Basic description of the story. Both Luz and Amity are humans. The sides of Luz's head are shaved but the hair floof remains on top. (I hope that makes sense) and her outfit consists of a blue tank top with a white T shirt under. Black jeans with rips in them .white sneakers and a black loop earring on her right ear.

It was 8:30 And Luz was already in the principals office.

"Luz"her mother sighed. "I dropped you of thirty minutes ago. How dis you get in trouble already."

"Yes Luz please explain."The principal asked.

" I was at my locker when Stupid Tony walked by. He called me and freak. Not wanting to deal with his crap. I threw a book at him" Luz explained.

Now Luz wasn't necessarily a bad kid. She just didn't fit in. Which caused bullying. She let her angry get the better of her and got in fights.

"Couldn't you have told a teacher"the principalsaid.

"Yeah like that would work."Luz scoffed. "Oh teacher tony called me a mean name!"Her voice raised an octave as she talked sarcastically.

The were interrupted when a mint haired girl walked into the room. She wore purple flannel, a white shirt, blue jeans which were cuffed at the bottom and black converses

"Dang this girl is cute." Luz thought.

"Oh your busy right now sorry"the girl said

"Oh don't worry about it miss blight. Come on in" the principal said where are your siblings?"

Waiting out in the hall. I said that I would get their schedules" said the girl

The principal turned his attention back to Luz. Now Luz sense you didn't injure tony. I'm gonna let you off with a week's detention and you can show Amity here around."

"Fine by me" Luz gets up and walks out of the office with Amity fallowing behind her.

"Where are your siblings?" Luz asked.

"Who knows." Amity said "They actually told me to get their schedules for them"

"Alright let's get this tour started." Luz said. As the two walk around the school Luz points out different groups of cliques"

"Why are you pointing out all the cliques" Amity asked.

"I'm helping you find a group to fit in with." Luz answered.

Amity ponders that for a moment. "Why can't I hang out with you?" She asked.

Luz chuckles at that. " nobody hangs out with me. I'm a troublemaker. I get into fights and I am constantly called freak"

"Did you start the fights?" Amity asked. She tilted her head which Luz found adorable.

"No. All the other kids come to me first. it usually goes like this. The kid calls me a name and I don't like that so I punch em." Luz explained.

"So it's not your fault your a troublemaker." Amity said. " and for the record I don't think your a freak."

Luz slightly blushes. "Thanks Amity. Oh here we are at your first class. Good luck" Luz waves Amity a goodbye and heads to her own first class.

In the halls after class Luz was at her locker when she felt a tap on her shoulder. She turns around to see Amity.

"Oh! hey Amity" she said.

"Hey Luz." Amity said.

"Did you find a group to fit in with?" Luz asked.

"Well yes." Amity said. "But they don't seem very nice. I mean Skara is ok, but Boscha is rude. They invited me to eat lunch with them."

"I see you met the popular girls." Luz said "You should definitely eat lunch with them."

"Actually.." Amity fidgeted with her hands. "I was wonder if I could eat lunch with you?"

"Luz was shocked by this. No one had ever wanted to eat with her. "Uhh ok" she stuttered.

A smile appeared on Amity's face "great I'll see you then" and with that Amity Went on to her class.

Luz spent her class thinking about what Amity said. "She wanted to eat with her?". One thought lead to another and soon Luz was think about Amity's cute face. She was so lost her own world that she didn't her the teacher calling her.

"Ms.Noceda!" The teacher called finally getting her attention.

"Yea." Luz responded.

"What is on your mind that you can't learn? Care to tell us all." The teacher asked.

Now Luz wasn't going to tell the whole class that she was thinking about a cute girl. The other students already teased her enough about her bisexuality. "I don't have to tell you what I'm thinking about. It's private." She said.

"Very well just please pay attention to class." The teacher said. He turned back to the board.

"Great the Bi freak is taking up our learning time." Some girl said.

"What did you call me!?" Luz snapped. The teacher turned back to face Luz.

