After a chase across the rooftops, Judy finally regained ground on the fleeing fugitive.

Finally, they reached the edge of a building, the next one too far away to leap for, and only a 20 story straight down drop to the pavement below. No fire escapes this time.

The other bunny turned to face Judy, paws up. "Looks like you got me. I might as well give up."

Judy stepped forward. "You're going to pay for what you did to Nick."

"What I did? You did that yourself."

Judy hesitated. "Yeah, well you made me do it. It was because you were threatening him with your-"

Judy realized her mistake, the weapon left unaccounted for. The other rabbit leapt at her, knife redrawn. Judy barely dodged out of the way.

"Don't have your taser with you this time, do you?" The other rabbit said as Judy furiously dodged the attacks. "Because you wasted it on your friend. Admit it, you found it funny."

Judy was taken off guard. The fugitive jumped in and knocked her off her feet, pinning her to the rooftop, knife held over her.

"Admit it."

"Who are you?!" Judy cried. Judy rotated so she was on her back. Punching out, she hit her opponent's face, there was a crack, and Judy was immediately worried she broke something. Turns out she did, contact lenses.

Judy's opponent cried out and pulled the lens fragments from her eye. Judy froze.

It was almost like looking into a mirror. Beside the tattoos, the ragged fur somehow strangely familiar, the eyes formerly green, were now purple, just like her own. But where in Judy's eyes there was enthusiasm and light, in the eyes of her opponent, red from the broken lens, but uninjured, was only cruelty.

No time to think. Judy kicked out with her legs, sending her opponent flying. Right off the edge of the building.

Fortunately it was in the direction they came from, this side of the building with a fire escape.

As the other rabbit tumbled down the fire escape's stairs, Judy chased after her. When the fugitive stopped tumbling, she let out a moan and laid there unmoving. Judy took out her handcuffs.

When Judy arrived back at the cop car, Nick was already there, standing there waiting. He looked slightly uncomfortable on his feet, but he seemed otherwise fine.

As they loaded the prisoner in the back of the car, Judy turned to Nick.

"Are you okay?" She asked shyly.

"Fine," he said with as straight of a face as possible. "Here's your taser back."

As they got in the car and headed back to the station, Judy couldn't look at Nick. She couldn't stop thinking about what the fugitive had said. Yes she felt bad for Nick, but she also couldn't help but feel amused by it too. But wasn't that normal? Didn't everybody find it funny when one got hurt... Well, like that? Especially one as... something... as Nick.

Judy once again began to blush. She tried to hide it, but Nick noticed. He just rolled his eyes.

As they continued to drive, Judy looked back at the back seat of the police car, and their prisoner watching them closely, one eye still green, the other purple, a perfect reflection of Judy's own.
