so I know I said I don't do angst, but it's gonna be really light, not supper depressing and it has a cute and fluffy moment with a happy ending. I'm kinda stressed right now so I felt this would be a good positive outlet and I wanted to write this while the inspiration was still fresh! So yeah! This ones really short but cute so enjoy!

(Y/N) slowly walked the forest path. It was incredibly late, even for a summer night like this, one where anyone would still be up no matter what the hour. Either way, she was heading back to her small, secluded home from being in the village tavern.

As she walked quietly, lost in her own thoughts of the day's events and what the next might hold, an incredible tremor shook the ground.

BOOM!

Light flashed dramatically through the trees as something ginormous exploded not too far from where the girl stood, the wave of heat washing over her in a startling amount.

And on top of that, the explosion was followed by a thunderous roar that rung in (Y/N)'s ears despite her efforts to cover them.

"Holy crap!" She cried, startled and scared at first but the curiosity burning within her driving her to figure out what had been the source of such a powerful and sudden outburst! They roar sounded pained and she hoped to possibly help whatever it was.

Stumbling forward through the dark undergrowth of the woods she came up to a clearing where a giant form lay, shaking and heaving ever so slightly, a smaller yet still incredibly large crater smoked from beside it.

Timid now, (Y/N) crept forward enough to make out what it was that she was looking at...

A giant...

She couldn't believe it! A real life giant! It truly was a site to behold! The giant lay in a collapsed heap in the clearing on the grass, she couldn't quite tell what it was doing, but she was able to see that it was a guy with ash-blonde hair and a rather muscular build.

Fascinated, terrified, and in awe all at the same time, she stayed to the bushes, trying to study its face better, and that's when she noticed the tear stains that ran down his cheeks.

When the image clicked, she was able to notice a number of other things, like the faint sobs that escaped its lips, and overall just the torn and distraught state he was in...

It was heart breaking to watch... and despite the terror at her own idea, (Y/N) slowly made her way into the clearing, determined to help this poor giant to at least some extant...

Bakugo lay face down in a clearing in the woods. He was a good distance from any major town, save the tiny human village only a mile or two from where he was now.

But it didn't matter where he was, he was upset, and no one would be able to catch him in this rare moment and that's all he cared about.

What had happened that had torn him up so much he had to outwardly let it out? Tch- like he'd tell you, or anyone for that matter! It's not like people back in giant country were causing him stress, it's not like life in general just seemed to be turning sour!... maybe it was, he didn't want to go into details but things for the past month had been super taxing and difficult, not to mention a number of past traumas that he had shoved down seemed to be catching up to him. But Bakugo wouldn't admit it out loud.

As he sobbed, and cried, and just let it out, he felt something tiny tenderly touch his cheek, not once, but twice.

His blood red eyes snapped open and he turned his head slightly to the side swiftly to see what it was.

Sitting on the grass with an expression of startled terror was an itty bitty human girl, only a little bigger than his hand. She must've fallen over when he turned to look at her.

He hardened his expression and turned away, embarrassed he had been caught in the middle of his tantrum. He didn't want anyone to see him like this, they'd think he's weak.

As he refused to look at the girl, he felt something wrap around his finger. "There There..." her soft and caring voice whispered, as she pretty much gave his finger a hug.

He was about to shake her off of him and probably get up and stomp away when the thought struck him to stay. It's not like the human would tell anyone he knew back home, and he'd make sure they didn't spread the news. He had a reputation to keep after all. Plus.. maybe a little love after all he's gone through... would ... do him some good...

He turned to look back at her. He had to give her credit for being brave enough to come do this after he blew up the whole*#$ ?€¥! clearing.

Sniffing softly from his own cries, Bakugo lifted the little human off the ground whilst she clung to his index finger. She looked scared and unsure as she rose off the ground, but he didn't care, it wasn't like he was gonna hurt her.

He carefully flipped onto his back, setting the human down on his chest before folding both his hands behind his head.

Bakugo looked up at the stars as they glittered in numberless amounts above, maybe life wasn't all that bad.

He watched out of her peripheral vision as she too, lied down on his chest and looked up at the stars. It was then that Bakugo felt he could take a deep, calming breath... it felt good.

"Wanna talk about it?" She asked him, looking up at him as he kept his gaze on the galaxy sky. "Not right now..." he told her, cluing her in that he planned on seeing her again. "You better not tell anymore of those dumb humans about this, or I'll blast your stupid little butt to kingdom come." He told her, not aggressively, but in a serious tone. "I won't..." He heard her promise, setting him at ease. He didn't know why, but he felt he could trust her.

As they watched the cosmos turn about them above, Bakugo thought on how maybe, so long as she didn't have any family here, he'd take her home- whether she liked it or not- and secretly take care of her. Not because the other giants would hurt her, but because he didn't want them knowing that he'd have a little emotional support human. The thought rested well with him, But of course, being Bakugo, he didn't acknowledge it, even to himself, but he really hoped sure as heck she was an orphan or some crap.

For now though, he would just secretly enjoy having the tiny girl on his chest as the two of them looked up at the stars.
