 'em full of lead! The soldier responded to the command and opened fire on the incoming Germans, killing a majority of them with one or two shots, with blood seen getting sprayed everywhere from the gunfireand pieces of flesh.
The sudden and massive appearance of gore caused many people to feel sick yet again, all feeling extremely sick and nearly throwing up.
One German in heavy armor was seen using a flamethrower and burning multiple Americans alive, causing the machine gunner to quickly focus fire on the flame trooper. After firing what felt like a hundred bullets, the German's gas tank suddenly erupted into flames, causing him to panic before it blew up, killing him and nearby soldiers instantly.
"I'm not sure if he's a good guy, but poor guy" Tiona said while fearfully holding her sisters hand at the sight of the flame trooper's brutal death
"Yeah, that was fuckin' brutal" Bete said while cringing
Bell decided then and there to keep his fire bolt magic to a minimum.
Officer: Watch that left side! The Machine gunner nodded before quickly turning the machine gunner to the left, where multiple German soldiers were seen charging through the trenches. Unfortunately for them, they entered the line of sight of the Mounted Machine Gunner, who quickly opened fire and cut down numerous Germans, some of which tried to fire back, only to get teared apart by the machine gun.
Solider: AIRSHIP INCOMING! The Machine Gunner looked up and saw a huge Airship in the sky and for a moment, stared at it in a mixture of shock, awe and fear
"WHAT IN EARTH IS THAT THING?!!" Was the shocked voice of everyone. They had never seen such a thing.
Officer: Open fire! Keep shooting! The Machine Gunner quickly got their act together and returned to opening fire on the onslaught of never ending German Soldiers, only for the Airship to suddenly start opening fire, with each shot getting progressively closer to the Machine Gunner and their group.
Officer: SHIIIIIT!!! SHIIIIT!!! The blast from the Airship opening fire sent the Machine Gunner flying from their machine gun and fell on the ground, before quickly grabbing a shotgun and getting back up
"Wait he survived?!" the staff all shouted in shock.
"And he's already back into the fight?!" Otarl said in some respect.
Officer: They're getting through, rally at the church, we have to hold there! Germans were seen entering the church, with one nearly bayoneting an American soldier had the Machine Gunner not intervened by shooting him with the shotgun, brutally killing the German via literally blowing him apart. His whole left half of his chest and entire arm just blew apart in a massive gory mess, along with a second one that was nearby.
This sudden brutal death of the German soldier via the Shotgun caused the younger staff, to all scream, throw up into either bags or buckets that they took or all of the above, with Finn, Mia, Riveria, Asfi, Allen, and Aisha all barely preventing themselves from throwing up.
"Fuck!" Hermes and hephaestus both yelled in shock and horror.
"And that's why I recommended to have something ready to throw up in" EVAH stated
"Where did these even come from?" Take whispered to himself as he watched his child Chigusa silently cry.
The American that the Machine Gunner saved was just about to thank them only for him to get shot in the back, killing him instantly and causing the Machine Gunner to jump back in shock before turning towards the killer and returning fire with their shotgun, killing him and avenging their ally. Soldier: Watch the Windows! The Machine Gunner along with the remaining American troops, all held their ground as long as possible, but more and more Germans kept on charging in and overwhelming them
"It's just like earlier" Lillie said as A Flame Trooper was then seen entering the Church and targeted the Officer, burning him alive with his flame thrower and causing the Officer to scream in pain while nearby Germans cut down the number of Americans in the Church bit by bit
The screaming from the officer burning alive had finally caused many to start to tear up, with Bell nearly breaking down at the brutality, but he was just about keeping himself together.
"I can't imagine being in this" Bell shakily said.
"Hopefully none of us have to go through that" Hestia shakily replied
Soldier: They're everywhere! The Machine Gunner was luckily behind the Flame Trooper and used their shotgun to open fire on the back of the Flame Trooper, where after 3 shots, the gas exploded, killing the flame trooper but also killing nearby soldiers. The Machine Gunner then quickly ran into cover only to run face first into another Flame Trooper, startling the two The Machine Gunner desperately tried to run but the Flame Trooper engulfed them in flames, causing the Machine Gunner to scream in agony before soon, succumbing to the fire and death
"What a horrible way to go out" Otarl commented and Dionysius said "A brutal way".
