Chapter 2 - Her Name is Kula
"(This is the place.)" - Thought Kula arriving at the main entrace of her new school
Kula saw how other boys and girls entered and started walking towards the entrace.
"So, you're the new girl. Isn't it?" - Said one girl followed by two girls
"Hi! Yes, I'm new here. And. And I hope we can be good friends." - Said Kula
"Alright, we will see you inside. By the way my name is Pamela." - Said the girl greeting Kula with her hand
"Mine's Kul... I mean Miriam. My name is Miriam Valentine, is a pleasure to meet you." - Said Kula remembering the fake name Diana sign her up in the school with
The three girls started walking off inside the building, Kula was left in the entrace
"Are you sure we should be friends with that girl? There's something I don't like about her." - Said one of the girls to Pamela
"Calm down, us being friends with someone like her? No but we can have some fun with her." - Pamela
Kula entered the building and walked to the classroom where she was assigned, she goes and sit to one of the chairs waiting for the class to start
"Oh, hi! You must be the new girl, I'm amelia. Is a pleasure to meet you." - Said the girl greeting Kula
"Hi, my name is Miriam." - Kula
"I saw you were talking with Pamela and her two bootlickers, here's a tip. Don't listen to them! If they offer you their friendship, ignore them. They will want to use you and when they get bored of you, they will drop you like nothing. Trust me, I'm telling you this by experience." - Amelia
Kula was a little bit confused
"Ok, thanks. I'll do that." - Kula
"Nice and if they ask you, tell them I didn't say anything." - Amelia
"Sure!" - Kula
The class started, Kula introduced herself to her class. Everything went normal until the bell was heared.
"Is lunch break! C'mon, Miriam. I'll show you the rest of the school." - Amelia took Kula out of the classrom
"Wow, I didn't thought learning about math could be that fun." - Kula
"You really liked that class? I always fall asleep trying to solve the problems." - Amelia
"I mean is not as hard as deactivate a space satellite." - Kula
"What did you say?" - Asked Amelia very confused
"Nothing." - Kula
"But I thought you said satelli.." - Amelia
"WHERE'S THE BATHROOMS?" - Asked Kula trying to change the subject.
"Ah, here. Just follow me." - Amelia
While Kula and Amelia where walking they were stopped by a trio of students, it was Pamela
"Hi, Miriam. I thought you were going to hang out with us?" - Asked Pamela
"Eh? Sorry girls but I can't. Maybe another day." - Said Kula running off with Amelia
"Hmph! So she is friends with Amelia." - Pamela
Kula and Amelia were sitting on a bench eating calmly. They were talking until Amelia started looking more closely at Kula
"What happened? Do I have something in my face?" - Asked Kula
"No. Is just that you look kinda familiar, I felt I've seen you before elsewhere but I can't remember." - Amelia
"Must have been someone who looked exactly like me, is not like I ever participated in some kind of tournament or something like that..." - In that moment Kula closed her mouth, she know she had talked more than what she should
"Tournament... That's right a tournament! I know who you remember me to, there's this girl who participated in the King of Fighters who uses ice to fight. I can't remember her name right now but it was something like..." - Amelia
"Wait! The KOF tournament, you know about those?" - Asked Kula a bit freakout
"Of course I know, silly. Everyone knows about the KOF tournaments. They are a national expectacle, kinda like the olympics." - Amelia
"(What is the olympics?)" - Thought Kula
"I'm a big fan of the KOF tournaments, my favorite team is whatever team Iori Yagami is in." - Amelia
"Wait, you like Yagami?" - Asked Kula a bit disgusted
"Yes, isn't he so dreamy?" - Said Amelia showing off a wristband with Iori's face on it.
"(And to think Seirah, Diana and Foxy tell me I have bad taste in men.)" - Thought Kula
"I suppose he is." - Said Kula lying answering Amelia's question
"Anyway, I finally remembered the name of this girl I was talking about. Is Kula Diamond from the K' team... Wait! You certainly look very similar to her, Miriam." - Amelia asked
"Must be just a concidence." - Kula
"Since you're a fan of the tournaments. I wonder do you like Kula Diamond?" - Amelia
"Yes, I love Kula Diamond, I think she is the coolest fighter on these tournaments. Way cooler than those Athena, Mai and Yuri girls." - Said Kula acting as she was just a fan of the tournaments.
