A lone knight stood against his foe. His friends were fighting off the demon army as the Demon King smirks down at him.

"Foolish Knight! You have lost! Soon my army will rule over the humans. No one will be safe from my rule!"

"It's you who is a fool! My friends have been with me every step of the way! They may look human, but they have proved themselves as fellow knights!" The Knight shouted.

"We'll see about that!" The Demon King said, launching a fireball at the Knight.

He quickly swings his sword, reflecting the fireball at the Demon King. The fireball hits the demon's face, causing him to roar in surprise. The Knight quickly ready his sword and jumps towards the demon. The Demon recover from his attack but was too late to try anything. The Knight's sword glows, and he slashes the Demon King. The Demon King took a few steps back as a huge scar was left on his chest.

"You will pay for that!" He shouted, punching the ground, setting out a wave of fire.

Before it got close, a wave of water hits the fire, stopping it.

"Sir Dan!"

The Knight turns as saw his friends. They were a little winded, but mostly all alright.

"Thanks!" He shouted before looking at the Demon King.

"So much for your army." He said, readying his sword again.

"It's time to send you back to where came!" He said as his sword glows once more.

The whole blade started to glow and started to look bigger. The Knight swings his sword a few times, slashing the Demon King. The Demon King took a few steps back as his blood drips from his body.

"This isn't over. The Demons will rule over the humans one day! This war is far from over. You and your descendants will never be at peace! My army will hunt them down until the end of time!" He shouted before a ring appears around him.

The Knight watches as the Demon King was drag back to where he came and looks at his friends. He places the sword in its scabbard on his back and removes his helmet. He had black here and blue eyes. He drops his helmet and walks up to his friends.

100 years later...

Amityville, A small village that was mostly hidden from the world. Many things were said about the town from people that found it. A teenage boy with raven black hair and blue eyes looks up from his book to see his sister walking up to him.

"Still reading about being a knight?" She asked.

"Yes. Dashel can say what he wants. It's not just strength that is need a knight. It about honor and duty." He said.

"Daniel, I know we are descendants of the Phantom Knight but you're not strong enough to pick up a bronze sword." His sister said.

"I don't have to use one. Besides, I'm taking swords lessons." Daniel said.

Jasmine sighs and walks up to her brother. She knees and kisses his forehead.

"I just don't want to see you get hurt." She said.

"Jasmine, I'll be fine," Daniel said.

"Look at what we got here!"

Both siblings turn and saw Dashel Baxter walking up to them, wearing a suit of armor. He walks up to Jasmine and was about to kiss her hand.

"Back off." She said, pulling it away.

Dashel smiles and faces Daniel.

"So, want-a-be knight, still going over your lessons?" He asked.

"You heard what our teacher said. A true knight must keep their skills sharp and their swords sharper." Daniel said.

"I don't see why you are even training. You can only use a short sword!" Dashel laughs.

Daniel rolls his eyes and went back to his book. Dashel grabs it and looks it over.

"What the hell are you reading?" He asked.

"Purposes of a Knight. It's not just strength you need, Dashel." Daniel said.

"Please, you are no knight!" Dashel said.

"Neither are you!" Daniel said.

"What did you say!" Dashel shouted.

"You heard me!" Daniel shouted.

The two glares at each other before Jasmine push them back.

"You two know you can not fight here. You both need to pass your knight training, and the mayor already gave you a warning, Dashel." She said.

"Fine! See you after training, loser!" Dashel said, walking away.

"I hate that guy," Daniel said.

"Ditto," Jasmine said.

Daniel picks up his book and looks at his sister.

"Well, training is coming up, and I might be a bit late. Can you let mom and dad know?" He said.

"Will do, little brother," Jasmine said.

"Thanks, big sister," Daniel said before heading to knight training.

Knight's School...

Daniel puts on his training gear before he was shoved against the ground. He looks ups and saw Dashel standing over him.

"I heard that some knights are finally passing today. Too bad for you, Fenton!" He said.

Daniel rolls his eyes and stood up. He faces away from Dashel and grabs his sword. He places it on his back and walks away from Dashel.

"Hey!"

Daniel ignored him and soon found his teacher. Leslie Lancer was a former knight that had to retire after an attack that left his right leg broken. He was looking over the students and saw each of them was a bit excited today. They all were hoping to pass today's test and become knights. He looks over and saw Daniel. Lancer was a bit confused about why he wanted to be a knight but saw something in him that told him to let him join. He faces the students and clears his throat.

"Alright, Class, today some of you are going to pass to become full knights. However, since most of you are still recovering from the last test."

He looks over at Dashel at the end of that sentence.

"Today's test will have a be a pop quiz." He said.

Many students groans, but Lancer spoke up.

"Don't worry. It going to be different this time," He said.

He pulls up a board and wrote one question.

What does it take to be a knight?

"I would like you all to write your responses and hand them to me. If your answer sounds reasonable enough, you will pass," he said.

Everyone soon grabs a paper and some ink. Many were already writing their answers, but Daniel was still thinking. He then wrote his answer. It was a few minutes later, that Lancer walks up and looks at the class.

