"Let's check out the auto show now that that's done." Makoto grinned.
She was having fun. It wasn't often in her new job that she got to go on a date! She grinned at Kevin.
"You're a girl." Kevin stated.
"Well spotted." Makoto grinned more.
"And you actually like this stuff?" Kevin questioned.
"I live alone." Makoto admitted. "My parents died when I was a kid. When I was sixteen I built my first car and learned to drive on my own. Ever since then, I've been into cars. Especially custom jobs like that!"
She ran over to a custom build and parroted off a million questions to the owner.
Kevin watched Makoto incredulously. And maybe he liked her, she hoped.
Makoto rushed over to Kevin and handed him half the snack she bought.
"If this is a...Y'know...date..." Kevin said shyly. "Shouldn't I do the buying?"
"You can if you wanna." Makoto grinned. "If it makes ya feel better, pay me back."
Kevin fished out the money and paid her, reeling at how laid back she was.
Fireworks went off in honor of Makoto's fight. The Plumbers must be celebrating.
Makoto faced Kevin only to find him leaning towards her. They kissed as the fireworks went off in a broad finale.
