Jedi Temple, a few days later
Anakin wakes up with a start and looks around his quarters. He realizes that these are his old quarters at the Jedi Temple. He gets out of bed and nearly trips over a droid part on the floor because he isn't looking where he's going, then curses in Huttese, and realizes that the droid part is Ahsoka's. As a Jedi, after Ahsoka left, he didn't have time to clean up her mess of droid parts, lying scattered across the floor in their apartment. He looks closer. The droid part is for Ahsoka's astromech droid, R7-A7. He looks at his left hand and realizes that it is human, and that he looks like he did at the end of the Clone Wars. He gets dressed in one of the black tunics he wore a lot at the end of the Clone Wars.
Obi-Wan's force ghost appears and says, "Luke is in the garden of Ten thousand fountains, waiting for Leia to arrive for her Jedi training lesson. I think he is going to try to teach her to mediate better. Beware, Leia will not be in a good mood today after she finds out about you. May the force be with you, Anakin. I'm proud of you." The force ghost of his former Master, Obi-Wan Kenobi disappears. He walk out the door and over to the garden of Ten thousand fountains. Anakin remembers Leia. A brave princess, who was so much like Padme. In his attempt to get rid of any traces of Padme, he had nearly killed his daughter.
Anakin opens the door and says, "Hello, Luke." Luke is jolted out of his mediations and looks over towards Anakin, who looks like he did at the end of the Clone Wars.
Luke says, "Who are you?"
Anakin says, "You don't recognize me, do you Luke?" Luke searches the Force and comes up with a name. Anakin Skywalker.
Luke says, "You were dead. I burned your armor on Endor. How did this happen? And more, how did you end up looking like you did in the Clone Wars? I saw the pictures of you in the old holonews articles."
Anakin says ,"The Jedi Council has discovered a portal to send dead force sensitive beings back to life. They used it to send me back." Leia walks in from another entrance.
Leia says, "Luke, I'm here!" The two men look over at Leia. As Anakin looks at Leia, he finally sees the resemblance between her and his late wife Padme. He wonders why he didn't see it before.
Leia says, "Who is this guy next to you?"
Luke replies, "Well, Leia, he's our biological father. Anakin Skywalker. Happy Fete. I think he is our early Fete gift, from the Force." Leia has an upset look on her face and gasps, "Noooooo! Luke!" she seethes, and uses the Force to snap a hologram of Anakin with the hidden camera, hidden in her hairpins.
Leia thinks, I don't think I can kill him, but I need to keep my friends safe. And even if I could kill him, I shouldn't. First, it's not the Jedi Way. Second, if I remove this life form from the galaxy, Luke will be mad. He may stop training me, or he may get revenge on me and my friends by turning our offices into a wreck, like the last time Rouge Squadron did that, not that long ago. Third, I need all the intel I can get on imperial forces. Let's hope I get the intel, or else…
Leia pulls out her comlink and says urgently to Pooja Naberrie (Naboo's New Republic Senator and her friend from the Imperial Senate), "This is Leia. Don't come to the Jedi Temple today. Pass the message on. I don't want you to become a hostage. Postpone your visit until you get the code from me and Luke." She hangs up.
Anakin, in an failed attempt to reassure his daughter, says, "I'm not going to hurt you or your friends. You can calm down."
Leia replies, with a frown on her face and barely controlled anger in her brown eyes, "Yah, right. I still don't trust you."
She calls Han and says, "Han, there has been a bit of a… ah, situation at the Jedi Temple."
Han says, "What is it? Is there a bounty hunter I need to kill for you? A crime syndicate you need some help dealing with?"
Leia says, "If Luke's wrong, this situation could be much worse. Like galaxy-wrecking worse. If he is right and we have a extremely high level defector, this would be great."
Han says, "How high?"
Leia says, "Higher then you think. He was thought dead but the Force sent him back. You wouldn't be able to deal with him. Last time you tried, it didn't work."
Han says, "Who is it? Some karking sleemo of a Moff?"
Leia says, "Higher up and even worse."
Han says, "Why is he defecting? Do you want me to help restore peace to the New Republic?" That was code to kill the defector if someone believed him to be a Imperial spy.
Leia says, "Family. He tried to chase his son down for years, before he knew he had two kids. Thought dead soon after he found out he had twins. You shouldn't bother trying to kill him, we need the intelligence and we need to keep my brother happy. No more wrecked offices, you know."
Han looks at Leia, with a understanding look, then says, "This sound very familiar. Way too familiar. If it is who I think it is, then this is not good. Is this Case CB?"
Leia uses the Force to read his mind, then says, "You are so absolutely right on who you think it is. Yes, it's case CB. Don't come to the Jedi Temple, alright, honey. As a Jedi, I'm likely better trained to deal with hostage situations like this could become if this goes wrong. Bye. " Leia hangs up.
She dials her boss, Mon Mothma and says, "Mon, as it turned out, I might be late to work today. I'm so sorry."
Mon questions, "Why?"
