"Last time, on Total Drama All Stars..." the recap began, with a shot of the island first before clips from the previous episodes would play. The contestants were all shown falling towards the island one by one, following by portions of the challenge being shown. "I welcomed the all stars to the newly decontaminated island! Then, it was Heroes vs. Villains diving into shark-infested waters in search of the one key that would unlock the door to the all new McLean spa hotel for winners only! Thanks to Scott's cowardly fear of sharks, we learned that inside the heart of every robot beats a heart of a Spaniard. In this case, Alejandro. And, while Alejandro might not hold the key to Heather, Bridgette, or LeShawna's heart anymore, he did hold the key to the spa hotel, and victory for the Villainous Vultures! And the Heroic Hippos bid farewell to Cameron, via or newest and most humiliating commode of transportation... the Flush of Shame!" Chris was now standing next to Chef on the Dock of Shame, both of them having wicked grins while looking at the camera. "Who will be next to pop through the pooper? Find out right now! On Total, Drama, Aaaaall Stars!"
Intro:
The usual rock music began for the show's theme "I Wanna Be Famous", although, for the first time in the series, it instead cut right towards the end of the song. Cameras were shown popping out of various places with tags still on them, showing that they were freshly bought, with the camera then zooming past Chris and Chef landing on the ground in a helicopter.
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous!
The camera zoomed up the 1,000-foot high cliff and then into the lake, where Heather and Zoey were tugging at a treasure chest and fighting over it. It opened up after a second though, revealing Cameron and Mr. Coconut inside with several immunity idols. Behind them, Scott was seen swimming away from a shark in panic while Owen was hanging onto its tail and letting out a trail of fart gas behind him while doing so.
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous!
The rest of the contestants were seen on rafts holding dueling sticks, ready to whack each other with them. Jo and Beth clashed first, although Jo easily overpowered her. Lightning and Mike pressed their sticks against each other, and Lightning jumped bumped Mike away super easily as well. Alejandro and Bridgette clashed, with Alejandro pushing her away with one hand. Blaineley and Brick swung their sticks against each other, and Blaineley surprisingly gained the edge over Brick. Then Gwen and Duncan swung dueling sticks at LeShawna with anger, while LeShawna blocked them with a concerned look on her face.
The last bits of the tune were whistled by the contestants while Mike and Zoey were about to kiss at the campfire, but were interrupted by Chef bringing in the toxic marshmallow between them and made them break up their romantic moment. This scared and surprised them while the camera panned out to show the rest of the contestants sitting on tree stumps watching, with Chris standing off to the side. The logo of the season was shown on a plank of wood, with one last guitar riff ending the intro.
The show came back to the cabin that belonged to the Heroic Hippos, since they had lost the challenge yesterday. "There's a storm a-comin' dag nabbit!" Mike's voice could be heard, currently in his Chester personality.
Then Svetlana chimed in. "I'm scared, after all these years he's going to return!"
Now inside the cabin, Mike could be seen talking in his sleep. "Ay yo, how we gonna stomp this Goombah?" Vito asked, as if all the voices were in a meeting right now.
"Hush it mate, Mike is wakin' up!" Manitoba said, and as if on cue, Mike woke up and sat in bed. He rubbed his eyes and looked around, thinking he had heard something.
"Huh? Wazzat? You guys say something?" Mike asked groggily, now looking at the other bunks in the cabin.
The only other person in the guys' room was Owen, who was looking at Mike with confusion. "I didn't say anything, but you were! Who were you talking to? Was it the donut man?" Owen asked, sounding excited at the thought of having food even though he was the one who brought it up.
Mike shook his head and climbed out of bed, rubbing the back of his with a chuckle. "Eheh, I wasn't the one talking. It's kinda just something my personalities do in my sleep I guess? I don't have much control over them in my sleep." Mike answered as he grabbed his normal clothes from the drawer.
A mosquito came flying in through the window and landed on Owen's shoulder, which quickly alerted Mike after he got dressed. "Gah! Watch out!" he shouted, before smacking it and sending it to the floor.
Owen looked at the mosquito that hit the floor, wincing and rubbing the spot it had landed on. "Wow, can't believe I didn't notice it there! Thanks!" Owen thanked Mike, letting out a sigh of relief.
Mike got his shoes on while Owen thanked him, giving a thumbs up to Owen when he was done. "No problem! But hey, where is Brick? He didn't sleep outside did he?" Mike asked, noticing the other male on their team wasn't in the cabin.
"Oh, he's doing his morning exercise outside the cabin by the dining hall. Speaking of which, I'm gonna go grab brekky, see you!" Owen answered, before walking out the cabin.
While Owen was seen walking out of the cabin, the camera panned over to the girls' room and inside, where Bridgette was seen in her bed snoozing. Although it wasn't a peaceful sleep from the looks of it, as she was tossing and turning in her sleep with a pained expression. "Hey! Wake up there girl!" LeShawna said loudly, waking up Bridgette.
"Heeth eeevil!" Bridgette shrieked as she woke up, her tongue hanging out of her mouth for a moment before she came to her senses. Rubbing her eyes, Bridgette looked over at LeShawna with an awkward smile. "Umm, thanks for waking me up there. I was having a bad dream." Bridgette thanked LeShawna as she climbed out of bed.
The shriek had woken up Beth and Zoey, who had also gotten out of bed. "That must have been a pretty bad dream if it had you shrieking like that. Are you sure you're okay?" Zoey asked, looking concerned.
Bridgette gave a wave of dismissal, walking to their drawer. "Don't worry, I'll be fine. It's just a bad dream after all, nothing serious." Bridgette replied, back to her normal attitude now.
