Next: Eyerok EX
The rest area in Bowser's Castle was a lava chamber room with a tall Bowser statue, pillars holding up the infrastructure, windows showing the hot hell world that was World 8, stairs leading up to the next boss, and finally, the healing supplies consisted of one blue coin, two red coins, and four coins.
Mario: You've gotta be kidding me… Bowser is just plain cruel!
Luigi: Well, why don't we just try to take as little damage as possible and only use healing items when we're low?
Yoshi: That's what I was thinking.
Wario: So… no money grabbing?
Bros and Yoshi: NO!
Wario: Darn.
With that outta the way, into the painting they went.

[BGM: True Gladiator Kirby - Kirby Super Star Ultra]
The four landed into the chamber from Eyerok's last battle. This time, two black stoned hands with spikes resembling claws on it's "fingers" appeared, along with the eyes on it's "palms" being red and cat-like.
Vs. Eyerok EX
An otherworldly demon created through the dark magic of the magikoopa race. Unlike the original, this monster has truly malicious intent, and must be destroyed before it can be unleashed upon the real world.
Eyerok EX roared loudly at the group.
Mario: Let's a do this!
The left hand quickly grabbed Luigi without warning and he screamed.
Luigi: YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! HELP!
Yoshi: It didn't do that before!
Wario: Look out!
Eyerok EX slammed it's hands on the ground, releasing a shockwave which paralyzed the group, except for Wario, who jumped and hit Eyerok EX's right eye. The monster released Luigi, who gasped for air before punching the left eye as well. Mario and Yoshi were freed from the paralysis.
Mario: You okay, bro?
Luigi: I'm… okay…
Yoshi: Look out!
Eyerok EX slammed once again, causing debris to fall down from the ceiling, which hit Mario once.
Mario: Ugh… only the second boss, and we're already getting trounced.
Eyerok EX then did the original's push and shove attack, only much faster. Thankfully, Luigi was fast enough to hit both eyes again. Yoshi nearly fell off the edge, only for Mario to save him. Now Eyerok EX was angry, and shot ice lasers out it's eyes, freezing Luigi and Wario.
Mario: Mamma Mia! I don't remember this attack. We'll never punch it now!
Yoshi: Maybe not, but I've got you covered.
Yoshi ate the nearby flame on a torch and doused Eyerok EX in flames, destroying it for good and unfreezing the other two plumbers.
