Chapter II-The Official Meeting
The next day was by all accounts like the previous one, by all accounts the night passed relatively slow for some who got into a nasty and surely unpleasant situation if the rest found out. That was in the case of Dawkins who decided to sleep alone in his own room/workshop till morning came, by all accounts he felt like he was grounded for something bad he shouldn't have done. Hopefully he wasn't going to be like that for much longer the only thing he needs to do is finding those 'magicians' as soon as possible, nearly thinking that and he was believing he was going insane. The good thing however he had Dylan, Dolly, Da Vinci, Deepak, DJ and Dante on his side to help him out in this out of reality quest immediately after their parents and everyone else had breakfast and he was still pretending to have laryngitis, despite that Dylan managed to convince their parents to let him go outside but only if he will not let him near the pond.
"All right we will leave for work now." Delilah said while opening the door with the paw scanner.
"We will take care of everyone; there will be nothing to worry about." Dylan said before looking at Dawkins with a stressed smile.
"And don't worry Dawkins, there is a pharmacy on my road, I will get the medicines you need when I get back." Doug said.
"It's more an unnatural person I need to fix this." Dawkins thought to himself.
"Maybe he will regain his voice quicker then we think." Dylan said with a smile.
"Well I think that till evening he will be able to speak again surely. And if not having the medicine is what we will need in general if another one gets laryngitis." Delilah said before both parents left. Immediately after that the group went to the attic where Dylan brought his telescope for Dante to look for the girl and her friends.
"This is the weirdest situation I have ever lived. Normally I wouldn't have to look out for a group of human teenage wizards or spellbinders." Dylan commented, of all things he ever believed, this was more a Dante or another pup fantasy to look for magical things but for him, this was his first time he was doing this and he simply couldn't believe it.
"Not the only one there Dylan." Murmured Dawkins trying not to talk too much, before Dolly started to giggle a little.
"Come now little bro this isn't the worst thing scenario."
"And what happens if the others find out? Especially if I don't speak when theoretically I should be healed, I can't say that I still have laryngitis." Dawkins commented.
"You know we can say that you decided to take of vow of silence with me. In my case Guru Meow once said that sometimes for a path to be clear and to avoid unnecessary conflict the only thing you need is silence." Deepak said in a calm demeanour.
"Do you think it could be possible? Especially if some would try to provoke me to speak." Commented Dawkins before Da Vinci thought for a bit.
"Maybe we could say that you decided with Deepak to take a vow of silence, until we manage in a week to get your voice back."
"We can declare this as a plan B to prolong the excuse for you to not talk." Dylan said but Dawkins only grumbled, by all he really wanted his voice and he really wanted to end this situation.
Outside
"I really do hope that we found the dog that has my voice, I really want it back." Tara said while walking on the alleyway towards the park where everything started, she was now wearing a scarf to motivate that she has laryngitis to passersby.
"I do admit that barking like a dog really, isn't for you, neither is this voice that comes with the medallion."
"Not funny Cal!" Tara said hitting him on the shoulder.
"I wonder how that puppy looked like." Sparrow asked.
"It was surprisingly black with purple spots everywhere, slender and not too much fur and very little. Between us I believe he was probably dyed with colorant for the hair." Cal said trying to remember it.
"Well, with the spell we did yesterday we will surely find it. Wish however to know what breed it was." Sparrow said.
"Hopefully not a mutt or something like a Chihuahua."
"Or one like Manitou." Cal said annoying the blond again.
Back at the 101
"OK spellbinders come out from wherever you are." Dante said in a happy way, he surely would like to meet them and have a conversation.
"I do hope that we will not search for nothing all day." DJ commented.
"They will surely come." Dante said turning towards the park that was nearly empty, in his view it was perfect especially that by the face he is making, he would really like another battle between them and another creature.
"Besides, the park is almost deserted if they must stay secret they wouldn't bother fixing the situation we are in. Also I would like another battle between them and another creature."
"And I want only the fixing part and maybe meeting them, I want to extend my music library." DJ said while looking outside and in the corner of his eye he noticed something on the alley leading towards the park, he noticed a blond girl wearing a scarf but he recognised her not to mention the other 2 that were escorting her.
"There they are! They arrived!" DJ said turning to the others who immediately went to the window to see them.
"Is it them?" Dylan asked.