Zoey reluctantly nodded, dropping the subject. "Alright then, I'll go get breakfast with Mike. See you guys!" Zoey waved to the three of them after getting dressed and hurried out of the cabin to go see her boyfriend.
LeShawna smirked as Zoey left, looking at the others in the room and gesturing towards the direction Zoey went with her thumb. "Girl is lucky she got her boyfriend with her this season, that's just two votes in one right there." LeShawna commented, sounding just a tad bit annoyed with the fact.
Bridgette nodded in agreement with her. "Same for Gwen and Duncan, but they deserve to be here. What happened with Harold again? Are you two still a thing?" Bridgette asked, wondering how things were for the unlikely couple.
"Harold? We're not a thing, lemme make that clear. We're just friends, ain't nothin' wrong with that. But he was offered the same contract we all got. Boy turned it down cuz he thinks Chris is wiggity wack." LeShawna explained, to which Bridgette nodded in understanding.
"Yeah, Chris has definitely gotten a bit more nuts. Geoff wasn't even offered a contract, which is kinda weird. But I'm glad he's not here." Bridgette said, putting her hands in her hoodie pocket and leaning against her bunk.
Beth chimed in, having just gotten her shoes on. "Having Brady here would be pretty nice! He's a model though, so I don't think he'd wanna get himself into any dirty situations." Beth giggled, although both Bridgette and LeShawna looked at her a bit awkwardly, unsure of how to respond.
After a moment of silence, Bridgette decided to just walk towards the cabin door. "I'm going to get something to eat before Chris says otherwise. You two wanna come along?" Bridgette asked them, giving them something to do in place of the awkward silence. Beth nodded, regaining her smile and walking with Bridgette and LeShawna to the dining hall.
-Confessional: Heroic Hippos: Bridgette-
Bridgette had her head resting on one palm, looking upset. "I had that dream again, haven't had it in a while actually. It still haunts me, when Alejandro tricked me back in World Tour, then no one listened to me and I got voted off. I still haven't faced him that day, but I'll have to eventually. Eventually."
-End Confessional-
Now in the spa hotel, all of the Villainous Vultures besides Lightning were having their fancy breakfast at one big table. "Oh I am digging this! I can't wait to be a millionaire. I got up at 5 am this morning to watch the releasing of the doves and I'm just gonna say it. It was beautiful!" Scott talked about his morning to the group, before indulging in the sausages on the plate in front of him.
Duncan nodded in agreement with him, sitting in front of a plate of nice-looking pancakes. "Yeah, this is the life! And if we keep winning challenges, we can live like kings all season! To villainy!" Duncan raised his glass of orange juice, to which Scott raised his as well and clinked their glasses against each other.
"Yeah... to villainy." Gwen mumbled, looking down at her plate and sighing.
Duncan looked over at her, a bit confused. "Sup with you dollface?" he asked her, with the same upbeat tone.
Gwen perked up when asked the question, realizing how she had said it. "Oh! Umm, nothing. Just you know, wondering how Lightning is doing on Boney Island." she answered, coming up with it on the spot.
Cut to Boney Island, where thunder crackled over the gloomy landscape. Lightning was holding a stick in one hand while kneeling on a rock, watching the water cautiously. A catfish swam up to the surface of the water and hopped out for whatever reason, and Lightning struck it with his stick. The fish flew over onto the sand, making Lightning cheer by pumping a fist into the air. "Haha fish! You've been struck by Lightning!" he taunted the fish, holding the stick out.
An albatross soon flew by Lightning however, heading straight for his prize. It landed on the sand and then bit the fish, carrying it in it's beak. "Oh no you don't!" Lightning yelled at the albatross, jumping onto the sand and grabbing the other end of the fish to try and tug it away. It wasn't even a contest, and Lightning's immense strength let him pull it away instantly. He kicked the albatross away for good measure, with it letting out an angry squaw as it was knocked away.
Instead of properly preparing it, Lightning just shoved the whole fish into his mouth in one go. It obviously didn't go well, and a loud gurgling sound could be heard from his stomach. "Sha-dang! This fish is swimming back up stream!" he said, looking down at his stomach with concern. That concern turned to disgust, and he soon ran over to a bush where he vomited into it for a good while.
Back at the spa hotel, more food was being set down on the table, with waffles and steaks now available. "I just hope he doesn't find the invincibility statue while he's there." Blaineley commented, taking one of the steaks from the stack and putting it on her plate. "I mean, a brute like him getting such a strategical element to the game? That's bound to be a wasted plot point! I'd much prefer if it ended up in the hands of a schemer who uses it to their advantage and drives the plot forward. Now THAT'S a story!" Blaineley gave her reasoning, which was completely different than everyone else's at the table.
"Uh, I'm pretty sure we all just want the statue for ourselves miss Hollywood. No one is paying you extra for writing some lame story!" Jo replied, raising an eyebrow at Blaineley's strange motivations as she got some steak for herself as well.
Duncan scratched his chin, thinking for a moment. "Well think of it this way, if he finds that idol, we're all screwed for a while. He probably doesn't know how to use the thing, so that'll just make it worse." Duncan stated, which now got Scott thinking as well.
"So maybe we should vote him off before he becomes too much of a problem later. We'll throw the next challenge and vote him off." Scott suggested, leaning forward a bit.
Jo scoffed at the idea, cutting at her steak right now. "Pfft, and give up all this? No way, we don't need to vote him off either. Who we really should focus on is Alejandro, and Heather. We know what those two can do, who knows what they'll try and pull over us this season! Before you know it, they'll have us all mapped out in some game plan!" Jo warned the group, pointing over at the spa that Alejandro was currently hogging while Heather watched.
