atsumu and Osamu fought and that was normal for them. normally after 5 minutes atsumu would just give in and apologize but he has been in the bathroom for 15 minutes and Osamu was getting annoyed. if this was their house he wouldn't be nearly as annoyed but he was stuck in a cabin with a germophobe and an overprotective coach/mother and needed someone else to go through this with especially when suna didn't give a fuck. luckily Kita was asleep, but he still had to deal with the germophobe
"oh my god," Osamu groaned "what is taking astu so long"
"I don't know he seemed super pissed" suna shrugged "just let him be he'll cool down eventually"
"1. he's was screaming for one whole minute then just went silent 2. he can't go 5 minutes after an argument with me " Osamu wasn't convinced he was slightly worried for his brother this isn't like him
"Just knock on the door" suna gave some simple advice and sighed "it's not that hard"
"I will," atsumu got up and knocked on the bathroom and when he didn't get a response he knocked again harder " 'tsumu I'm sorry for being a prick"
silence...
"atsumu what the fuck, are you giving me the silents treatment, look I'm sorry okay now stop being a baby and get out here" Osamu normally didn't get this mad about something petty like this but he still for some reason mad that his brother wasn't responding even after such a petty fight
more silence...
"OI ATSUMU, I SAID I'M SORRY NOW OPEN THE GODAMN DOOR" Osamu yelled
some more silence...
"Maybe he's still mad at you" suna suggested "I'm mean you seemed to have offended him"
"THAT DOESN'T GIVE HIM A REASON TO FLAT OUT IGNORE ME WHEN I APOLOGIZE" Osamu was pissed as fuck if his brother didn't open the door in the next five seconds he would break down the door and strangle him "atsumu I will bust down this door"
silence...
"bish" Osamu busted that door down with enough for to kill but what he saw wasn't his doing "a-astumu"
in front of him, Osamu saw his brother decapitated and an open window leading out of the bathroom

15 minutes earlier
Osamu and Atsumu were walking back to their cabin and Osamu was giving atsumu a side glare. it was making atsumu uncomfortable and eventually, he just couldn't he couldn't handle it anymore
"ugh, 'Samu what's that look for" atsumu whined
"what looks" Osamu looked away
"come on" atsumu gave Osamu a look of doubt "I'm not stupid"
"yes, you are" Osamu retorted "incredibly stupid"
"no, I'm not"
"yes, you are"
"no"
"yes"
"no"
"say what you want but you are stupid as fuck" Osamu responded, "I thought you would be the first to die in a murder movie"
"no, you" atsumu huffed
"hmm, since you're not dead" Osamu gave a smirk "Are you the murderer"
"what? no" atsumu pushed Osamu "I'm no psychopath"
"I don't know" Osamu was messing with atsumu for no reason just trying to make him mad "maybe you are"
"oi, what the fuck" atsumu was mad and Osamu nearly laughed, it was funny seeing him like this "why aren't you the murderer"
"cause I'm not"
"How is that a good reaso-" atsumu stopped when Kita came up from behind and grabbed his hair
"no fighting" Kita split the two up and atsumu looked pretty mad about it, which made Osamu laugh
"bish, stop laughing" atsumu growled this only made Osamu laugh harder
"bwahahahaha-awk" Kita punched Osamu in the guts to get him to stop laughing
"like I said both of you stop" Kita dragged both of the twins back to the cabin and took a nap
for some reason, Osamu felt like messing with his brother some more so when Kita went to bed he waited for when atsumu was going to sit on his sleeping bag and pulled it out causing him to slip
"WHAT THE FUCK OSAMU" atsumu was pissed and it didn't help when Osamu snickered. fed up with Osamu's bullshit today he stormed off into the bathroom slamming the door shut which somehow didn't wake Kita up
atsumu had been sitting in the bathroom for about 5 minutes and decided to go and talk to his brother about what happened when he heard the window open behind him
"what the..." atsumu turned around to see a figure that clearly wasn't his brother and started screaming "OH MY GOD OH MY FUCKING GOD!"
