A New Ally And A Dead End

Okay so this is going to be a bit of an interesting chapter this one! In this chapter we are going to focus on our friends as they are the ones travelling in search of their friend Helena! But as we all know in these kind of times…you don't normally tend to find…everything on the first try! Let's get straight to the chapter shall we?

2 Hours Later…

Later on that day, our four friends followed the directions that Beltran gave them, and they've been circling the park for the last two hours or so.

They've passed the same trees several times, passed the same statue in the centre of the park, and the fountain was passed several times.

Plus it didn't help that Cabot was whiny the entire search for their dove friend. Which of course made Raul a little groggy because he hated this kind of attitude.

"Raul! This is pointless! We have been circling the same area of the park at least six times! We are not going to find her this way!" Cabot groaned in tiredness, as he was at the back of the group due to his aching muscles. "Can't we just land somewhere to rest?"

"I wouldn't expect you to understand about love Cabot! Considering your idea of love is love at first fuck with Chloe!" The white hawk snapped back in annoyance as he shook his head to get the anger out of his head.

"HEY! I have you know that I was being there for her when she was upset! She needed company and she came onto me!"

"Woah woah woah! Where did that come from?" Tomada was only besides Raul as he had the strength to continue flying due to his wingspan being impressively large. "It's not Cabot's fault that we are all tired! You can't expect us to find her if we keep looking around the same areas!"

"I know, I'm sorry! I just…I just want to find her so badly!" The white hawk sadly responded as he sighed in defeat. "You know what guys? Let's all go to the statue for a rest! Then we can plan out what to do next!"

"Finally!" Cabot beamed in relief as he was the first one to land on the head of the statue, sitting on the top and rubbing his aching joints. "Ahhhhh! Now that's the spot!"

The other trio chuckled in amusement when they saw his reaction, and pretty soon landed on the statue just besides him.

"Wow, you are not a long flyer are you?" Sorrel giggled at the black owl who groaned and rubbed his wings.

"Sorry guys! I don't mean to slow us down! I'm just not used to flying around so much! Owls tend to come out at night!" Cabot responded quite tiresome.

"So why do you, Kelly, Jameson, Alex, Siax and several others all come out during the day? You changed your minds?" Raul asked as he tilted his head to the side.

"Are you kidding me? Being out during the day is the best decision we have ever made! Life is more perfect in the day!"

"Are we…seriously having this conversation? Shouldn't we be discussing how we are going to find Helena?" Tomada pointed out the obvious, clapping his wings together.

"What do you suggest then falcon boy? We all cup our wings together and shout Wooohoooo! Helena? Helena? Where are you birdy birdy?" Cabot snapped in annoyance and wiped the sweat from his forehead.

"Excuse me? Did you say you were looking for a bird named Helena?"

A random female voice came out of nowhere, startling the birds on the statue.

"AHHHHHH!" Cabot screamed in fear as he slipped off of the head and landed on the podium head first. "DAMNIT!"

"Oh my god Cabot?! Are you okay?!" Sorrel gasped in fear as she flew down to help him. "Did you land on your head?"

"Yes! It's okay though, I landed on my head a lot as a kid and I still turned out great!"

"Ahhh, finally an explanation!" Raul joked as he gave Tomada a fist bump.

"Oh haha very funny!" Cabot groaned sarcastically as all of them were ignoring a female who is trying to get their attention. Making her a little impatient.

"Excuuuuuse me?! Are you guys just going to ignore me?" The female spoke again in agitated manner while clicking her wingtips.

Tomada and Raul turned around to face her again and bowed sorrowfully in respect.

"Apologies miss! What did you say before?" The white hawk asked her kindly as he finally managed to pay attention to her.

"You said something about a bird named Helena?" The scarlet macaw female asked again curiously as she stared at the falcon.

"Yes! Do you know her?" Tomada beamed in relief as he smiled warmly at her.

"I do actually! She came to see me before she flew to her favourite spot in the city! If you want, I can take you guys to her?" The female suggested as she shook wings with Sorrel and Cabot.

"That would be great! Sorry, where are my manners! I'm Raul, this falcon here is my friend Tomada! This is his wife…don't get me started! Sorrel, and this is the guy who keeps landing on his head, Cabot!" Raul spoke the last part mockingly and patted him on the head.

"Hey! Stop that!" He whined in anger and slapped his wing away.

"It's a pleasure to meet all of you! My name is Elenor!" The female scarlet macaw introduced herself while shaking wings with them. "Please tell me, why are you looking for her?"

"Actually that's my fault!" Raul raised his wing and scratched the back of his head. "I'm here to tell her that I love her! Do you think you could take us to where she is?"

