Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug, Cat Noir and Angel Cuervo

In the world of legends, Ladybug and Cat Noir's legends pale in comparison to the ancient Native American legend of the crow. Now that the eldest son of a police officer was murdered, the crow is ready to make his move against his charge's murderers. Will Angel Cuervo succeed, or will threats like Hawk Moth interfere? Rated T for violence and death. Adrien salt and redemption.

2. Ladybug and Cat Noir meet Angel Cuervo

Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug, Cat Noir and Angel Cuervo.

Chapter 2: Ladybug and Cat Noir meet Angel Cuervo.

(Author's notes: This is it. Angel Cuervo's first encounter with Ladybug and Cat Noir. Will things be bloody, or will things start looking up for the three heroes despite their differing views on justice and revenge? We'll find out soon enough.

Additionally, in this chapter, Marinette will have an older brother by the name of Anthony Dupain-Cheng, who wields a clone of the Ladybug Miraculous and takes on the mantle of Mister Bug. Same with Adrien having an older sister by the name of Gina Agreste, who wields a clone of the Black Cat Miraculous and takes on the identity of Lady Noire. The reason for that is because, in this story, Tikki and Plagg have the ability to clone their Miraculouses and themselves. Their clone's names are Fuurr and Shheell. The reason why Tikki and Plagg can clone themselves and their Miraculouses is because, as it turns out, all kwamis have the ability to clone themselves and their Miraculouses for multiple owners who have siblings that want to join them on the battlefield.

Also, remember how in The Crow: Stairway To Heaven, any villain murdered by Eric Draven and Hannah Foster is resurrected by a snake, Top Dollar excluded? Well, none of that is happening in this story. This story is centered on the Crow film series merged with Miraculous: Tales Of Ladybug And Cat Noir, but not the original comic books of The Crow, and not The Crow: Stairway To Heaven.

Next-to-last, in this chapter, there'll be Adrien salt and redemption. Why? Because he was one of my favorite characters before the Chameleon episode, and I like how he's portrayed in many fanfiction stories. Most especially salt and bashing stories where Adrien suffers the consequences for his actions. Whether or not they're because of his sheltered life is not relevant to me. Also, because even if Adrien doesn't learn the consequences for his actions in the cartoon's future – such as taking the high road with Lila Rossi's lies and making a deal with the devil in the Sentimonster Ladybug episode – Adrien is still "adorkable."

And last, but not least, a small disclaimer: I don't own anything about The Crow or Miraculous Ladybug except for my original characters and their armor designs.

(Paris, France, the Eiffel Tower, April thirtieth, 2015, third person POV...)

Angel Cuervo teleports himself to the top of the Eiffel Tower.

He set up a trap for Cat Noir just in case he tried anything, based on his visions of the future.

At the same time, his visions of the future revealed that Bartolo Albareda was gonna be there in a riot police uniform and will try to tase him to death.

In preparation for if his traps fail, Angel Cuervo studied Cat Noir's fighting style from clips of him fighting Akumatized villains and added rubber insulation, windproof materials, waterproof materials, weatherproof materials and fireproof materials and metals to his entire suit of armor to protect his armor and himself from electricity-based attacks and the elements.

At the same time, in case of any supervillain fights leading to outer space, Angel Cuervo made sure to forge for himself an added helmet that provides unlimited breathable air.

After that was done, Angel Cuervo stood atop the Eiffel Tower, gazing out at the city below the tower while subsequently noticing that it was approximately ten in the evening.

Of course, his enhanced superhuman extra-sensory perception and his eyesight connection to Black Feather told him that Ladybug, her older brother Mister Bug, Cat Noir and his older sister, Lady Noire, were on their way and they already saw him on the top of the tower.

So, Angel Cuervo did the next best thing: he teleported out of there just before Ladybug's magical armored techno-organic wings started buzzing to signify her arrival.

Once Ladybug landed, she looked all around her surroundings in confusion to see no one there.

Her brother, Mister Bug, lands next to her and retracts his wings.

Ladybug grumbles out loud, "Where could The Crow be? I have to talk to him about finding a compromise of our respective goals."

Having heard this, Angel Cuervo hovers behind Ladybug and Mister Bug. Angel Cuervo's fully armored metallic mechanical wings were flapping rhythmically with his shoulder blades moving up and down, in addition to his breathing.

The sound of Angel Cuervo's wings flapping behind her causes Ladybug and Mister Bug to turn around and look up.

Ladybug activates her wings and flies up to Angel Cuervo's level.

Ladybug asks, "Are you the new Crow?"

Angel Cuervo replies, "Si. But you may call me Angel Cuervo."

