AN: Hey ya'll so I'm back with an update for you with this one lol. It's not the best but it's done, I know I said it's a two shot but there will be one more part after this. In the meantime I will be working on updating and finishing the rest of my stories for you guys. Thanks for sticking with me and reading my work, I really appreciate it. That being said, I hope you guys like this chapter and I look forward to reading your reviews.
P.S. Take a shot for every time Nalaya is mentioned in this chapter lmao, also Sam is on birth control lol. There were no babies conceived in the making of this chapter(this time) hahaha. Also forgive me if the patronymic for Sam is wrong, I honestly don't know what it would be for her seeing as how Alexis is her mom and doesn't go by her real name. I just used her middle name for it.
New York City…
After Hayden got off the phone with Stefan and Julian she decided to click through the articles and see exactly just what she was dealing with. She started with the first headline she saw and clicked to see what kind of photos they had and almost breathed a sigh of relief. Almost, because while they didn't get any pictures of her godchild's face, the fact that they managed to get any at all with how careful Sam has been over the last year wasn't good. Her best friend had been prepared for the news of her having a baby getting out and let her know the very moment she decided she was going to take her baby girl outside for the first time. They had prepped for the potential media storm, and even made plans to do a photoshoot revealing her little girl and announcing her plans of returning to work in another eight weeks when it was time to start filming her new movie. What they hadn't prepared for was Drew getting thrown into the mix. Had Sam simply been alone it would've just been another January Jones or Mindy Kaling type of situation with the speculation of who her baby's father was and if she planned to be a single mother. Now there was no question in anyone's minds if Drew was this child's father, based on the way the pictures looked.
They looked like the perfect little family that was just beginning, the only question she could seem to find was when they got together and how they were able to keep it so private for so long. She had a feeling that if they decided to tell the truth and say that this was in fact their first time meeting nobody would ever believe them. The articles all point out how Drew's best friend is married to her and how his sister is engaged to be married to Sam's cousin, and how their families have worked together in their past business ventures, basically just pointing out all the ways the two are connected and yet have no pictures together. Hayden guessed that the one good thing about this is that most of the speculation was about Drew and Sam themselves and less focused on Nalaya. She just needed to figure out how to spin this but she'd do that in a few hours when Sam called her, right now she was just gonna write down some ideas and then go to sleep. After all it was 4am, she would need what little rest she could get before she and Sam got up to tackle the specifics.
London- The following afternoon…
Sam was rudely awoken from what had to be the best sleep of her life by someone pounding on her bedroom door. She groaned and went to roll over and get up but was blocked by Drew's arm tightening around her and pulling her closer. She smiled and nuzzled her face into his neck, perfectly content to just stay there when the knocking stopped. That is until she heard the knocking start sighed and kissed Drews neck and told him he didn't have to move before she got up, put a robe on and went to answer the door.
"Samantha Marie Alexandrovna Cassadine- Jerome!" Alexis called out from the other side of the door before it abruptly opened, revealing the annoyed face of her daughter.
"Yes mother?! How can I help you on this fine morning?" She asked sarcastically as she adjusted her robe.
"Morning?! Samantha do you even know what time it is?" Alexis asked in shock, her daughter never sleeps in, especially not after having her grandchild. They've even tried getting her to in hopes of her just taking a break and relaxing, but it never worked. Now it seems that all they had to do was get her a handsome young man to sweep her off of her feet and remind her that she's more than just a mother now. Any other day she would relish in the fact that her daughter had managed to find that happiness and what looked like peace outside of the joys and stresses of new motherhood, but today that happiness would just have to wait.
"No I haven't checked my phone, why? Is Nalaya okay? Did something happen? What time is it?" She asked, now concerned at the look on her mother's face.
"Nalaya is fine, something did happen though which is why I'm standing here at 1:00 in the afternoon wondering why I even have to knock when you're always awake by now." Alexis replied.
"IT'S ONE O'CLOCK?!" Sam asked her mom, looking at her like she had three heads. She knew that she had slept good, but damn she never slept this long. She looked over her shoulder when she heard the sheets ruffling and she remembered exactly why she slept so good and long last night. There were absolutely no regrets from her end but she was a little sad that she missed out on her and her daughters morning bonding time. "How was Laya, was she good for you this morning? Where is she?" She asked, her main focus now being her baby girl.