"They sure are." Dante said with a smile.
"There is no doubt it's them and by what I can tell, Tara the blond girl wants to also give impression that she has laryngitis." Dawkins said.
"Time for phase two then." Dolly said with a mischievous smile and Dylan knew what it will be, both them went immediately downstairs and Dylan immediately opened the front door with the paw analyzer while the group joined them.
"PARK!" Both shouted.
"PARK! PARK! PARK!" The avalanche of pups came down downstairs eager to get outside as soon as possible.
"Dawkins, Dante you 2 are with me. We will get near those spellbinders and then Dawkins you will speak; when they hear that you have the voice of that girl they will surely repair it." Dylan said.
"I hope this will be without other interruptions and inconveniences like another creature attack." Dawkins commented in a hushed tone.
"Agree, hopefully we will not get another harpy incident." Dylan said.
"You know if harpies do exist surely other mythological creatures exist that could cause trouble." Dante said.
"I would be really interested for scientific research I do admit." Dylan said while Dawkins looked with a mad look to him.
"But this will be, after they fix the mess the harpy did."
"Thank you." Dawkins said while they went outside towards the park with high hopes that this small unwanted thing would end as soon as possible without another creature making trouble again.
"Da Vinci, DJ where are the magicians?" Dylan asked.
"Over there, from what we can tell they are already looking for the dog that has they're friend's voice." Da Vinci said.
"You should go to them right now, who knows for how long will they be here." DJ said.
"We need to track their attention." Dante said.
"I already know how, stay here I will bring them here." Dylan said going towards Sparrow, Dylan just coming before her to track her attention.
"Hey little guy where do you come from?" She asked.
"I wish you to follow me." Dylan said before Sparrow started to tickle him on his belly.
"Good doggy, wonder where is owner." She asked.
"Don't have it." Dylan said trying to resist the tickle; she just hit his soft spot. "But that isn't important…..I wish you to follow me."
"Sparrow what are you doing?" Tara asked before noticing the Dalmatian teen.
"Sorry I saw this Dalmatian around and couldn't resist. Wonder where his owner is?" She said before Cal saw it.
"He is cute, wish only he could tell me where my voice is." Tara said caressing him on his head.
"You know I think I saw a dog like him but somehow the colors were inverted, the spots were white or purple while the rest of the fur was black." Cal said.
"If it had spots like him it means that he was a Dalmatian, but dyed in black, that must be the one we are looking for." Sparrow said.
"Phew, at least a Dalmatian is a much noble breed then a Chihuahua." Tara commented and unbeknown to them made Dylan feel proud.
"I start to like you now wizards and Dolly will as well. But you are looking for the wrong one." Dylan commented trying to make the girl follow him.
"Hey what is the problem boy?" Sparrow asked.
"Maybe he wants to play." Cal said.
"Sorry boy but we can't play now at the moment, maybe later if we meet again." Sparrow said.
"Hey wait don't, I know where your friend's voice is." Dylan said trying to hold Sparrow's leg before the boy took him up.
"Sorry pooch we got something to do now." He said placing him down before something beeped on his watch and activated it.
"Off parfait. It seems we got another problem at this moment." Tara said.
"Good thing it is close by. We deal with it fast and we get back to searching for your voice." Sparrow said.
"Hopefully before other dogs come by here." Cal commented before the 3 started to run towards the wildest part of the park.
"Hey, wait where are you going?!" Asked Dylan but the 3 just ran towards the area with more dense vegetation before DJ, Da Vinci, Dante, Deepak and Dawkins came.
"Way to go Dylan I should have came with you." Dawkins commented.
"Don't despair we will go after them." Dylan said.
"Dylan by now they could be anywhere." Da Vinci said.
"Let's go find Dolly and Delgado hopefully they kept an eye on them." Dylan said while they went running towards Dolly who was playing with the others.
"Dolly we got a problem." Dylan said.
"Hey what is the problem, did you found them?" Dolly asked going to them.
"Dylan tried to bring them to us but they got distracted by something whom they detected on their smart watches or whatever they got." Da Vinci said.
"Where is Delgado?" DJ asked.
"He will arrive soon don't worry." Dolly said.
"I really hope so." Dawkins said before Delgado came.
"Dolly you wouldn't believe…."
"Because I am not having this voice for the rest of my days. There is no way things could get any worse." Dawkins commented before seeing his siblings a little nervous because something was behind him.
