Chapter 2: First Encounters.

Ruby Rose twiddled her thumbs in her hands as she rode the elevator up to the headmaster's office. Surely her and her team weren't already in trouble...right? It hadn't even been that long since they became a team.

"Yang, what did you do this time!?" The voice came from Weiss Schnee, a bit of an ice queen if you asked anyone around campus. It didn't help that Ruby was only fifteen, the youngest of the bunch at Beacon, and was the team's leader. However, they had a bit of a reconciliation and she trusted in Ruby's ability to be a good leader, so she would offer help in situations.

"Don't look at me, I didn't do anything." Yang Xaio Long, who was Ruby's older sister, fired back at the ice queen. She could be a bit hot headed and rash at times. However, she was still a caring teammate.

They each bickered amongst one another, completely ignoring the quiet sigh from Blake Belladonna. She was the quietest of the four of them. They didn't know much about her as a result, however, Blake was still dependable in any situation.

The four of them waited for the exit to the elevator to ding open, putting them in the top office at Beacon Academy, it didn't take long for Ruby to go flying out of the elevator, as petals flew off of her thanks to her semblance, she completely blew through team JNPR and skidded to a halt in front of Professor Ozpin's desk.

"SorryforwhateverwedidProfessorOzpinIPromiseItwon'thappenagainpleasedon'tkickusoutof-" she was cut off as Ozpin held up a hand to quiet her. The gray haired headmaster simply gave her a calming smile as he took a sip from his coffee mug.

"I can assure you, Miss Rose, that you and your team are not in trouble." The headmaster said calmly as he placed the mug on a placemat. Watching Ruby rock back on her feet.

"Oh...okay…" The youngest of Beacon blushed heavily.

"You could've warned us before!" she gasped as the voice of Jaune Arc, the leader of Team JNPR, addressed her. Team JNPR was RWBY's sister team. Consisting of Pyrrha Nikos, Nora Valkyrie and Lie Ren.

"Oh...I...didn't realize you beat us up here!"

"Maybe if you looked around, you would've." Weiss scoffed.

"Settle down, settle down." Professor Ozpin said calmly. "Earlier this evening, something very strange happened down in the Forever Fall Forest. He pulled out his scroll and projected it upwards to display to the eight of them.

The eight students felt their eyes widen at the sight of a large light blue beacon of light spat out four...things too small to really decipher into the middle of a forest opening.

Ozpin fast forwarded a couple minutes, this time, a bit of audio, though quite low managed to come through.

"PK Flash ɑ!" A blast of bright green light erupted from the location where the four things had fallen into the forest, which blew the trees around, making them rock back and forth at rapid paces.

"Woah!" The hammer swinger of team JNPR, Nora exclaimed. "I bet ya whoever did that is certainly going to be a great fight!"

"If that thing of light, even came from a person." Ren said, exceedingly suspicious. "It might be a weapon of some sorts that Torchwick or maybe the White Fang is trying out. There was audio, calling the blast of light...PK Flash alpha?"

"That sounds...familiar…" Ruby said, pondering on the thought. "I feel like I've heard that before. Maybe in a Movie...or a Video Game?"

"Don't be ridiculous." Wiess said, turning her head away. "Stuff from Video Games isn't real."

"Perhaps it's something being tested out by Atlas?" Glynda Goodwitch finally spoke up, looking at Professor Ozpin. "In that case, I don't think Ironwood would be grateful for poking around."

"Well, in any case, this happened very close to the School's perimeters." Ozpin finished. "If there are people there, there might be Grimm lurking around as well. As you all want to be Hunters and Huntresses, It'd be good training to go, just to investigate, make sure there is no...actual danger."

"And, what if there are people there?" Pyrrha asked. "What do we do with them?"

"I guess that'll depend on what their own goal is." Blake said, a sort of firm tone as she crossed her arms. "Because if it's the White Fang, we can only imagine what they're doing."

"Well if you all just had packaged burgers, why didn't you say so?!" Sapphire muttered, as Erick tossed him a burger wrapped in foil. "And here I was thinking I'd have to look for food and shit."

"We need a fire to stay warm though." Erick corrected, as the genius sat back down. "We don't know how cold this place could get in the thick of the night.

