OK, here comes the first chapter.
A thing here, I set the story happened in Season 4's timeline, so in the fanfic, Lincoln and his friends were still in Elementary School.
Receiving the News
(Four days after the events of the Prologue)
In Royal Woods Elementary School, a white-haired 11 year old boy walked on the way to his classroom. Yup, we all know who he is, Lincoln Loud, a middle child in his family with 10 sisters, and they are really living up to their name, LOUD!
"Lincoln Loud in the house!", he said when he came to the door.
"Hi, Lincoln!" "'Sup, man?" "L-Train is pulling to the station!" "Howdy Loudy?" He walked past to his friend group and gave each of them a high five, Stella Zhau, Rusty Spokes, Zach Gurdle, Liam Hunnicutt, and last but not least, his best friend, Clyde McBride. "I've got your seat, buddy.", the African-American kid said. "Thanks, buddy." Lincoln replied, however, as soon as his butt reached the seat, the chair suddenly broken down, and Lincoln fell over with his face facing towards the ceiling. Then he suddenly heard someone laughing at him. Lincoln groaned as soon as he recognized the laughter, and just like what he thought, the laughing guy was none other than Chandler McCann, one of the most popular kids and Lincoln's archememy in school.
"Well, well, well, Lincoln Lame!", the redhead boy said, "Look at you! You just let believed me that even chickens sometimes can be turtles!" Then some of his goons began to laugh along with him and some of them even took pictures of the embarrassing scene. This made Lincoln's friends unhappy, of course. While Clyde and Stella helping Lincoln standing up, Rusty, Liam and Zach was trying to attack Chandler for what he did, until Lincoln stopped them as soon as he stood up. He did feel glad that his friends are sticking up to him, but he didn't want them in trouble because of him, either.
However, they all failed to pay attention to their other classmates. One of their classmates, Lance, after seeing Lincoln's friends sticking up to him, he let out a faint sigh, which was really unnoticed.
In order to forget what happened earlier, Rusty suddenly talked to Lincoln, "Oh right, man! Did you hear that there's gonna be a new boy in our class?"
"A new boy?" Lincoln said in surprise, it's clearly that he didn't know it.
"I got this news from Principal Huggins yesterday.", said Clyde, who's convenient to get this news for being the school's junior administer, "I was trying to tell you, buddy, but it was strange that neither your walkie-talkie nor your phone was working."
"So he told us first." Zach replied, "After this, Liam and I tried to call you, but you didn't reply to us, either."
"Oh, my bad." Lincoln chuckled nervously, "Lisa used my cellphone and walkie-talkie to do her new experiment, so I wasn't able to reply this. But I did see a moving van drove past my home two days ago, so I guess that might be the new boy. Speaking of this, did you get anything else about him?"
"Well, from what I heard from Principal Huggins, he must be very smart." said Clyde, "I heard that he's actually a 3rd-grader, but then I heard Principal Huggins agreed to let him make the grade, it's said that he got all of his 4th-grade lessons controlled flawlessly."
"What I heard is that he can speak 3 languages fluently." Zach added, "Besides, it's also said that he has great abilities in programming and making robots."
"Sounds like there's gonna be another Lisa in the class." Lincoln said bluntly, but then he regretted saying that when he saw some uneasy looks on Rusty, Liam and Zach. And he knew why, the three boys were still feeling guilty for what they had done when his sister Lisa made the grade and became their classmates temporarily, even though they had apologized to Lincoln and he forgave them. "Come on, guys!" Lincoln said, "Still feel guilty for that? I've told you it has been in the past."
"True, but that didn't mean we should turn against you." said Liam, "Man, we were really a bunch of jerks that time."
"Hmm..." Lincoln thought for a while before he came up with an idea, "Hey, why don't you try to do this if you really wanna make that up? Why don't we be friends with the new boy? He must be lonely since he's new here, then we'll help him get used to this new environment."
"That's a good idea, Lincoln!" Liam exclaimed, "I'm definitely in this plan!"
"And we won't make the same mistake again.", said Rusty.
"Just as long as he's not a mean jerk." Zach added.
"Count us in, too, Lincoln!", said Clyde as Stella nodded her head in agreement.
Then the class bell rang, all the students sat on their seats and prepared for their class as Mrs. Johnson walked into the classroom.
"Good morning, class!", said the teacher, "Before we start our lesson, I want to tell you that we'll have a new classmate today, and now I'll introduce him."
Some kids were surprised at this and they began to murmur who the new classmate is as Mrs. Johnson turned to the classroom door, "Now come in, please."
The new boy went in the classroom, and when the classmates saw him, they couldn't help but they all looked at him in shock. "Oh my gosh!"
All right. And then is the first story, why did the classmates look at the new boy in shock? Just because he's a kid who's younger than them? Will things be difficult for Lincoln and his friends to make friends with him? Well, stay tuned for the next chapter if you wanna find out.
