Welcome to Day 1 a.k.a, holding hands. Lincoln saw Stella walk into his house.
"Hi Lincoln," Stella said. "What's up with you this fine afternoon?"
"Hello Stella," Lincoln said. "Just came out of my room".
Stella understood.
"Did you know about that burger place?" She asked.
"I have," Lincoln said. "The Burpin' Burger. You wanna go get a burger there?"
"I would love to," Stella said.
She grabbed Lincoln's hand. He couldn't help but blush. As the two of them walked off, they continued holding hands.
"I feel like something about this is going to be a little funny," Stella said.
"I know," Lincoln said to her. "You are going to love the Burpin' Burger".
"I even remember the jingle," Stella said.
They both got to singing.
"Hungry y'all? Look no further! Come on down to Burpin' Burger! Grade B beef and special spice! When it comes back up, it's twice as nice"!
As the two of them nearly arrived at the Burpin' Burger, they ran into Richie.
"Hey Richie," they said.
Little did they know, they were still holding hands with each other.
"You two like each other, don't you/" Richie asked.
"Yeah," they said while blushing.
"You won't say anything, right?" Lincoln asked.
"No worries," Richie answered. "Your little secret is so safe with me. By the way, I didn't wanna say this in front of Chandler. He got me into his group so I wouldn't have to lose my favorite blanket".
"That's harsh," Stella said.
"I know," Richie said. "I'm off; later".
"See ya Richie," Lincoln and Stella said.
"One day, Chandler's gonna feel very bad for messing with us," Lincoln said.
"I bet it'll make him want to leave Royal Woods," Stella said.
The 2 couldn't help but giggle.
"It's getting hot just holding my hand with you," Stella said.
"I know," Lincoln said. "I wish we can stay like this a bit longer".
The two of them stepped inside.
After ordering their burgers, they sat down and munched on them. A few bites in, Stella gave a loud burp.
"Now I see why they're called belching burgers," she said.
"They're the best," Lincoln said.
"Lincoln," Stella said nervously. "When you said you wanted to hold my hand a bit longer, I want to do that too".
This gave Lincoln a wake up call to remember.
"What did you say?" he asked with a more shocked look on his face.
"I honestly got nervous about what may happen between us," Stella answered. "My head's saying no, but my heart is saying go on to the next step".
"My goodness," Lincoln said. "You must really want to do this".
That was when he saw that a little karaoke party was happening.
"Hey Stella," he said. "How would you like to keep holding my hand during a little duet?"
Now Stella was shocked.
"A duet?" she asked.
Stella couldn't help but blush.
"Okay," she said nervously.
Lincoln and Stella went over to the MC of the event.
"What song do you wanna throw down?" he asked.
They suggested High School Musical's "Breaking Free". The 2 of them held hands during the entire thing.
"I got your back," Lincoln said.
"Okay," Stella commented. "I trust you".
The 2 of them sang their hearts out, not knowing they were still holding hands. When the song ended, everyone who was watching clapped and cheered for them.
Neither Lincoln nor Stella could hold back any giggles. It was quite the enjoyment. When the two of them left, they ran into Liam and Mollie.
"Hey guys," Lincoln said. "What's up?"
"Not much," Mollie said to Lincoln and Stella.
"We were just about to get some burgers," Liam said.
"We just came out," Stella said. "They are even having a little karaoke party".
"What song did the two of you sing?" Liam asked.
"Breaking Free," Lincoln and Stella said together.
Mollie then asked, "you watch High School Musical too?"
"We ain't big fans," Lincoln said.
"But we do know some of the songs by heart," Stella added.
"Everyone loved our performance".
"Cool," Liam said. "Well, see ya later guys. Let's go Mollie".
She and Liam held hands while walking inside.
"Wow," Lincoln said. "Is it me or are some people in Royal Woods feeling like holding someone's hand today?"
"I wish I knew," Stella responded giggling.
Lincoln couldn't help but giggle either.
"Shall we stroll off?" Lincoln asked.
"Let's stroll indeed," Stella said grabbing Lincoln's hand.
As the two of them headed back towards Lincoln's house, they put a little groove in their step.
"I just love that song we did," Lincoln said.
"Me too," Stella commented.
"We're soarin'," Stella sang.
"Flyin'," Lincoln sang.
"There's not a star in heaven that we can't reach," they both sang.
"If we're tryin'," Lincoln sang.
"Yeah, we're breaking free," they both sang.
"That song is classic," Stella said.
They were having the time of their lives.