"She was an Angel as always, she's just being spoiled by your aunt and grandmother at the moment while I came to get you. You and Drew need to get dressed and meet us in the living room." Alexis responded before walking off.
"Mom?" Sam called out only to be ignored and told yet again to meet them in the living room. "Well that was weird." She said to herself as she closed the door.
"What was that about?" Drew asked as he wrapped his arms around her from behind and kissed her neck. She relished in his touch for a moment before turning around and kissing him.
"Good afternoon." She smiled, chuckling at the look on his face when she said afternoon instead of morning. "Yupp, it's a little after one in the afternoon." She told him. "Shocked me too. As for what that was about, well my mom didn't give any details but since she asked that the both of us meet her downstairs I imagine it's something important."
"Hmm, I never sleep that long but I can't say that I regret it. That was the best sleep of my life." He said honestly and kissed her again. "Is it bad that I just wanna get back in that bed and just spend the entire day with you, instead of finding out whatever it was that your mom woke us up for?" He asked between kisses.
"Mine too." She whispered against his lips. "And no, but as nice as that sounds we can't. We have to start our day, figure out what's going on and I need my kisses and cuddles from my baby girl. That is before she sees you and decides I'm minced meat." She teased with one last kiss and went to get some clothes.
"I hate that you're right but seeing that little face will make whatever the day brings that much more worth it. And I'm sorry to tell you this but it's only fair that you know now, before we proceed any further that you become minced meat to me too when she's around." He said jokingly serious, before following her lead and going to his bag to get some clothes.
She stood there in shock before smiling to herself. She knew he was joking but could tell that he was also being honest. She saw it in his eyes the second he laid them on her princess, he was a goner already. And if the very fast, very intense feelings that they already felt for each other after one day were any indication, he was going to be around for awhile. They were a packaged deal after all, so if he felt anything negative towards her daughter or being a mother then he would never have a chance with her. She had no plans of asking him to play daddy or anything to another man's child, but if she never finds the man she spent that drunken night with and they happened to get into a serious commitment with each other then down the road he would be the only father her daughter would ever know. By then if he wants to be her father then they'd go about making it a legal change, but that was down the road and she didn't know if it would ever happen so it was simply a hypothetical until or if that bridge ever happened to be crossed.
They showered together, brushed their teeth and got dressed before heading downstairs to her family and whatever news was awaiting them. When they got downstairs they were greeted by more than just her mother, grandmother and aunt. No in tow this time was her father, uncle and their head of security. Their presence set Sam on high alert and she knew she wouldn't like whatever it was they had to say. Gripping Drew's hand tighter they went to the couch and sat down completely ignoring the curious looks of the three men that were now inside of the room.
"Okay, so since Dad and uncle Stefan are here with Ben I assume that what you have to tell us is major?" She started, skipping all greetings and pleasantries as they got adjusted on the couch and everyone else decided to sit down as well.
Julian knew his daughter and her just ignoring their presence and just jumping straight into the reason they were here meant that she was preparing herself for bad news. He and Stefan ignored the rudeness of her not greeting them and just decided to follow her lead and get straight down to business, they had time for the rest later.
"Well it's pretty big but it's nothing bad, not necessarily." Julian stated.
"If it's not bad then why are you guys here, I'm assuming I'll need security. How is that not bad?"
"Samantha the world now knows about Nalaya." Stefan began, putting his hand up to stop her from speaking when he saw her about to react. He watched curiously as this Andrew fellow comforted her and immediately calmed her before he continued. "The paparazzi has pictures of the three of you leaving a grocery store and walking through the park together. Now before you freak out they didn't get pictures of her, outside of the door of her head with and without her little gray hat. They also don't know her gender but they do know she exists and because the three of you were together there is speculation that a secret affair with Andrew started a year ago resulting in you becoming pregnant and going into hiding."
"They also have pictures of your date last night at the ice skating rink, quite a few involve a very steamy looking kiss and a video of you two running off like teenagers." Julian finished.
"Oh god!" Sam groaned and put her face in her hands. This was the last thing she expected to hear. Well the news about Nalaya wasn't too shocking; she was expecting that to eventually make news with her little impromptu shopping trip for diapers when she was only supposed to walk her. No, it was the news of her and Drew that had her internally freaking out. They were together for a day and already everyone knew, and now they think he's the father of her child. The last thing she wanted was to inadvertently bring a whole bunch of attention to him, and the selfish part of her wanted their relationship to be hidden away from the world until they actually established a solid connection. Though, as she thought about it there was no doubt in her mind that their connection was sealed from the moment they laid eyes on each other. She just didn't want anything to ruin or threaten it, and the dread she felt in her stomach at the thought that this would bring it all to an end before it truly started made her nauseous.