"Let me guess is someone behind me?" He asked before turning his head to see Delgado with a face of shock and little by little been ready to start laughing.
"Delgado please."
"HA-HA-HA-HA-HA. Wha-what ha-happened to-to you?" He asked trying to contain his laugh before Dolly came in.
"You probably followed and found the humans I asked you to look for isn't it." She asked and he still trying to control himself nodded.
"Yeah and...you wouldn't ha-ha believe what I found out."
"The fact that they are wizards and use magic?" Asked Dylan tracking his handicapped brother's attention.
"Yeah, how did you know?" Dylan then pointed to Dawkins who was now trying to pretend to have laryngitis and not speak.
"Yesterday Dawkins alongside DJ, Dante, Da Vinci and Deepak saw them fighting against a harpy who was stealing voices and he was hit by a spell causing them to switch voices with the blond girl Tara who surely is as well trying to pretend that he lost her voice." Dylan explained amazing Delgado.
"We found out yesterday about this." Dolly came.
"Wow didn't know that." He said calming himself now.
"Anyways I need to get to them to get my voice back." Dawkins said.
"Don't worry I know where they are, but I don't quite advise you to go right now?" Delgado said with a stressed voice.
"Why not? Don't tell me you will tell others!"
"No, not that, it is because they must stop a Semchanac from what I heard."
"Semchanac! What is a semchanac?!" Dawkins asked before they heard a scream and saw Triple D running away from something.
"I believe it might be that thing." Deepak said pointing in towards the dense vegetation and out came a giant bipedal wolf like creature.
"Is that what I think it is?" Dolly asked shocked for seeing something like this.
"A Werewolf?!"
"Ohh, so a semchanac is for the spellbinders a creature that causes trouble. This is something really new." Dante said with a smile.
"Trouble-making supernatural creature or semchanac I don't care I will get my voice back." Dawkins said more and more impatient before Dolly stopped him from behind while DJ and Da Vinci went in front of him to keep him still.
"Let's let them solve the problem with the big bad wolf first then you will be able to go and get your voice back." Dolly said.
"Ohhh!"
"Don't worry we will keep an eye on them and immediately after they finish what they do we will immediately go to them, to fix the problem." Dylan said although he saw that his side-kicks patience was driving thin, but for now he had to comply not even he would risk his life to go head on with that abnormality of a creature.
"Now let's try to go and follow them. Hopefully others wouldn't have to."
"Help us." Destiny said jumping on Dylan.
"The big bad wolf is behind us." Dallas followed.
"We don't want to be eaten." Deja Vu finished.
"Triple D it is not quite the time." DJ said.
"And sorry to disappoint but you aren't the only ones with a problem with the magical stuff." Da Vinci said before the 3 turned to them.
"What do you mean by that?" Destiny asked.
"There is a giant wolf over there." Dallas said.
"Werewolf actually or for the spellbinders whom we have to keep an eye on, a semchanac." Dante said with a smirk.
"Why would you want to keep an eye on them?" Destiny asked.
"For a good reason." Dawkins said with a monotonous voice which shocked the 3 divas.
"Yesterday they fought against another evil creature, a harpy to be more precise, and a spell hit me that inversed my voice with one of them human and now I speak with the voice of a girl. And I want my voice back." Dawkins explained and the 3 were barely managing to hold their burst of laughter.
"And please don't try to laugh now." Dawkins implored them.
"S-sorry...we can't resist it." Destiny said ready to burst more and more into uncontrollable laughter.
"You better not talk at all...for us not to lose control...try to follow them." Dallas said with her paw to her mouth.
"And get your voice back as soon as possible." Deja Vu said.
"This is what we are trying to do, let's go." DJ said and the group went in the direction of where the battle was commencing between the spellbinders and the werewolf.
"A werewolf in this form during the day, really need to find out how and why." Dante said with a smile.
"And I am living a nightmare." Dawkins said, all in all those days were everything but pleasant for him due to the finding out about the supernatural, although he could have great pleasure in studying about those creatures.
"Hopefully they will solve this problem and wouldn't be another." Dylan said.
"Me too really."
"Please don't hold a grudge against them now you will get your voice back."
"I just hope that they would finish quick and I wish to not have to chase that wolf or another creature all around the place." Dawkins commented.
