(Location: None Your Fucking Business)
I sat in a bar drinking scotch and and bourbon, I was trying to nurse a hangover, but the Bartender kept watering it done. Fucking Volus and their double standards...
I was out of the Blue Suns, six months in and I grew bored of them, so I burnt the base down, sold all their non useful shit and was spending the credits to run my own little private war against general crap and thuggery.
I still went by Apollyon or when the name wasn't sufficient: The Fox. The Bar I was in was called and I quote: None Your Fucking Business. It was a shady joint but I was a Mercenary for hire, while also running a profitable Smuggling Empire, I ran it under the auspices of being the head of A Company called Apollyon Industries, I had offices on Illium, Thessia, The Citadel, Feros, Earth, and Horizon.
I primarily smuggled Weapons, Medicine, Chemicals, and Ammo. Now knowing what was coming I began stockpiling it quick smart. Buying Weapons, Armor, Ammo, and Medicine in Bulk, alongside Raw Materials and collecting Prothean Tech.
I also bought as much Mechs as possible, ATLAS, LOKI, FENRIS, it didn't matter jack shit, I needed my own bargaining chips to bring to the table.
I Was partial, insofar as Weapons were concerned, to the Scorpion, Eagle, Argus, Valiant, Typhoon, Indra, Locust, Piranha, and Carnifex. All of which save the Typhoon, Valiant, and Indra I had on me.
Ever since I left Omega, I had to have a Cybernetically-Enhanced Heart, Brain, Liver, and Lungs. I rarely ever got an alcoholic buzz and Narcotics weren't my thing. No I was all too happily enjoying my buzz to almost not notice the two new arrivals...Miranda Lawson and Jacob Taylor.
''Mr. Fox, Our employer has a job for you.'' Says Miranda.
''Nice ass.'' I say, simply resuming my drinking.
''Don't you want to know the Job?'' Asks Jacob.
''No, Mr. Taylor I do not. I mean I've seen her upper front half bare, but even if it meant a night of pleasure with the Genetic Mutt, I don't work for Old Man Harper.'' I say.
''I'm sorry, Who?'' Asks Miranda.
''Jack Harper, he's a First Contact War Veteran, served with Ben Hislop and Eva Core. Had a run in With General Dessy Arterius, Saren's big brother. Long story short he would eventually became your Illusive Man.'' I say nonchalantly.
''It seems he wants to speak with you.'' Miranda says after touching her earpiece.
''I ain't going to the Horsehead Nebula sweetheart. He wants to talk to me, well then he can give me a call like any other prospective buyer. You on the other hand can call me any time.'' I say, handing Jacob my triple encrypted business line, while slipping my quadruple encrypted private line into Miranda's pocket.
''Look I don't have anything against you guys personally, I'll be on Illium for awhile, come find me when Project Lazarus is successful.'' I say.
''What will it take to get you to join us?'' Asks Jacob.
''Kid, I'm an Ex-N7, retired the second I graduated.'' I tell him.
''Why? You go through all that training just to retire after graduation. For What?'' Asks Jacob.
''I wanted to prove I could do it, and when I did, I had nothing left to hold me down there. Besides, Cerberus isn't the only one to be preparing for the Reapers. I currently Sit atop possibly the Largest unaffiliated Stockpile of Weapons, Armor, Ammunition, Medicine, Chemicals, Raw Materials, and Heavy Weapons in the Milky Way Galaxy.'' I say.
''What was your specialty?'' Asks Miranda.
''I was a Heavy Weapons and Infiltration Specialist, something of a Mobile Biotic Artillery Unit, able to slip behind enemy lines before unleashing Hellfire and Brimstone upon my enemies. Tell the I.M I can't tell him how I know about him, my people know everything, we, after all, helped create the Reapers.'' I say before departing.
(Meanwhile at Cerberus HQ)
It wasn't very often that Jack Harper was taken off guard. But This Vigilante: The Fox. He knew who he was, he knew about Ben and Eva, as well as General Desolas Arterius.
Jack for a moment was livid, but such an outright emotion was quickly drowned out by his own curiosity. Harper had personally seen to it that the records surrounding him, Ben, and Eva were destroyed. Yet this child had find him out, and his claims about the Reapers warranted further investigation.
Jack was also concerned about the fact Fox knows that Cerberus HQ is in the Horsehead Nebula, and about Project Lazarus. If he can resurrect Shepard, then Shepard could recruit him.
The boy clearly had an attraction to Operative Lawson, and permitted her to call his private line. Could they use that?
