At school Marinette and her friends were putting the finishing touches on the small party they were going to throw for Trunks. "Alright the banner looks amazing!"

"Thanks, Marinette," Alex said, "So what does everyone think he is going to be like?"

Everyone stopped what they were doing at that moment, Ayla stood up. "I tried to look him online and got nothing on him."

"I heard that his family is extremely secretive." Rose said.

This got everyone talking about different theories, "Wait a minute!" Max yelled, "Lila knew him, they dated remember?"

"That's right." Mylène stated, "Lila what can you tell us about Trunks?"

Everyone turned to Lila, she smiled, "Well he is super intelligent, and he is secretive. He never told me much about him."

Marinette was skeptical of Lila, when she noticed the time, "Oh it is so late, we all should be heading home. See you all tomorrow." Marinette started to run towards her house, "I am going to be so late, Tikki."

"Don't worry Marinette, just tell your parents the truth that you were busy with the party.' Tikki reassured her.

She nodded as she entered her house, "Mom, Dad I'm-" She stopped midsentence as she saw someone, she didn't know sitting on her couch reading.

He looked up from his book, "You must be Marinette, right?"

Marinette just stood there a little scared and confused, 'Who is this, why does he know my name?'

Trunks saw her confusion on her face, "Pardon me, I should introduce myself. My name is Trunks Briefs, I will be staying with you for a while." He bowed slightly to her.

"O-Oh uh, hi. I'm Marinette."

Trunks smiled at her, "Your parents are out currently something about them needing more flour." Marinette sat down on the couch next to Trunks, he noticed the gaming console by the TV. "We could play a few rounds."

She nodded as she started up the console, the two played video games for a while. "You're really good at this, Trunks."

He laughed, "Thanks, you too."

Sabine and Tom entered the house and smiled when they saw Trunks and Marinette playing video games. Sabine started on making dinner, "So Marinette, I hope you can show me around tomorrow." Trunks suggested.

"Yeah, that would be fun." She said.

The family sat down and had dinner, once dinner was over Trunks and Marinette helped clean up, Marinette took Trunks up to the balcony that was attached to her room. "I hope you enjoy it here, Trunks."

"I do too, Marinette. To be honest, my mom wanted me to come here I did not really have a choice." Trunks admitted. "She wanted me to work on my social skills."

Marinette looked out across the city, "I hope that I can help you." The two were quiet for a few more minutes until Marinette spoke up once again. "Trunks?"

"Yeah?'

"You don't happen to know someone named 'Lila Rossi' do you?"

He looked at her confused, "No, I don't. Why do you ask?"

"There is this girl in my class, that claims you dated her. She lies about everything, but no one believes me when I tell them." She confided in Trunks.

"I believe you. Don't worry about this Lila person, I can handle her and her lies." Trunks told her, "I don't care if people don't like me."

Marinette smiled, "Thank you. We should head back inside; we have school in the morning." They headed back inside, and both went to their rooms. Trunks got his phone out and texted his mom, 'Hey Mom, can you do me a favor? Can you look up and tell me everything you can a Lila Rossi?'

He put his phone down and went to sleep. Trunks woke up early and saw Bulma sent him some articles on Lila and her mother. Reading through them he smirked, he got ready for school then he went to the kitchen. "Good morning." He told Marinette and Sabine.

"Good morning, Trunks. Are you ready for your first day?" Sabine asked as Trunks sat down next to Marinette.

"As ready as I will ever be."

Sabine gave them breakfast, once they were done Trunks and Marinette left. "Want a ride?" Trunks asked.

"What do you mean?" Marinette asked.

Trunks didn't say anything but got a capsule out and threw it at the street when the smoke cleared a motorcycle appeared, Trunks held out a helmet Marinette. She took it, and put it on, then she got behind Trunks on the bike. "Hold on tightly." He started the motorcycle and sped off down the road. They arrived about ten minutes later, Marinette noticed that everyone was staring at her as she and Trunks pulled up. She got off as Ayla came up to her.

"What's with the bike, Marinette?" She asked as Trunks got off the motorcycle and returned it to its capsule.

"Oh, Trunks gave me a ride." Marinette said as she pointed to Trunks.

Trunks smiled as he entered the school building to talk to Mr. Damocles. He sat in his office and listened as Mr. Damocles gave him the rules and expectations of the school. Once he was finished, Mr. Damocles showed him to Ms. Bustier 's classroom, "Ms. Bustier, this is Trunks."

Trunks walked in as Mr. Damocles left the room. "Trunks, please have a seat." He walked to the available seat next to a girl with long reddish-brown hair.

Lila smiled as she looked at Trunks, "Hi, Trunks."

Everyone, minus Ms. Bustier, looked at them. "Who are you?" He asked. The rest of the class was confused.

"Oh Trunks, you don't have to pretend you don't me." Lila said trying to cover her tracks.

"I'm not pretending, I have no idea who you are…Wait a minute, are you Lila? Marinette told me about you."

Lila looked around and saw her classmates looking confused at Trunks words. "I would appreciate it if you did not lie about knowing me. If I find out that you continue to lie about me, I will make your life hell."

Trunks looked over at Marinette and smiled at her, then Ms. Bustier started her lesson as the students began to whisper about Lila and Trunks.
