Chapter 2: The Mad Song
As the gang walked through the forest, Komasan somehow felt upset.
(Komasan) I don't even know why your friends even bother to talk to us. We just seem to upset him.
(Komajiro) What do mean we?
Yoshi was rolling the same watermelon that fell on Toads head.
(Komasan) I don't know.
(Komajiro) Well how would you feel if someone dropped fruit on your head?
(Petrie) Me no know.
However, Yoshi swung his tail on the watermelon and it went into the air and hit Petrie on his back and made him fall on his belly and then the watermelon landed on his head.
(Petrie) Ow. Me do now.
(Jibanyan) Come on Komasan. Forget it and just pass the ball.
Komasan then felt that his brother was right. So he grabbed the mellon and threw it to Littlefoot as he kicked it.
(Littlefoot) Heads up USApyon.
Lucky for USApyon, he was able to catch the mellon in time
(USApyon) I got it.
As the gang played their game, Ducky, Tickles, and Spike were sitting at a pond while they were thinking about what happened. Cera and Daisy saw them and walked to them.
(Daisy) Hey. Aren't you 3 coming?
(Ducky) I do not feel like playing right now. No, no, no.
(Tickles) Me nether.
Spike nods in agreement
(Cera) Well what is it?
(Ducky) We feel funny.
(Daisy) Funny Good or Funny Bad?
(Tickles) Funny Bad.
(Cera) Oh my. Are you 3 sick?
(Tickles) No. We feel like something is burning in us like the lava in the volcanoes.
(Daisy) Oh. That. You're not sick.
(Ducky) Oh. That is good. But then what is wrong with us?
(Cera) Nothing. You 3 are just mad.
(Ducky) Well what do you know. We are mad.
(Tickles) Well who are we mad at?
But as they saw the rest of the gang pass by, Yoshi ate the mellon. Ducky, Tickles, and Spike just laughed at Yoshi, but as Jibanyan started to sleep they knew who they were mad at.
(Ducky) We know alright.
(Tickles) We're mad at the Yokai. How do we express my feelings to him?
(Ducky) I would like to know too. Yep, yep, yep.
(Cera) You came to the right place. If there's one thing us Three-horns know about. It's being mad.
(Daisy) Count me in too. Even I know everything about being mad.
So Ducky, Tickles, and Spike followed Cera And Daisy to learn how to express their feelings. Mario saw them however.
(Mario) Looks like Cera, Ducky, and Daisy are going to have some girl time. Wait. Tickles and Spike are with them. Maybe they only needed just one boy for what they plan on doing.
Mario didn't care what they were doing however. So he went back to the game.
Spike was wondering by himself, looking for food. He spotted a bush close by and was about to bite it until he bumped into something. He peeked over the other side of the bush and saw what he thinks he's seeing. It was a pink Spike-tail who was just about the same size as Spike. But unlike Spike, the pink Spike-tail is a girl and can talk.
(Pink Spike-tail) Hiya, hiya.
(?) Now remember Tippy, bolt your food. That way you can eat more.
Tippy looked behind her and saw her mother coming this way.
(Tippy) Look mama. Friend.
(Tippy's mother) Why hello there. I didn't know there were any Spike-tails in The Great Mushroom Valley Kingdom. Oh how do you do? You and your family must come over and see us.
Spike nodded his head yes as he went back to his nesting ground.
(Tippy) Friend, friend, friend.
(Tippy's mother) Yes. He seemed really nice.
(Daisy) Hey Spike, come on.
Spike heard what Daisy said and went on and said bye to Tippy. So he had an idea for them.
(Daisy) Spike. There you are. What happened.
Spike explained what he's trying to say and Ducky understood what he said.
(Ducky) Spike said that he saw other spike-tails and we should see them.
(Cera) Great plan Spike. But we need to practice. Okay?
Spike licks Cera for her response and she wipes the slobber off her face.
