Lifting her feet over piles of golden sand, Rey walked over the beach with the irritating feeling of grains from the sand in her shoes. She was used to hot places, growing up on Jakku, but she didn't want to be here and she wasn't exactly prepared for this surprise destination. But, another part of Rey's mind knew that she needed a break, time away from Finn, Rose, Poe, Leia, and even Chewie, she needed to think about Ben, and Han, and Luke, she needed to relax and stay calm, besides, she had her lightsaber, the force, and she was sure that her friends would come looking for her soon. Rey soon found out that this situation of 'I'm stranded on a desert island with no food, no water, no shelter, and no help' was about to get harder.

She rounded a bend in the beach as she walked close to the shore, skipping over the gentle waves threatening to soak her shoes. But as her head lifted from where it had been looking down at the ground, her eyes came to a sight that was more than a problem. It was him!

He stared straight into her eyes as her head came up. He had spotted her a little while away, walking towards him, clearly with no idea that she was on the same island as him. Kylo wasn't surprised though, the force had been doing nothing but trying to pull them together. He had hurriedly tidied his hair and flatted down his clothes so that he didn't look panicked or like he was completely and utterly stuck. But as she brought her head up and realized that it was him, something inside Kylo clicked, and he found himself softening his eyes until he saw Rey's hand quickly move to her belt and pull out her light saber, igniting it, she ran full speed at Kylo.

Lunging at him, Rey swung the blue glow of her saber. Kylo dodged every one of them.

"Rey" he said, as he ducked down.

"Shut up" she yelled. "I should have known these force connections were a bad thing! They've led me here! Now I'm stuck! Thanks a lot Ben!"

"I didn't bring you here!" Ben shouted back. "And what do you mean you're stuck?"

Rey stopped, lowering her saber and taking deep breaths, the humming of her weapon in her hand filling the humid air.

"You're stuck as well" Rey could slip just far enough into Kylo's mind to see that. She unignited her saber, her eye contact not breaking with his.

"Yes" Kylo answered in his deep voice.

"You want to kill me" she said.

"No" he answered. They were silent, looking far into the other's eyes. Rey softened her gaze.

"Together I'm sure that we can find a way off this island, out of this planet" Rey said, stepping a little closer to see how much she could push until he became angry. "Then you can-"

"No" Kylo said. "Then you can join me." He stretched out his gloved hand. Rey narrowed her eyes and stepped back.

"Not again, Ben, please don't. I'm not going to join you" Rey said.

"Oh but you want to" Kylo answered.

"But I won't" Rey said, determined to keep strong. Kylo let out a breath.

"Say what you want, think what you want, but in the ned, you will join me, and when you decide that, I will always be waiting" Kylo responded. Then he just plainly began to walk up the beach, his cloak flowing through the soft breeze, he said nothing, just walked. Kylo was heading for the forest that grew thicker and thicker as it got further from the shore. It reminded Rey of how Luke had walked away from her silently after throwing his saber off the cliff.

"Ben!" she called after him, running to catch up and then jogging alongside his large strides. "Where are you going?"

"Nowhere that you are" Ben answered.

"Aren't you at least going to try and get off this island?" Rey said.

"Why should I? What is there for me if you won't be there?" he said without even thinking, his bite the inside of his cheeks when he realised what he had just said. But Rey looked almost happy.

"There is a lot more for you than me, Ben" she said. "It's obvious that we're not going to leave here before tomorrow so-"

"No" Ben said bluntly.

"You didn't even!"

"I know what you were going to say. And no, I am not going anywhere near you while we are here, unless you want a laser sword through your head" Kylo replied. Rey grabbed Kylo's wrist and he tried to pull away, but Rey grabbed his other wrist and looked into his eyes. After a minute of unspoken arguing, Kylo sighed. "Fine" he said. "But at the end of all this, you will join me... you won't be able to resist."

"What do you mean 'all of this'?" Rey asked.

"Does anyone know where you are?" Kylo asked.

"No" Rey said.

"Well then I would get use to being here for a long time" Kylo said, facing Rey. "Because when the First Order comes for me, you will either stay here stranded, or I will take you aboard, it depends on how much you irritate me."

"But, we have no food or water" said Rey.

"You can find some" Kylo was trying not to slip into the trance of acting like Ben instead of Kylo.

"But what about things like shelter and the bathroom?" Rey asked.

"Shelter: there is plenty of things you can salvage, you are a scavenger after all. Bathroom: find a tree" Kylo spat out these sentences and then began to walk off again, shaking his wrists out of Rey's grasp. There was a huge forest all across the island, Kylo was hoping that he would be able to find a cave or something, it was early morning, he would have time.

"A tree?!" Rey exclaimed, stomping after the man.

"Yes, is that a problem or do you have any better ideas?" Kylo continued to walk.

"Hey! That's easy for you to say because its easy for you to do" Rey said. "What about me?"

"How am I meant to know?" said Kylo.

"Where are you going, Ben?!" Rey yelled as Kylo began to enter the forest, the sun burning down above them and the ocean crashing gently behind them on the golden beach.

"That is not my name."