Ladybug raises an eyebrow in confusion, causing Angel Cuervo to clarify, "Cuervo is Spanish for crow."

Ladybug hums in curiosity.

Angel Cuervo takes a good look at Ladybug's appearance.

She is wearing a ladybug-patterned suit of armor arranged like all versions of a suit of knight armor, different styles of motorcycle armor, and different types of military armor. In addition to that, she had ladybug patterned boots that look like a combination of knight shoes and combat boots. She was also wearing a helmet that combines her domino mask, her Cosmo Bug face mask and her Cosmo Bug helmet. At the same time, she had magical armored techno-organic ladybug wings on her armored back. They looked like a combination of Cosmo Bug's wings, the wings on the Flutter Ladybug toy, and the removable wings from another Ladybug toy. Except that these wings are retractable. Lastly, Ladybug's hair was a combination of black, blue, pink and light platinum blue.

Mister Bug, on the other hand, looks like his sister, except that his entire armored outfit and wings look like the male version of Ladybug's appearance.

Just then, Cat Noir and Lady Noire perch next to the two fliers via the top of the tower restaurant.

Cat Noir was wearing an armored version of his suit and a pair of boots in the same style as Ladybug and Mister Bug's examples, and a helmet looking like his domino mask, his Astro Cat face mask, and his Astro Cat helmet. At the same time, he had magical armored techno-organic bat wings on his armored back. They looked like a combination of Astro Cat's wings and the wings on the Cat Noir Battle Wings toy. His hair happened to be black, green, blond and platinum blond.

Lady Noire, on the other hand, looked like a female version of her brother's appearance, if only a little taller by three inches.

Cat Noir quips, "Fancy meeting a cuervo here."

Angel Cuervo chuckles, "Heh. Fancy meeting two negro gatos."

Ladybug, Mister Bug, Lady Noire and Cat Noir raise an eyebrow in unison, and Angel Cuervo replies, "Negro gatos mean black cats in Spanish. Seriously, you guys need to learn Spanish in case your battles against Hawk Moth lead you to either Mexico, Spain or Puerto Rico."

Ladybug, Mister Bug, Lady Noire and Cat Noir looked at each other before looking back at Angel Cuervo.

Ladybug asks, "Angel Cuervo, are you aware that the police are gonna try to investigate your actions?"

Angel Cuervo responds, "Oh, I'm aware. But the thing is I'm smarter than I look."

Lady Noire asks, "Well, are you actually going after the corrupt cops that escaped Le Santé Prison?"

Angel Cuervo replies, "Si. They were the ones responsible for making me the man I am tonight. Their leader murdered me and my brother on Easter Sunday of all days. Easter Sunday was supposed to be a day of joy and remembrance of Jesus Christ rising from the dead in the angelic sense. But once I find that asesino and his amigos, they're f****** dead meat."

Cat Noir states, readying his staff, "Well, either way, I'm afraid we can't let you kill any more criminals or corrupt cops."

Ladybug and Mister Bug look at their partner incredulously, while Lady Noire looks ready to discipline her brother as Angel Cuervo growls menacingly.

Ladybug exclaims, "Cat Noir, have you lost your mind?! Angel Cuervo is extremely powerful for even Hawk Moth to handle!"

Angel Cuervo nods, adding in his two cents.

Cat Noir takes out his staff as he replies, "That may be so, but I'm certain he doesn't know how to fight. And if you guys aren't gonna help me, then I'll make sure to take your Miraculouses and hand them over to true superheroes."

Cat Noir flies forward and swings his staff downwards, only for Angel Cuervo to outright grab it, disarm the black cat hero and restrain him with glowing golden-white angelic chains.

Struggling, Cat Noir angrily calls out, "Cataclysm!"

Suddenly, Cat Noir feels his power cancel itself out without turning on his transformation timer.

Cat Noir asks incredulously, "What the hell?! What the hell is this?!"

Angel Cuervo answers smugly, "Angelic chains, mate. Forged by God's finest heavenly craftsmen, capable of canceling out magic power without harming the user. Now will you listen?"

Cat Noir grumbles before stating, "All right. We'll talk."

Of course, Cat Noir remained blissfully unaware that Ladybug posted a video of Cat Noir's humiliation on the internet.

Everyone else except for Angel Cuervo was unaware that Cat Noir was lying.

At the same time, the four heroes – minus Angel Cuervo – were all unaware of Alya Cesaire live streaming the whole thing onto her Ladyblog, as well as Lieutenant Roger Raincomprix and his men getting ready to ambush Angel Cuervo at Cat Noir's behest.