The figure had an ax in hand walking towards atsumu. atsumu desperately tried to open the door but in his panicked state and his screaming he couldn't open it before the figure got closer cutting off Atsumu's heading
"Finally, he stopped screaming," the figure said with a weirdly cheerfully tone "oh well just gotta get rid of the ax"
with that, the figure left a note on the mirror, climbed out of the window, and left

"what" suna looked over at Osamu, not seeing in the bathroom "is he taking a shit or something"
"n-no" Osamu backed away bumping into sakusa and fell on top of him
"ew, what the fuck get off me" sakusa pushed Osamu of and went to get hand sanitizer when he looked in the bathroom and saw atsumu. he fainted on the spot
" dang, What is so scary in the bathroom" suna got up to look quite annoyed until he looked in "oh my god, I'll uh go get Daichi"
Osamu dragged sakusa away from the view of the door, propped the door he knocked down to cover some of it, and waited for suna to come back with Daichi. while Osamu was waiting for suna to come back he took another look at the bathroom and he noticed on the mirror a note and went a bit closer to read it
"maybe next time don't lose your head over a fight like that"
Osamu didn't know why but he screamed maybe because that meant the killer was following them or because of how cruel it was to word it like that, maybe both but either way Osamu just wanted to leave this camp. it was entirely Osamu's fault too if he hadn't been such a prick atsumu would still be alive. Osamu started crying he couldn't hold it in anymore, he went over to Kita to wake him up, he knew this was something Kita needed to know
"Hey...Kita" Osamu shook Kita gently "wake up"
"What..." Kita stretched his arms out and looked at Osamu, noticing he was crying "are you okay"
"no, not really" Osamu whipped his tears aways
"what happened" Kita got up to comfort Osamu
"um in the bathroom" Osamu pointed at the bathroom not wanting to say what happened "be careful if you go look
"I uh okay" Kita walked over to the bathroom and moved the door to look inside and his jaw dropped "that's uh"
kita covered up the bathroom with the door again and went back over to Osamu and noticed suna wasn't here
"where is suna" Kita sat down beside Osamu
"he went to go get Daichi," Osamu told him "and sakusa just passed out seeing atsumu"
"I understand that his germophobia then he was also dating atsumu which probably made it worse" Kita looked at sakusa remorsefully
"I'm surprised you didn't wake up," Osamu laugh wearily "we were screaming a lot ever since you fell asleep"
"guess I'm just a hard sleeper" Kita responded and let silence fill the air until suna came back
"hey, I got Daichi," suna said when he opened the door
"hello what happened," Daichi asked
"well earlier I and atsumu were fighting and he got mad and locked himself in the bathroom, he started screaming and I and suna shrugged it off because he does that when he gets mad, but 15 minutes went by and he still wasn't out so I busted down the door and saw..." osamu start crying in Kita's shoulder
"it's okay" Kita gave Osamu a much-needed hug
"it's my fault he's dead," Osamu said "if I hadn't been such a prick today this never would've happened
"no, it's not" Kita comforted Osamu "there was no way we knew that would happen"
"um, I'm sorry to interrupt" Daichi cut in "was there any evidence we could use to find out who did this"
"uh yeah," Osamu pointed to the bathroom, and Daichi went over there and grabbed the note and handed it to Daichi "I saw this on the mirror"
"hmmm, I don't recognize this handwriting but we'll still go around seeing if anyone knows who's it might be" Daichi took the note, and decided it was best for him to leave "well I'll tell get suga and we'll help clean up later but I got to go for now"
"Thanks, Sawamura," Kita said on Daichi's way out
they went back to silence for about ten minutes when sakusa woke up and broke the silence
"what happened" sakusa mumbled as he sat up
"uh..." Kita was trying to find a way to say it but couldn't find the right words "atsumu...he uh"
"wait..." sakusa thought about it for a minute "no fuck no"
he picked up a bottle of bleach and some hydrogen peroxide he had in his corner, with tears in his eyes, and dumped the hydrogen peroxide in the bathroom(don't ask why he has that stuff, A.N. he just does, I wanted him to have them), and sat the bleach down before going back to his corner
"I'm not ready to deal with this shit" sakusa mumbled "why just why"
"we'll get through this together," Kita said, knowing he couldn't give sakusa a needed hug
"I'm calling Komori" sakusa pulled out his phone "hey, can you come over to our cabin...it's important...yeah I'm fine...also bring Akagi...oh this is something he should know...bye"
sakusa hung up the phone and waited for Komori and Akagi to come and the awkward silence filled the room again
"Hey what happened," Komori asked once he got in the door
"eh...atsu...he...uh...kinda..." sakusa tries saying before giving up "Kita, you tell him"
"um okay" Kita shifted around " you see atsumu is dead"
"no..." Akagi says from behind him "your lying"
"I'm not, you can look for your self" Kita tilts his head towards the bathroom "I wouldn't suggest it though"
"I'm just gonna trust you and not look," Akagi said and sat down beside Kita "*sigh* what are we gonna do"
"to be honest I don't know" Kita sighs "we'll just have to be there for each other"
"yeah" everyone agrees
"how's akaashi handling it," Osamu asks to change to topic from atsumu
"he's been sulking in the corner of the cabin" Komori answers "anytime we've tried to talk to him he's ignored us"
"wow," Osamu says surprised
"it's like he's shut down" Akagi adds "akaashi was the most level headed of us all and now it's like he is an entirely different person"
"it doesn't help that he doesn't have a way to talk to his team to help him through this," Kita says, looking at his team "unlike him, we have people to help us through this"
"Yeah, we're lucky that we've got each other" Osamu says quietly "cause I don't think any of us would be able to handle this on our own"
"Kita would be able to," suna says from his sleeping bag "he's the second most level headed here, and I would argue even more than akaashi before bokuto died"
"holy shit suna, you scared me," Akagi said, holding his chest "I forgot you were here"
"probably because I was being quiet" suna went back to his phone
"well I and Akagi should get going to make akaashi is okay" Komori got up, he had finished comforting sakusa and needed to make sure akaashi was still okay "let's go
"Okay," Akagi got up and followed Komori "bye guys I'll talk to you later"
"bye"
A.N. omg I'm finally done, this shouldn't have taken so long but some shit has happened and I needed to sort it out, and I spent time studying the haikyuu fandom and show and had to add some people I didn't know when I wrote the first chapter but I got that all taken care of.
I'm sorry to all those who love atsumu. it pained me to write this and that it was so soon after Bokuto's death but I promise it will be more spread out this story is supposed to take weeks before they find the culprit and that will be hard to spread out but this story will be at least fifty chapters long because of all the characters I have to murder and things I have planned in between
