Blackjack wakes up on a wooden table with blood surrounding it. He sits up and starts observing his surroundings. A room in the dark with just one functional lamp dangling from the ceiling which lights up the place partially. There's other tables, some medical equipment like IV monitors, and broken shards of glass. The soldier doesn't want to question where everyone else is or what is going on. His assault rifle isn't here though so now Blackjack is seemingly defenseless. He decides to get out and try to find it before he attempts to get out of the city. Blackjack hops off the table, but his legs wobble a little bit when his feet touch the ground. Then he goes over and opens two doors. It led to a staircase. Blackjack walks downstairs and goes through another room. He then sees the corpses of several people. These were the medics, Ursus guards, civilians, and even the Infected. There's no other living beings in sight, but there is a shortsword which Blackjack takes for defense. He also takes a pistol, which the magazine inside of it is only filled with 9 rounds. There is another magazine with only 12 rounds within it. Blackjack is a little bit lucky that he found a handgun and a melee weapon.
Blackjack goes outside after he pushes open two doors, and indeed this is hell on Terra. The Catastrophes are nearing their second phase as the sky starts to blacken. The soldier looks up as he walks down three steps. He readjusts his head to look forward and walks right over to the left gate. The right one is broken so that one can't be opened. The sound of old, rusty metal creaks as Blackjack uses his strength for pushing out the doors. He then traverses through a series of tight roads and pathways. The damage can be seen everywhere. At one point, he walked near an abandoned tavern. Through the broken window, Blackjack sees a TV screen that is broadcasting current news. "7 guards injured in the riot" read the headline. The woman that is speaking in it is trying to downplay the seriousness in this matter, before suddenly sounds of a woman screaming can be heard and a club being whacked onto her. The broadcast then changes to that of a masked rioter adjusting the camera before taking a couple step backs. Blackjack decides to watch it with both mild curiosity and a demand for answers. "We are bringing a real message to you savages," the masked man on the TV says. "We were oppressed, imprisoned, abandoned, forgotten, all because we were in contact with the virus. But you all forgot we are humans. And it's too late for that," he continues with a deep tone of that of a disappointed father. "We are members of the Reunion movement. We are rising up, to liberate all the Infected in this world. And then we will punish you exactly how you did it to us," the Reunion soldier said before Blackjack threw a chair at the TV. Now the angry soldier knows who to target: Reunion. All members of Reunion are insane. If the non-Infected die, then the Infected will die as well. Either way, this is going to be a lose-lose situation.
Five minutes later, Blackjack two sets of footsteps approaching each other so the former ducks behind cover silently. The two Infected make eye contact and then they engage into a conversation. "Did you check their houses?" One of them said in a gruff male voice. "Yeah, sure I did. I got to give those motherfuckers a club in the face for what their kind has done to my daughter," the other one says as he rolls his club viciously. "Ah, the sweet sweet release of revenge. The amount of bloodshed we're gonna experience. They never stood on our side. They turned their backs on us. And so we're punching them for it," the first enemy soldier says as if Reunion are a band of heroes, which they are in their own little world. Blackjack has heard enough and he jumps up and shoots both of them in the heads. Both Reunion soldiers fell down quickly, but only the left one is still trying to get up. Their killer rushes over to the surviving one and takes a mean look at the dying one. "Y-you. Who are you?" The Reunion member says, gasping for a breath. He instead gets a hard fist to the face and dies. Blackjack kneels down and then says, "You two are standing alongside those who want to lead all of us to death. All of us, including me and you. I'm just letting you get off the ride first."The Ursus soldier then stands back up and
The soldier stands up and hops over the fence. Then, a siren is heard as a dozen or so Reunion soldiers with blades, axes, and pipes start charging towards the one with the gun. They heard both gunshots, they knew it was the cause of a Ursus soldier. Blackjack grabs his sword and charges headfirst into the crowd. The Reunion tried to slay him, but Blackjack dodges most of these hits and ruthlessly attacks back like an assassin. Blood splatters the floors, the walls, the windows, barrels, bikes, and corpses drop dead. The last soldier tries to claw his way out of here until Blackjack walks over and points the pistol to the head of the Infected. "You now realize this situation is futile?" Blackjack asks. "N-never," the Infected responded back. "Our message will spread like wildfire. We're going to kill you and everyone els-" Blackjack pulls the trigger without any warnings and blood spills out from the back of the Reunion member's head. He's already heard enough of that shit Blackjack walked up some stairs to his left, but when he got to the top he was ambushed by two shielded rebels. One of the rebels charged first with his sword straight to Blackjack's face. The latter dodged it. The other Reunion soldier attempts to stab the enemy in the back. This misses Blackjack as he then jumps to the left and starts slicing the one behind him. "No!" The first shielded soldier shouted when his teammate got killed mercilessly. Blackjack then points the pistol at that guy and pulls the trigger. With the other one destroyed, Blackjack then leaps forward and does the finishing blow by stabbing the Infected in the heart. Blackjack then pulls the sword out of the dead body and holsters his handgun. He then puts away the melee weapon and starts walking again.