Moon remained relatively quiet as the four of them ate. Sarah and Erick discussed things from the past adventure with Sapphire, where they had been absent.

"Again, it's nothing too important…" Sapphire replied, swallowing the last bite of his burger. "It's not like you HAD to be there, all the relevant stuff you needed to know was already explained."

"Well, give me a break, I just want to know more about why you decided to even come with us." Erick replied, wiping his glasses a bit.

"It's not like I had much of a Purpose after we eliminated everyone and the Empire conquered Fódlan...plus...I didn't feel like leaving Moon quite yet."

"Well, we're glad to have you." Sarah said sweetly. "Anyone who'd help us out as much as you did is welcome here."

The three of them just sort of, sat around the fire in an awkward sort of silence after that.

"Is...something wrong Moon?" Sarah asked, nervously looking at him. "You've been...awfully quiet...around us at least."

"I haven't seen any creatures that feed off fear." Moon said in a low tone. "That was one of the main dangers Saint Cichol outlined for us."

"Well...if the whole point was creatures who feed off fear...wouldn't this be a Freddy Krueger-es scenario?" Erick asked quizzically. "After all, what is there for us to fear if we don't know what it even is? By the sound of it, the only reason they run so rampant is because people fear them so much? So if you didn't believe in them or know what they are, there wouldn't be a problem."

As if on cue, a giant black shadow casted over them. The four of them looked up to see a massive Raven looking creature soaring above them. From what they could see from the underside of the creature. It had some rock looking things on the front where it's beak and head would be, with some red looking markings, with claws and talons of similar proportions.

"Talk about a train of luck." Sarah muttered.

"Not...exactly." Erick said, his tone seemed fascinated at the sight of the creature. "Look at the thing's size! And the stone stuff? I guess years of evolution here have forced it to take more drastic measures for survival! Perhaps it has something to do with that broken moon?"

"Even more so...it doesn't seem to be dangerous." Sapphire observed after a few minutes of silence. "After all, if it was after us, you'd think it would've swooped down to nab us by now."

"GRIMM! GET IT!" Sudden shouting from what sounded like a teenage girl suddenly made the four of them stand up. Almost immediately they heard gunfire, followed what looked like a circular snowflake mural made of ice surrounding the Raven and blasting it. The raven creature let off a hiss as it suddenly eviscerated into nothingness.

"Well...talk about a lucky break." Moon chuckled, a sinister smile emerged on his face. "Perhaps those voices can give us some information."

"Just...let's try not to do anything stupid." Erick warned quickly, seeing Moon's smile. "First Impressions are everything."

"Alright, you've got the power sense thingy with your PSI." Sapphire said, pulling out Stalwart Terra. "Lead us to them."

"That...won't be necessary." Moon said calmly, "They're already here, so I'll stop pretending like they aren't."

All four of them turned their heads to find four teenage girls looking at them.

The first one was wearing a red and black outfit, apparently a cloak hood that made up her backside, a black cover shirt and what they could only assume was a large black skirt, held up by a silver waist sash with a silver rose and some bullets. She had the shortest hair length of all the girls, and appeared to be the youngest. She also had silver eyes.

Another girl was wearing what appeared to be a white and blue dress of somesorts. Like red, she had a sash around her waist that held some sort of custom makeshift Rapier sword. She had ice blue eyes and white hair, strung together by what looked like sewing pins or a tiara in a ponytail. Little snowflakes were all around the hem of her skirt.

The third girl had a colorish of black and purple hair, covered by a bow at the top in a very...strange position if you looked at it from a proper angle, and seemed like she was covering something up with it. She had yellow eyes and a black top with a white jacket that folded down to two flaps, her stomach was exposed slightly, but her black pants or leggings went all the way down, with a white belt on the front. She also appeared to be carrying some weird nunchucks...or...maybe they were batons? Hell if these four knew.

The final girl, who was leading the pact by the position, had golden hair like Sarah with lilac eyes. She wore a brown jacked that exposed a bit more than they were liking. Along with very short black shorts.

Moon didn't seem to be bothered by them, though his eyes looked downwards at Goldilocks' weird looking gauntlets that also appeared to be guns as well.

"Hey, buddy, eyes up here!" Goldilocks said teasingly.

"Uh oh." Erick muttered. As Moon's smile turned into a devilish grin once again.

