Chapter 2: Hospital stay, Yoshi's feelings.
(They arrive at the hospital.)
Yoshi: "I gonna pay for it with my allowance! Daddy and Mama not have much money"
Happy: "That will probably cost a lot! When you broke your leg it costed $300! Do you really want to spend OVER HALF your allowance?"
Yoshi: "It will help Daddy out! Yeah!"
Happy: "They'll only let one in there at a time, with the exception of being disabled. Only you and Birdo can go in."
Yoshi: "OK… Can Daddy put Birdo on back?"
Happy: "Sure. Get out and I'll do that."
(Yoshi gets out of the car. Birdo looks at Yoshi and does the same.)
Yoshi: "HEY! Birdo feeling better! Can Birdo get on Yoshi's back?"
(Birdo climbs on Yoshi's back.)
Yoshi: "Me wish Birdo able to talk. Why there no mouth?"
Happy: "Dr. Tank should be able to help. Alright. I will see you later. I'll wait right here."
Yoshi: "OK! Bye Daddy!"
Happy: "Bye son!"
(Yoshi enters the hospital)
Nurse: "State of emergency please?"
Yoshi: "Not too bad. Birdo was frozen in snow for a month."
Nurse: "Alright. You qualify. One second."
(Birdo gets off ans sits down. Yoshi sits 2 seats away.)
Yoshi (whispering. Biro is unable to hear him): ""Yoshi think Birdo's tail is hot" crazy! Not just crazy but gross! Me not want that mature stuff. Yuck! Only girl me want is same one me wanted for long time now, which doesn't exist. A silly, immature, childish girl that can't grow up, that not talk right, just like me. Any other girl is gross and just friend. I not want all that adult stuff. And no body else can't grow up like Yoshi. Nobody. Me never gonna get a girlfriend. All girls want adult stuff, not to play like kids again."
Nurse: "Yoshi and Birdo, Dr. Tank will see you now."
Yoshi: "Alright Birdo let's go!"
(Yoshi walks over to Birdo and turns his back so Birdo can climb on. Birdo shakes her head and walks by but her legs fail and she falls.)
Yoshi: "BIRDO! GET ON YOSHI! NO FALL!"
(Birdo stands up and gets on Yoshi's back. Yoshi walks in the door.)
Dr Tank: "Good evening Yoshi. YIKES! Is that Birdo!?"
Yoshi: "Birdo out in cold weather for a month. She frozen. Me and Daddy dig her out. She not able to talk at all."
Dr. Tank: "Interesting. Sounds like she might be suffering from hypothermia. I will examine her for free and determine the cost afterwards."
Yoshi: "Alright."
Dr Tank: "It may take up to 1 hour. You might wanna wait. Will you wait outside or inside?"
Yoshi: "Outside."
Dr Tank: "The doctor will call you when ready."
(Yoshi waits outside while Tank is examining the damage)

(Birdo climbs on Yoshi's back.)

Yoshi: "OK! Bye Daddy!"
Happy: "Bye son!"
(Yoshi enters the hospital)