(Cera) I'll take that as a yes.
So then Ducky, Tickles, and Spike were making mad faces and growling as Cera and Daisy showed them to do.
(Cera) Not too bad.
(Daisy) Only try to make your mouths go down farther.
(Ducky) But this is as far as they can go.
(Daisy) Look. If you're gonna feel mad, you both gotta look mad.
(Tickles) But we don't know how to feel mad.
(Daisy) Well the mad faces are just the beginning.
(Cera) There's more to being mad then you think.
Cera and Daisy then started to sing a song that came into their heads.
(Cera) When your tummy feels all sticky and hot.
(Daisy) Like it's filled with bubbling goo.
(Cera and Daisy) And those fuzzy buzzy things inside your head make you all sad and blue.
(Daisy) Don't go around pretending that there is nothing wrong with you.
(Cera) When you Feel that prickly, ickley thing. Do what the Three-horns do.
(Daisy) It's what I do.
(Ducky) What do you do?
(Cera and Daisy) We get ma ma ma ma ma ma MAD!
(Tickles) How do you do that?
(Daisy) First, make your face all skinny and scary. Don't raise up your head.
(Cera) Hold your breath, until you're blue. And make your eyes turn red.
(Daisy) Squinch your face up, winkle your beak, like you just smelled something bad.
(Cera) Turn your smiling face upside down. That's the way you look.
(Cera and Daisy) When you're mad.
(Daisy) Now put your hands on your hips. Shoulders back.
(Cera) Stomp your feet in the dirt.
(Daisy) Kick some rocks.
Ducky, Tickles, and Spike tried to kick one but it hurt.
(Ducky, Tickles, and Spike) Ow.
(Cera) But not too hard.
(Ducky) Cause that can really hurt.
(Cera) Pretend that you're a Sharp-tooth.
(Tickles) I could pretend I am your dad.
(Daisy) Grumble and mumble real loud. That's the way you sound.
(Cera and Daisy) When you're mad.
(All) When there's mad inside you. Or sad inside you. You got to let what's inside out.
(Cera) Give a big old snort. And stamp your feet.
(Daisy) Stick up your beak and shout.
(Cera) Say "no".
(Ducky) NO!
(Cera) Say "gerrr".
(Ducky) GRRR!
(Daisy) Say "no".
(Tickles) NO!
(Daisy) "Gerrr"
(Tickles) GRRR!
(Cera) Say "no"
(Spike) NO!
(Daisy) Say "Grrr"
(Spike) GRRR!
(Cera and Daisy) Now you're angry.
(Cera) And ones you get mad.
(Daisy) You got to stay mad.
(Cera and Daisy) Don't give a inch.
(Ducky and Tickles) But what if we start to feel better?
(Cera and Daisy) No. You hold your grudge until they grovel.
(Ducky and Tickles) Til they what?
(Cera and Daisy) Grovel
(Ducky) Oh. Alright then.
(Ducky and Tickles) But we do not know
(Cera) And when you're really really really really mad.
(Daisy) And you got to let off steam.
(Cera) Take a deep breath.
(Daisy) Throw back your head.
(Cera and Daisy) Stand on your toes. And, SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAM!
Cera and Daisy's scream was loud enough for Topps to hear it from far away.
(Topps) Oh ho. She's mad at somebody.
And that's when the song ended.
(Cera and Daisy) See?
(Ducky) I did not know being mad was such hard work. But now we know how to feel mad.
(Tickles) And now we're ready to be mad.
Spike nods in agreement.
Cera and Daisy were glad that their mad lessons for Ducky, Tickles, and Spike were a success. Just then Tippy came.
(Daisy) Oh hey. Is that your friend that Spike was talking about?
Spike nods to the answer
(Ducky) What's her name
(Tippy) Tippy. Tippy. Tippy.
(Cera) Tippy. That's a great name. I better go tell Mario. Also he has that scarf. I might show that to him.