The screen then zoomed out, revealing the burning body of the the soldier as their name appeared while the Germans were seen finally capturing the Church in the background

Cassandra: New killing machines, like the Tank, changed the shape of the war overnight. Luckily they were mostly on our side... Mostly. "I can't imagine the things they made to kill each other. Loki said somberly
"Unfortunately, that's how every universe works" EVAH replied.
The screen then cut to the Pov of a British Soldier, who was seen quickly entering a tank before shutting the door behind them
"what kind of creation is that!?" Hephaestus and Tsubaki asked stars in their eyes.
"Born in factories, delivered by engineers. Immune to the bullets of the enemy, unbothered by burdens of the the land. The Tank, the future of Warfare." EVAH simply said getting awe struck looks.
Tank Commander: Our boys in the church are overrun, we need to push through! People are counting on us! The Tank was then seen driving forwards, following the trials of another ally tank as multiple soldiers were seen being carried away, whether if they were injured or dead, with others simply limping away or running towards the battlefield
"Those guys must be really lucky to get away from the battlefield" Mikoto said.
"If they survived" Ais simply added
"Right" she sighed.
Driver: Use the Emma Gee, sweep the ground! The gunner obeyed, using the Emma Gee/Machine Gun and opening fire on the German soldiers inside of the Church, although those bullets unfortunately didn't do much against the flame troopers Tank.
Commander: Keep going driver! The Gunner quickly started to focus their attention on some of the Germans who seemed to be retreated, using the Emma Gee to gun them down as airplanes were seen flying by, with the Gunner stopping for a moment to look at them in awe
Driver: There's our fly boy's up there!
Tank Commander: Keep your eyes on the ground son!
"How the hell did he manage to figure out that those planes were on their side?" Lunoir asked, I could barely even see what color they were" she added.
"Same" Chloe and Anya said.
The two tanks quickly stopped after spotting a large group of Germans retreating from the trenches.
Tank Commander: Use that machine gun! Mow them down! The Gunner listened and opened fire with their Machine gun as both tanks started to go after the retreaters
"Look at the way that Machine gun mows them down" May said in horror.
"S-so many.. so fast." Welf said in revered horror.
"The machine gun. One of the main reasons why the war was so deadly." EVAH simply said.
Tank Commander: We've got them on the run! Push on! The two tanks charged forwards as explosions were seen not far away.
Tank Commander: Forward! For King and Country! The Gunner along with the other gunner in the other tank both started to blindly fire towards the incoming smoke that some Germans were trying to use to escape, with many of them actually failing to do so.
Tank Commander: We'll chase Fritz all the way back to Berlin!
"Who are the Fritz?" Bell asked.
"That's one of the nicknames for the German army, the soldiers in the Gray clothing the ones the boys we've been watching fight" VRAH replied
"Are they the bad guys?" Bell once again asked
"No. There were no good guys in this war. Everyone was a bad guy, it's war. No one nation was in the right..well maybe except one.
However The Germans wanted to gain control of some countries and get more powerful in economics. When they invaded the border nation of Belgium, that was when the war really did become a world war." EVAH replied
"It's always about power and money" the gods both angrily muttered.
The Gunner was then moved to a new location that gave them a perfect shot of the retreating Germans, one that they used to their advantage and opened fire, killing some of the Germans. One German soldier, however, was seen slowly walking ahead, gun loose in his hands and face down
"What's wrong with him?" Lefiya nervously asked Everyone else there also wonders though the Loki executives and some of the gods sighed as they understood in some ways what this was.
"Likely Combat Stress." EVAH simply replied Without hesitation,
The Gunner turned their gun on the Shellshocked soldier and opened fire, putting the poor German out of his misery and bringing along multiple other Germans.
This sudden act of cold-heartedness caused all of the watchers to widened their eyes in shock and horror, with a few of the girls gasping in shock "W-why?" Lefiya tearfully asked as she tried not to cry
"That was murder!!" Asfi slammed her fist in anger
"They are in a warzone on opposing sides. Most of the time soldiers during this time period simply had to mindset of 'kill everyone from the opposing side, try not to die" EVAH simply replied
"But it was clear that he didn't want to be there" Chigusa shakily said as tears streamed down her face.
"The gunner didn't have to kill him" Asfi once again angrily said.
"But he did" EVAH simply replied.
"Cold" Dionysius said.
Tank Commander: Incoming! A Field gun was heard firing before landing it's shot on the friendly tank in front, blowing it up and killing it's entire crew.
"Holy shit!" Raul yelled in shock that was shared with everyone else.