Leia quickly explains, "There has been a situation at the Jedi Temple. Pass on the message to Senators, to not come, so they don't become hostages. Don't lower the order until you get the code from me and Luke. As a Jedi, I have a chance of keeping the situation from becoming a bigger problem, but people who are not force sensitive will not be able to handle it. My boyfriend tried. That resulted in the mission to Tatooine. The mission that got rid of Jabba the Hutt."
Mon asks with fear in her voice, "Is Vad-, I mean Anakin currently trying to kill you?"
Leia replies in a calm voice, given the situation, "No. He claims to be defecting. I really don't like the situation. Don't send backup because they could be taken as hostages. Also, you know, he became a Jedi again on the second Death Star, after seeing Luke being killed. I'm really not happy about dealing with Vader, I mean Anakin, you know. To be honest, after what happened on so many missions, from Scarif to Bespin and more, I don't feel emotionally up to handle the debriefing unless I absolutely have to."
Mon says, with a smile on her face, "Leia, are you on a secure line? I have something important to tell you. Don't worry, it's a great surprise. You have my permission to spend as long as you think necessary to handle the situation. I now understand why you need to be at the Temple."
Leia says, "Um, no, the line is definitely not secure. Thanks for permission on that. It should help fix some of the karking mess, this whole situation is in." Leia starts singing an old Alderaanian lullaby slowly and waits for Mon to blink at the right letter. She knows it's a crude code, but she needs the info. The message says A-L-D-E-R-A-A-N S-U-R-V-I-V-E-S.
Leia says, "Did you get your data from source 32?" She knows how to ask about if it is a Recon-X-Wing that got the data, with out leaking what she is asking about to Anakin or Luke.
Mon replies with happiness in her voice and blue eyes and a smile on her face, "Yes. And, by the way, General Rieekan says to tell you congratulations on being the next Old Queen and the warrior princess who fulfilled the prophecy. All of your people that I have asked have agreed with Rieekan. The world is in surprisingly good shape, considering what happened to it. And I believe the main palace is in good shape. Oh and by the way, the 2nd Fleet is my Fete gift to you."
Leia says, "Are you seriously kidding about the message contents? Thanks so much for the gift."
Mon says seriously, "I'm not kidding. I think you should take a trip there, go celebrate Fete and drop off some diplomatic aid with your Senate friends. Oh, and by the way, take at least one other Jedi. I'm giving you the gift early because you should take it on the mission." Mon hangs up.
Luke says, "So, Leia, what's the surprise?"
Leia crosses her arms and says, "Neither of you need to know. It's classified, so don't even think of code breaking."
Anakin says, "What is the mention of you being the next Old Queen and the prophecy?"
Leia snapped, "As for the Old Queen mention, it is a traditional title, given to the princesses or crown princesses who save Alderaan from the Sith, or in the case of the first Old Queen, uniting the two warring factions of Alderaan and creating the first Alderaanian world government. There were four of them, Amelia, (the first),Maria, Victoria and, last, but definitely not least, Eagala. Now, it was covered in Imperial and Republic History of the Core Founders Class, so you should have learned it. As far as I know, it was required. As for the prophecy, just ignore it. It doesn't matter anymore. It hasn't mattered since the day the Old Republic fell. The day the Empire rose. And before you start speculating, I am NOT the Prophecy's Chosen One! I couldn't even save very many of my people, so these whole Old Queen and Warrior Princess ideas don't matter. Not anymore…" Anakin notices that when she says the last part, he could see how weakly her anger was contained, as she was definitely not happy about his return.
Anakin replies, "I was a slave until I was nine, so I skipped the normal Republic History classes, so I could catch up in my Jedi training. I think history is pretty boring. Leia, congratulations on getting the 2nd Fleet. I understand that you want to ignore the prophecy, but I want to learn more about it. I was the Jedi's Chosen One and that was… stressful." He grabs a datapad lying around and tries to pick it up.
Leia uses the Force to call the datapad to her hand and says, "It shouldn't matter anymore to you two! Why do you care?" Her face is looking more and more irritated.
Anakin says, "Leia, I'm just curious."
Leia rolls her eyes and raises her voice, saying, "Yah, right. You're not my dad! Why did you come back? You didn't have to come back after wrecking my life and many other people's lives!"
Luke says, "I got my education from an alternative education center, being so far out in the Outer Rim. They skipped that class as well."
Leia thinks, Oh, great. Why did my Friday morning have to end up like this!? I was planning my first vacation in forever and I think it will be canceled because of him and paperwork I will have to fill out. Leia's comlink beeps. She opens it and reads a message. Dear, Leia. Here is the footage from Source 32. She sees the attachment attached.
Leia admonishes, "Luke, I'm just going to go to one of the old High Council member's rooms to take a call for a bit. Please don't get into any mischief. I really don't want a repeat of the time Rouge Squadron turned my office and Mon's office into a disaster zone for weeks. Bad things will happen, if I see that certain areas are disaster zones." Leia walks off and walks into the quarters of Jedi Master Shaak Ti and pulls out her comlink and opens the footage.
