Chapter two: The Assembly

If there was anyway to describe paradis high, it would be old. The school was supposedly built in the 17th century but was abandoned soon after. Only to be refurbished into a school hundreds of years later. Some say you can hear the yells of those who died building it. Some say you can still find swords just lying around if you look hard enough. However nothing else in the school puts the students of paradis high into a state of shock, then the sound of the P.D.A speakers."Attention all First years, please report to the gymnasium for your student orientation!!!" A loud booming voice announced over the speakers.

"Do you think we'll find armin in the gym"? "Ereh If there's anything greater then your anger issues it would be armin's dedication to his attendence record." Eren's face then formed into a small frown, offended by mikasa's rude but truthful statement. Letting out a sigh of defeat eren replied. "Yeah yeah what ever you say mikasa. Say doesn't your uncle work here or something?" " Uh... yeah..." Mikasa responded nervously. Eren then looked at her nervously, judging by her tone of voice it seemed levi still holds a grudge against him and his bloodline. "Is he still mad at me and zeke for the whole monkey prank? I swear i've already apologized for the millionth time already."

Eren had remembered that day very well. When him and zeke bought a monkey suit with the intention of spooking levi, only for zeke to break the Older ackermans only rule. Don't.Track.In.Mud. It was a miracle that zeke survived the beating he got. It was also a miracle that levi even allowed eren to talk to mikasa after that. To this day while zeke thinks said prank was not worth it, eren thinks that it was 100% worth it as it allowed him to see mikasa smile.

Entering the gym eren and mikasa both were astonished at the level of effort was put in for the freshmen orientation. With banners welcoming freshmen, a table full of cupcakes and an rows after rows of chairs set up in front of a stage.

"Hey guys what's up!" A voice eren and mikasa hadn't heard in a long time, around 3 months to be exact. "Armin! its been forever dude! How was your vacation with your grandpa?" "It was amazing eren! We traveled to an island and checked out a volcano too!" While armin was recounting the events of his vacation, he was suddenly wacked in the back of his head by a dodgeball. "Armin!" Eren yelled as he and mikasa rushed to pick up their friend, With mikasa checking to make sure armin wasn't hurt too seriously and eren rushing toward the offending party. 3 boys who've been bothering his group of friends since middle school. "What the hell guys!? Stop it!" One of the bullies responded in tow "Or what? Gonna tell on us?" Earning a snicker from his other friends. "I'll kick your asses if I have to you dicks!!!" Eren responded back, fury in his eyes. "Ha you couldn't do sh-" The bully immediately froze up at the sight of mikasa slowly walking towards them. With whispers of "Oh fuck its mikasa" and "lets bail" the group of bullies decided to run away with their dignity in tact. "Ha! Showed them! Those cowards must have run off after witnessing my bombastic energy!" Eren Told himself out loud. "No im pretty sure their just scared of mikasa eren." Eren then blushed out of embarrassment while giving mikasa a look of envy. "Well what ever. You doing alright armin?" "Yeah i'm alright, we should start looking for seats though. I'm pretty sure the principal is going to give a speech soon." With that the trio managed to find some seats in the front of the stage, waiting to see what their principal.

What do you guys think she's going to talk about guys? Mikasa asked curiously. "I don't know maybe we should shut up and find out." Eren responded with a tone of envy still his voice. "Guys be quiet I think shes about to begin speaking!" Armin said, lightly scolding them. Meanwhile a blonde lady finally walked up to the microphone on stage and with a mighty tone, she finally spoke.

"ATTENTION MY FIRST YEAR STUDENTS. WELCOME TO YOUR FIRST YEAR OF HIGHSCHOOL! I AM YMIR FRITZ, THE PRINCIPAL OF THIS FINE ACADEMY. BUT DO NOT LET THAT INTIMIDATE YOU! FOR I AM HERE TO ASK OF YOU TO ENJOY THIS YEAR OF HIGHSCHOOL AND TO HAVE FUN! TODAY YOU ARE TO GO TO YOUR CLASSES AND MEMORIZE SAID CLASSES. TOMMOROW YOU ARE TO RETURN TO THE GYM TO JOIN A CLUB. THAT IS ALL FOR NOW MY STUDENTS. ENJOY YOUR FIRST DAY AND REMEMBER TO HAVE FUN!

With that the crowd began to disperse and head to class. With murmurs of how the principal seemed "kinda young" and "Kinda scary" with one student even stating that she "didn't know there were other people named after that one norse god or something". Eren himself didn't really have much thoughts about the principal however, Instead focusing on what club he would want to join. However he didn't have much time to think about that, for the poor yeager had stumbled across the one man he definitely wanted to avoid. Levi Ackerman

"H-Hey there levi.." Eren said as he subconsciously latched onto mikasa's arm for protection from her over protective uncle, causing the younger ackerman to form a small blush on her face, one that didn't go unnoticed by their resident genius. "Oi brat. Its been a while, Hows that no good cousin of yours doing?" levi asked in that famous monotone but also intimidating voice of his. "Z-Zekes fine sir, Um... so is that all you wanted to ask or-" Levi then cut him off. "Actually i've been meaning to talk to you. Alone" levi said as he glared at the other 2 with armin wisely backing off and mikasa starting to feel stand offish. "Hey! You better not haze him or anything levi! Or else ill punt you across campus" mikasa threatened. "Easy there brat, I just wanna have a small talk with yeager bomb here." With that levi dragged eren down the hall. Armin, noticing that mikasa was staring a hole into the back into levis head, decided to have some small talk with his friend to get her mind off things. "Sooooo... have you told eren yet?" This question was all it took to get mikasa out of her anger induced trance and right into a flustered trance instead. "W-What are you talking about?" Mikasa asked nervously "You know your massive crush on eren that's totally oblivious to literally everyone?" Armin. responded with a deadpan expression on his face. "Mikasa its been 3 years and you still haven't said anything? Gosh your hopeless aren't you." I-I Don't know what your talking about armin! Now if you excuse me i'll be heading to homeroom. If you actually care about your attendence then you should probably follow along" Mikasa said in a desperate attempt to divert the conversation she desperately did not want to have. Either she was the wielder of the plot armor titan or she just owed what ever higher being is out there as it seemed her bid to divert the conversation had worked. "AHHH YOU'RE RIGHT! Come on lets go! Armin said, frantically running towards his home room. Mikasa sighed in relief, with her also getting ready to make it to homeroom, lost in thought. "Don't let the midget kill you ereh..."

Meanwhile with levi and eren-

"Alright brat. This should be far enough." "Um levi can we make this quick? I gotta make it to class on time." Eren asked, Fearing for his life. "What ever, I'll make it quick. Now as you can tell im the head janitor of this school and as the head janitor of this school it is my responsibility to make sure that nothing tarnishes my territory." Levi then looks at eren with a glare that could kill an elephant 20 times over. That includes you brat. So i'll give you a warning. Don't ruin this chance. I haven't forgotten what your cousin did and I certainly didn't forget what you did." Hearing his worlds all eren could do was nod in response and with the power of his raging teenage hormones he ran off into his homeroom, not caring about the fact that he maybe late but rather put as much distance between him and the older ackerman.

Hello again! Looks like armin and levi made their appearances! What will happen when they meet their classmates? What of mikasa's crush?
