It was a peaceful Saturday morning in the City. Everything was rahter quiet and relaxing. No traffic building up, car honks were not heard, in general, it was a weekend rest day for both students and workers. There were no trouble for rush hours and passengers forestalling to get a ride on the first bus to arrive.

Everything was the definition of 'perfect' for Hinata.

But the scene in front of her isn't really part of it.

"So Hinata, how are you?" a woman, not just any other woman, but a pink-haired woman with pair of emerald colored eyes, short hair with a red headband that added accent to her bubble gun pink hair that stood out from everyone else. She was wearing a red blouse that matched the shade of her hair accessory, a white doctor's coat hung behind her on the seat, the name tag still in view.

Uchiha Sakura.

Yes, the person in front of the blunette is the legendary Uchiha Sakura. Former known as Haruno Sakura, only apprentice of the top-ranked doctor in the country, Senju Tsunade, who is now retired and enjoys her remaining time in gambling and doing her hobbies.

Sakura is now married to the award-winning actor who caught everyone's eye with his looks and traits, also a singer that published several albums which also received awards globally, gaining recognition from popular stars as well. The pink-haired doctor is married to the one and only Uchiha Sasuke.

If you're wondering how she got into this situation, well... It started minutes, no, hours earlier...

~Few hours ago~

Hinata woke up rather beat and exhausted, maybe from all the job interviews she took yesterday.

Her hair was a literal mess, her bangs no longer straight and silky, but rather, it was misplaced and curly. Hinata's eyes were squinting as she scratched her hair, looking at nothing in particular. The blunette realized of how messy she looks, considering how she felt when her palm came in contact with her frizzy hair. She sighed, shaking her head slowly in disappointment at herself.

The blunette decided to start the day and headed to the bathroom, taking her hair brush along the way. The first thing she did is face the mirror and see her disgusting self.

"Good morning, ugly," Hinata greeted herself and brushed her hair because of how it irritated her so much, all those misplaced bangs and curly strands of hair. After brushing her hair and irritation finally leaving her system, she took another brush. But this time, for the teeth and placed a lot of toothpaste on it to freshen herself up. She washed her face to awaken her sleepy eyes.

Minutes later, a scent of delicious breakfast invaded her nostrils, awakening her stomach that responded with a growl.

"Yeah, I know. I'm gonna eat..." the blunette responded to her stomach's complain, making her way downstairs to the kitchen as the smell of the food cooking became stronger, making Hinata's mouth water. She finally arrived at the kitchen where she saw a feast (at least for her) was arranged at the table. Ten Ten was wearing an apron and was still not finish with her cooking.

"What's the occasion? Why is there a feast in front of me?" Hinata asked. Ten Ten just chuckled ay the sight of a hungry Hyuga who couldn't remove her sight from the food in front of her.

"There's no occasion. Besides, that's not really considered as a feast, just a simple breakfast," Ten Ten answered, bringing the last wave of cooked food to the table, removing the apron tied around her waist along the way. "You can go ahead and eat first."

"If you say so," Hinata took a plate and sat down, "Itadakimasu!" she chanted before digging in.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Slow down girl! The food won't run away from you," the brunette joined shortly saying her 'itadakimasu' prayer as well.

They ate in silence, only the sound of the trees rustling ouside can be heard. The melodies of the birds were also included, as well as the sound of utensils they're using.

"Are you still going to job interviews today Hinata?" Ten Ten finally broke the silence that was slowly turning to an awkward one.

"No. But I'll be going out, maybe eat outside or something," Hinata answered, looking at the view outside from the window. "What about you Ten Ten?"

"I'll be going somewhere as well. I'll lock the house."

"Alright," they continued to eat, slowly finishing their breakfast and gradually getting ready for their day.

--

"Ten Ten, I'll be leaving now!" Hinata shouted from downstairs right in front of the door, wearing her converse sneakers paired with a pair of her usual jeans and polo blouse that was a little baggy as how Hinata likes it, tucked in her jeans that showed her belt.

"Alright!" Ten Ten aswered with a little muffled voice from her room.

Hinata finally exited the house and walked to the City proper, thinking of getting coffee and buying stuff she needs.

Along the way, she saw many different faces and regular ones that she sees everyday on the streets. Some surprisingly recognized her and nodded as indication of their greeting. Hinata returned the gesture and nodded as well, sometimes waving to elders and children who smiled at her.

