Chapter 2
The next day, Nala was looking after her younger brother Mheetu and Sarabi and Mufasa's daughter Cora, who are both cubs and around the same age, Ni and Sarafina had Mheetu first and a day later Sarabi gave birth to Cora, they both became best friends just like their older siblings, Cora would often ask Nala what her older brother was like, since he left before she was born. Nala would explain and would often cry for her best friend who is also the one she loves.
Meanwhile Sarabi and Mufasa were walking through the dead pride lands, scouting to hopefully find some prey to hunt, that's when they heard Scar, they hid behind a rock and listened in to his chat with the hyenas, "Zira can never give me a healthy heir they always end up dying, so im going to make Nala my mate, and if she doesn't accept, ill kill that brat of her brother and Mufasa's daughter", the hyenas just laughed their evil hyena laughed a sign that they accepted the plan. Sarabi and Mufasa were shocked they could lose their daughter; they ran to go and warn the others.
"When they arrived in the den, they saw Nala talking to Cora and Mheetu and Ni and Sarafina chatting in the corner, they came up to them and said weve got to get Nala, Cora and Mheetu out of the pride lands as soon as possible. 'Why', they all said in unison, Sarabi and Mufasa, explained what they overheard when Scar was plotting with the hyenas, they all, had shocked expressions and agreed that Nala should leave with Cora and Mheetu. And so they all went to the border by the desert, "their should be a jungle with plenty of food and water for you all, go their" said Sarabi.
"Ill miss you mummy and daddy", said Cora, Mufasa and Sarabi embraced their daughter, "were so proud of you, you'll be safe their and hopefully well see you again", they let of tears and hugged their daughter again, NI and Sarafina did the same with Mheetu and Nala. Nala, Mheetu and Cora all hugged their parents one last time, said there goodbyes and left, the parents watched their children for a while watching their forms slowly disappear over the horizon, with tears in their eyes, but they knew it was best for their safety.
They had been walking for over 4 hours now, Cora and Mhueetu on Nala's back, since they were cubs they needed a lot of food, but due to the pride lands state they couldn't eat a lot and were very malnourished and thirsty, "what are we going to do", said Nala, then Cora spotted some greenery ahead and alerted Nala, they all smiled and Nala ran with the cubs on her back to the jungle, they entered the beautiful green jungle, due to their thirst all three were drawn towards the river to get a much needed drink of water. Once they were quenched their thirst, Nala said "Im going to find us some food, stay here and if you need anything just call me", both cubs nodded and Nala went of her way to find food, only she would find much more than just food.
"Nala had been searching for around 2 minutes when a green bird came up to her and said, "why hello their my name is Banai, may I ask what brings you to these parts", Nala replied to Banai with "My name is Nala, I am from the pride lands, I have come here since the evil king Scar wanted me to be his mate and if I refused he would kill my little brother and the former king and queens daughter, so our parents instructed us to leave for our safety", Banai was shocked because he heard what Simba said about his best friend Nala, the way he described her was exactly as the lioness he was looking at her, blue eyes and cream coloured fur strong(btw Nala's fur doesn't turn into a beige colour it remains creamy like in the second film)/strong and Banai heard about his uncle Scar and the former king and queen must be Simba's parents, she was also a teen around the same age as Simba. Banai then asked Nala "Were the former king and queen's names Sarabi and Mufasa", Nala nodded he then said "Did they have a son named Simba", Nala was shocked and said "Yes he was my best friend", Banai was smiling he then asked "So is Mufasa alive", Nala nodded, Banai smiled, since he knows Simba could be happy since the one he loves is here and his father is alive, he then told Nala to follow him so she did.
"After following Banai for a few seconds Nala began to wonder how Banai knew about Simba, and what Scar did to Mufasa, then Banai stopped and landed, Nala saw another teenage lion, around her age, although he was very strong for his, age, he seemed familiar to her with his golden fur, red mane, and amber eyes. strong(btw Simba's fur does not turn an orange colour when he gets older like in the second film it remains gold like Mufasa's)/strong, Banai then spoke and said "Simba this is your best friend Nala", Simba and Nala were both shocked by this statement and both said each other's names at the same time, they both nodded. And said "Its you its really you", then ran to each other and brought each other into a tight hug whilst Banai smiled.