"True enough, this is sweet! You know what I slept on last night? A pillow! Filled with feathers! Back on the farm, it's a burlap sack filled with small animals. You ever had a pillow bite your face?" Scott asked them, pointing at his cheek to show what part of his face would get bitten.
Gwen rolled her eyes, pointing her fork at Scott lazily. "You know Beth is from a farm too right? Haven't heard her talk about a single thing you've said, like ever. I think you're exaggerating a bit." she pointed out, making Scott glare at her.
"Well excuuuuuse me, but I guess she lives on some happy go lucky strawberry farm! I'm from a real farm, where you have to clean up animal poop and deal with the smell of cows!" Scott responded, annoyed to have his experiences questioned.
Jo made an overexaggerated gag, then pointing at her mouth. "You're both grossing me out, can you just can it already? I'd like to enjoy my breakfast now, and that will require you to stop talking." she told them, although her words were mostly aimed at Scott.
Now in the spa, Heather was sitting on a chair watching Alejandro get his legs massaged by the dorky female intern with the side ponytail. "Quit hogging the masseuse!" Heather complained, pointing at Alejandro.
Alejandro moved his face out of the pillow and looked at her with a smile. "Well her hands are magical, they've brought life back to my legs." Alejandro wiggled his lands for a moment, showing that he could move them again.
"Seriously? It takes you all that to get your legs moving?" Heather questioned him, putting her hands on her hips.
Alejandro rested his head on his arms, frowning at her. "I was squashed into that robot suit for an entire year, which you would have known if you ever texted me." Alejandro responded, now visibly annoyed.
"Well it's not like you ever texted me either." Heather shot back at him, walking up to him now.
"I didn't text you because I was trapped in a robot suit!" Alejandro shouted at her.
Heather wasn't sure what to say after that, and just turned the other way. "Well, whatever." she said, and just walked away from him.
As she walked away, the loudspeakers blared throughout the camp, including the inside of the spa hotel and dining hall. "Attention campers! It's... challenge time! Get your butts down to the
-Confessional: Villainous Vultures: Jo-
Jo had her arms crossed, looking at the camera with her brows furrowed. "Those old hag contestants think they're the king of the island right now, just because they've been around the block more. News flash, you're old news! They already booted Cameron, on the other side, so I can't let them do the same thing on our side. Heather is going tonight. Why? She pisses me off." Jo slammed her fist into an open hand. "I'll deal with lame-ning and dirtbag later."
-End Confessional-
Now on the aforementioned beach, the two teams were gathered onto wooden platforms that represented the team colors of yellow and red. All of the Hippos were on their platform already, and Gwen was currently climbing onto the red platform for the Vultures. As soon as she climbed up there, she walked by everyone to their other side. Duncan gave her a wink and a finger gun, although she just ignored him.
"Ooooh, somebody is invisible today! Harsh!" Chris commented his spectator stands, throwing a jab at Duncan. "TV Couples, is it ever a good idea?" he asked rhetorically, as if the answer was obvious.
A boat soon arrived being driven by Chef, with Lightning standing on it. As it pulled up to the beach, Lightning leapt from it and onto the Vultures' platform. He landed on his feet, standing proudly in front of his teammates. "Any luck finding the invincibility statue?" Scott asked, having a devious grin on his face.
Lightning shook his head, giving a quick wave of dismissal. "No need! I AM an invincibility statue!" Lightning answered, making Scott roll his eyes.
-Confessional: Villainous Vultures: Alejandro-
Alejandro was sitting normally now, having his arms crossed. "He is so arrogant! I might understand it if he had this face, but he does not have this face." Alejandro pointed at himself, gaining a small smirk.
-Confessional: Villainous Vultures: Lightning-
"Arrogant? Be fair now, look at me!" Lightning flexed his muscles, then striking a pose with one arm still flexing and the other stretched out. "Sha-yeaaaaaaah!"
-End Confessionals-
"Bonjour mais campers!" Chris greeted the teams, wearing a red cap and a red ascot as well as sunglasses on his eyes. "Some of you will recall our season 3 Parisian find and build a sculpture debacle. Well, this time our interns have buried 3d puzzle pieces all over the beach. Eight pieces per team! Find all your pieces and assemble them on your team's platform to recreate one of the landmarks visited on our world tour! First to finish wins!" Chris explained the challenge, with those that were there for the original challenge looking a bit more optimistic.
Chef walked onto the beach with a bunch of shovels in his hands, carrying them over his shoulder. "Since the Villainous Vultures won the first challenge, they get to dig with shovels! Incoming!" Chris announced, with Chef soon throwing shovels at all of the Vultures one by one.
Duncan caught his shovel, as did Alejandro. Scott ended up taking a shovel to the face, Blaineley ducked under hers and it flew over the platform, and Gwen tried to cover her face for protection. Lightning caught her shovel before it could reach her though. "Sha yoink!" Lightning shouted as he caught two more shovels, handing one of them to Gwen.
Heather walked up to Lightning, holding a hand out. "Um, shovel please!" she demanded, already in a bad mood since shovels were just sent flying at her.
Lightning blinked at her, not getting what she meant at first. Although it clicked eventually. "Nuh-uh! I need both! When this one gets tired, I'll use this one!" Lightning reasoned, holding up both shovels.
With the shot now focused on Gwen, she winced as a loud smack could be heard, with Heather soon walking away with her shovel. Lightning stumbled over a bit, his face red from being smacked by a shovel.