"I believe they already finished." Da Vinci said pointing to the now paralyzed werewolf.
"Now to call them." Dante said going out from the hiding place towards them.
"Hey wait." DJ said.
"I believe that Master Chem should try to create a third team to hunt semchanacs." Tara commented.
"True." Cal said before noticing Dante on the road.
"If I could be able to speak with you I have so many questions."
"Hey that is the dog I saw." He said pointed to Dante.
"Catch it." Sparrow said and he along with Sparrow went to him.
"Don't worry little guy we don't want to harm you, just to fix a problem created yesterday." Sparrow said while the Goth Dalmatian realising that they probably think it was him who had her voice.
"Uh-oh." Dante said trying to make a run for it but didn't went too far.
"Got you." Cal said lifting him up smiling to him. "Don't worry pooch it will not hurt at all."
"Tara we got it. This is the one I saw." He said going to the blond girl who couldn't help but think that he was cute and a bit weird.
"Wow he surely is dyed in black but he surely is a cute little black Dalmatian." She said rubbing his head while the group of Dalmatians were watching and Dawkins was shocked that they caught his brother.
"Wait it isn't him you are looking for." Dylan called going to them followed by Dolly, DJ, Da Vinci, Deepak, Triple D and Delgado.
"You are making a mistake!" Da Vinci said.
"Dante isn't the one that got your voice." DJ followed however for the 3 spellbinders it was only barking.
"Ahh Sparrow, can you give us a clue as to what is with those dogs?" Cal asked.
"By what I can tell they know this little guy and they surely are thinking that we might want to harm him." Sparrow said trying to calm them not noticing that the paralysis spell wore off on the werewolf.
"Hey you don't need to worry nothing will happen to him I only need my voice back." Tara said none were paying attention to the werewolf that wanted now to make a run for it all except the pup that got the spellbinder's voice.
"Now is my chance." Said the werewolf trying to sneak away.
"Oh non, tu ne pars pas d'ici, bizarrerie." Dawkins said with determination before jumping and biting the leg of the creature.
"Auch!" The werewolf shouted tracking the attention of the others.
"The werewolf!" Sparrow said.
"You little punk, you will..."
"Hey, Via Paralysis." Tara said paralysing the beast before attempting to hit the little one.
"Pas de cruauté envers les animaux ici."
"Nice one there.(woof-woof-woof)" Dante barked impressed.
"Wait, he is barking, he doesn't have your voice." Cal said.
"Comment! If he doesn't have my voice then who?" Tara asked.
"MOIS!" Dawkins shouted and everyone turned to him.
"I have your voice since yesterday with that, curse harpy after that magic spell hit me. I tried my best to hide it from my own family with the exception of the ones present now so I wouldn't become the laughing stock of the house." Dawkins said out loud in exasperation.
"I know that it wasn't your fault at all and I do realise that you didn't liked this period as well officially I understand what you went through and I can understand that you had to do it and to be honest I was shocked to find out that magic exist and what happened was official collateral damage and we can all go on with millions of questions about each other but for now Please put Dante my brother down and let's fix the damage from yesterday I only want my voice back." Dawkins said not noticing who was behind him which stunned the spellbinders.
"Right away, sorry for the confusion and the damage." Tara said while Cal placed Dante down.
"No worries."
"I still want to put questions though." Dante said and the boy was ready to question what he said.
"He thanked you. Now can we please get over with?" Dawkins said.
"Right away, 2 questions thou. You don't have an owner?" Sparrow said.
"No, just us dogs staying together in a house with our parents taking care of ourselves." Dawkins explained.
"And the second question how many members do you got in your family?" Cal asked.
"We are 99 siblings plus our parents, why?"
"Well..." Cal started scratching behind his neck and everyone looked very nervous now for what they are seeing behind him.
"What is it?"
"Ahh Dawkins." Dylan started nervously.
"We may got a problem." Dolly continued.
"Of giant proportions." DJ finished before a knot in his stomach was formed and turned around his to see to his horror all his siblings dumbstruck they now know.
"You." Destiny started feeling sorry for him "are so." Dallas followed in the same manner "busted."
"Wow did you all heard that." Dimitri 1 started with a smirk.
"Never thought of this." Dimitri 2 continued with the same smirk and pup knew what was coming.
"Everyone please don't even think." Dylan came in front wanting to assert his authority.