"Sure! No problem! She likes to go to The Bernabeu a lot on her own to watch Real Madrid play! You know? Football?" Elenor spoke up and arched a curious eyebrow.

"Yeah! We have our own team back in Rio!" Raul responded happily with an excited expression. "You know where Rio is?"

"Yeah! I have a mentor who works in Brazil! I haven't seen him in over six years! It's been a very long time, especially since he saved us in Viana!" Elenor responded with pride, as she was referring to a certain male macaw.

"I'm sorry? Who saved who?" Cabot asked curiously as he leaned closer to Tomada due to his dizziness.

"RDJ? He's my mentor! The head of our assassin order! Do you know anyone by that name?" The scarlet macaw female asked curiously.

"RDJ?! Yes! He helped us take down Armando and Zenon! As well as killing Nigel and several of his associates!" Tomada replied with great enthusiasm and crossed his wings. "Is he…your mentor?!"

"I know about that! News spreads like wildfire these days! I have another contact in Brazil who told me of Armando's death! It means that his thugs have had difficulty tracking us in recent days! But I can't say that things are perfect here!" Elenor sadly spoke as she lowered her head.

"What do you mean?" Sorrel was the next one to jump to ask a question, but this only made the scarlet macaw sigh.

"Well…that's partly the reason why I came to you guys! You see…Helena is currently being targeted by another male scarlet macaw in Madrid! After she left to go to the stadium, I sent two of my best men to keep her company!"

"Oh my god! Do you know who this scarlet macaw is? Is he like…related to Armando?" Cabot asked as the black owl managed to gain his consciousness back to full effect.

"My scouts can't figure it out right now! But what we do know is that she is in danger, and as soon as I saw you guys leaving the same plane as the one that departed from Rio, I assume that you must have known her!" Elenor finished explaining as she placed her wings on her hips. "So, if you lot just follow me to the city! We can find your friend and try to get her back to Rio as quickly as possible!"

"Thank you! You have no idea how much this means to me!" Raul beamed happily as he gave their new friend and ally a friendly hug.

"You are welcome my friend! Any friend of RDJ's is a friend of mine! Although…Who wouldn't want to be more than friends with muscles like that eh?" Elenor cheekily joked as he gave Sorrel a playful nudge, making her chuckle.

"Okay! Okay! We've been standing here and talking about assassins and old friends and football? Shouldn't we be going to find Helena by now?" Tomada exclaimed as he was getting pretty impatient.

"Alright guys! Follow me!" Elenor beamed as she flapped her wings and flew up towards the city.

Our friends instantly joined her in the air, and followed suit, as they got a new lead on their pursuit of Helena!

Completely unaware…that they were being watched…

A bird was sitting in a tree not to far away from them with a machete in his wings.

He trembled with rage as he heard the conversation that they were having…and he knew that he had to get ahead of them to get to where they were going!

"So…RDJ is really alive? Interesting…I guess I was wrong about him!" The male bird maliciously spoke in a dark voice, as he proceeded to follow our heroes to The Bernabeu!

Meanwhile…With Beltran, Jameson and Kelly…

Beltran landed just outside of an old and broken building in a dodgy part of the city. He turned around to open his wings up to welcome his guests to his home.

"Welcome my friends! To my family home!" He beamed proudly with a wide smile on his beak.

Jameson and Kelly landed just in front of him, and their eyes squinted a little when they saw how old and gruesome the structure of this building looked. But they dared not to insult him about it, so they decided to put on fake smiles and nod along.

"Ohhhh…isn't this place Erm…homey! Don't you agree honey?" Jameson elbowed his partner slightly while making her giggle nervously.

"Ohhh yes! This place looks…wow!" Kelly softly spoke as she tried her best to not show her disgust.

"Yeah right! I know it's not the most glamorous place in the world! My family have lived here for many many years!" He responded a little down about the whole thing.

Suddenly, a few doves flew out of the building all at once and landed just behind Beltran with bright smiles on their beaks.

"MI AMIGOS!" They all chorused simultaneously, and all started surrounding the two owls while jumping for joy.

"MISS KELLY! MISS KELLY! MR JAMES! MR JAMES!" A young female dove chick chirped as she jumped up and down like a child on a sugar rush.

"Hahaha That's not my name kid! It's Jameson!" The black owl chuckled while patting her on the head.

"Your James's son? Where's your daddy?" The young chick beamed with curiosity. Completely oblivious as to what the black owl male just said.

"No! No! Jameson! Not James's son! My name is Jameson!"

"Oh…is that why your name is Jameson? Because your daddy is named James and you are his son? James-son?" She cooed cutely and tilted her head sideways.

"You know what? I think…Miss Kelly, would LOVE to talk to you right now! Beltran, let's have a look around!" Jameson responded in annoyance as he kissed his girlfriend on the cheek, and flew inside the house with Beltran, leaving a very annoyed elf owl female with a few energetic chicks.