(Apollyon Industries Tower, Illium)
I sat at my desk at Apollyon Industries Tower on Illium. Publicly I was Arcturus ''Arctus'' Fox, N7 graduate, powerful Human Biotic, philanthropist, and Producer of Cutting edge weapons and experimental military grade adrenals and antibiotics.
Privately I was The Fox, an Intergalactic Troubleshooter and Combat Specialist. My favorite Sidearm was either the Carnifex or N7 Eagle. Fox was well known for both. For an Assault Rifle it really depended on what to expect, if I was gonna fight The Blood Pack or Eclipse in any capacity then it meant that I had to Have The N7 Typhoon with Incendiary Rounds for the Blood Pack and Cryo or Disruptor Rounds for Eclipse.
As any idiot knows, Krogan and Vorcha were capable of Regeneration, and also comprised the Blood Pack itself in it's entirety. So The use of Incendiary Rounds was absolutely critical to taking the Bastard's down quick smart.
Now Eclipse was the Most Tech Savvy of the Three Major Merc Groups. Which meant lots of Biotic's, Shields, Engineers and Mechs. Cryogenic Ammo would soften up the Mechs and The Armor of the Organics, while Disruptor Rounds would deplete the Shields of the Biotic's and other heavy hitters.
If I was set to hunt down the Blue Sun's then I could be versatile. The problem with the Typhoon was it weighed a fucking ton and half, and the Mattock was more for picking off and picking apart enemies methodically before they die, while the Typhoon was for rapidly devastating and destroying Wave after wave of enemies.
I often employed the Revenant when I didn't have to worry about too overwhelming odds and too overwhelming enemies.
I was enjoying the company of two Asari prostitutes right now, sisters. Had them on retainer, chiefly because it seems my body had found a need for a delayed puberty or some shit. The Girls were Anna and Sara, their father was a Human, and their mother an Asari whose parents were a an Asari and Krogan, while their grandparents were an Asari and a pre-suit Quarian.
The two were the typical shade of blue that Liara was, okay that wasn't completely accurate, they were just a slight number of shades deeper, barely maybe two to three shades deeper that is. The two were trained Asari Huntresses, Sara specialized as a Infiltrator, while Anna specialized as an Adept. The two were part of my team that I'd picked up in the six months. Vigilante Prostitutes? The very idea is worth a few chuckles and scoffs, but the two preferred the titles of concubines, and it didn't make much of a difference to me either way, in the end the role was more or less the same to a certain number of degrees.
Outside of Sara and Anna, I had a pair of Turian brothers, a Krogan, and a Salarian and Drell. The Salarian and Drell had been raised by Humans at a refugee camp, and were known as Isaac and Carlo respectively. Isaac was an Engineer, specializing in Hacking and Turrets. Carlo was an Infiltration expert, we called Isaac Overlord and Carlo Mr. Monkey on account of Carlo's penchant for hanging off shit and Isaac being an expert Hacker.
The Turian Brothers were Ka'uri and Ka'bori, Uri was a Sniper and Biotic, and he was classified as an Adept, but he was more in line with a Biotic Engineer. Bori was a Biotic too, but he was a Biotic Demolitions Expert. Specializing as using Biotics in combination with high explosives capable of leveling a small Tuchanka hospital. We called Uri Ddraig and Bori Albion.
My Krogan was no Biotic but he was tough as fucking nails, Nakmor Gresht. Gresht was essentially Wrex, Grunt, Garrus, Legion, Alenko, and Zaeed rolled into one fucked up Krogan Commando. Naturally he classified as a Soldier.
If you wanted a visual representation of my Armor, look up N7 Slayer Vanguard, but throw in the N7 Paladin Sentinel Shield. That was essentially my look.
I kept every one of my team on retainer in some form or another, put them in positions of strength and freedom. We used to have more on staff that were part of the team, but they chose to take..."The Offer" and went to Andromeda, The Observer promised me five returns to do shit differently, but no more. I had gave him three instances to make the Offer; Onset of the Real War, Pre-Final Battle, and should I be moments away from dying in the Final Battle, of course any other instance of my death he could feel free to do it.
Also, I punched the guy in the teeth when he mentioned my past life and how he sent me here...
In any event I reached my peak inside Anna, just as my private call log came up, seems the beautiful and delicious Miranda Lawson wanted to talk...
Chapter End
Okay, here you guys go. As for The Observer himself, he's gonna be shown prominently. That's all I'm gonna say for now, and boy can't I wait until May 12th to pre-install the Legendary Edition, and then play it on the 14th.
Which is how I got that new image for this, with the My Shepard Art Creator...
In any case,
Cordially,