"Dawkins is speaking like a girl, Dawkins is speaking like a girl, Dawkins is speaking like a girl." The 3 started and to make fun of him while others were laughing now at him which made the genius pup more and more sad bursting into tears and bury his face in his paws.
"Stop it now!" Dolly came.
"He already went through a lot." DJ said.
"It wasn't his or their fault." Dante said.
"Please stop." Delgado said.
"You are making him feel worst." Da Vinci said.
"This is the worst day one could have ever had." Triple D said.
"The universe really was against him today." Deepak said.
The three spellbinders despite not understanding what was happening for the other dogs they could already tell that they were making fun of him, something he only wanted to avoid feeling a little guilty for bringing him into this mess Tara took him up to comfort him.
"There, there I am sorry for what had happened." Tara said trying to comfort him.
"This is 'sob' the worst day 'sob' of my life." He said sobbing in Tara's arms.
"We have to try to stop them, but I don't think we could hit everyone with a calmus." Cal said caressing the pup.
"Wouldn't be necessary I know what to do." Sparrow said with determination going behind the 2 elder sibling head dogs.
"Paw says Stop!" Dylan and Dolly said showing their paws to stop to no avail.
"If you 3 continue like this I will have you grounded!" Dylan shouted.
"Oh come on Dylan ha-ha-ha this is the most ripping-eeeee." Dmitri 1 started before the trio noticing something scary now behind the 2.
"Good at least you stopped." Dylan said before noticing his scared face.
"Hey you 3 were never scared when we told that you are grounded." Dolly said before Dante, DJ and Da Vinci turned to them with dumbstruck faces.
"Ahh Dylan, Dolly you weren't the ones that stopped this." Dante said.
"What?"
"Look behind you." DJ said and the 2 top dogs turned around only to see a giant of a beast that looked like it was from Beauty and the Beast.
"Wraaw. All of you stop laughing right now." He shouted with a roar, which immediately stopped everyone from laughing out of fear of seeing a giant furred beast with 2 horns. And even Dawkins turned around to see and was shocked to see the girl now in such bestial form.
"He already had a hard time so how about you show him some compassion." Sparrow said and everyone made no more sounds, not wanting to upset the big furry beast lady.
"How did you...How?" Dawkins asked.
"I have the curse of the beast whenever I am anxious, angry or anything this happens besides appearing like this on command. This is what happens to be a descendant of a beast." Sparrow said while Dylan fainted before she turned back to normal.
"You are a descendant of the beauty and the beast?!"
"I am in such a happy place now." Dante said smiling like he was in love.
"We so much have different views of happiness Dante!" Dawkins said turning to them, Tara wanting to ask a question on what he just said.
"He is happy that he met wizards like you, this is what he likes, don't blame him and don't do something for him to forget, it might mean some time of quite, plus never saw him this happy."
"Well since we can't understand what they say, except for you at the moment maybe we wouldn't have to." Cal said before some magical light came out from behind them and outside came a giant blue scaled massive dragon with glasses, white eyebrows, beard and moustache.
"Well done Alpha Team." He said taking the werewolf with his own magic.
"And aside from capturing the werewolf I do hope you found the one who has Tara's voice since one of mages thinks it might be another semchanac." He said.
"This little guy you believe could be catalogued as a semchanac?" Sparrow said presenting Dawkins.
"gulp, h-hi." He said fearful not knowing what this giant fire breathing lizard could do.
"Well like I said one mage proposed that, I hope however that it didn't tracked too much attention to himself and hope that his owner didn't caused trouble with a talking dog spectacle."
"Actually he tried his best not to talk not to mention the fact that he and his family live on their own in their own house here with their parents and the little guy tried his best to restrain himself from talking since some might start to make fun of him."
"Can someone blame him for that sea of fluff?" Tara said pointing to the innumerable sea of Dalmatian puppies whom the dragon got dumbstruck on how many they were, and he wasn't alone since Dylan woke up and on seeing him fainted again.
"This now exceeds everything I ever knew now." Chem commented before turning to Tara and Dawkins.
"But anyways let's fix the situation. Tara you and must wear the medallion at the same time be ready." Master Chem said and the girl immediately pulled out her magical medallion and placed it around herself and the pup.
"This will not hurt at all wouldn't it?" Dawkins asked scared.