"Oh…definitely no sex for you tonight!" Kelly grumbled as she watched the two of them leave.

"What's…sex?" One of the young chicks asked cutely, tilting her head slightly.

As soon as she heard that question from a youngling, she immediately gulped in fear and suddenly went pale.

"Erm…Ughhhh…Sex is ughh…a…an adult thing!" She replied in fear as her gaze was met by several dove chicks who wouldn't stop pestering her.

"Is Jameson your boyfriend? Is that what you do with him?" The young chick beamed again and tugged on her wing.

"Yes…Erm…so? Do you guys know anyone named Helena?" The elf owl female pondered, to try and change the subject.

"Is she your girlfriend? Does your boyfriend know?" A young male dove asked as he jumped up and down on the spot.

"What? No! Helena is my friend! Jameson is my boyfriend!"

"I thought his name was James?" The kid asked again with confusion in her eyes.

"HIS NAME ISN'T JAMES! IT'S JAMESON!" Kelly screamed at the kids, who flapped their wings and flew away from her in fear. Making her chuckle slightly. "Yeah, don't mess with me!"

Meanwhile…

"Alright my friends! Helena should be sitting on the top right hand side of the stands!" Elenor announced as she continued to take the lead, with Sorrel and Tomada just behind her.

But Raul on the other wing was flying behind the group, because he had no idea on how to react if he saw her again.

Cabot knew that something must have been bothering him, because he noticed how freaked out that he looked.

"Hey buddy? Are you okay?" The black owl male took him by surprise as he flew alongside him.

"Yeah I'll be okay! I'm just…I'm a little confused about this whole thing!" The white hawk male replied warmly, as The Bernabeu was coming into their view. "I just don't want to make another mistake with her! I'm in love with her!"

"Dude…you know what? You just tell her that!"

"What? What are you talking about?"

"Just say to her that you are in love with her, and that you can't imagine your life without her under any circumstances!"

Cabot winked at his friend and flew ahead of him, leaving the white hawk to kind of think about what Cabot just said.

"Yeah…Yeah! I can do this! Okay…I can do this! I just…fly up to her…and, I look at her dead in the eyes…and I say…"

"WHAT THE BLOODY HELL HAPPENED?!" A female voice was heard, booming like a radioactive bomb.

Suddenly, Raul noticed that Elenor was flying up to a certain scarlet macaw laying down on his back on the roof of the stadium. But what was weird about this, was he had a knife sticking out of his torso.

"Oh no…" He worryingly whispered to himself, and quickly picked up the pace as he tried to get to him as quickly as possible.

The scarlet macaw female landed with Tomada and Sorrel on the roof, and the scarlet macaw female ran up to one of her men and lifted him up so he could face her. "Santiago! What happened here?!"

"We were…Cough! Cough!...Under attack miss! We were guarding the girl as you asked us to! But…some guy turned up looking for her! So we told her to fly back to the vantage point like we discussed!" The male replied faintly as he was coughing up some blood.

"MOVE IT! I'M A MEDIC!" Raul screamed in a booming voice as he burst into the crowd, and started pulling items outside of his bag to treat Santiago's wounds.

"Do you think you can save him, my friend?" Elenor sweetly asked while watching him pull out some bandages and rubbing alcohol.

"Yes, but you all need to take a step back so I can work! Come on!" Raul softly spoke as he gestured with his wings for everyone to move to the side.

Everyone followed suit and took a few paces backwards, allowing Raul to help out the poor injured scarlet macaw.

"Ahhh…Thank you amigo! Wait…you're him aren't you?" Santiago asked him kindly as he saw Raul gripping the knife with his wing.

"Deep breath!" Raul ordered him as he got ready to pull the knife out.

The scarlet macaw male nodded and took a deep breath in.

After the count of three, he yanked the knife out of his torso and placed a linen cloth onto the wound.

"AHHHHH! Ooooh! Ahhhh, thank you!" He panted as he felt the rushing pain from his torso. "You…didn't answer my question?"

"What? Am I who?" Raul responded as he put the rubbing alcohol on another cloth and quickly placed it on the wound, making him moan in pain.

"Mmmmm, ahhhhh…Raul? You're that white hawk from Rio correct?"

"Yeah? Did she…Did Helena talk about me?" Raul asked in surprise as he got a bandage out and a needle and thread to sow up the wound. "What did she say?"

"We were watching the game, and she told me that she reckons you would have loved to watch this game! Being a football fan and all?" He responded between pants as he looked down at his wounded torso. "Oh god…that doesn't look good does it?"