"Simba I cant believe its you, I thought you were dead", she said whilst crying, Simba stroked her back and said "Its okay Nala I missed you too", the two kept hugging not saying anything just being comfortable with hugging and feeling each other's soft fur. Simba then remembered the promise he made himself. He then said "Nala", "yes Simba" she replied whilst still hugging him and feeling his mane that was growing in over Simba's head and under his chin. "I made a promise to myself that I would tell you something if I were to ever see you again even if it were for only 30 seconds, and If you hate me then I completely understand", "I could never hate you Simba, now what is it you needed to tell me", she said whilst still hugging him. "Nala ever since I left I missed my parents, Rafiki, Zazu, all of my friends, but the one I missed the most was you, Nala whilst ive been in the jungle ive realised that I love you and I always have", Nala shed a few tears at his words then said 'really Simba', Simba said 'yes', Nala hugged Simba even tighter and said "Oh Simba I love you too, and never want to be without you again", Simba was so happy, the girl of his dreams loves him back, he then said "So Nala will you be my girlfriend", Nala then said "Yes Simba yes, yes, yes, a million yes, Ill be your girlfriend"
"Simba was so happy, and said "Thank you great kings you granted my wish", Nala smiled, and then looked at Simba, both stared at each other deeply and then moved their muzzles together and locked their lips together sharing their first kiss, they held the kiss for over 15 seconds and then slowly disconnected their lips, they both started to nuzzle each other and Banai just smiled and said, "Simba you must be very happy since you missed Nala so much", "Oh I am Banai I am, Im finally with the one I love the most", Nala was so happy to hear those words and placed her lips on his and this time the kiss lasted for over 5 minutes, they both stuck their tongues in each other mouths and had a little tongue war. They were both glad that they got to have their first kisses with the one they loved the most, when Simba and Nala finally stopped kissing, they just stared at each other with love in their eyes and Nala rested her head on Simba's chest and said 'I love you Simba' Simba replied with 'I love you too Nala, more than anything, then two screams could be heard ones that Simba and Banai didn't recognise but Nala did, Nala separated from Simba and said "That was Cora and Mheetu, they're only cubs and they must be in trouble come on", Simba didn't say anything and started running towards the location of the screams.
With Simba and Nala running and Banai flying above they arrived at a cliff and two cubs could be seen, one with creamy fur and a small orange tuft of a mane, and the other was a brown cub that sort of resembled his mother although without the beige colour fur. Both cubs said 'Nala help us', both Simba and Nala could not reach them, then Simba started climbing down the cliff, he dug his claws into the rock to hold, down and began climbing down, once he was level with Cora and Mheetu, he told them to jump on his back they were hesitant then Nala said 'trust him', although she was worried for both the cubs and Simba's safety. Once Cora and Mheetu were on his back, he said 'hold on', both cubs held onto him tighter and Simba began climbing up everyone except Banai shocked how strong he is for a teenager, once up, Mheetu and Cora got off Simba's back and embraced Nala.
Cora was wondering who the lion was that saved her and wondered why he looked familiar since his partially grown mane and his fur were same colour as their fathers. She went up to Simba and said "Thank you for saving our lives", Simba replied with "Your welcome, what is your name", 'Cora', she replied and then said "that's Mheetu, Nala's little brother im sure you've already met Nala", Simba said "I have shes my best friend, well now girlfriend", Nala smiled then walked up to Simba and nuzzled him, the cubs were surprised, then Cora said "Whats your name", 'Simba', he replied, after hearing that Cora immediately ran up to Simba and hugged his leg, Simba was shocked but wrapped his other paw around her and hugged her back. "Simba, your alive, I cant believe my big brother is alive, mum and dad, miss you so much", Simba was shocked and said "Wait mum and dad as in king Mufasa and Queen Sarabi", Cora nodded, Simba then said 'Dad is alive', 'yes' said Cora, Simba was confused. After Nala explained everything that happened Scar attempting to kill Mufasa and all Simba was furious "He attempted to kill me and my father, we need to stop him", Simba said, Nala said "Yes but how his hyenas run the place we cant fight them all off", Simba thought and said "Do you remember Amunifu, the leader of the elephants, he is here with the elephants and so are all the other animals and their leaders, gazelles, giraffes, cheetahs, they're all here, we could build an army".
They all had a chat and decided they would build an army, but then two fully grown male rouge lions approached them and said "why hello there and who is this beautiful girl" he said looking at Nala, Simba, Nala, Mheetu and Cora immediately knew that the males wanted Nala, but Simba jumped at them and began to fight them off, the males had no chance since Simba is super strong and an excellent fighter, the two rouges ran off and everyone was shocked except Banai, who already knew what Simba was capable of. "That was amazing", said Cora, Mheetu also said "That was super cool your so strong", Simba smiled and lead them to his hideout where he gave them meat and got to know everyone.