"Don't worry it will not hurt a bit." Tara said with a reassuring smile.
"Via Vocalis-Recuperus." Master Chem said hitting both them and in just 2 seconds the magic dissipated.
"Try it." Sparrow said before Tara adjusted her vocal cords and removed the medallion from her neck.
"Hem-hem 'I am a pop-star, You will love my face and name'. Yes my voice is back." Tara said with happiness before Dylan regain counsciousness.
"Test-test 1-2-3. Perfect, my voice is back." Dawkins said happily
"Sorry for everything that happened really wasn't our intent to cause anyone trouble.
"No it's alright guess it is your part time job to stop those creatures, so I think I understand."
"So, no hard feeling?" Cal said.
"No hard feelings, although, you might not understand what I am saying right now after gaining my voice back."
"Actually we do since you have been hit by a spell that was meant for people, the power it had brought side effects after removal you might be able to speak instead of barking for at least 2 days." The old dragon explained.
"This is not what we expected." Dylan said before going to them "Ahem, excuse me, that would he will have.(roof-roof-roof)" Dylan started a bit worried but for them it was only barking.
"Aaa, translation please." Cal asked.
"He asked if this would mean some magical repercussions and of course this is something I wish to know as well." Dawkins said.
"No it will not have any repercussions, the high mages council will decide on that. For now however." Master Chem started taking the werewolf up. "I will take this one back to otherworld and don't worry Alpha team from now only a free week here in London and also have fun with the pups." He said leaving back to otherworld.
"I guess that we will spend some time together if you don't mind of course." Sparrow said with a smile and everyone started to get excited.
"Yeeeeey!" They all exclaimed and jumped on the 3 friends.
"This is not something we expected." Tara said.
"This is what many of us do if you want to know." Dawkins said.
"Well I did thought that we should try to make up for the trouble that was caused from yesterday." Sparrow said.
"And personally I didn't expected this kind of affection from this many." Cal said.
"Ahh it wasn't actually too much trouble really." Dolly said before Delgado, DJ and Da Vinci came to her and Dylan after seeing something.
"Ahh Dylan, Dolly we got a situation." Delgado said whispering something in their ears which caused a bit of panic since it was a situation they could use a human but they need to understand them Dolly turned to the medallion that Tara wore and maybe it will work for them too if she tried. Dolly quickly took it and placed it around her neck.
"Ahh yeah about that." Dolly said and amazingly the medallion worked. "There might be something you can do."
On the other side of the Park a dogcatcher came with his net ready, he got a call from a person regarding some dogs running loose in the park and he was ready to catch everyone one of them.
"Come out, come out from wherever you are." Said the dogcatcher before seeing 3 Dalmatian puppies and went immediately to them. "Here you were."
"Excuse mois, but is there a problem." A woman asked from behind him and turning around to see a senior lady dressed in a long dress.
"Oh excuse me madam but we got a call that there are several dogs running loose around and I came to take them."
"My good man I have to give apologies, those were actually my dogs, I came here to park to let them play accidently let them, I didn't know that they will start to run around. But they just wanted to play it wasn't something bad." She explained.
"Ohh I see, strange is the fact that the report tested there were a hundred of them running."
"Surely there was a mistake, or it was simply because some people could inflate everything when they are annoyed. If that was the case it all of them were with their owners and were just playing."
"Ohh, in this case, a thousand apologies to you madam." Said the dogcatcher leaving the park.
"No worries." She said with a smile bidding farewell to the man before her granddaughter came out with her friends and the rest of the Dalmatians.
"Merci Grand-maman." Tara said going to her.
"I needed to come here for a walk anyways and I really did never expected that there will be this many." Isabella said.
"What can we say? It seems amazing stuff could be found in anything." Dylan said to her and she understood since he wore the medallion.
"Indeed and I believe my granddaughter told you about, you been like my grandsons." Isabella said with a smirk making both him and Dawkins nervous, Tara told them and it was weird hearing that.
"Ha-ha-ha, oui Madame." Dylan said with a nervous smile.
"Maybe we can call this as an unofficial thing, since we already got my grea-grandfather Manitou." Tara said with a smile before a dark brown retriever with green eyes came confusing the Dalmatians.
"And I am glad that I am the only one." He said to them.
"Great-grandfather?" Dylan asked confused.