The soldier walked up a huge staircase before he then came across a bridge. The bridge is decked out with destroyed cars, barricades, and dead bodies are scattered around. Of course, there's no enemies on this bridge it seems. The survivor walked his way over the bridge until he heard a very devilish scream. A giant Infected monster jumps from the water onto the bridge, blocking the Ursus guard. It uttered another scream in pain and agony. The monster is a victim of the disease. Its left arm is completely mutilated and shows a whole lot of scars and exposed bones. The eye sockets are missing eyeballs. The right horn is very twisted and cracked. The thing grabs a car with its giant left arm and throws it at Blackjack. The soldier dodged it and he grabbed his sword and prepared to fight. The beast moved forward once and swung its left arm which broke a few cars. Blackjack dodges the swing just as a few casters and Reunion soldiers came from behind him. The Ursus soldier has walked right into an ambush. One of the three casters used Arts to attack their enemy, but Blackjack dodges it as well. He then notices a Pump-Action Shotgun. He rushes over to it just as the other two casters join in the fun. Arts were being thrown at the soldier. But they were too slow and ineffective. The shotgun has been grabbed from a dead Ursus soldier's corpse, and BAMa shell is ejected from the shotgun's right side just as the face of the caster on the left explodes into bloody pieces, his mask broken into 9 pieces. The sound of the shotgun being pumped to chamber in a new shell is followed by another shot. The middle caster falls down backwards with half his face obliterated. The huge beast tries to slam Blackjack, but the latter changes focus onto what was blocking him from crossing. The third caster uses his Arts one more time and it hits Blackjack. The damage moved him a bit closer to the beast, who swung its giant arm to sweep Blackjack off the bridge. The soldier almost fell, but his right hand clinged onto the ledge of the bridge as his left one held onto the shotgun. The melee weapon however falls into the deep water below him. Blackjack jumped to his left a couple times and then pulled himself up. He pushes the shotgun onto the bridge before he himself gets up. He then grabs the firearm again, readies his aim, and fires his shot at the caster from behind. The back of the coat of the Infected was dyed the color of blood as the unholy scream of the rebel was heard by the beast who turned around to see Blackjack.
As the soldier reloads his shotgun shell by shell, meanwhile a squad of Reunion soldiers with jetpacks and machetes jump from behind some buildings and land in front of the beast. However, after the sound of the shotgun getting pumped, they were quickly demolished. The last one was met by a very brutal fate; Blackjack rushes forward, grabs one of the machetes which were plunged into the air, and with a powerful force shatters the mask of the Infected. Blackjack then pushes the dead body off with his left foot. The soldier then rushes forward to the beast and jumps right onto the left arm. The beast's right arm is too small so it couldn't reach Blackjack. Then, the Ursus soldier jumps up and slices the forehead. The beast is paralyzed. Then, Blackjack activates a grenade and throws it right into the wound. The grenade explodes and the beast screams in severe pain. To finish off the beast, Blackjack then moves forward, jumps onto the knees, and stabs the beast into the heart of the chest. The beast has been slain. It beckoned yet another unholy scream and then immediately fell silent as it fell to its demise within the deep below. Blackjack sheds the bloody machete, puts it in the same place as his sword once did, and also puts away his firearms. First, he will run away. But second, he will seek the defeat of Reunion.
