Team Shadow sat in Naruto's apartment discussing their plans for the prank war.

'This should be easy with Naruto on our team,' Sakura thought to herself, smiling.

Naruto was scribbling his plans on paper placed in the middle of where the three of them were sat, grinning as he did so. Sakura was contributing her ideas as well, but was mostly just trying to stop Naruto exploding with excitement while trying to contain her own.

So, that just left Kakashi. The Copy Ninja was working on the team's hit list of who they should target first, and also try to figure of what team Ashe's plans might be.

Just as Naruto broke into another fit of laughter about a prank he found particularly funny, Kakashi reminded them of the scroll they were given by Shizune.

"Oh, right!" The medical-nin said, giggling at the prank Naruto was trying to explain to her.

Naruto groaned at the reminder they would have rules for this prank war. 'Rules are no fun.'

Kakahi joined his students in the middle of the room and handed the scroll to Sakura, who opened the scroll and began to read the contents aloud;

"Team Shadow, you have been chosen by the Fifth Hokage, Lady Tsunade, to compete in the Fifth Great Shinobi Prank War. Listed below are the rules that both team Shadow and team Ashe must obey. Failure to adhere to the rules will result in consquences!

Rule number 1: Pranks can be completed as a team, as a duo, or as a solo mission and they will count towards your whole team.

Rule number 2: You are NOT allowed to prank the same person more than once.

Rule number 3: You must NOT let anyone know about the prank war.

Rule number 4: DON'T get caught.

Rule number 5: The first team to prank everyone in the village, wins.

Naruto started grinning again, "Those rules don't sound too bad. Hey guys, this is going to be so much fun!"

"Pranking the whole village... that's a lot of people," Sakura sighed, "but I'm sure we can manage this better than the others. Right, Kakashi Sensei?"

'Everyone in the village...' Kakashi thought again about what Sakura read aloud. "Yeah, we're going to win this. No doubt about it" he said smiling underneath his mask.

And so team Shadow spent the next few hours preparing for the greatest prank war of their lives.