"Not to question your decision making Chris, but where are our digging tools? We are currently lacking any." Brick asked, giving a quick salute to Chris and standing firm.
Owen nodded in agreement with Brick, looking down over the platform to see if there was anything down there for them. "Yeah, I don't see anything for us to use-AAAH!" Owen yelled as he fell off the platform, landing on the sand below.
Owen sat up and rubbed his head, but then the sand gave away and made him fall into a pit below. "And... getting on and off your platforms will be challenging due to the moats." Chris added, while Jo reached over the platform with her shovel and tapped the sand on the Vultures' side, which also gave way and revealed a moat. Chris then raised a finger to announce another addition. "That are filled with-"
"AHHHHH! Crabs!" Owen shrieked as he tried to climb out of the pit, being assaulted by several crabs trying to pinch him.
Chris chuckled as Owen was pulled back into the moat. "Heh, don't know why, but it gets funnier every time!"
Lightning wasn't scared of the crabs or the moat though, stepping towards the edge of the platform. "No big thing for Light-o-ning! Sha-bam!" Lightning pointed at himself, before jumping off the platform onto the sand. He of course seemed fine, but a wooden plank sprung out of the sand and smacked him in the face, knocking him backward into the moat and making him scream.
Chris chuckled again, now continuing with his explanation. "Yeah, might wanna watch out for booby traps in the sand." Chris warned, as if they hadn't already just seen an example of said traps.
"What are we supposed to dig with still? You didn't answer Brick's question." Mike asked, looking worriedly down at Owen.
Chris laughed at the question, then took on a serious tone to mock them. "Sorry, shovels are for winners only. Losers will have to use their hands." he answered, then pulling out an airhorn. "Your challenge starts... now!" he announced, then blowing the air horn.
The Hippos got right to strategy once the challenge starting, getting in a circle minus Owen who was still climbing out of the moat. Zoey spoke up first, while the others all listened. "We should divide our area into sections and dig in one!" Zoey suggested, which didn't get any opposition.
Beth nodded in agreement with her. "Yeah! We'll just divide it into eighths and dig them all up!" Beth added, pointing at the sand and making squares with her hands in the air.
"Girl, hate to break it to you, but there are seven of us. We'll just go with seven sections okay?" LeShawna gestured to the rest of the team, making Beth rub the back of her head in light embarrassment.
"Umm, right! Well, let's do this team! Go Hippos!" Beth put her hand in the middle of the circle, soon being joined by the other members of the team. "Go Hippos!" they all chanted in unison.
-Confessional: Heroic Hippos: Beth-
Beth had her right hand on her left arm, sitting with a nervous look on her face. "I don't wanna look bad in front of the team, but I keep messing up! I thought I was going to get voted off first when it came down to me and Cameron. Maybe if I'm super nice they'll let me stay?"
-End Confessional-
"Strategy people! Strategy!" Jo shouted to her team, standing by the water with her shovel in hand. "We should start from one end, and dig to the other in a straight line!" Jo commanded them all, waving her arm from one side of the beach to the other.
Heather scoffed as she walked up to Jo, carrying her shovel on her shoulder. "And what if the pieces are all at the far end, huh? We need two lines that push in towards the center. Right guys?" Heather looked towards the rest of the team for approval now, while Jo rolled her eyes.
"Ain't nobody telling Lightning where to dig! I'm my own man!" Lightning told both of them as he ran past them with his shovel. He earned confused looks from both of them as he ran into the water and began to dig.
Blaineley walked up to the two girls arguing and clapped her hands. "Wonderful! Wonderful! An early game rivalry between two strong women, now that's something that'll bring in the ratings for sure! Having two strong independent women who don't need no man duking it out for team leadership, that's what's in the now! Keep it up!" Blaineley applauded the two of them, then just walking off and leaving them even more confused.
-Confessional: Villainous Vultures: Lightning-
"Sometimes when my tummy is empty, my mind ain't full. Stupid bony island fish!" Lightning then gagged, putting his hands over his mouth.
-Confessional: Villainous Vultures: Gwen-
Gwen put one hand on her head, looking at the camera with disbelief. "Ugh, I can't believe Lightning made it to last season's finale! Does he ever sha-shut up?"
-Confessional: Villainous Vultures: Lightning-
Lightning was now leaning over the toilet, vomiting into it thanks to the fish he ate.
-End Confessionals-
All of the Heroic Hippos were off digging, doing their own thing to try and cover as much ground as possible. The only one who looked like they were having a good time digging was Brick, going at a much faster pace than his teammates. In Beth's section, she noticed a red beeping light coming out of the sand. She leaned in curiously and poked the red light, which set off an explosion.
Beth was knocked away and tons of clothes were sent up flying into the air. "Ewww! Chef's dirty laundry!" Chris laughed, while Beth stood up with a pair of underwear on her face. She grabbed it and pulled it off, gagging once she realized what it was.
Among the other things in the pile were a jacket, a helmet, plenty of pairs of underwear, and an explorer's hat. "Ooh, I bet I'd look like a real treasure hunter with this!" Beth exclaimed, putting the hat on her head before going back to digging. She completely missed that there was a stone piece in the pile of clothes from the explosion, which now just sat in the open.
Over in Zoey's section, she hadn't dug anything up yet, but Mike came over to join her. "Mike? Did you already find a piece in your section?" she asked him, pausing her digging to look up at him.
"Umm, no, but I figured I could help you out and give you some company while we try and find the statue pieces. That's fine right?" Mike asked, sitting down beside her.