Angel Cuervo explains thoroughly, "Now, while I don't deny that it's morally wrong to murder criminals and supervillains alike, but the fact remains that when I was resurrected by my crow guide, I was given my powers and my armor to help me in my mission to get revenge. If anyone gets in my way, I have no choice but to fight the interference. Whether its additional criminals and supervillains or police officers, it matters not. If I choose not to complete my mission, I will be stripped of my powers and my armor. That in itself will result in me being forcefully laid back to rest as my body rots and decomposes. If I were to do tasks not related to my mission without being told to do so, especially if my mission is completed, I will be damned to stay on Earth forever. In addition to that, I'm heavily trained on how to fight to the point where not even Lucifer himself would dare to challenge me. But, on the bright side, once I complete my mission for revenge, I won't need to kill any more bad people anymore."

The eavesdropping officers get their tasers ready, unaware that Angel Cuervo had sprung a trap for them all.

Angel Cuervo states in his thoughts, "Knowing Ladybug, Mister Bug, Lady Noire and Cat Noir, one of them is gonna do the exact opposite of what their kwamis told them to do in regards to finding a compromise with our respective goals. I'd better not underestimate either of them or all four of them."

With a simple quiet step behind him letting him know about a police officer armed with a taser, Angel Cuervo uses his super speed, accelerated perception and his enhanced superhuman ability to sense danger to get Cat Noir tased instead.

Ladybug looks horrified at what had just happened, especially since that taser was set on kill.

Angel Cuervo stated, "Aha! I knew it was you, Bartolo Albareda!"

Lieutenant Raincomprix stares at the named officer as he removes his riot helmet.

Bartolo remarked, "You'll never be able to stop Senor Moreno, ese!"

Angel Cuervo snarls as he brings out a sawed-off shotgun and a knight's broadsword.

The officers got out of the way as Angel Cuervo and Bartolo Albareda started to fight.

Bartolo didn't stand a chance due to Angel Cuervo's numerous powers and his newfound combat experience.

In the end, Bartolo's riot armor was no match for Angel Cuervo's superior weapons and superior armor.

Once Angel Cuervo got the upper hand, he stuck multiple knives in Bartolo's major organs in alphabetical order and then slit Bartolo's throat with a combat knife.

Everyone was horrified at the sight, including Lieutenant Raincomprix, as he now understood the necessity of Angel Cuervo's mission.

Once Cat Noir was released from his chains, Angel Cuervo used his angelic aura to revive the black cat hero from certain death.

Once Cat Noir woke up, he tried to attack Angel Cuervo, only to be blasted off the Eiffel Tower with a simple electric feather shockwave blast.

Angel Cuervo approached Lieutenant Raincomprix and said, "I'm sorry you had to see all that. But it was necessary."

Lieutenant Raincomprix stared at Angel Cuervo as he took off in his crow form, flying away from the Eiffel Tower on his route to his headquarters.

As soon as Ladybug, Mister Bug and Lady Noire fly away, Cat Noir looks around and screams in fury before flying off as well.

Lieutenant Raincomprix whispers to himself, "Augustin Abrigo?"

Lieutenant Raincomprix leaves while his men take the corpse of Bartolo Albareda with them to the morgue.

Meanwhile, Ladybug, Mister Bug and Lady Noire scolded Cat Noir very harshly for what he did, even after his protests about whether or not Angel Cuervo's goals are beneficial.

The end result of that protest was Lady Noire slapping her little brother in the face while snarling, "How f****** dare you?! Angel Cuervo kills his killers because its his mission. And you saying that you're gonna take our Miraculouses has just proven how disgraceful to the Agreste family you really are! Besides, Bartolo was one of the associates of Amilcar Moreno. Amilcar Moreno was the murderer of Augustin Abrigo and his brother. Therefore, ANGEL CUERVO WAS AUGUSTIN ABRIGO!"

Cat Noir's jaw hung in shock as he collapsed to his knees in shame.

Soon, Cat Noir started weeping, now fully ashamed of what he said and what he did.

Lady Noire puts her clawed hand on her brother's right shoulder pad as she said, "Bro. I'm sorry, but we had to knock you down a few pegs. Besides, your senses of vigilantism, justice and revenge are skewed."

Cat Noir stood up on shaky legs and hugged his older sister, tearfully meowing like a sad cat.

Lady Noire hugged her little brother tenderly, both of them purring loudly.

Ladybug and Mister Bug had to bear in mind that the Black Cat Miraculous affects the user and makes them act like actual cats in certain circumstances.

Once Cat Noir and Lady Noire broke the hug, the four heroes took off in flight to their respective homes.