"I can hear voices up ahead." Ruby said as her team, and team JNPR walked around the forest. "It might be the people who used that weird beacon of light!"

"In that case, maybe we should go inform Professor Goodwitch." Jaune said, nervously. "What if the enemy has an army?"

"How about, one of us runs up there and investigates!" Nora exclaimed, readying her hammer. "I guarantee that'll keep them distracted long enough."

"And get you killed." Ren interjected.

"Alright, how about, Ruby, Weiss, Blake and I go scout out, and be sneaky. Then, we give you a keyword, if we shout the keyword, then it's time for backup!"

"That sounds unnecessary...the enemy might be…"

"I Like that idea!" Ruby cheered over Weiss' counter. "No doubt that the Grimm we just shot down alerted them, so we should be sneaky!"

"Well, in that case, you should all be careful." Pyrrha said calmly. "Remember, we might need to bring these people to jail."

"Alright, team RWBY, let's go!" Yang charged forward.

"Great…" The three remaining teammates ran after Yang, then continued forward until the voices started to become more clear.

"Lead us to them." the four of them skidded to a halt as they went into a clearing, face with four kids, all three appeared to be around the age of 17ish.

"That...won't be necessary. They're already here, and I'll stop pretending that they aren't." the four of them turned around to face the four girls.

The only girl of the group had golden hair like Yang with a blue ribbon tied into it. She had ocean blue eyes and a somewhat peaceful look on herself. She wore a purple dress with a black sash around her waist that held what appeared to be a golden frying pan with a blue star.

One boy was wearing a greenish-brown suit that looked like a school uniform. There was a white undershirt beneath it, with pants that matched suit, and black shoes. He had raven black hair and hazel brown eyes covered by a pair of glasses. He had a belt that appeared to be carrying a laser gun of somesorts.

Another boy had sapphire blue hair and eyes. He also was wearing black attire, although there were distinctions of bright red all around his body, along with a crested double headed eagle on the front. He also wore heavy traveling boots and was carrying some weird axe that appeared to be made out of...bones and blood?

The last boy had blonde hair that was short, except for where it extended to cover his left eye. Leaving only his right blue eye exposed. He had clothing much more parallel to Ruby as well, wearing a blue cloak with a hood on top, black made up his attire below, even down to his tennis shoes, and his skin was slightly tanned. Behind his back that wasn't covered by the cloak, there was a blue bladed sword with an emerald hilt.

However, Yang quickly noticed his eyes were looking down at her gauntlets. Smirking a little, she decided to have a bit of fun.

"Hey, buddy, eyes up here!" she said, a playful sort of tease. The widened eyes of the Blue Ruby boy's friends told her she hit her mark.

That turned out to be a misjudgement though. The blond haired boy looked up at her with a devilish smile on his face.

"Sorry, you must've misunderstood me," he said. "I was only looking at your gauntlets, which, I'll continue doing, seeing as how they're the only part of you worth looking at!"

Her mouth dropped slightly, before her face turned into a glare. The nerve of this boy. "What did you say?!" She snapped.

"You know exactly what I said." the boy replied smugly. "Don't tease others with stuff like that, you'll never find a boyfriend if you do, Tomboy."

"Yang…" Ruby started.

"How dare you!" Yang punched her fists together and shot towards him. The blond boy simply turned to the side as she darted forward and missed her strike.

"Yeesh," he said, rather boredly. "Do women have no manners here? You want to make fun of me, I have every right to fire back. So, technically, this is self defense." he placed his palm on her back, and, after a moment, a blast of wind shot through the area and Yang went flying backwards. His friends ducked as she flew over them and collided with one of the blood red trees.

"Alright, so, Yang clearly isn't the brightest of your bunch." The blue haired boy said, looking at Yang from behind. "I guess thinking she's the leader was a mistake."

"Now, contrary to what I just did, I don't really want to hurt anyone." The blond boy said, turning back to Ruby as she, along with Weiss and Blake went to reach for their weapons. Something about the dead stare in his blue eyes was unsettling. "So, if you ladies would be so kind, how about you give us some directions."

"I think you may have made a lapse in your judgement, Moon." the Black Haired boy spoke up, his tone was rather irritable, probably from the actions of his friend. "How about we start over?"