Zoey nodded, before starting to dig again. "Sounds great, thanks Mike!" she thanked him, and the two now dug together to get through Zoey's section as quickly as they could.
The Vultures were nowhere near as cooperative with each other as the Hippos were, with Jo and Heather still bickering. "Fine, we'll work in a circular motion towards the center." Heather tried to negotiate a game plan with Jo, while the rest of the two team just shoveled in various random places.
"No! Start with the corners then move to the center and zigzag!" Jo argued, pointing to the corners of their area.
Gwen looked over at the two arguing and rolled her eyes. "Some team." she commented, before just going back to shoveling.
"Exactly!" Heather agreed with Gwen, trying to swing people to her side. "A team without a leader is like a horse without a head! It just runs around blind!" she added, getting the animal wrong.
Gwen didn't stop her shoveling this time, but her tone and face were still annoyed all the same. "I'm pretty sure a horse with a head doesn't run anywhere, it just dies." Gwen corrected Heather, making Jo smirk.
Now Jo took this as an opportunity to try and swing the others to her side instead. "Agreed! Which is why I should be this team's leader!" she stated, pointing at herself.
"No, I should!" Heather argued, pointing at herself as well.
Jo stuck her shovel in the ground and leaned on it, crossing her arms. "Let's let the team decide then!" Jo suggested, looking confident in the idea.
Heather nodded, also confident in the idea. "Fine! Blaineley! Get over here!" Heather turned around and called to Blaineley while walking in her direction.
Jo turned around and did something similar. "Lightning! Come here!" she called to Lightning, heading towards the water where the athlete was still digging.
Gwen watched the two of them head off to try and rally support and groaned, kicking the sand. "Ugh, those two won't stop bickering! I give up! Woah!" Gwen shouted as she tripped over Alejandro, landing next to him.
Alejandro smiled at Gwen, leaning in closely. "I hope you know that I appreciate your efforts. You are as wise as your skin is translucent~" he said to her soothingly, bringing a hand to her cheek.
-Confessional: Villainous Vultures: Gwen-
Gwen's face was a little red, and she was fanning herself while sitting. "I know he's evil but... oof, those eyes!"
-End Confessional-
"Attention team!" Jo shouted to her team, standing a bit away from Heather now and planting her shovel into the sand. "I am your leader!" she declared, pointing at herself.
Heather had her shovel raised with one hand, pointing at herself with the other. "No, I am!" she shouted, before putting her shovel down in the sand as well. A loud clank was heard, and Heather looked down, realizing she had just hit one of the treasure pieces. "I found a piece!" she announced, grabbing the piece out of the sand and holding it with both hands.
Heather started to head back to their platform with it, although Jo ran after her to try and take it. "You'd never have found it without me!" Jo tried to argue, grabbing the other end of the piece.
To try and put her in her place, Heather just dropped the piece, letting it fall straight onto Jo's foot. She let out a pained yell, glaring at Heather. "Oops! Sorry!" Heather fake apologized, turning her back on Jo.
In response, Jo shoved Heather forward and into the crab moat, making her let out repeated yelps of pain as she was pinched by the crabs. Chris laughed as this happened, now eating peanuts and cashews from a bowl of mixed nuts. "Two booby traps, two puzzle pieces, and two deliciously evil moats! It's still anyone's game, but it won't be for long when we return on Total, Drama, All Stars!" Chris commentated, seeing as how one piece had been found on both sides. The shot then faded to black after that, cutting to commercial break.
When the episode returned, Chris was still eating his assorted nuts, but the bowl was halfway empty now. "An hour has passed since the teams began to dig for their buried treasure, which leaves a very important question up in the air." Chris whispered to the camera. "WHAT IS TAKING SO LONG!?" he yelled, with the shot panning out to show all the campers digging at the sand still.
"I don't want to chip my nails on live TV!" Blaineley whined, pointing at her hands.
"We don't have shovels!" Bridgette shouted, pointing at the Vultures with their shovels.
"I'm sha-mazing!" Lightning pointed at himself, before striking a pose.
Chris leaned back in his seat, groaning at their complaints. "Blah blah blah, whine whine, hurry it up already! I have dinner plans!" Chris yelled back at them, before indulging in his nuts again.
Bridgette walked back over to her digging spot after Chris just dismissed their complaints, but she accidentally stepped on a pressure plate and was sent flying into the air with a yell thanks to a spring platform. Scott laughed at the situation, but was soon shut up as she landed right on him. "Sorry! Thanks for breaking my fall though. Good luck!" Bridgette apologized, before getting up and jogging back to the Heroes' side of the beach.
Scott got up with a pained moan as he stood back up, but his mood quickly changed as he turned around and saw a piece in the sand that had been slightly popped out thanks to the collision with Bridgette. "Heh, look at you here!" Scott chuckled as he dug up the piece and tossed it up onto the platform.
"And that's two for the villains!" Chris announced as the piece landed on the platform, sitting next to the other one.
Zoey was pulling a piece out of the ground at around the same time, with Mike hurrying over to help her. With them combined, the two were easily able to get the piece out of the ground. "There we go! Now we can dig in my section and we'll be done in no time!" Mike exclaimed, wiping his hands for a moment.
A cannon suddenly rose from the ground after they tossed the piece though, and Mike ducked down with Zoey before it could fire at them. "Woah! Look out!" Mike shouted, just as the cannon fired a cannonball out.
Beth was still digging in her section when she heard Mike yell, although she didn't have time to move out of the way and was promptly knocked into the moat by the cannonball. She let out several pained screams as she tried to climb out, and was soon helped out by Brick, who had rushed to rescue her. "Be careful soldier, this challenge is not for the faint of heart!" Brick warned her as he pulled a crab out of her hair, tossing it into the moat.