Driver: (In fear) Field gun took her apart! We're just a big fat target for that thing!
Tank Commander: Move driver! Go around! The driver quickly drove the tank around the wreckage of a building and away from the field gun, with the Tank Commander presumably turning to his gunner.
Tank Commander: If you get a clear shot on that blasted field gun you take it! The Gunner nodded their head as the driver started to drive to the tank through a house.
Tank Commander: Hold on! We're pushing through The Driver managed to get the tank through the building and near the Field Gun. Multiple Germans were seen panicking as the Field Gun crew were hurriedly trying to turn the field gun towards the tank crew.
Driver: There! On the left! The Gunner used the highly explosive shells and fired on the field gun, destroying it and killing the Germans using it
"Just imagine seeing another tank appear out of nowhere and blow you up" Finn nervously chuckled "You'd probably shit yourself right before death" Gareth replied
Tank Commander: Good job! Let's open a path for our lads! Move up with the rest of the armor The driver started to move the tank forwards, following another ally tank that had come to join the party, but shells from the Germans were seen being fired and blowing up groups of Allied soldiers.
Tank Commander: Push on dammit! We're almost through, fire at anything that moves! The Gunner looked ahead and saw multiple Germans falling back, causing them to open fire.
Driver: We're gonna make it! The screen then suddenly zoomed out of the Gunner's view, showing the tank driving ahead
"Huh?" A few of the people said in confusion.
Tank Commander: Shit! Incoming! An Artillery barrage then landed, with one of the shells landing right on the tank, killing the entire crew and revealing the name of the gunner

Everyone's eyes widened in shock at the sudden death "That was so sudden" Filvis shakily said.
"Not even an opportunity to react" Anakitty whispered in horror.
"And their names will never be known." Ouranus said somber. This one hit a bit with the gods. They had times when their children would be so mangled and so gore ridden that it was impossible to tell who they were without some kind of defining item on them. But to just die and no one ever knowing you.
Cassandra: Instead of adventure we found fear, and in war, the only true equalizer is death"
"That's the harsh reality" EVAH sighed
"Is it really?" Haruhime nervously asked.
"Yes it is" EVAH replied .
The screen then cut to the Pov of a new soldier holding what appeared to be a Submachine gun, and was seen putting on a gas mask as Mustard gas was seen being thrown towards them and their group.
"What's that cloud?" Dianchet asked as those who practiced healing also wondered what was going on
"Poison gas, more commonly known as Mustard gas. A very painful and cruel weapon The name poison gas suggests what it does" EVAH replied.
"HOW DARE THEY!!" Armid screamed, screamed as she slammed her fists into her arm rests. Getting shock and spooked looks. Yet in Miach, Nazza and Dianchet they had looks of pure anger and agreement.
The Submachine Gunner heard the sound of a whistle, which caused them along with their allies to charge towards the German soldiers, who charged right back.
The gasping for breath and fear that was heard told the viewers they were looking in the eyes of a female. The first one as well.
Soldiers from both sides were seen stabbing each other with their bayonets and firing at each other as the Submachine Gunner mowed down any German who dared to try and get close to them. The Submachine Gunner then quickly took out a grenade and threw it toward an incoming group of Germans, with the grenade blowing up and sending limbs and blood flying everywhere.
This sudden set of brutality and close hand to hand death resulted in a few to throw up, with Otarl, Ais, Allen, Freya, and and Hermes all looking to the side of the viewing.
"This is getting worse and worse" anakitty shakily and fearfully said after throwing up, with Ouka finally breaking and lightly sobbing after throwing up for the 2nd time and Chigusa trying to help calm him down by hugging him, which he accepted.
The Submachine Gunner somehow managed to keep their cool and push on, moving forwards and opening fire on every single German that she saw. Unfortunately for her, she failed to see a German charging towards her, The screen zoomed out of the soldiers pov, as the German managed to stab her in the neck. She completely went limp as she dropped to then ground.. at least if she wasn't being held by the German bayonet. The German finally kicking her off the blade and letting her fall in a pool of slowly forming blood.
This caused everyone to jump in shock, with a few people yelping in shock at what they were forced to watch.
The screen went dark again while text appeared, revealing the Submachine Gunner's name

WHAT?!" Raul and the entire Loki Familia sans Bete both shouted in shock, horror and anger, while Anakitty gasped in shock "M-me?" Anakitty could only shakily say. Which was a miracle in its own right because if it was anyone else, it would have been soulless and dead
"Sadly, yes" EVAH said in programmed sadness
"DAMMIT!" Raul shouted in anger as he started crying, with Lefiya, and Tiona and Tione finally starting to sob as well. and Ais and Line both nearly getting there too. Loki could only lean back wishing for a drink after watching how brutal her child died.