"I am also a spellbinder but I accidentally turned myself into a dog which also gave immortality and I am also glad I am the only dog in my family." He said remarking the large number of pups moving around.
"And sir how is for you to be in this form." Asked Dawkins.
"It has its ups and downs. But aside from that I am glad that everything turned out well."

"And to make it better look at this." Cal said pulling out a collar with a gem and Dolly immediately took the medallion Dylan was wearing.
"That is Clarissa's collar! How did you manage it?" Dolly asked impressed.
"Well since we told you a bit about the magical stuff including about Otherworld I have to tell you that I came from a long line of Master Thieves and on otherworld I attended a school for Thieves." He said.
"You got my respects Cal!" Said Dolly amazed.
"Not good example for pups." Dylan said worried.
"Wouldn't they call the police for that?" Dawkins asked.
"I am a Master Thief getting this from a spoiled pampered pooch whom his owner called that dogcatcher was nothing, plus I placed a small Mentus on both of them for them to forget everything for good measure." Cal said.
"Still don't know what to say about this consider yourselves lucky that we don't have to put a Mentus on you since you shouldn't be able to talk like us."
"If you would start to learn out language it wouldn't be a problem." Dawkins commented.
"Yeah, probably not. However I want to try something on you Dawkins." He said and somehow he knew he wouldn't like it.
Much later after the pups get home Dylan, Dolly, Dawkins and Dante were outside having a last chat with the 3 before having to leave as well all in all everything had turned out well for the rest of the day, for both parties.
"You know it's really unbelievable to understand the world from the perspective of dogs but between us now I really am proud to be an animal lover." Sparrow said.
"Indeed not to mention the fact that we learn also about the supernatural, which by the way like I said Dante got the best day of his life." Dawkins commented turning to his Goth brother that was wearing the medallion.
"Wouldn't change this for everything, it really made my day." Dante said only by his smile they realized that he was more than happy for what happened.
"By the way thanks for giving us the medallion with the translation stone it's amazing that it works for us as well. Spared me from been the translator for many."
"No problem, still watch out those days while you can talk to us without the medallion for those 2 to 3 days. You don't want unwanted attention." Tara said.
"I sure don't and also I should watch out for some 'twitches'. I know that you are a number one fan of that singer Madney Spears but it is kind of a twitch that you sing that song whenever you hear it." Dawkins commented.
"I don't do that." Tara protested while the dogs raised their eyebrows "It is just she is the best."
"Yeah, whatever DJ thanks you for giving her some songs extending his music library also likes how you sing. Of course it was through me that he heard you sing live."
"Tell him I am glad that he recognized my talents." Tara said with a smile.
"I wouldn't take that into account however." Sparrow whispered to them before Dolly placed the medallion around his neck.
"By the way I hope that you wouldn't have to encounter other semchanacs in your free time now."
"Believe us we would really want including my grandmother whom she visits a friend here." Tara said.
"To tell you the truth we want that as well." Dylan said slithering his neck near Dolly to also wear the medallion. "I wonder how it is with other non-spell humans, how it is when they encounter magical stuff."
"Ohh, well you see we told you about the mentus spell don't we, to erase the memory." Tara started a bit uncomfortable about this.
"Yes but please don't use it on Dante he had his best days during this time." Dylan said.
"Well in your case if you don't wear the medallion for people to understand you." Tara started.
"Don't worry we know where to keep it hidden." Dolly said pushing Dylan's head out from the medallion.
"We wouldn't have to use the mentus spell, but in the case of other people we have to use it in order for them to not know the fact that we are spell-binders in order for this to be kept secret." Tara explained.
"But don't you have non-magical friends as well especially that you don't live in the other dimension known as Otherworld?" Dawkins asked.
"Well we do have friends but the thing is rules are rules and those were made especially for us to not be discovered by some who would want to show the world like Henri Del'uqas." Tara explained before Dylan took the medallion from Dolly's neck.
"Yeah he surely would do that for money and fame unlike others for sure, but even with that wouldn't you sometimes need help that isn't magical especially if you have other non-magical friends that are human and not animals." Dylan asked.
"I do admit that sometimes I would like to tell Edward about my secret. There was one occasion when we tried to do a party with him Jeremy and Jordan alongside Sandra and Livia when we needed their help defend the Manor from a group of renegade werewolves. But even with that we had to cast the mentus on them." Sparrow explained remembering that day and the fact that he actually isn't afraid of her beast form.