"Yeah well…you're lucky that I'm a medic! Otherwise you'd be dead in seven minutes!" Raul responded as he started sowing his wound back up. "Okay, I'm just going to stitch you up now! It shouldn't take long!"

"Thank you!" He responded in relief as he patted him on the back. Laying back down to hold in his pain.

"So…where is the vantage point? If you don't mind me asking?" Tomada asked the scarlet male, who was currently being tended to the white hawk.

"It's our base in the city! Elenor can take you to her!"

"Yeah, I can do that!" Elemis sweetly replied as she smiled at the Rio birds.

"But what about Raul? He can't go with Santiago in this condition?" Sorrel pointed out, as they saw that Raul just finished sowing up the wound, and watched him wrap a bandage around him.

"Actually I can! The wound is covered up, and all patched up! Due to Tomada's strength he could carry Santiago there! Once we get there, I can give him some painkillers for the pain, but he should be okay to live!" Raúl responded happily and patted Santiago on the back.

"Thank you my friend! Helena has chosen a good one!" He softly spoke as he felt really dizzy at the time.

"Okay, looks like we are heading back to ba…Wait, where's Javi? Wasn't he here with you?" Elenor asked her associate curiously, who nodded his head at her. "Well? Where did he get off to?"

"After we got attacked, I told him to take her back to base! If you look on the floor you'll notice that I killed both of the threats! The only problem is, Javi is wounded too! So there's a chance that he might not have made it the entire way back!"

"Okay! Here's the plan! Tomada? Is it?" The scarlet female asked the falcon who nodded his head in agreement. "You and your wife take Santiago back to my base! Direct them on where to go, and bring the painkillers with you!"

"Yes mistress!" Santiago replied with honour, as the falcon picked him up in his large talons, and flew off with Sorrel back to the Assassins hideout.

"You! Cabot! You are both coming with me!" Elenor announced as she shook her head with rage.

"Where are we going? Aren't we supposed to be finding Helena and bringing her home?" Raul asked in impatience, crossing his wings.

"Not yet! There's something we have to do first! If I know Helena…she won't have flown back to base if my associate died! But I did tell her where to go if she was in danger!"

Look lady! Why didn't you bring us there in the first place, instead of all this fucking about?" Cabot snapped at her in annoyance.

"How was I supposed to know that they would be attacked? Do you trust me? Or do you not? The question really is…If RDJ trusts me…do you?"

"Well…yeah?" Both of them replied simultaneously with hopeful eyes.

"Exactly! Now…instead of flapping your beaks…flap your fucking wings! We are going to one of the most popular hot spots in town! The reason why…is because it's a hidden hideout away from the assassin order!" Elenor responded as she pushed both boys to start flying. "MOVE IT!"

"OKAY! OKAY! JEEZ!"

Somewhere else in Madrid…

In a very quiet part of town, there was a sewer gate that had a hole in it big enough to fit a bird through.

Just on the outside, a scarlet macaw landed in front of it, and cackled evilly to himself.

"Interesting? I've never seen this before!" He spoke to nobody in particular as he squeezed through the gap and flew through what looked like a very mucky tunnel. "Ewww! Smells like a rat in here!"

He flew into this dark part of the sewer, and noticed a beam of light coming out from a small hole in the wall.

"Well…looks like I have company!" He pulled out his machete and dove into the hole. As soon as he landed inside, his eyes fell upon one bird in particular…a female white dove. "Well hello there! I've been searching for you!"

The dove in fact revealed to be Helena, who was currently tending to Javi's injury. The two of them looked up and noticed the scarlet male's presence. Making Javi jump to his feet to defend her.

"We finally meet! It's been so long!" Javi grunted as he went to swing his weapon at him.

Unfortunately for him, the scarlet male ducked out of the way and stabbed Javi in the neck. Killing him instantly.

"NOOOO! YOU BASTARD!" Helena screeched as she flew straight past him and tried to make a fly for it. But the scarlet male caught her talon and yanked her backwards. Making her hit her head on the floor pretty brutally.

"Hmmm nice try Helena! But this time…nobody is coming to save you!" He sinisterly whispered as he sat her up against the wall. He pressed his wing up against the stone wall and glared into her eyes with so much hatred. "Do you know who I am?"

"No! Why should I…ughhh…care!" She spat in disgust as she felt dizzy from the blow to the head.

"I am the only one who you should be fearing right now Helena!" He whispered again very coldly, and stroked her head feathers back. Before saying his name…which of course would surprise many. "My name…is Félix!"

Yes you heard it right ladies and gentlemen! Félix is alive! But how? Didn't he die in Cairo? I guess Julio and Douglas aren't the only ones who could survive a fire! Also Elenor is back to help our friends find Helena for Raul! And poor Kelly being tortured by kids! I hope you all enjoyed and I'll see you all for the next chapter!