"I really hate those fucking Germans!" Raul said as he freely cried, looking away from the viewing.
"And those Germans hate her for doing the exact same thing to their friends." EVAH said. Not in a cold or snarky tone. But in a soft and almost grandmotherly way.
"Poor girl" Hermes sadly said
"And so we witness a death of someone we know." Ouranus said calmly.
"I fear the first of many." Rose said
"I guess you're right, but it makes you feel like shit whenever you see your other self die" Anakitty sighed
"I fear we'll soon understand" Dianchet eplied with a sigh
"Fucking bastard" Raul angrily muttered again.
"Just calm down Raul" Anakitty shakily whispered to her partner.
But you just got fucking killed!" He yelled in disbelief
"It's a different universe, Raul! I'm still here" Anakitty said placing her hand on his.
with tears still going down her eyes, "Just, calm down"
Raul took a deep breath, with her patting him in the back.
"Fine" he angrily said.
The screen then shifted to the pov of another soldier, who shot and killed the German responsible for Anakitty' death
"That's what you get you piece of shit" Raul muttered in anger
The soldier slowly moved forward, allowing their teammates to take point and using their rifle's long range capabilities to snipe the incoming Germans American Soldier: AIRSHIP COMING DOWN! The Airship was seen falling down to the ground, with pieces of the airship being torn apart and blowing up and going on fire.
"It's almost like it's the end of the world" Line said in horror.
"More like it IS the end of the world" Miach replied,
The Sniper kept their focus on the Germans as they continued to fire shot after shot on every German they saw. The American's nearby were all heard letting out a war cry as they charged forward, with the Sniper moving along and spotting a German having his attention focused on someone else. The Sniper than ran full speed at the oblivious German with their gun in the air and bayonet pointed straight at him as they charged The Sniper then let out a yell as the German turned to face them, only for the Sniper to thrust the bayonet into the German's stomach, causing him to scream in pain, until the Sniper then pulled the trigger, finishing off the German in a brutal way as blood was seen covering his mask
"What's with these brutal deaths?" Ryuu shakily asked after throwing up for the 2nd time
"Welcome to war" EVAH sighed
The Sniper then kicked the German off and was about to return to shooting only to get shot in the face The screen zoomed out to see the sniper falling over dead, with text yet again appearing and revealing their name
Text: Raul Nord, 1900 - 1918
"What?!" all Loki familia shouted in shock
"You've got to be fucking kidding me!" Loki yelled in anger
"Raul." Anakitty just said as she embraced him in a hug
"At least I took the one who killed you with me." He said coldly. Shocking a couple of his familia members but Anakitty just hugged him tighter.
The screen then cut to the pov of one last soldier. Time seemed to have slowed down as this soldier fired shot after shot at the counter attacking German's, with explosions and gunfire being heard all around her All of this deafened the soldier, allowing a German trooper in a gas mask to knock her down to the ground with a shovel before holding the shovel above her, ready to strike. Until suddenly, the ground violently started to shake as the two looked up in shock and saw the incoming barrage that was speeding right towards them.
Soldier: ARTILLERY! GET DOWN! The screen then cut to black right as the explosion appeared, destroying his position.
"DID THEY JUST SEND AN ARTILLERY STRIKE ON THEIR OWN MEN?!" everyone from Orario mortal and god shouted in anger
"Yes they did" EVAH replied
"WHY?!" they all shouted
"It could be because they likely saw those soldiers as losing and they called in an artillery strike to stop the Germans from winning this fight" EVAH simply replied
"But they're people!" Lillie angrily yelled.
"Well in war sometimes there were generals and other commanders who don't care about that Bell" VRAH calmly replied back
"How can you be so calm?" Mia asked as she glared at VRAH "it's because I am not capable of feeling emotions. EVAH replied
The screen then faded to the Pov of the same soldier, who slowly got up before looking around, noticing dead bodies everywhere near her
"Fucking hell" Bete said as he tried not to lose his composure as he was reminded about the slaughter of his village
The Solider was revealed to be Cassandra, however when she turned around, where she noticed a German Soldier who was actually the same one who was about to club her with that shovel, taking off her gas mask and standing back up and looking at her.
