First, this is fan fiction where many people including myself do this as a free hobby.
Meaning if you don't like something use the back button. I don't get paid therefore I don't want to hear garbage from negative critics such as yourself cause you have nothing better to do.
And no, it's not being immature if I want you to use a back button.
On official media, I pay to watch either on TV, internet service, or DVD so given it's a paid product criticism is fair game. On free fan fiction which I do for enjoyment? Nope, don't want to hear it.
Especially from the DiNozzo, Abby, and Gibbs stans who are like moths to a flame when somebody dares post something rightfully calling out those three yet there are thousands of McGee bashing stories.
It downright disgusts me how many people like you I see come jumping to DiNozzo, Gibbs, or Abby's defense with all this bullying using the excuse of "It's just teasing."
No, it's abuse, plain and simple. There's a difference between teasing and being an abusive jerk.
I've suffered under the "Oh it's just teasing" reasoning for abuse myself from people I considered friends.
Of course, McGee said that since the show writers are the ones who have put him through abuse, who think DiNozzo is a cool character instead of a womanizing frat boy who never let be the bully in high school, let Gibbs does whatever he wants, let Abby get even more childishly pathetic into a cartoon character, the list goes on.
*laughs* Ah the old McGee and Ziva were siblings, they never would have worked as a couple.
Sure, then how come the NCIS writers as the seasons went on with pandering to Tony/Ziva people which derailed the show, it's a lousy relationship since Tiva has nothing in common, on top of Tony killed her boyfriend, and got rid of Ziva and with Tim sharing scenes if they were just siblings? Because Tim was a threat.
Like outside of a few episodes where they remembered "Oh right McGee still exists" completely got rid of Ziva and McGee's friendship the best they could.
Never mind that McGee was the first one on the team to reach out to her despite the evil actions her brother committed, which he did not hold against her at all given none of it was her fault while Ziva was disliked by everybody else and because she was coming in on the team after Kate's murder.
Originally Ziva went to McGee for help for like moving into DC, short cuts to work, McGee never insulted Ziva's misunderstanding of the American language/idioms with trying to help her, or when Ziva was trying to become a full American citizen he never mocked her attempts, unlike DiNozzo who was gleeful in it.
And Ziva was one of the few on the main NCIS team to show McGee compassion, they reassured each other when the other was down. Even had invited him over to dinner when she first moved in to her apartment and they kept up their friendship when separated in-between season 5 and 6 by email.
Also, other times where McGee and Ziva are causally at each other desks, near each other's personal space, or the few times where Ziva by face or voices that she finds McGee more attractive than DiNozzo.
Like frankly for Olicty, Tiva, WestAllen, Reylo, etc. when you have to destroy the character's relationships with other characters to prop up your "so great" romance pairing then maybe this supposed pairing is not that great.
Oh, the Tim and Ziva are just siblings? Right, like how Harmon Rabb Jr. and Meg Austin on JAG are just siblings used by Harmon/Mac shippers. You know despite all the flirting, or even in the last episode they had together Harm blatantly says to Meg "Unless you want to join me" when he's about to step into the shower which Meg briefly looks like considering before walking off.
For one last thing if Tim was absolutely zero threat to Tiva and just siblings with Ziva then how come a scripted scene in 10x05 had following a conversation with McGee causes Ziva to start looking into college classes for possibly exploring it. Something she never got to experience given her childhood.
Upon finding out Tony does his typical mocking Ziva's inability to fully grasp the English language.
Also, Ziva is looking into classes for writing so sharing McGee's hobby for novels and writing.
However, given season 10 was one of the most forced Tony/Ziva heavy seasons, the writers scrapped this.
Sure, Ziva went to Tim for help tracking down the man she thought killed her father, in season 10 but it was for one episode revealed at the end before quickly Ziva was shoved off into more Tiva focus.
Regarding Gibbs with his rules no I understand perfectly.
Given their job as investigators I get some of the rules like never let suspects stay together, always wear gloves at the crime scene, carry a knife, always watch the watchers but then there are the other rules of just Gibbs being a controlling jerk.
The rule six I find stupid and cowardly of never apologize, the rule of never be unreachable so like have the phone even on your day off, and don't want to be bothered? The never date a coworker despite NCIS's official policy allows for co-workers to date and/or married, never ever bother Gibbs in interrogation rule and probably others.
Like Gibbs wants to be a loner in his basement building boats with a string of ex-wives, or dead wife with kid and failed a life then fine. However, he shouldn't be forcing his rules onto directing how other people live their lives.
Plus, Gibbs doesn't just flat out give his team a list of rules straight up instead only revealing them here or there when he chooses to do so is not an effective teacher.

I do fan fiction for a hobby with wanting to bring enjoyment into people's lives, not just my own. Even if it's a fic born out of dislike for something done in TV, book, game or film I take my dislike for turning around to create something people will hopefully get joy out of.
People like you who are signed in or otherwise that only attack other's works are doing nothing but spreading hate in the world. We have enough of that as it is.
