After a short fight with the wind, they closed the door they breathed a sigh of relief.

Now that emotions have subsided, they looked around at what must once have been a room.

There was a table with a rusty sign saying "Reception", a couple of rusty old stools, a wooden staircase upstairs, and corridors to the left and right.

Hope you had nothing on the hovercraft that could not be replaced. Chase said, switching on the light.

No, Zuma replied

Chase walked over to the wall where the map board was a bit worn, but most of it was legible.

I think there's a security room on the second floor.

As they were about to start up the stairs, Chase stopped her

I'm going first. I'll check that they won't tear under us.

Chase got up, and zuma stayed downstairs.

Zuma looked around, it was dark even for her, and she felt something, that scream, that primal scream at the back of her head that tells her that something is out there, that she should run away.

Suddenly she heard a groan

She turned in the darkness in front of her, something moved suddenly Chase came out of her ... but at the same time not him

Hind legs dragged across the ground, uniform torn off, ears disappeared, leaving only a piece at the base of the skull, there was a large hole in the chest but did not seem to notice it, the eyes or lack thereof were two black holes, and the mouth was unnaturally wide open

Zuma was terrified, and although he had no eyes, he seemed to be looking directly at her.

Suddenly he howled as a gurgling, and he moved towards her faster than anything in his state had the right.

She opened her eyes and saw that it was not there, walked quickly to the top, where Chase stood alive and well.

When chase turned, Zuma looked down the stairs, she could have sworn something moved at the edge of her vision.

They entered the security room, it was a small room with a desk and computer and only an eye and a vent in the corner. Chase entered, and zuma nervously closed the door.

Chase looked at the desk and was surprised to see that it had power, turned it on, and realized that the surveillance system consisted of five cameras with motion sensors.

One was in the hall, two in corridors on the sides, and two on this floor.

What now? Zuma asked

Chase noticed Zuma staring nervously at the door

I do not know. He said, then looked into a desk drawer

He found an old museum item list there, apparently it was something military as he could see the names of the weapons etc.

But what he was most interested in was the old radio for communication, none of them were Rocky, but he could have done something, so maybe we could amplify the collar signal and summon Raider and the others.

Zumo, I'll look around. Well?

Chase didn't know what he meant, but nodded.

He left and headed for the only room other than the security room.

There were several wall frames and empty boxes in the room, and he went into each of them until he went to the next room, there in the box farthest from the door he found an old radio, the antenna was in good condition.

He turned to leave, but there was someone standing in the doorway. It was zuma, or what used to be.

The front left paw is missing, the stump is pouring black blood, the vest is damaged, the ears torn off halfway, as if bitten off, the left eye was missing and the other was completely white, the mouth was lidless, and the head itself was twisted unnaturally.

How did this happen?! He hasn't even heard her enter the room!

The creature lunged at him, swung the antenna, blinked, and something vanished.

He ran back, entering so abruptly that the zuma screamed in surprise

Then they tried to send the signal through the antenna for a few minutes, but nothing came of it.

Then Chase looked at the monitoring and noticed that the button on the first camera was flashing, that motion was detected

He changed to her and what they saw chilled their blood in their veins.