Back on the Vultures' side, Gwen had just dug one piece up, pulling it out of the ground. "Yeah! Got one!" she exclaimed, holding it up.
"Way to go Gwen!" Duncan cheered for her, although as soon as he walked close, a trap activated and launched a bucket of sand at his face. Gwen snickered at this mishap and walked away with her piece to take it back to the platform.
As Gwen walked back, she passed up Jo, who had dug a fairly big hole in the ground. "Ha! Finally!" she exclaimed, reaching into the hole and pulling out another statue piece, raising it above her head.
"Lightning to the rescue! Way to go me!" Lightning praised himself as he ran over and grabbed the piece Jo just grabbed, running off with it. Instead of chasing him down though, Jo just let him be and stormed off to go find another statue to dig up.
The Heroes were starting to get on a good streak with pieces too, as Owen had just found one in his section. "Check it out guys! I found-" Owen began to show off the piece he grabbed, but a wooden plank came up underneath him and slammed into his kiwis. "A-Another one..." Owen let out, in a much higher pitched voice.
"Nuts?" Chris asked, holding his bowl out for Chef to take some if he wanted.
Lightning had dug up a piece of his own out of the ground finally, although he didn't look impressed by it at all, since it looks like some kind of eyebrow. "Nah, too small for Lightning!" Lightning threw the piece behind him over his head. The piece ended up hitting Jo in the back of the head, and sent her falling into the moat, yelling as the crabs pinched her over and over.
-Confessional: Villainous Vultures: Jo-
Jo was rubbing the back of her head where she was hit with one hand, glaring at the camera. "Working with fizzle is going to make this a looooong season, but I'm going to make sure I keep the numbers advantage. No way is Heather getting that one over me! Just as I thought, she's already trying to take over the team! News flash queenie, no one tells me what to do!"
-End Confessional-
Scott was whistling to himself as he walked over to the line between the Heroes' side of the beach and the Villains' side, looking around to see if anyone was watching. Since everyone was occupied, he stepped over the line and began digging on the Heroes' side. It wasn't long before he came across one of their pieces, snickered as he grabbed it. "Hehehe, find this one you fat hippos!" he said to himself as he then dug up a hole on the Villains' side, dumping the piece he stole in it and then burying it.
"Excuse me? What do you think you're doing there with our dang piece?" LeShawna asked him, startling Scott and making him turn around to see the ghetto girl glaring at him.
Scott rested his shovel on his shoulder, putting on his best innocent face. "Whatever do you mean?" he asked, while LeShawna narrowed her eyes further at him.
"Oh, you know what I'm talkin 'bout boy! You done messed up!" LeShawna pushed past Scott and kicked aside the sand on top of the hole he made, revealing the piece he had buried.
LeShawna grabbed the statue piece out of the hole with one hand, before smacking Scott across the face with the other hand and knocking him to the ground. "HEY VILLAINS!" she called to the rest of the Villains, who all mostly looked over. "You got yourselves a clown over here making a fool of himself tryna steal our pieces! This rat is your problem, not ours! Now stay on your side!" LeShawna told on Scott, before giving him one hard kick while he was on the ground. Pretty much all of the Vultures who looked over glared at Scott, while Blaineley applauded him with several claps.
-Confessional: Heroic Hippos: LeShawna-
LeShawna had her hands on her hips, not looking even the slightest bit guilty. "Sorry not sorry white boy, but no one tries to pull a fast one on LeShawnny and gets away with it! Nuh-uh, you ain't just a clown if you think that's gonna work, you're the whole circus!"
-End Confessional-
Back on the Vultures side, Heather was getting back to digging after the whole Scott callout when she noticed Alejandro dig up a piece. As soon as he grabbed it though, his legs wobbled a bit and he nearly fell over. "Oh don't try to play the sympathy card with me! Your legs work just fine!" Heather yelled at him, walked right up to him.
Alejandro rubbed each of his legs with one hand after the other before looking at Heather with a slight glare. "Just because my legs aren't asleep anymore, does not mean that they are as strong as they used to be mi amore. They probably into atrophy from not using them for an entire year! Now please, leave me be if all you insist on doing is mocking my physical state." Alejandro told her, before walking away slowly with his statue piece, trying to take it easy on his legs.
Heather watched him walk away and stomped her foot, still not feeling sorry for him in the slightest. "Whatever, he's just trying to make me feel sorry for him." Heather muttered as she walked off to go dig.
On the Heroes' side, Brick was carrying a piece from his section when he passed by Bridgette digging at a rather slow pace while looking over at the Vultures' side instead of where she was digging. "What's the matter soldier? You seem to be bothered by something." Brick asked, tossing his piece onto the platform and kneeling down next to her.
"Oh it's nothing, just umm, a bit worried that we might lose again." Bridgette lied, looking down at the sand now.
Brick nodded, then standing back up. "Well forgive my bluntness, but going that slow will only ensure that they win! So pick up the pace soldier!" Brick told her, before jogging off to go dig in his own section and try to find another piece.
Bridgette looked over at the platform once Brick left though and noticed that there were now 6 pieces on the platform. "We only have two left to go! There is still one in my section, who hasn't found one yet?" Bridgette asked the team, catching their attention.
Beth raised her hand, standing up and waving to her team. "I haven't found one either!" she responded, prompting the team to split up and start digging in their sections.
"Yeah... you guys do that. I'm gonna... catch my breath. All this digging has gotten me hungry..." Owen told them, laying down on the ground. As soon as he laid down though, he activated another spring platform that sent him flying out into the lake, getting hit by a boat that was driving by as well. "Gah that smarts!"