Drew on the other hand wasn't worried and he didn't mind at all that people knew they were together already, he didn't even mind that they thought he was Nalaya's father. No, he only minded that Sam had worked so hard to keep her daughter from the public eye and to buy herself some time to find a way to break the news just to have it shattered. A story solely about her being a new mother and taking a walk after not being seen for months with a brand new baby was one thing. A story about her disappearing almost entirely for a year and then popping up with a secret family was another. If she told the world that they had just met that day and was chummy with her and her child, they'd think she was crazy. If she told the world that he wasn't the baby's father, they'd speculate about who the actual father was and if he was okay with Drew coming in to play daddy. If she decided to tell the whole truth about a drunken night and not knowing who the father of her child was, they'd call her a whore. He wouldn't let any of that happen and he had a feeling nobody else in the room with them would either.
He rubbed her back and took a deep breath. "Okay, so what's the plan here? The world knows about Sam having a child, they know that we're together. There's speculation about us having a secret relationship and then a baby together. Do they have any sort of facts other than the proof of us in fact spending the day together?"
"So you are together?" Julian asked curiously. Stefan just looked at him like now wasn't the time and the women rolled their eyes. Sam scoffed, because of course that would be the question that formed in her dad's mind at Drew's response.
"The plan is to provide security for you, Samantha and Nalaya until this blows over. That's why I'm here, Mrs. Barnes-Drake called your father and Uncle last night and let us know the situation. The main goal is to keep people away from the property but other than that whenever you guys leave you will have protection, one or two bodyguards when it's just you two, and five when the baby is with you. Sam I know you don't like it and you prefer us to watch from a distance if we are watching but you've been safely ensconced for a year now without protection 24/7 and things are now about to get crazy. Whether you like it or not you're gonna have security from now on." Ben said firmly. Ben was her aunt Ava's husband and the father of her two girls. He'd been working for her dad for years and had known her since she was five, so she didn't get too upset at the fact that he basically told her she had no choice but to take his protection. That didn't mean she had to like it though.
She sighed and begrudgingly nodded. "Okay, fine but when there's security on the premises please have them inside the gate, I don't wanna look like I'm living in Scarface's compound. And when we go to little places like the grocery store and we're together I don't need a security detail, you guys can follow us but don't get close unless there's literally paparazzi stalking us outside. When I'm alone you can come, when I'm alone with Nalaya you can come. I know going back to the states will involve more security measures and I'm okay with that but London paparazzi and fans aren't that invasive from what I've seen so far, even yesterday and last night people at the very least left us alone even if they did take pics and videos and nobody got Nalaya's face or gender even though I wasn't truly hiding her from anyone. In the states they wouldn't have stopped until they got a picture of her face, hell they would've ran up and asked her name. So the plan before we head back there is to reveal her to the world myself. I don't need any sources leaking information or rumors or lies spread about her. All facts are going to come straight from me, I talked to Hayden about this before. I guess parts of that plan will have to be changed now that Drew is involved but we'll figure it out. I have to call her." Sam stated.
"Don't worry, I called her a couple of hours ago and put her on the private Jet, she and Patrick are on their way and should be here tonight after dinner." Her aunt Kristina said.
"Thank you." Sam said breathing a sigh of relief. "Now is that it? Because I'd very much love to see my baby girl right now."
"One more thing." Her father started.
"Yes."
"How long has this thing been a thing?" He asked, pointing between her and Drew.
"Honey I already explained this to you this morning." Alexis cut in before Sam or Drew had the chance to answer.
"If mom already told you, why do you want to know?"
"Because I want to make sure you're telling the truth when you tell me your story." Julian stated matter-of-factly.
"We've only been together since yesterday."
"How long have you known each other?"
"Since Hayden's party last year." She stated, sticking to her story. She knew her dad wanted to poke holes in their story because he was overprotective and didn't like any men coming into her life but she wasn't going to let him try to get her on this. Plus, the more she mentioned meeting him that night at the party, the more it sounded true, and the more she wondered if it was in fact true. Drew did too, every time Hayden's party gets brought up he thinks there's something he's missing, well he knows it since he was blackout drunk but maybe it was his meeting Sam that's been blocked out, he hoped that he'd remember soon or maybe he'd have to ask Patrick.