"You just...what did you even do to my sister?!" Ruby asked.

"Oh, it shouldn't have killed her. Maybe a...mild concussion at best. But, in a fair case of court, it was self defense. But, my friend is right. So, how about we introduce ourselves first, before things get ugly at least. My name is Moon Wolfe." said the blond boy.

"That's Sarah, my...wife." he pointed at the only girl of his group, who gave them a rather uncomfortable smile, followed by a wave, noticing the girl's rather uncomfortable expressions he quickly added. "It's...a long story…"

"I'm Erick, Erick Andonuts" The black haired boy said. "And, as far as introductions go, this is the worst I've ever had."

"My name is Sapphire von Clypeus." The blue haired boy greeted, and he also bowed. "It is an honor to be in your presence."

"None of us are royalty though." Weiss said, rolling her eyes.

"Oh...it seems like I judged Snow White a bit too quickly." Moon smirked at them. "I would've thought that, given your more...fancy attire, that you would be the most important person of the group. Maybe a princess?"

"Knock it off Moon, before we really have a problem." Sarah said nervously.

"Well...you know my sister Yang...I suppose." Ruby said, looking at them, but not taking her hands off where her weapon was. "My name is Ruby, Ruby Rose…" a bit of a pause in her voice, something about Moon, Sarah, and Erick seemed...familiar. "I...have we met before?"

Moon raised an eyebrow. "I think I would've remembered someone like you."

"You...look familiar...you, Sarah, and Erick at least."

"I doubt it," Erick rubbed the back of his head. "Trust us...we definitely aren't from around here."

"Well, this is Weiss, and that's Blake." Ruby indicated to her two teammates as she watched Yang from behind all of them push herself back up. Her sister gave her a wink and she nodded her head in response. "So...what brings you around here? You know this place is dangerous right? I'm certain you saw that massive Grimm flying above you."

Instead of responding, Moon simply gave her another taunting smirk and turned to his side. Yang came flying forward and Ruby just barely ducked out of the way of her sister's strike.

"Nice try." he said smugly. "Now, are you girls really going to continue humiliating yourselves, or do you just want to throw in the towel? Again, we aren't trying to hurt anyone here."

"Trying to strike them isn't going to do much…" Weiss indicated to her leader. "So, how about we just do some talking, what does bring four outsiders like yourselves here?"

"Well, if you really want to know, we're here on business." Sapphire crossed his arms as he looked at each of them. "Do you happen to know anyone who goes by the name...Ozpin?"

All of team RWBY's eyes narrowed. "What do you need to do with Professor Ozpin?" Weiss asked. "If he was expecting you to show up, he wouldn't have sent us out here following the Flash Flare that was launched from this location."

"That part is...confidential." Sarah's tone had a bit of nervousness in it. "I hope you can understand that what we may be dealing with is far beyond...your...understanding."

"How do you know Professor Ozpin?" Blake asked. "Follow up, if you do know Professor Ozpin, why didn't you know he's headmaster at Beacon?"

"You guys are...really shit at detective work." Moon sighed, rolling his eyes. "You're just handing us the information we'd need anyway."

"Look, all we're trying to say…" Erick interrupted as Ruby opened her mouth with an angry stare. "All we're trying to say, is that we aren't here to cause any trouble for you, or for your headmaster. We just want to talk with Professor Ozpin. We need...help with something."

"Well...I guess we can take you to Professor Ozpin." Ruby said, shrugging a little.

"Are you crazy?" Yang snapped at her, "What if they try to kill him?"

"Yeesh," Moon rolled his eyes, what a wild imagination these girls had, he just said he wasn't trying to hurt anyone, and granted, if he truly wanted to kill Ozpin, he would've made quick work of these four, which, at the moment, didn't seem like a bad idea. "How old are you all anyway?"

"Except for Ruby, the three of us are 17." Weiss scoffed. "Which should make you all around the same age as us."

"Age...is...an irrelevant number, for us at least." Erick rubbed the back of his head.

"Well...I guess if you can follow us, we'll take you to Beacon." Ruby motioned for the four of them to follow her. Moon, however, held up his hand, stopping his friends.

"Did you...bring other people here?" he asked curiously. "As in, are there other people in the forest with you? Perhaps...waiting to ambush us?"