Chris winced at the accident, actually looking like he felt bad for Owen for a moment. "Ouch, when we did our safety test, that boat wasn't there." Chris said, taking his glasses off his face for a moment to get a better look out at the lake and see if Owen was fine.
"As if we actually test these things!" Chef chimed in, which made Chris drop his worries and laugh with Chef.
The call to action from the Heroes was overheard by Jo, who looked over at their platform and counted up their pieces. "7 pieces people! We've got 7! Pick up the piece so we can trounce these hippos!" Jo ordered, then starting to dig at a faster pace.
It wouldn't be long before they found their final piece though, which Blaineley pulled out of the sand. "Here is the last one! Oh that's just perfect! Blaineley, the hero everyone needed, getting the final piece and winning the game for the team! Being at the forefront of the-" Blaineley began to ramble, but was cut off by Duncan.
"Save the beauty pageant talk for the confessional, we've gotta win this!" Duncan told her as he took the piece from her, tossing it onto their platform.
Hearing that the last piece was found, now all of the Villains were running towards the platform, which brought more concern to the Heroes who were still trying to find the last two pieces they needed. Although the number went from two to one as Bridgette finally found her piece and pulled it out of the sand. "Found mine! Now we just need Beth's and we've got it!" Bridgette exclaimed, tossing hers onto the platform and hurrying over with Brick and Owen to help the others in Beth's section.
As soon as they arrived in Beth's section, Owen noticed the pile of clothes on the ground and giggled. "Hey, whose clothes are these? They look pretty good, I'm gonna try them on!" Owen bent over and grabbed one of the shirts, checking the size on it.
Once Owen lifted the shirt up though, it uncovered the last piece that had been blown out of the sand from the explosion way earlier. "Woah! There it is! Hurry everyone, we can still win this!" Zoey pointed at the statue, which Mike grabbed since he was closest to it. The Hippos all hurried onto their platform, with the exception of Owen who couldn't make the climb and just watched from below.
-Confessional: Heroic Hippos: Beth-
Beth was still wearing the explorer's hat, hugging her legs while sitting in the confessional. "I feel so stupid! How was I supposed to know those clothes covered up the last piece! If we lose, LeShawna won't vote me off right? Maybe Owen won't either? Hopefully he doesn't know I voted for him last time..."
-End Confessional-
The Vultures were currently putting together their statue, except for Lightning who was currently kissing his muscles. "Hmm, it's tall, it's shaped like a head I think. It's got one part with two big holes... oh! It's a Moai statue from Rapa Nui!" Gwen figured out what the statue was supposed to be, and started to put it together with the neck base at the bottom.
"So the nose just hooks on once we've got the rest of the head made?" Duncan asked, holding up the stone nose.
"That's kinda the idea genius." Gwen responded, since the answer was pretty obvious.
The Heroes were getting their statue put together as well, with its shape being much easier to put together it seemed. "It's the Whitehorse from the Yukon!" Beth exclaimed, pointing at the hooves on some of the pieces.
"But what's the pole for? This isn't part of the statue I think." Mike asked, pointing at the pole among the pieces that Bridgette was holding.
Bridgette looked down at the piece and shrieked, dropping it on her foot and letting out a yelp of pain. "Are you okay soldier? Your hands slipped there!" Brick asked her, picking up the pole.
Rubbing the foot the pole hit, Bridgette nodded her head. "Yeah, I'm fine. I think that part of the statue is just so the whole thing stays balanced." Bridgette answered, shivering for a moment afterwards.
It was a narrow race to put the statues together, although thanks to the Hippos' better cooperation, they were able to get their horse statue put together before the Vultures could get their Moai statue done. "The Heroic Hippos win!" Chris announced, making the winning team cheer and the Vultures collectively groan.
"Spa hotel! Spa hotel!" Beth and Brick cheered, although the latter got some weird reactions from his cheering. "What? A man needs his spa day!" Brick tried to defend himself from the looks.
"Ahem!" Chris cleared his throat, looking over at the Hippos. "I do require a volunteer for exile duty!" Chris brought up the exile, which did dampen the mood a bit.
It wasn't that bad though, since someone volunteered quickly. "I'll do it!" Beth volunteered, raising her hand. "It's only fair, since it took everyone's help to find my piece after my mistake." she added, which alleviated some of the worry for her.
Before anyone could thank Beth or say anything to her, Chef picked her up quickly and tossed her onto his boat, then driving away in it right to Boney Island. Beth waved goodbye to her team as the boat sped off, with her team returning the wave. Now that exile was taken care of, Chris looked over at the Vultures. "Villains! I'm gonna be seeing you guys at the bonfire ceremony tonight, so be ready!" Chris laughed afterwards, making the Villains exchange looks with each other. Some nervous, some angry, some sad, but none were happy.
Later that night, the campfire ceremony pit was packed with contestants, with the Hippos sitting in the peanut gallery and the Vultures sitting on the tree stumps. In the back row sat Jo, Lightning, Scott, and Blaineley, while Alejandro, Heather, Gwen, and Duncan sat in the front row. "Welcome Hippos! Sit back and enjoy the show!" Chris said to the peanut gallery as he walked up to his podium.
"Vultures, it's time for you to vote off your first villain!" Chris now looked towards the Vultures, with Duncan getting up out of his seat to go vote first.
-Confessional: Villainous Vultures: Duncan-
Duncan held up both hands, gesturing to each one as if they were a person while he talked. "Scott really blew it today and got us in hot water, but nothing bad happened really because of it... yet. But Blaineley is super annoying. Tough call."