"Is he the one that got you pregnant?" Stefan asked, his mom had thrown that question out there to them this morning like she did to Kristina and Alexis yesterday. Now they were all wondering if it was possible since Sam insists that they met that night. She could be saying it just to say it but somehow he believed that it was true, whether she's saying it out of honesty or not. They'd find out though if he was, they had their ways after all, but Stefan preferred to be direct.
The reactions in the room were almost comical if he wasn't serious he may have laughed at the looks of shock, the gasps, and the coughing as his sister choked on her drink. It wasn't funny though, he wanted to know.
"Uncle Stefan, you know that I don't remember who I was with that night and I woke up in Lucky's bed the next morning. Why would Drew and I sleep together only for me to end up waking up in a completely different place?" Sam responded, she didn't think that Drew even at his drunkest would let her leave him that night. They hadn't even talked about that night or how Nalaya was conceived and she had planned on telling him, just not like this. Now though she was curious about how that night went for him. Maybe her uncle was onto something.
"Andrew, do you remember that night? Did something similar happen to you?" Stefan questioned further, trying to see if he could maybe spark something that would bring forth more information to support his mother's theory.
Drew was still mulling over Sam's response and now he was more curious about that night than ever because contrary to what Sam might think. He was drunk enough to not even notice that she had left if he did in fact sleep with her that night. It would explain how he woke up in his best friends guest room stark naked and completely hungover. He's been blackout drunk a few times in his life but never had he woken up in a room that wasn't his in his birthday suit with no memory. He snapped out of it when he heard Stefan's second question and he shook his head. "I woke up in Patrick and Hayden's guest room, naked with no memory of how I got like that or what happened. There were no signs of there being anyone in the room with me though. Outside of the morning after and what I did before the party, I couldn't tell you anything about that night outside of meeting Sam." He added, almost forgetting that their meeting was a part of their cover story.
"Kristina could you bring Nalaya in here please?" Stefan asked, turning to his sister and she nodded knowing what he was planning to do. "It seems Andrew that both of my nieces are very taken with you and it seems now we may have an inkling as to why. Outside of a genuine connection that is. I'm not sure if Samantha had told you or not but our little princess does not take kindly to strangers, based on the few that she has met and yet she came to you like a moth to a flame if the pictures I saw were any indication. And you seemed to be quite taken with her as well, I'd like to see the connection for myself if you don't mind." He said as his sister brought his grandniece into the room and handed her to her mother who lit up as soon as she saw the precious little face. He watched intently as Drew's face lit up too and the two of them instantly forgot about the whole situation and everyone else in the room as they doted on who he now just instinctively knew was their little girl. Now the only thing left to do was to get irrefutable evidence.
Later that night…
"So you two decide on what you wanted to do about this news breaking out?" Hayden asked as soon as she and Patrick entered the house.
"Sorry guys, she's been in nonstop work mode since four this morning. Don't mind her." Patrick said, chuckling and hugging Sam and Drew.
"It's okay, I get it." Sam responded before turning to greet her best friend and PR manager. "I'm sure you've been getting calls, texts and emails all day. Sorry that you had to fly all the way out here for this."
"No worries, I'm sure you can probably guess that I'm not here solely to help you. We have some much needed girl time to catch up on and I've missed my goddaughter." Hayden responded after they broke their hug and she went to greet Drew. "But first things first, business." She added, walking to the couch and plopping down.
"You know I don't think I've ever seen her in action, this is fascinating." Drew whispered to Patrick when Sam walked away to go sit with Hayden.
"Yeah she's like a dog with a bone, especially when the business pertains to Sam. Come on, you definitely don't wanna piss cujo off when she's in her zone." Patrick laughed and patted Drew on the shoulder and headed into the living room with the girls.