"No…" Blake spoke up. "Our friends on team JNPR were supposed to go back and warn Ozpin's assistant about something."

"Uh huh...Sapphire, Shockwave."

Nodding his head, Sapphire raised his axe over his head. It glowed a bit of an orangish color before he smashed it against the ground. A large rumble erupted as the ground stood up moving towards a bush, which promptly exploded

Four screams followed suit as the four girls watched Team JNPR come crashing to the ground, everyone on top of Jaune. Nora, Ren, and Jaune all grunted as Pyrrha slammed on top.

"I'm Sorry." Pyrrha said as she got off of all three.

"Wow…" Moon muttered. "You guys either have terrible communication skills, or are some of the most predictable people we've ever met."

"Don't be so harsh on us." Ren said calmly, as he brushed himself off. "We are first year hunters and huntresses in training."

"Hunters?" Sarah asked. "You...have to study to...hunt animals?"

"You...you don't know what Hunters are?" Weiss asked.

"We're from...very...very far out of town."

"Look...how about we just go see Professor Ozpin. Before we actually get into trouble." Sarah said, nervously. Indicating towards Moon's impatient stare.

"Well, you'll have to deposit all your weapons and bags. For...safety purposes."

"Uh...nobody is going...to touch these right?" Moon asked, Ruby noted that his grip on his sword tightened a little.

"Uh...maybe they'll go through your bags...but if your weapons have that sentimental value, we could mention it to someone and they'll just ask you to leave them outside his office."

"Well, let's not waste anymore time."

The two teams looked amongst the four traveling bags each of the four kids were carrying with them upon their return to Beacon. They had reported them to Professor Goodwitch, who had taken them to see Ozpin, after removing their belongings on them.

"So...who's going to open one first?" Nora asked excitedly.

"What are you, ten?!" Weiss scoffed. "Who knows what those four could be carrying on them! What if they have a bomb?!"

"It most certainly would've been flagged upon entering here." Ren replied. "Even then, Weiss has a point, these are their private belongings."

"Forget the bags, look at their weapons!" Ruby excitedly stared at the four weapons that were put into a locker with their respective bags. "The Axe and the Sword! They look so cool! I wonder what special effects they have?"

"In all honesty, these weapons don't seem all that modified. They seem more...basic...like Jaune's." Pyrrha examined the golden frying pan more closely. "I can't find any markings that would link it to a designer...or maybe a family…"

"So why would they not want anyone touching them?" Blake asked.

"Who cares, these four are probably out of their minds anyway." Yang crossed her arms and blew a bit of hair out of her face. "They probably got lost on travels and need directions."

"Awe, is someone mad that they got outsmarted by a boy?" Ruby teased her older sister.

"I didn't get outsmarted." Yang snapped back. "He's so weird...that blast of force drained my aura and nearly broke it one hit!"

"Uh...guys?"

"If he could get rid of aura in one hit, he could be quite dangerous. I've never heard of someone having enough power to do such a thing." Weiss crossed her arms at the thought.

"Guys?"

"The Grimm also was hovering above them, but it never attacked them...what was up with that? Grimm aren't exactly...friendly."

"GUYS!"

"What Jaune?!" Weiss snapped. "Can't you see we're trying to figure out something?!"

The blond leader of team JNPR pointed at the traveling bag that was held by Sarah, inside of the bag, you could see a bit of movement and some shaking.

The eight hunters-in-training looked at it curiously.

"AllinfavorofsendingYangtoopenthebag says I!" Ruby said quickly.

"I!" Everyone said before Yang could even react.

Ruby's sister growled, before sighing and inching her way towards the purple bag.

Moon, Sarah, Erick, and Sapphire all exited the elevator that took them up to the headmaster's office, and, Moon instantly took a disliking to the man behind the table.

The man was somewhat old, he had silver hair, brown eyes covered by shaded glasses and a pale white skin tone. He wore an unzipped black suit over a buttoned vest and green shirt with long, dark green pants and a silver cane held in his hands. His other hand held a coffee mug which was imprinted with Beacon Academy.

That wasn't the issue Moon had with him, unlike with Glynda, and even Teams RWBY and JNPR. The man seemed to hold a lot more power than he necessarily should have. Aura, as Glynda had described it to them. His aura felt as though he'd been alive for...hundreds...no, thousands of years.