"Daphne?!" the Miach Familia shouted in disbelief with Cassandra being the loudest. Daphne herself was speechless at what she was seeing.
"Holy shit, she survived!" Someone said, no one knew as they were all too focused on the screen.
The screen then zoomed out to reveal Cassandra quickly aiming her rifle at Daphne, and Daphne did the same back.
"WAIT WHAT?!" The two both shouted in shock and horror that was shared by everyone else
"You're both on opposing sides" EVAH calmly replied.
"No shit grandma!" Allen, Bete and Aisha said.
"And it looks like it's a showdown" Misha fearfully said.
"I wouldn't kill Daphne/Cassandra!" They both shouted
"Don't take anyone else!" Hestia fearfully said.
While she wasn't speaking on screen, Cassandra' voice was heard speaking.
Cassandra: They push - We push. Both Cassandra and Daphne both kept their weapons aimed at one another, but neither of the two seemed to want to pull the trigger, the exhaustion and fear on their faces completely taken over their faces, as the sun was seen rising to the sky during this little showdown.
Cassandra: Every once in a while, we push hard enough that the light breaks through the clouds- Daphne and Cassandra were both slowly seen slowly if not a bit reluctantly aiming their guns down, with Daphne looking at Cassandra with a pleading expression.
"Come on" Daphne and Cassandra both pleadingly whispered as they and all of the others held their breaths.
Cassandra: -so the world beyond the war glimmers- Cassandra was seen taking a deep breath as she finally put her gun down, with Daphne doing the same
This caused all of the people to let out sighs of relief, some they didn't even know they held.
Daphne and Cassandra both were then seen looking around themselves as the sun near them rose to the top of the sky. Cassandra: -Just out of reach The screen then cut to a female riding on a horse yelling as she took out a sword before cutting to a group of British Soldiers charging out of the trenches.
Cassandra: The war is the world, and the world is the war.
Cassandra: But behind every gunsight, is a human being. The screen then cut to Otarl looking up at the camera
"That's interesting?" Freya Said in surprise as Others looked to him as well.
Cassandra: We, are those people The screen then cut to a train driving through multiple armored cars before cutting to Bete doing the sign of the cross on himself
"There's me" Bete said "Isn't that the sign of the cross or something like that?" Loki asked him.
"I believe so" Finn answers for him.
Cassandra: We are the Jaded, and we are the Naive The screen then cut to Tiona and Tione hugging each other
"And there's us" Tiona said "At least we're still together" her sister said with a smile, causing Tiona to smile as she hugged her sister, with friends and Familia looking at the two with their own smiles
Sage: We are the honorable, and the criminal The screen then cut to Chloe yelling as she slammed down a large piece of wood onto someone
"Wait what?!" Said cat shouted in disbelief "Is Chloe a criminal?" Lunoir and Anya asked in concern.
"You'll see once we get to them" EVAH replied.
"Them?" But there was no response to the question.
Cassandra: We are the bound-for-legend, and we are the lost-to-history The screen then cut to A man looking at the screen before cutting to a group of people cheering in front of a train wreckage.
Cassandra: We are the nights in the sky, the ghosts in the desert, The screen showed multiple plans flying in the air before cutting to Aisha looking back at something
"I'm in this as well?" Aisha repeated.
"You'll see" EVAH replied
"Can you stop it with the cryptic one liners?" Lillie asked in annoyance
"I'm afraid not, patience is a virtue after all." EVAH answered.
Cassandra: And the rats, in the mud Chloe was then seen carrying someone before collapsing onto her knees, dropping the person who was unidentifiable.
"Looks like Chloe may have saved someone. Mia said. A tone of pride in her voice.
Maybe she isn't a criminal" Lunoir said, causing the staff plus Freya' hopes to get up.
Mia was then seen glaring at someone before cutting to Lilie in chauffeur clothing gripping the steering wheel of a fancy old school looking car
"And then there's me and Mia" the Prum said said "mamma looks so pissed" the girls said.
"She is in war. I don't think she'd want to be there" Ryuu said
"True"
Cassandra: These are our stories Lillie was then seen looking up at the sky in shock, until the screen cut to black.
"That ending makes me feel a bit nervous"Lillie nervously said "Well then Lillie, you will be pleased to know that the next four viewings will revolve around your time during the war" EVAH replied, causing Lilli to become even more nervous, resulting in Bell and Hestia simply patting her in the back to show support.