"Okay so I've got Vogue, Vanity Fair, and People's magazine all calling me to do a cover shoot of you guys and the baby, along with an exclusive interview. Jimmy Kimmel wants to interview you, Sam and Drew Men's Health magazine has called me saying they've been trying to get you to do a cover shoot and workout video with them for a while now, but you've never had the time. They see this as an opportunity for you and them to capitalize now that you have the public's attention. Now the question is what are you two okay with and how do you wanna go about revealing the truth? I say we continue as planned with the People magazine shoot you and I had talked about doing before with you and Nalaya, Sam. The only issue with that now is that if we do it as planned everyone's going to wonder why Drew wasn't involved and how to spin that. Vanity Fair and Vogue can have shoots of you alone and do the interview about motherhood and all of that stuff, if you're okay with it and I think the Kimmel interview would be a nice touch as well. Your fans miss you so at least this way they'd be able to see you on their screens again in some form. Drew I think you should do the Men's Health shoot and video as well, they are right about it being good for you. So what do you guys think?"
"I think we should do all of it, except with the People Magazine shoot and interview it should include the three of us as a family, not just me and Nalaya as planned." Sam started. She didn't know how to explain the events of the last few hours and the reason why she wanted to include Drew in the photo shoot, but before she could start speaking again Hayden beat her to it.
"Okay? Are we going to go along with the speculation and let people believe Drew is Nalaya's father then? I mean it'll be hard to fake proof of a relationship but it's not impossible. Helena told me that you guys say you met at our party that night so we could go from there. It wouldn't be a stretch, you guys did meet that night. We can just leave out the bit about how you guys haven't seen each other or spoke to each other since yesterday after Sam had finally asked for your number."
"Thank you for confirming that and no, we're not going to lie. Well... not about how we met or who Nalaya's father is. They don't need to know just how our relationship truly started or proof of its existence or nonexistence over the last year."
"Wait a minute, are you saying that…"
"Drew is Nalaya's father." Hayden spoke, interrupting her husband mid question. "Is that why you woke up in the guestroom stark naked that morning? How did you get to Lucky's? Did you guys remember?" She asked her friends while her husband just listened in shock.
"We don't know anything for sure but Sam's uncle seemed to come to that conclusion earlier today and got us thinking. Neither one of us remember anything still but the more we think about it, the more it makes sense and with you confirming that we did meet that night it just gives more evidence to us to at least get a test." Drew answered.
"A test which we already took a couple of hours ago and the results will be in, in a few days. After we get the results we're going to go to the island where Drew's family will visit and meet us so we can get them on board and they can meet the newest member of their family. We'll be there for a week and by then Laya will be two months old and we'll do the People Magazine shoot. Drew's going to extend his trip while we do that and then he's going to fly back home and once the magazine comes out, Nalaya and I will follow. When we're back in the states I can do the rest of the interview and shoots." Sam followed up.
"Well it sounds like a plan, but I have to ask… what if the results don't prove Drew is her father?" Hayden asked.
"If the results prove I'm not the father then we will still proceed as planned." Drew replied firmly. He knew that this could be a long shot but he just knew after today in his heart of hearts that Sam's beautiful little angel was his little girl, and blood or not he was meant to be her father.
"Okay good, that's great. For the record I hope you're the father, it would only be fitting plus my honorary niece couldn't ask for a better man to be her father. Now in the meantime, while we wait for these test results and the photo shoots and everything we need to work on how you guys wanna confirm your relationship. Do you wanna do a planned pap walk and confirm it without saying anything? Or do you wanna go the more direct route and post something on Instagram and link it to your Facebook and Twitter accounts? Or just wait for the interviews? Or all of the above?"
Sam and Drew looked at each other for a moment having their own little silent conversation with their eyes before Sam answered. "We'll just go with a social media post, I already have the pictures I want to post in mind." The pictures in mind included one of them cuddling in bed, her smiling as he kissed her shoulder. Them out on their date last night, foreheads leaned against each other as the streets of London at night played in the background. The last one was of them kissing in the kitchen today, thanks to her nosy grandma. She showed them to Hayden who had to remind herself to keep her business hat on and not swoon like she normally would had she just been shown these on any other day.
"Yeah these are perfect, now you just need a caption."
"We got it."
Over the next few days Sam and Drew's phones were filled with notifications, so much so that they had to turn off alerts for their social media accounts. Good thing they had separate emails for personal and business things. Sam had gained a million new followers adding to her already twenty million, those million being Drew's followers, who hadn't already been following her. Drew himself had gained twelve million followers from her fanbase. Their pictures which were simply captioned with a him and her on each of their respective pages, blew up and went straight from their social media accounts to being spread all over the internet by fans and blogs. They went out a couple of times because being cooped up in the house with her family and their friends wasn't something they favored too much and thankfully weren't bombarded by paparazzi or fans, although a few people had asked for pictures and they were nice and agreed to the photos.