In any event Ozpin smiled at them as he set down his coffee mug.

"Good evening." he said, his tone was calm...to calm. "No need for formal name introductions, Glynda already informed me of your names and status."

"And...I assume that you have questions?" Sarah asked.

"Plenty," Ozpin's face turned more into a neutral expression, he pulled out what looked like a weird Iphone and tapped it around, a giant holograph contributing to Palutena's world tracker pulled up showing clips of green blast of light. And Yang's two attacks on Moon.

"Earlier this evening, we saw your blast of light emerge from the forest. I believe that you called it...PK Flash alpha?" Ozpin said calmly. "And, as I'm sure you can see here," he zoomed in on Moon's palm as he blasted Yang. "You would use this same energy, or something similar to it at least...to attack a Huntress."

"And your question?" Moon asked boredly.

"What is this...PK Flash?" Ozpin asked.

"It's…" Erick looked at Moon, who simply shrugged at him.

"Alright," Erick said. "PK Flash is one of many different ancient powers from our world in a place throughout the Multiverse of Clusters, collectively known as PSI Powers."

"So...you're all psychics?" Ozpin asked.

"Well...Sarah and Moon are." Sapphire spoke up.

"You mentioned that Flash is one of many…" Ozpin said. "What other powers are there?"

"Telekinesis, Telepathy, Teleportation, Cyrokinesis, Pyrokinesis, Electrokinesis, Photokinesis, Strength Enhancing, Speed Enhancing, Defense Enhancing, Mind Control, Precognition, Clairvoyance, Healing, Power draining, Geokinesis, Hydrokinesis, Power Sensing, Levitation, Shielding and Reflecting damage, Paralysis, Poison, Hypnosis, and Brainshock." Erick said. "And...that's about all we know of at the moment...there could be more."

Moon's eyes narrowed as Ozpin simply took a sip from his coffee mug. He didn't seem all that surprised by that.

"So...these PSI Powers sound an awful lot like semblances." he said calmly. "In our world, every child is born with a special semblance, that gives them a special ability. For example, Miss Rose has a semblance that allows her to move around at swift speeds leaving rose petals in its place. Her sister Yang gets stronger the angrier she gets. Miss Nickos is able to control Polarity. So on and So forth."

"Yeah...only...Sarah and I can do just about all of them at once." Moon replied.

A sudden alarm suddenly went off as a monitor came up on Ozpin's screen, showing Glynda, followed by what looked like a bunch of students running around in a panicked motion.

"I'm sorry to bother you Professor Ozpin, but...I was informed by students that there's a strange creature running around the halls. The student's are convinced it's a Grimm...but...I'm not so sure."

"Impossible," Ozpin said simply. "A Grimm getting in here should've been…" the elevator door dinged, and all their heads turned towards it. A small creature that looked no more than a foot tall walked into the room, it had a horseshoe round body and a big nose with no nostrils. It had four whiskers along the side and a green bow tied into one strand of hair. It also had bright blue eyes. He looked at the four kids in his room, who all looked at the creature with widened eyes.

"I believe the situation has been resolved, it appears our friends know this creature. It's friendly." he said calmly.

"Understood," the screen hung up.

"Ast...Astro?!" Sarah sputtered. "H...How...how did you…"

"WEEEEE!" Astro walked up to them, his feet making the farting noises as he walked. "I jump into Momma Sarah's bag, Zoom! I follow her and Father Moon through big portal to come here!"

"This...thing of yours...you call it Astro?" Ozpin asked.

"It's a Mr. Saturn, they're a species of creatures from our Universe." Sarah said quickly, scooping the creature into her arms. "I'm...I'm so...so sorry."

"As long as he didn't break anything, we're all good. Now, back up and tell me about these other Universes, in this...supposed Multiverse."

Moon's friends all looked at him, he let out a reluctant sigh and sat down in front of Ozpin's desk. Ozpin gave him a calm smile, which only made his eyes narrow even more.

"Alright," he said, his tone was firm. "What I'm going to tell you, cannot be told to anyone. Not even those who trust you the most."

"I'm not sure I can do such a thing," Ozpin said.