Arriving at the City proper, more people filled the streets. Convenient stores are scattered here and there, even fast food retaurants and maybe a little boutiques along the way.

However, those wasn't what she was looking for. She was looking for a particualr coffee shop that she loved.

Konoha Coffee Shop to be precise.

She squinted in the distance while trying to spot a certain coffee shop.

Ah! There it is!

Hinata finally found it and made her way towards the store with a smile on her face, looking at the familiar glass wall of the shop.

Just when the blunette was about to enter, someone called her.

"Hinata... Right?" Hinata turned to the voice who called her, seeing an old high school alumni.

"Sa-Sakura... Sakura-chan?"

~o~o~o~o~o~

Honestly, It's not really that much of a surprise to Hinata when she realized that Sakura's last name has changed to 'Uchiha' since the two were already dating since high school. What surprised her is how long they kept their relationship from high school to their adult ages now, also adding the fact that they are very busy with their careers.

But that's just how it works. If you truly love the person, you'll wait and give him your everything, even if the exchange of vows that you're dreaming will be longer from now on, you'll continue to love him.

Ughh... How I wish I have a partner as well... Hinata thought to herself.

"I'm good, Sakura-chan," Hinata answered her question. Both of them decided to talk and catch up to some stuff while drinking coffee at the shop. The blunette also just knew that Konoha Coffee Shop was also Sakura's favorite coffee place.

"I see. It's been a while since we saw each other right?" the pinkette continued the conversation.

"Yeah. The last time I saw you, you're still a little fangirl of the man who is now your husband. Not to metion, a top-ranked actor and singer as well."

"Hinata! Past is past! Besides, I'm still quite the fangirl..." Sakura blushed and stirred her coffee with a teaspoon. Hinata giggled at the pinkette, thinking that she didn't change throughout the years.

"Hmmm...?" Hinata teased which earned a glare from Sakura. The blunette only chuckled. "So, how's life going?"

"Nothing much. Still busy dealing with the hospital and paparazzis."

"Nothing unsual considering how popular your husband is."

"Yeah. I also have to deal with jelousy from fangirls who makes themselves too close to Sasuke-kun."

"Wait, you still call him with the 'kun'?"

"Yeah, it's become a habit. What about you Hinata? How's life going?"

"Miserable."

"Don't say that! I know that you left the Hyuga compound but I'm sure you're handling yourself just fine."

"Not really," Hinata placed her fingers on her chin and played with the teaspoon. Sakura understood her situation, so she kep quiet and listened to her story while sipping her latté. "I'm having a hard time finding a job nowadays. Me being a Hyuga always blocks the potential of me being hired."

"You need a job huh? What course did you graduate again?"

"Commerce."

"Skills?"

"I dunno. Organizing? Time management... Those are the only ones I know."

"Hmm..." Sakura nodded in acknowledgement at Hinata's skills. "I might know a job perfect for you."

"Really?!" Hinata's mood suddenly brightened.

"Yeah. Although there are risks. You might deal with paparazzis."

"Paparazzis? I don't want to be an actor or anything."

"No, you're not going to be an actor, but an assistant for one."

"What's the catch?"

"Well, the pay is good of course. Specially with your organizing skills, I think that'll be a piece of cake for you."

"Ok, I guess I'm in."

"Cool. The actor will beー" Sakura was cut off by a phone call from the hospital. She excused herself and answered the phone. Hinata can see her face turned from calm to worried, nodding from time to time.

Sakura came back with a worried face, "I'm so sorry Hinata, there's an emergency in the hospital. I need to go quickly," the pinkette picked up her bag and coat, taking out a pen to write something on the notepad on the table, while also leaving money for her part. "Here, contact this email," Sakura handed Hinata a pice of paper with an email address written on it. "I'm so sorry Hinata. I would really love to chat with you more but the hospital needs me. I'll be going now! Bye!" Sakura bowed deeply, and left, leaving Hinata alone with a piece of paper.

Doctor instincts. She thought.

She looked at the piece of paper, caressing it. Hinata decided to finish her coffee and pay for it, going to the mall to buy groceries and needs for herself.

"I'll contact the email later," she exited the shop and walked to the mall that was close from the coffee shop.