Drew's apartment had been a much needed respite for them to have alone time away from the limelight and everyone at her house, except Nalaya who they brought with them two out of the three times that they just needed to breathe. The main good thing about all of this is that it kept their minds off of the results from the test which they would be getting back tomorrow. It also gave them time to spend getting to know each other better and the more they did, the more they started to realize how fast they were falling for one another. Although, neither one of them would dare say those three little words out loud just yet, even if they did feel them already. The time they spent together with their daughter just solidified those feelings even more. For Drew watching Sam be a mother was the most beautiful thing in the world and he was so happy that he could witness and be a part of it, whether she ended up being his daughter biologically now or legally down the line. Seeing the two of them together made him realize just how much he wanted to see the sight of them every single day for the rest of his life. He vowed that he would have that life with them and that nothing would make him ever lose them again.
For Sam it was pretty much the same, it was one thing seeing the man you were falling in love with dote on your child. It was another seeing the man you're falling in love with dote on his child. She no longer had any doubts about Nalaya being his biological daughter, after watching them together over the last few days she'd bet her life on it. Watching them together made her heart smile and she was just grateful that he got to be here now and that he only missed six weeks of her life and that they didn't miss any more time with each other. All those father daughter moments that she had in her life and thought her daughter would grow up without will now happen and she couldn't be happier. Her baby girl was going to grow up with two people that loved her unconditionally as they would love each other. She could see the rest of their lives play out in front of her as she watched them together. She realized that now more than ever she wanted to have that life and everything that came with it, forever and she would never let it slip through her fingers again.
The next day came too quickly for their liking, especially since they were woken up early by Alexis calling them to let them know that the results were in and to get back to the house. Neither Sam or Drew were really in any rush to read the results that would say what they already knew but they got up, showered, got themselves and Nalaya dressed before doing as told and heading back to Sam's house. When they got there everyone was already up, breakfast was waiting and the results sat there on the kitchen island like a beacon calling to them. Not wanting to get into them just yet and to make the family wait just a little longer, they decided that breakfast was probably the way to go first. So with that everyone sat down and ate, talking about little things here and there entertaining Sam and Drew who knew everyone was just impatiently waiting for them to open the results. They just wanted to see who would crack first. To no one, except maybe Drew's surprise it was Helena who cracked first, after all it was her who had the hunch of him being her great granddaughters father in the first place. She wanted to know and she wanted to know now, there's nothing she loved more outside of her family that is, than being right.
Sam chuckled and stood up from the table. "Alright grandmother hen, cool your jets. I'm pretty sure we all already know what they say, but I know we can't stop you from celebrating being right." She said jokingly before opening the results. "So here goes nothing. In the case of seven week old Princess Nalaya Rhae Cassadine, Andrew Logan Quartermaine… you are the father." She revealed with her best Maury impression, trying not to cry tears of happiness. That was all shot to hell though when Drew got up to hug her and she noticed the tears in his eyes.
"I guess it's official then, huh?" He whispered against her hair.
"What?" She asked with a sniffle as she held her head on his chest.
He pulled back and grabbed her face, bringing her eyes to his. " We're a family now. You've just given me the greatest gift a man could ever ask for." He said with a smile before softly kissing her lips.
"We are. I couldn't be happier." She responded and hugged him again.
A throat cleared behind them and they smiled before turning around. Julian walked up to them and stretched out his hand for Drew to take. "I guess I'll be the first to say it. Welcome to the family, son."
"Thank you sir." Drew said respectfully and shook his hand.
Julian turned to his daughter next. "Congratulations princess, I'm so happy you found the missing piece to your puzzle." He said as he hugged her.
"Thank you daddy. I love you."
"I love you too darling."