"Can it, certainly a headmaster such as yourself would have secrets to hide? You're already in a heap of trouble anyway." Moon snarled.

"Quite harsh." Ozpin replied to him. "How about you talk more calmly, explain how I'm in trouble. It's quite rare for me to find myself in a situation like that."

Moon frowned. "Basically, outside of your world, there exists an entire Multiverse full of people with numerous different powers. Ranging from Gods to God Killers and simple everyday people. Each Multiverse is divided into a series of sub-multiverses of similar properties called Clusters. The heads of these Multiverses created a governmental council used to keep the Multiverse and their timelines stable. I think it's important for you to know that I'm the head of the Multiversal council. Our job is to monitor timelines, and keep the Multiverse at peace"

"So, is our timeline in danger?"

"No, but, your cluster-world was discovered recently, but strangely it's about as old as the rest of the clusters. I don't think I need to explain how suspicious it looks for an undiscovered world as old as the rest of the clusters to come out of nowhere? New worlds that develop are always caught beforehand, but, it seemed as though there was a...magical...force blocking your world from being discovered."

"And you believe I have something to do with this?" Ozpin crossed his arms as he leaned back in his office chair.

"No...however, I stumbled across a list of names, pretty standard names, listing stronger entities watched by the council. However, your name was on there, one that we couldn't recognize."

"And you believe that, in a Multiverse of infinite possibilities, that there could only be ONE evil person named Ozpin?" The headmaster seemed amused.

"Well, data extraction from every world showed no names of Ozpin." Moon replied, his eyes narrowed. "Your world was then discovered, and...wouldn't you know it, there happened to be a name of Ozpin here."

Ozpin took another sip from his coffee mug. "Well, you and your friends are more than welcome to look around, top to bottom, ask the students, or anyone in our fine kingdom. But I can assure you that there is no reason for your government to call in a Multiversal army to take me down."

Moon snorted. "You seem to be taking this concept of a Multiversal council filled with things beyond your comprehension a bit...too well."

"I have been around for a long time." Ozpin replied calmly, folding his arms. "We have anomalies here that I'm certain would stun you as well. Ones that people such as yourself may find shocking. So the concept of more existing out there doesn't surprise me at all."

"Could you...give us an example?" Erick asked, sensing his friend's irritation. "That black Raven we saw, your students call it a Grimm?"

"Grimm are creatures that are attracted to human fear." Ozpin replied. "We train Hunters and Huntresses to fight off the growing threat of Grimm invasions, large swarms are unpredictable. However, I think a personal better example would be Faunus.

"Faunus?" Sarah asked.

"In our world, there exist a group of humans who are born with animal traits." Ozpin replied with a smile. "Perhaps you've met people like this in your Multiversal travels if you've taken any...however, these people may have Animal Ears, Tails, or Claws. One of our students, Velvet, is one. They can gain enhanced hearing or night vision based on these traits. Or perhaps, support their body weight on a tree with a tail. Unfortunately..."

"Let me take a wild fucking guess." Sapphire replied, rolling his eyes. "These people are considered freaks and there is racism everywhere!"

"Yes...it seems that even in the far Multiverse, racism still exists." Ozpin replied. "And, if you don't mind, tolerate your language."

"Like hell," Erick muttered. "This isn't the real show."

"What was that?" Ozpin asked.

"Nothing, now, there is a matter we still need to discuss." Moon replied, crossing his arms. "While I don't have any substantial proof, it's evident that someone, or something, wanted to keep your world hidden. Whether it's you, or a student here, or some other person, I care not."

"Could you back up a moment." Moon's glare intensified even more at Ozpin's interruption.

"Apart from Sapphire, you all...don't look that much older than Ruby is." Ozpin said, peering over his glasses. "How does a child hold more power in a Multiversal Council that has gods and lords only knows what else. Wouldn't the council have more trust in say...an actual god?"

"Well...I'm the council. The council just simply...exists to guide me." Moon replied.

"So...the multiverse is ruled by an iron-fisted child dictator?"

"Listen, you can talk about it all you want. The Multiverse was a lot less stable before I swooped in and revolted."

"Hmmm…" Ozpin took another sip from his coffee mug. "Very well, now what matters of business do you need to discuss?"