"I like Kula, no offense but I personally think Athena and Mai are way cooler than her. Is just that psychic or fire powers seen more cool than Ice ones." - Amelia
"(Ouch!)" - Thought Kula
"Oh, tell me, who is your favorite male fighter of the tournament? I already told you mine." - Amelia
"... I like K'." - Kula
"K'! Seriously? The guy just seens very unlikable, have you seen his interviews, he barely talks and hanging out with him must be so boring." - Amelia
"(Says the girl who wants to be girlfriend of some psycho stalker.)" - Thought Kula
"I think he is kind of cute, maybe he acts that way to hide his true feelings. Maybe he had a tough past and is trying to distract himself in these tournaments. You never know." - Kula
"You speak as if you know him really well." - Amelia
"I'm just a big fan, that's all." - Kula
In that moment the bell ringed again, it was time to return back to the classrom
The day continued normal until it was time to go, Kula said goodbye to Amelia and started walking towards her house again.
"(Good thing she didn't recognized me with my normal hair color. And to think I used to be mad at Seirah for telling me to hide my powers.)" - Thought Kula
Kula walked back to her home, unknown to her the strange black van was watching her leave the school
"The target has just abandoned the school." - Strange Man
"Good. Follow her, we need to know more about the places she frequents before proceeding with the next step." - Said the strange voice in the headset
"Roger that!" - Strange Man
Kula had arrived at her home, she was greeted by her family and went to sleep.
"What a day! At least it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be." - Said Kula to herself in bed
Some days had passed, Kula was getting used to her normal school life. With the occasional annoyance of Pamela and her friends. Until one day...
"(Only a few weeks more to my birthday. Should I even tell Amelia about my secret? I think she deserves to know.)" - Thought Kula about telling the truth to her friend
"Hi, Miriam! Ready for another day of fun?" - Asked Amelia in the entrace of the building
"Hi, Amelia. Yes, I cant wait..." - In that moment Kula and Amelia found themselves with Pamela
"Amelia, what are you trying to do?" - Said Pamela grabing Amelia by her hair
"What do you mean, Pamela? I haven't do anything." - Said Amelia who was trying to free herself
"That's the problem, Amelia. You still owe us some money that you stealed from us. Did you think we were going to forget about it? We just were waiting to see if you would stop acting dumb." - Said Pamela pulling Amelia's hair even more
"Argh! I told you I don't gonna be your servant any longer, that money was mine in first place." - Said Amelia who tried to free herself
"Lier!" - Said Pamela
"Let her go!" - Said Kula angry at the abuse of her friend
"Shut up, new girl! I don't take orders from losers like you." - Pamela
"I told you to let her go!" - Said Kula now sounding more angry
"Or what? Are you gonna punch me with those small hands of you, just be a good girl and run to the classrom. I don't have interest in wasting my time of a pathetic girl like you." - Said Pamela mocking Kula
"ARGH! Miriam, just go! I'll see you on the classrom." - Said Amelia trying to calm Kula and trying to make the situation less tense
"Shut up, Amelia." - Pamela punched Amelia in the face making her spit some blood.
That was The drop that spilled the glass
"ENOUGH!" - Kula screamed as her hair turned blue, she throwed a big sphere of ice with her hands hitting Pamela and sending her flying against a wall unconscious
This shocked everyone that was outside the school
"Did her hair just changed colors? What a freak! How did she do that? Is that Kula Diamond?" - Where the things some of the students said looking at the scene
"You're... You're the real Kula Diamond!" - Said Amelia who was totally shocked after seeing that
Kula didn't know what to say, she run out of the school
"Interesting." - Said the strange man in the black van when he saw Kula running out of the scene with her Blue hair
