It had been six weeks since the twins had hatched. And Hortense was going back to work. So Donald and Della were going to start daycare.
Hortense made sure the two were ready for Quackmore. Who'd be the one to drop them off. Since he would have the car and Hortense would take the city bus.
As she was packing up their stuff she heard him helping the two with their breakfast.
At eight-thirty Quackmore got the two into the small car. "I'll see you tonight," he said, waving to Her.
She waved in response as Quackmore drove out of the garage.
The daycare sat right at the corner of the block. It was blue with a brown roof. The yard was fenced in with a tall dark brown fence.
Quackmore put the two into a stroller hanging the diaper bags on it. The bird at the desk was typing away at something.
"Hello" he greeted her cheerfully.
he looked up at him smiling. "Good morning" he said "I don't recognize you, what's your name?" He asked, looking at a list with names.
"What's your name?" He asked.
"Duck, Quackmore Duck,"
"Yep here you are" he said "So they must be Donald and Della? Well they'll be all the way down the hall on the left."
"Thank you," Quackmore said.
The room was fairly large with two windows on one side of the room. He bent down to them.
"I'll see you two later," he said. In response Della patted the side of his head. He laughed giving them both a kiss on the forehead.
~ That Night ~
"Oh my babies" Hortenes said as Quackmore came in with them. She quickly took Donald from him. "I missed you"
"I'm sure they missed you too," he told her.