-Confessional: Villainous Vultures: Gwen-
"Ugh... I don't know who to vote for... they're all evil!"
-Confessional: Villainous Vultures: Blaineley-
Blaineley looked troubled, counting on her fingers. "So you've got Gwen and Duncan, that's relationship drama so they're keepers. Scott is a cheater who already got himself in a major scuffle. That's another keeper for sure. Bringing LeShawna's anger out like that was amazing! The fire between Alejandro and Heather? Can't vote either of them off either, I can't wait to see where that goes! Jo? With her battle for team supremacy with Heather? That's yet another keeper! Which leaves Lightning. Sorry kid, nothing personal, that's just showbiz baby!"
-End Confessionals-
Chris had the photographs used in the votes in his hands, currently facing away from the contestants while Chef stood with a tray of 7 marshmallows in his hands. "The following players are safe for another day! Remember, if you don't get a marshmallow, it's straight to the Flush of Shame!" Chris reminded them, not doing the usual long ceremony intro since they were all stars. They should know by now.

"Duncan."
Chris showed Duncan's photo and Chef tossed the bad boy his marshmallow, which he caught and then winked at Gwen. Gwen just rolled her eyes at the gesture and looked away, making him frown.
...
...
...
"Jo."
Jo snatched her marshmallow out of the air, not surprised in the slightest to have received a marshmallow.
...
...
...
"Gwen."
Gwen caught her marshmallow, also with an unsurprised look. She didn't even look Duncan's way as she popped it into her mouth.
...
...
...
"Lightning."
"Sha-yeah! You know Lightning ain't going home when he carried the team!" Lightning cheered for himself as he punched the marshmallow thrown to him, sending it towards the peanut gallery. "That's one for the fans!" he added, while Owen caught the marshmallow and ate it.
...
...
...
"Alejandro."
The Spaniard caught his marshmallow with a smile, leaning back at bit as he ate it.
...
...
...
"and Heather!"
Heather caught her marshmallow with a smirk, making Jo scowl quietly from behind.
That left those in the bottom two without marshmallows to look at each other for a moment. Scott nervously gulped, realizing he was in danger. Blaineley looked extremely stressed, having her hands on her cheek and her eyes widening as if she would die if she didn't get this marshmallow. "Scott, you're on the chopping block for your scuffle with LeShawna and being pretty untrustworthy!" Chris said why Scott was here, making him a bit more nervous.
"We're villains, that's what we do!" he replied, sounding a bit exasperated.
"And Blaineley!" Chris began, moving on to the other player. "You're on the chopping block for being a pain in the butt and being a complete weirdo. They are right after all, you are a pathetic actress and host who will never be on the same level as me, so why even try right? But yeah, that's the deal." Chris said, clearly showing his bias here.
Blaineley just looked more scared, although she blinked her eyes a couple of times and pulled out a mirror. "Hold on, I really need to nail the scared expression. Gotta show how I can deliver in intense scenes for my future employers!" Blaineley said, starting to do her makeup. She pulled out a water bottle and splashed it on her face as well, creating fake tears.
Chris rolled his eyes, now ready to show the photo of whoever was going home. "And tonight's loser is..."

"Scott!" Chris revealed Scott's photo with a red X drawn on it, while Chef tossed the final marshmallow to Blaineley.
Scott got up from his seat and groaned, while Blaineley now began to take huge breaths. "Oh my goodness! Thank you all so much! You've given me the chance to see another day! Another moment in the spotlight! I'm grateful to you all!" she thanked her team, then dropped the act and looked towards the peanut gallery. "Was that good? Did I look scared?" Blaineley asked them, which made things a bit awkward now.
"Oh zip it, you're still in the game! So shut up already!" Scott yelled at Blaineley before storming off to head down the Dock of Shame.
Cutting ahead, Scott was now in the Flush of Shame with the rest of the Vultures watching on the dock. "You all don't know what kind of mistake you're making! But fine! I'll let you all deal with it!" Scott pointed at his former teammates, then crossing his arms.
Chris pressed the button on his remote and activated the toilet with a beep, which made Scott scream as he was swirled around in the toilet and flushed away. "Who else is in line for a porcelain goodbye? Find out next time, on Total, Drama, All Stars!" the shot faded to black after Chris ended the show, raising his arms with each of the last words.
Contestants Remaining:
Heroic Hippos: Mike, Zoey, Brick, Owen, Bridgette, Beth, LeShawna
Villainous Vultures: Jo, Lightning, Heather, Gwen, Duncan, Alejandro, Blaineley
Placements:
15th: Scott
16th: Cameron
Author's Note:
And Scott is gone! I don't have anything against Scott like did with Cameron, but he just wasn't the type to fit in any of the plotlines I have planned for this pick. Blaineley may seem like the outlier for the Vultures, but Scott was the odd duck as far as story potential. His arc was well done in ROTI, as was Cameron, so I booted both here early since it wouldn't really be doing them an injustice. Canon All Stars Scott was softened up way too much, and was made a lot dumber on top of that. I wasn't going to soften him up just to let him make it a bit farther, so this is where he goes. I did have him making it to the merge in some of my early drafts, but he was going to mostly end up floating to get there, so I ultimately axed that placement for him.
Another important thing, I have a poll going on my profile where you can vote for you think deserves to win this rewrite! It of course won't guarantee that they win, but I'll for sure take into consideration what you guys think. Be sure to leave a review and let me know what you thought of this episode as well and I'll see you all next time! Remember, Sky is best!