Once Cat Noir and Lady Noire made it home, the two black cat heroes detransformed, only for Plagg and his clone/sister to slap Adrien in the face really hard.

Adrien remarked regretfully, "Yeah, I deserved that."

Plagg snarled, "I told you that the new Crow was an extremely powerful combatant and that we shouldn't get in his way! But as usual, you never listen, kid! Now, we could easily become Angel Cuervo's enemy if tonight's encounter was anything to go by!"

After another five minutes of scolding, lecturing about hearing both sides of the story and not jumping to conclusion, among other things Adrien had to memorize, Adrien and Gina went to bed after showering and recharging their kwamis.

The next day, May the first, Angel Cuervo struck again.

This time, he found Amilcar's lieutenant, Bonito Aznar, at a back alley of one of the buildings in the third Arrondisment.

Thankfully, that back alley has yet to have CCTV installed.

In short, Angel Cuervo murdered Bonito the same way Funboy was murdered, but with some differences: Bonito was shot five times with silenced shots, stabbed multiple times with an incision knife, and forcefully overdosed on morphine, with a symbol of a crow traced on his chest with his own blood.

There was no way Bonito was gonna survive.

Once Angel Cuervo was done, he took off in his crow form, cawing loudly as he had practice.

Once Ladybug, Mister Bug, Lady Noire and Cat Noir arrived on the scene, they saw Bonito's body being carted off.

Of course, Lieutenant Raincomprix couldn't resist trying to persuade the reporters that whoever was cleaning up the streets of the escaped corrupt cops wanted to remain anonymous for everyone's own good.

Of course, the reporters were getting more and more persistent, causing Angel Cuervo to call upon a murder of crows and crow clones to scare the reporters away.

The reporters started running away, allowing Angel Cuervo to fly away in his crow form undetected.

Later that night, Cat Noir apologized to Angel Cuervo sincerely.

In terms of Angel Cuervo's response, he used a laser pointer to mess with Cat Noir.

Seeing as how the Black Cat Miraculous makes Adrien Agreste act a tad more like an actual cat whenever he's transformed, he couldn't resist chasing after the red dot that most cats can't resist chasing after.

Of course, Ladybug and Mister Bug couldn't resist using another laser pointer to play with Lady Noire.

At the end of that day, the five heroes forged a new five-way friendship as they reached a compromise of sorts.

Meanwhile, in Hawk Moth's lair, the villain of Paris was surprised to say the least when he learned that Angel Cuervo was now all buddy-buddy with Ladybug, Mister Bug, Lady Noire and Cat Noir.

But Hawk Moth wasn't gonna let that stop him.

Once he finds out who Angel Cuervo is, as Hawk Moth theorized, it could be easier for him to Akumatize the crow-themed avenger.

Of course, it would only be a matter of time before Angel Cuervo proves him wrong.

The next night, Angel Cuervo was approached by the Skull Cowboy.

Skull Cowboy stated, "Angel Cuervo, I see you have forged a new partnership with the Heroes of Paris."

Angel Cuervo said in response, "Let me guess: you are the Skull Cowboy."

Skull Cowboy remarked, "So, you've heard of me. Good. That'll make things easier."

Angel Cuervo asks, "What can I do for you?"

Skull Cowboy replies, "What I would like to do is be your mentor. I have some ground rules for your mission, but I'm pretty sure you're already familiar with them."

Angel Cuervo states, "Yes, I most certainly am familiar with the ground rules."

Skull Cowboy declared quickly, "But don't worry, if you choose to save innocent lives, I won't stop you. Just so you know, whenever you save someone, your powers get stronger by five percent."

Angel Cuervo smiled behind his helmet and mask.

Skull Cowboy then states, "I must be off now. But should you ever need me, I will be there for you. But remember, Hawk Moth will try to Akumatize you. Be careful."

Angel Cuervo replies, "I am worried about Hawk Moth, but I won't let him stop me. Even if he Akumatizes me, my angelic magic will give me the strength I need to disobey Hawk Moth and be able to keep my powers without him being able to revoke his intended Akuma for me."

Skull Cowboy disappears from sight at the remark, immensely satisfied.

(Author's notes: That's right! Skull Cowboy is here, ladies and gentlemen! However, just like I previously said, Skull Cowboy will be slightly different from his omitted movie counterpart.

Additionally, I'm still in the middle of coming up with something for the third chapter. Maybe I'll feature something along the lines of Lila Rossi/Volpina/Chameleon/Possible Hawk Moth number 2 being exposed many days earlier than what was intended for the future of the chronological cartoon. Who knows?