"Ms.Noceda this is strike one. Please don't interrupt class."

"She started it!" Luz pointed to the girl.

"I don't care who started it now. The teacher sighed. "Focus on your work."

Luz grunted. She had better thing to think about anyway.

At lunch time Luz sat her normal table. She saw Amity walk into the cafeteria. The girl made eye contact with Luz, then with Boscha and the other girls who were waving her over. Amity looked back at Luz and head over. She sat a cross from her.

"Hey there Blight. You actually came." Luz said.

"Yeah. I said I was gonna eat with you." Amity responded

That's when Luz noticed that Amity had a lot of homework books. " what's with the books they can't all be yours."

"Their my siblings homework." Amity sighed. They texted my in class saying they were going to the "bathroom" and to pick up their books after class."

Before Luz could respond two teens. A boy and a girl walked came over and stood beside Amity.

"There you are mittens." The girl said.

"Did you get our books?" The boy asked.

"Yes I got them right here." Amity said. She pointed to the books.

Before the twins could take them Luz picked the books up. "You know what. Its mean to make your sister get all your things so you can skip class." Luz said. " if you want your stupid books. Go get them!" With that she threw the books across the cafeteria. The twins gasp and stare daggers at Luz who simply shrugs. The twins quickly hurry to get there books.

Amity begins to giggle. "That was awesome."

"Yeah it was." Luz laughed. She then noticed a small lesbian flag pin on Amity's shirt. "I love your pin!"

"Oh thanks" Amity blushes.

"I have a pin too!" Luz chirped she reached in her bag a pulled out a bi flag pin. I don't wear it because kids tease me. Always telling me to pick one gender."

"That's awful!" Amity Said.

"Yeah but I'm used to it." Luz said. " I'm really glad you sat with me Amity. I have problems with everyone here. Especially Boscha. She's the one who constantly tells me to pick a gender. Punched her in the face once because of it"

"She deserved it" Amity said.

It was time for PE a class Luz and Amity had together. They walked out to the field. Amity is swarmed by Boscha and her gang.

"Amity why did you eat with her. She's a freak." Boscha said. "She punched me in the face for no reason."

Now Amity knew Boscha was lying about being punched in the face for no reason.

"Hang out with us. We are much more fun." Skara piped up. She lowered her voice. " we can set you up with cute boys"

Amity looks over at Luz, who is doing push-ups. Luz makes eye contact with Her. A blush creeps on Amity's cheeks. "Yeah no thanks I'm good." Amity said. She goes over to where the rest of the class is.

"Ok today we are running the track" the teacher said. Luz stands besides Amity.

"Do you like to run?" Luz asked.

"Yeah actually. It helps clear my mind" Amity answered

"Oh. I was gonna say I like to run to go fast but that works too." Luz said causing Amity to laugh. The two begin to run with the rest of the class keeping a steady pace. All goes well until a student shoves Luz.

"Move it freak!" The kid said.

"Hey!" Luz shouts. She's about to go after the kid. When Amity grabs her arm. A shock of what seems to be electricity moves through the both of them. Blush spreads Across both of their faces

"It's not worth it Luz." Amity said recovering for her blush

"Yeah your right. Come on let's keep going." Luz and Amity begin running again still holding hands. When it was time for a water break the two sit down. Of course students whisper about the two girls.

"Why don't you take a picture it'll last longer!" Luz yelled at the other students.

"Your pretty funny Luz ." Amity giggled

"Thanks Blight" Luz smirked.

Finally it was time to go home. Both Luz and Amity walk out of her school together looking for their rides home.

"Alright Luz you can do this! Just askher to hang out" Luz thought. " hey Amity?"

Yes?"

"Would you like to hang out something outside of school" Luz asked

Amity smiled. "Yeah I would like that."

"Great!" Luz said. I'll see you tomorrow. She gives Amity a hug and runs to her car. She gets in.

"So who was that?" Her mother asked.

"Oh that's my friend Amity." Luz smiled. She had made her first ever friend.

This might be one of my favorite stories I've ever written.