She watches the images from the sensors as the X-Wing makes a loop around Alderaan. Bail had told her that there was sometimes truth in legends. She remembered the legend Bail Organa taught her about the hidden Jedi artifacts hidden on Alderaan. She remembered Bail's cryptic line to her, "Interdum vero fabulae." What could it mean, she wondered? But at times the fable? What did that mean? Leia knew it was in Old Alderaanian, but she didn't know its meaning.
She closed her brown eyes and begin to meditate. She reached out in the force towards Alderaan. She felt beacons of light. She felt like she was at peace. She saw a vision of her walking off an Imperial shuttle painted with New Republic colors and hugging Bail Organa(her real dad). She then saw two twins that introduced themselves as Princess Kate and Princess Kayla. They both told her that they were orphaned when the Death Star killed their parents. She senses their Force sensitivity and realizes that they are her sisters. She senses a force signature that somehow feels familiar, but she can't place it.
She then sees herself walking into a catacombs and asks herself, "Where am I?" She then sees the Chapel in Aldera. Oh, so I must be there, she realizes. She sees a old vault and sees the lock. It has a bunch of symbols in Old Alderaanian script. She gently reaches out in the Force and senses a blazing beacon of light. So these must be the Jedi Artifact from the Prophecy of the Warrior Princess.
She faintly hears Bail's voice in a memory, "Leia, sometimes there is truth in old legends. The one of the ancient Jedi artifacts from the days of Victoria… It's true, my child."
Leia sinks deeper into the Force. She hears the voices of Jedi of old. Some of these Jedi are from thousands of years ago.
A male Jedi says, "Leia."
"Leia, you are the Jedi Queen," Cay Qel-Droma says.
A female Jedi says, "Leia."
"Believe in yourself, Leia," says Satele Shan.
"Trust yourself.",says another female Jedi.
Ulic Qel-Droma (an ancient Sith Lord and Jedi from the Great Sith War)says, "Your Highness, you did save Alderaan. You saved many of its people. And somehow, Alderaan survives. The Jewel and Soul of the Core lives. Our home world lives. And our culture does as well."
A Togruta Jedi says, "Leia."
Meetra Surik, the Jedi Exile says, "Leia."
Nomi Sunrider says, "Leia, refusing to admit that you are the Chosen One of the ancient Warrior Princess prophecy of Alderaan, isn't going to make it go away."
"Believe in yourself. Trust yourself," says Bastila Shan. Bastila Shan was one of the greatest users of battle meditation of her time. She knows that Leia seems to have a hidden gift for it. Leia doesn't know about her gift though. Someday, when Leia is ready(or when the galaxy really needs it to survive), Bastila will teach her the ancient technique. A Jedi, and briefly a Sith Apprentice, Bastila will have to teach Leia to accept her father.
"Trust in the Force, you should," says Yoda. His blue glowing force ghost's stick hits Leia.
Leia says, "Are you Yoda?"
Yoda says, "Yoda I am. Make peace with your father, you should. Jedi he is. Not going to hurt you, he is."
Meanwhile, Anakin and Luke are talking to each other.
Anakin says, "What bad things did Leia just threaten us with?"
Luke says, "Rouge Squadron "stacked" Leia's and Mon Mothma's offices for fun. Leia, as Mon Mothma's second in command, wasn't happy at all. She punished us. Don't get her anymore upset then you already have. Leia dragged us all into her office, while it looked like a disaster zone and said that she figured out who did it. She wasn't in a good mood for a while."
Anakin says, "Do you know about this prophecy she mentioned? She must care to some extent because of her trying to keep me from searching it."
Luke says, "Nope. Let's search the Net and see."
Luke walks back to his room and grabs a datapad. He types in Alderaanian Prophecies info in one tab and presses search. He walks back to the Garden of ten thousand fountains and shows Anakin the tab about Alderaanian Prophecies. The first one that pops up is the prophecy of the Warrior Princess. He read, 'A Princess who is strong in the Force will, one day be born. She will be Alderaan's light and last hope in its darkest hour. She will be a warrior, strong in the light, who could very will be the greatest of all the Jedi. She will be the only one able to open the Jedi Vault on Alderaan and locate the artifacts that have been missing for generations. She will be a great diplomat and queen. She will be the Jedi Queen of the ancient Jedi Legend.'
Anakin says, "Um, that totally fits Leia."
Luke says, "She may just not want to admit it."

This is the prophecy of the Warrior Princess
A Princess who is strong in the Force will, one day be born. She will be Alderaan's light and last hope in its darkest hour. She will be a warrior, strong in the light, who could very will be the greatest of all the Jedi. She will be the only one able to open the Jedi Vault on Alderaan and locate the artifacts that have been missing for generations. She will be a great diplomat and queen.
Jedi Queen Prophecy
If the Chosen One fails to completely destroy the dark side, the Jedi Queen will finish the job. A Princess who is strong in the Force will be born. She will be a Savior, a great diplomat. Under her beloved rule, her homeworld will flourish.
The line of Leia's (I am NOT the Prophecy!) was taken from a Disney musical. Guess which one it is? It may have been associated with a cut song.