Right after Julian came Alexis, and then everyone else that had been staying at the house saying words of congratulation to Sam and welcoming Drew officially into the fold. Until Molly, who after congratulating them, asked them if this meant that they would get married now and have a soccer team full of other nieces and nephews for her to spoil. Which had their mother horrified, their father choking on his drink, and everyone else laughing while Sam and Drew blushed. They kindly explained to her that none of that would happen right now but who knows what the future held and until then she should continue to spoil and dote on Nalaya since she was still the baby of the family and loved her aunt Molly's attention. It didn't appease her, being the hopeless romantic that she was but it was enough to get her off of their backs, which had all of the adults in the room breathing a collective sigh. It did get everyone thinking though so when Sam and Drew left the room to go talk in private, and Molly went to be with the baby in the nursery the remaining adults all took bets on just when and how fast the little girl's questions about Sam and Drew's future would be answered.
"Ten bucks says that the hens and roosters and in there right now just pecking away after these results and Molly's questions." Sam said with a laugh, once they entered her bedroom and closed the door.
"I wouldn't doubt it. I saw the looks that crossed their faces after we explained to her that nothing was going to happen right away." He said with a smile. "Although…" He pulled her into his arms. "I wouldn't be against at least practicing the many different ways to make the answer to Molly's second question come true."
He wiggled his eyebrows and Sam burst into laughter. "Cool it mister, you just officially found out you were a father today. You and Molly's little soccer league will have to wait, though practice does make perfect after all and we've only gotten a few lessons in over the past week…" She trailed off as her hands made their way to the buttons of his shirt. A little practice never hurt anyone.
"Hmm, I think I need a few refreshers on those lessons." He whispered huskily.
"I think we both do." She whispered back before he pulled her into a steamy kiss that set her insides on fire. After that it was pretty much game over, clothes came flying off and books were knocked off of the bookshelf by the door as Drew picked her up and sat her on it. "Shhh, we don't want the roosters to come knocking." She pulled back from their kiss and warned jokingly.
Drew just smiled deviously. "Let them come." He commented nonchalantly before he kissed her again and put his hand in her panties feeling just how wet she was for him. She moaned and he smirked. "Besides they know we're busy. So if anyone comes knocking they'd better be prepared to be traumatized. Because I'm only just getting started and I'm not stopping until you tap out."
"Good luck with that." She taunted and bit his lip.
"I don't need luck." He said before plunging two fingers inside of her throbbing wet pussy, forcing her to call out his name.
"Oh God." She moaned as his talented fingers quickly worked her into a frenzy. "Fuck!" She half moaned, half screamed when he hit that spot inside of her that drove her crazy. She was almost there when he spoke again.
"Don't cum yet." He commanded. He knew if he let her cum now that she really wouldn't tap out, after her first orgasm the woman was like the energizer bunny, she would just keep going until they were both exhausted and couldn't move. He had to draw it out of her slowly but surely.
Was he crazy?! She thought to herself silently. This man really had the audacity to command her not to cum all over his fingers when he was doing everything in his power to make sure she had no other choice. "I can't hold back, I have to." She helplessly moaned as she continued to ride her way to that glorious peak and then he removed his fingers. Sam had never wanted to slap someone more than she did in that moment.
He saw her frustration and smiled before licking his fingers, closing his eyes at the taste of her on his lips. "What? I said not yet." He said before picking her up and carrying her over to the bed.
This time he took his time with her, worshipping every part of her body. Making sure to kiss and lick every inch of her before meeting her lips again and entering her slowly. He only had to thrust a few times before she was breaking apart in his arms but he didn't stop. He kept going and slowly picked up the pace, he meant it when he said he was just getting started. He said he was going to make her tap out and he meant it. Every lick, every touch, every kiss and caress was deliberately done to drive her closer and closer to the edge. Perfectly timed with each long, deep stroke that she met with a thrust of her own. He wasn't foolish enough to believe that she was so wrapped up in her own pleasure that she wouldn't try to turn the tables on him and make him tap out before her. Especially since she scraped her nails down his back, bit on his ear, grabbed his ass and whispered Greek words between her moans, while her pussy tightened around him just the way she knew would fuck him up. It worked just the way she hoped when his thrusts started to become more erratic and he reached down and circled her clit just right, making them cum together.
The orgasm rocked through her whole body and she was shook at the intensity of it, especially when he just kept going through his and she had no time to recover or catch her breath through the aftershocks. She went from one explosion straight into another one and before she even knew what was happening she was seeing stars and felt a gush of wetness come down all over her stomach. She knew it couldn't have been Drew though, since he was still stroking his way into making her see heaven. The moment his thumb touched her clit again she could've sworn that she had an outer body experience and she could see herself as her eyes rolled to the back of her head and her nails drew blood on his muscular back. It was unlike anything she ever experienced before and as she came back into her body she knew she had to tap out or this man would literally have her seeing Jesus, and she wasn't ready for all of that just yet. So when he finally came inside of her and collapsed on her chest she tapped his shoulder twice and said the words she knew he wanted to hear.