"Look I know that you don't want to break the rules and I do admit I am like that as well with some exceptions but…" Dolly slithered her head to Dylan to wear the medallion.
"Maybe you should at least try to find someone whom you can trust and who could help you if not with semchanacs at least with unwanted attention from the likes of this Henri Del'uqas. It might ease some pressure." Dolly said.
"We will think about this." Cal said coming from the house. "Of course we might need to bypass Master Chem which you can already guess that it isn't too easy."
"And you don't want to upset a giant fire breathing dragon." Dolly commented pulling herself out.

"Well we will have to go now, we will see during the week and also we will communicate online." Sparrow said.

"This was the most unbelievable event we ever encountered." Dawkins said breathing easily.
"You can say that again." Dmitri 1 coming from the other room.
"You just had the voice of that girl and we just befriended a group of wizards." Dmitri 2 added.
"And I still can't believe that girl is the descended of the Beast!" Dmitri 3 said in a way a bit terrified by that realization.
"Come on all of you, it wasn't like it is something to be afraid off." Dolly said.
"We aren't." Dmitri 3 said.
"Because it is coolest thing we ever encountered." The trio said in unison and excitement.
"Do we have to remind you of master Chem." Destiny started.

"You know legend says that dragons have a great love for gold and from what Tara, Cal and Sparrow told us he surely has a giant treasure, which he guards like the eyes on his head." Dylan said.
"A treasure guarded by a dragon now is the only thing one is afraid to approach." Dawkins commented.
"And one that does it is someone who wishes instant death, to be roasted and eaten by a dragon." Dolly said.
"Or have his city burned by an angry dragon invasion." Dante said in a gloomy voice.
"Anyways I believe I had enough magic for one day." Dawkins said opening the door to his room/workshop and something had caught his eye a small wooden box.
"Hey how did this come here?" Dawkins asked himself.

"Hello little one I have to tell you that the high Mage Council had decided that for those 2 to 3 days you might be kept under surveillance by me, of course it is something I see as tedious, but even with that I shall do it. But you don't need to worry it will disappear immediately after you start barking again for us and only through the crystal you will be able to talk." Dawkins said.
"Lucky me." He said monotonous thinking however for a bit.
"Excuse me sir but how did it came here?"
"I gave it to Cal so he will give it to you, didn't he told you what I told you now?"
"He didn't mentioned anything actually, we just found it in his room." Dylan said.
"In this case one would say that he wanted to make you a surprise." Chem said.

"Well in any case you should watch out I will know when you outside too far from home. But aside from that I wish you a good day." The dragon said with a smile.
"I wonder for how far you can go outside." Dylan said.
"Let's make a test." Dawkins said before starting to run to get outside on the street and when it was in front of Constantan's door he tripped going to the ground and his bigger siblings alongside Deepak, Delgado, Dante and Da Vinci came to check to find out that the bracelet and Dawkins' right paw was floating in the air.
"Well it seems it stops right in front of Constantan's door and probably in front of Clarissa's as well." Said Dolly before Dawkins got up and turned to his other siblings.
"Did any of you saw Cal doing something off?" Dawkins asked.
"Not by what we saw, he didn't seem to do anything suspicious." Deepak said.

This been something Sparrow wanted to do but Cal made it appear, and also took a picture of it.
"Ohh yeah it was outside, Tara and her friends are here on a vacation and we met them and also the pups wanted to play with them. And also one of the girls Sparrow wanted to make Dawkins wear this." Dylan said while both he and Dolly were about to laugh while their brother was getting angry on Cal he told him not to post it when he did it.

"Hey don't worry let's be glad it isn't something else, besides it was only a garment one that is probably worn by wizards of Otherworld." Dolly said.
"I am not a fan of magic I didn't even believed in it till yesterday." Dawkins said.
"We know that, neither have I to be honest." Dylan added supporting him, both of them had been for a shock with this stuff and it will take some time till they get use to the idea.
"Ahh by the way I need to try something to make sure if the twitch had vanished or it will vanish after 2 days." DJ came with his own tablet.
"What exactly DJ?" Dawkins asked and the music maestro showed him a certain song that was added in those days.

"Need to know how much the twitch will be active." DJ said starting the song.