"Well, because we have reason to believe that someone is tampering with the Multiverse, we'll have to launch an investigation, get familiar with your world and how it works. Make sure there's no one here that could be a...threat...to us."

"Well then, you could hang around here, learn our culture and whatever else you need for your research, I can assure you there is nothing here that could possibly be a threat to your Multiversal Government."

Moon's eyes narrowed. "No massive Supervillain? No Terrorists? No Criminal Organization? No...Legion of Doom? In a world threatened by creatures that feed off fear, that seems unlikely."

"Well...we have a terrorist group of Faunus called the White Fang. But...our authorities and Hunters do a good enough job. Nothing worth sending in something really big."

"Zoom! Old Man Crazy." Astro honked. Ozpin chuckled a little as Sarah's face went bright red.

"Well...if that's all you have to offer, then we'll take you up on it." Moon replied. "Just one last thing...how old are you?"

"Hmmm." Ozpin seemed to ponder on that thought. "Well...if you couldn't tell, quite old."

Moon nodded his head in suspicion as he motioned for his friends to follow him to the elevator, his friends thanked Ozpin and followed after him. Leaving the man to sit in thought. "Well." Thought Ozpin. "These four may have more than what I've anticipated."

As the elevator moved down, the four of them waited in anticipation. Then, a short circuit from one of the cameras told them they could speak.

"So, your thoughts?" Sapphire asked, noting Moon's irritated stare. "I assume that if you used your power radiation to short circuit the cameras that this is urgent."

"He's shady." Moon growled. "He seems to be too good at avoiding any sort of topical debate. And he's been prepared on telepathy, even before we mentioned it, I couldn't read his mind for shit. Perfectly blocked."

Sarah only reluctantly nodded her head as Astro made little humming noises in her arms. "So...what exactly are we going to do?" she asked.

Moon's devilish smirk emerged on his face. "Well, there was one power I have that we just so happened to conveniently forget about. But...let's ignore that and focus on finding information."

"Well, given that this is a school, any information we may find of use to lead us to Salem would most likely be censored to hell and back." Erick muttered. "Ozpin seems to be well loved here, you heard what those girls said when we simply wanted to talk to him."

"In any event…" Moon cracked his head as he tilted it to the side. "Team RWBY and Team JNPR seem like they'll be the most relevant people on Ozpin's Radar. Even if he assessed us as just a 'Minor Threat.' based solely off of two beacons of light. I doubt he'd really give 2 teams of first year students with minimal combat experience and lackluster teamwork the job to track us down. Not unless he wanted some fucking lawsuits that is."

"So, get in good with the girls and those two boys?" Sapphire asked. "Might be a bit difficult to do that with Yang, considering, well..."

"Goldilocks is the least of my concerns." Moon muttered. "For now, let's just get to know the two Teams that Ozpin seems to put a lot faith in, see if we can dig up any dirt about them."

"And...what's our stance on racism here...against those Faunus?" Sarah asked.

"We'll cross that bridge when we get there, probably in the next chapter."

Moon sighed as he blew his blond hair out of his face, revealing his large triple scar across his silver eye. "We haven't been here a day, and I already hate this place." he sighed.

That's all for this chapter, I hope you all enjoyed it.

Mixing RWBY and EarthBound's sense of humor, with fourth wall breaks and weird wacky foreshadow humor will be fun, and it's part of the reason why I wanted to cross these two over. Surprising to see that their are only two crossovers for this here on FFN, but I suppose with EarthBound being as small as it is...it makes sense.

This story has followed with my Team MESS entering Beacon Academy in the middle of Volume 1 (After RWBY and Co have gotten to know each other...but before any actual stuff starts). So next chapter will start the trends I hope to set up for this series. Things like Confidant Bonds, and getting to see more of everyone interacting with one another. Though, I guess this chapter will give you a pretty good idea as to how my OCs feel about this mess.

Oh yeah, we have a Mr. Saturn sticking around as well, huh? I don't how long I'll keep Astro here, as I've established that Team MESS can be pulled out at any time. But I thought it'd be cute to give them their own little mascot.

Well, I'm currently at the beach, and this should be out on Saturday the 15th if everything goes as planned.

As always, if you have any thoughts or suggestion, I'm all ears.

See you all, next time!