"I tap out." She said breathlessly.
"Good." He let out an out of breath chuckle. "Because I was about to tap out for you." He admitted and laid his head down in the crook of her neck.
If she had the energy she probably would've pushed him off of her but he felt too good on top of her and she wasn't really mad anyway. She just made a silent vow to return the favor and make him tap out another day. Right now she just wanted to lay here in his arms feeling nothing but the pure and unadulterated satiation that came from making love to the man of her dreams.
The next day- The Cassadine Jet…
"Are you sure your family is okay with coming to the island for this?" Alexis asked Drew, genuinely curious to know.
"Yeah, they've been itching to meet Sam and their newest family member since the pictures of the three of us came out. They had a lot of questions, obviously but I told them they'd know everything when they made it to the island." Drew answered. He was anxious for everyone to finally be in one room together and for his family to meet his daughter, especially his grandma. He told his grandmother everything, not being able to lie to her about any of it and she simply chuckled and told him that the heart has a long memory and that while their minds might not remember the connection they shared that night, their hearts did and sometimes it has a funny way of refreshing it for you. When he told Sam she almost cried because of the truth in that one statement and then told him she couldn't wait to meet the woman with such wise wisdom.
"How about you sweetheart? Are you ready to meet your new family?"
"Yes, but really I'm just ready for Nalaya to meet the other half of her family. I want them to meet the sweet little being that their son, grandson, and brother created with me."
"It's definitely been a long time in the making. Now we have something other than Nikolas and Emily's engagement to celebrate with both families."
"Nikolas still insists that they're not having an engagement party before their wedding, Natasha." Stefan chimed in.
"He can insist until he's as blue in the face as a smurf, they will have that party before their wedding." Helena added firmly.
"Yes mother, because we all know just how much Nikolas loves obeying your every command. You know he's been on his rebellious kick lately, he may elope just to spite you." Kristina commented sarcastically.
"Do you want to go in the back?" Sam turned and asked Drew as her family started to bicker about Nikolas and what he would or wouldn't do just to get a rise out of their grandmother. She knew it would be like this for the next two hours of the flight and she had no plans of sitting here and listening to it this time.
"Yeah." He said breathing a sigh of relief as they got up and headed to the bedroom in the back of the jet. Hayden and Patrick were watching Nalaya and Molly in the section just before the bedroom and he smiled at them, they were really good with kids. He was glad Sam picked them and Nikolas and Emily as their daughter's godparents.
"I can not wait until this flight is over, I just want to be back on land. I can't wait to show you around the island and let you see all of my favorite spots. Maybe we can take Nalaya and Molly down to the beach and just spend some time together. " Sam said, plopping down onto the bed when they entered the room.
"I'm looking forward to you showing me around and I think we should take the girls down to the beach. That could be fun. Does Nalaya like the water?" He asked curiously as he laid beside her.
"Oh she loves water, she's a total water baby. I know we have to wait awhile before she can actually experience the ocean and everything but I look forward to the days where we can take her swimming and out on a boat."
"I can't wait for those days but until then I don't mind taking beach trips with you guys and just watching the waves and soaking up the sun. Maybe after we take Nalaya and Molly to the beach we can go back at night and just look at the stars and snuggle or something?" He suggested.
"You wanna look at the stars and snuggle with me?" She smiled softly.
"I want to do everything and anything with you." He told her sincerely.
"Will you ever not cease to amaze me?"
"Not if I can help it." He smiled.
"How did I get so lucky?" She asked turning to fully face him and caress his face.
"I've been asking myself that since the moment I laid my eyes on you in that baby isle that day." He said, trying to hold back a yawn.
"The best day of my life outside of having our daughter." She responded herself before yawning. He chuckled before pulling her into his arms and kissing her softly.
"Wanna take a nap?"
"I thought you'd never ask." She said settling herself in his arms and laying her head against his chest. Drew ran his fingers through her hair and let her fall asleep before falling asleep himself, but not before thinking about how she and their daughter were the best things to ever happen to him and vowing that he would make sure that they knew it everyday for the rest of his life.