"Alright, I got your answers and I have decided who will become a full-time knight." He said and started to name the ones that did pass.

"Too bad for you, Fenton. My answer is the best there is." Dashel said.

"Don't get ahead of yourself, Dashel," Daniel said.

"And finally, Daniel Fenton passes the test," Lancer said.

"WHAT?!" Dashel shouted.

"Mr. Fenton, your answer is something that reminds me of a war long ago. To protect everyone and everything. No matter the reason, a Knight must stand for true justice. Something that the Phantom Knight said himself." Lancer said.

"Really? I didn't know that." Daniel said.

"Hold on teach! Fenton couldn't have passed!" Dashel shouted.

"Mr. Baxter, enough. You might be the top fighter, but you clearly lack the means of being a knight. Not to mention, this is the third year you have been held back. You know what that means." Lancer said, holding out his hand.

Dashel groans and gave him his sword.

"Everything." He said.

Dashel took off his training gear and hands them over. Lancer then looks at the class.

"For those that didn't pass, your answers sound reasonable but lack the meaning. However, I do hope to see how you will go from here. Now, Class dismissed!" He said.

Later...

Daniel was surprised when his father ran and hugs him when he got back home. Jack Fenton was a big man, the biggest in the whole village. He squeezes his son tightly, happy for him.

"We heard the news boyo! You're now a knight!" He said.

"Dad...can't...breath...!" Daniel gasps.

Jack let go of his son and smile sheepishly.

"Sorry." He said before his wife hugs him.

Madeline Fenton, known as Maddie to her friends, was the complete opposite of her husband. She was one of the most beautiful women in the town and many guys try to get her to leave Jack. But she loves him very much. Not to mention, she had two children with him.

"I can't believe my baby boy is a knight." She said.

"Mom..." Daniel sighs.

"Are you sure you don't want a better sword?" Jack asked.

"I'm fine with this one," Daniel said, looking at the short sword he had.

Now that he was a full knight, he was allowed to carry his sword with him. However, that also meant something else.

"How about a feast for your new knighthood?!" Jack asked.

"Sounds good to me," Daniel said.

"Come on, Maddie! Let's whip up a feast!" Jack laughs.

"Remember what we agree on!" Maddie said, chasing after him.

"Congrats, little brother," Jasmine said, hugging him.

"Thanks." He said, hugging her back.

"So, I guess this means?" She asked.

"Yeah, but after the feast. I will tell them then." Daniel said.

The Feast when on great. Jack ends up inviting the whole town to it, making lots of food. Some of Daniel's classmates join as well. When the feast was over, Daniel was ready to tell his parents what he wanted to do. It wasn't long until they reach their house before Daniel stops.

"Son? What's wrong?" Jack asked.

"Mom, Dad? Can I tell you something?" He said.

"Sure, Daniel. What is it?" Maddie asked.

"Well, now that I'm a knight I was wondering. Can I leave the village?" He asked.

"Leave? Why?" Jack asked.

"It's not that I hate this town, I want to see the world. Since I'm a knight, I like to know what's out there." He said.

"Daniel..." Maddie started to say.

"Please! I know how to fight and not to take on something I can't fight. I'm not going to send myself to my death." Daniel said.

Jack and Maddie smile before hugging their son.

"We knew we couldn't keep you here," Jack asked.

"What do you mean?" Daniel asked.

Jack couldn't say. But he hugs his son, trying not to cry.

"Dad?" Daniel asked.

"You can leave in the morning. Just stay with us for one more day?" He said.

Though he was confused, Daniel agreed.

Morning rose, and Daniel slips on his new boots. He was wearing a white tunic, brown pants, and two belts. One for his pants and the other for his scabbard. He places his sword in it and walks out of his room. He saw his family and the Mayor and walks up to them.

"So, you're leaving?" The Mayor asked.

"Yeah, I feel as I needed to do this," Daniel said.

"Son, are you sure?" Jack asked again.

"Dad..." Daniel sighs.

"Dad, you know when Daniel makes up his mind, it hard to convince him otherwise," Jasmine said before hugging her brother.

"I'm going to miss you." She said.

"I'll be fine." He said, hugging her back.

Maddie walks up and hugs him as well.

"Stay safe." She said.

"I will," Daniel said.

Jack sighs and hugs him, softly this time.

"Come back to visit once in a while." He said.

"I Fenton Prosmie," Daniel said.

After that, the Mayor leads Daniel to the edge of the village. Before he could leave though.

"Daniel! Wait!"

He turns and saw his two friends, Samantha and Tucker.

"You're really leaving?" Tucker asked.

"Yeah. I'm a knight now." Daniel said.

"Does it has something to do with that birthmark?" Samantha asked.

Daniel looks at his right hand, eyeing the p shape mark on it. No one knew why it took the shape of the letter P, but Daniel had a strong feeling it was something else.

"That's part of it. There are dangers outside of our village, and hiding away isn't going to stop them." He said.

"But..." Samantha started.

"Guys, I'll be fine. Unlike Dashel, I pick my fights." He said.

"Okay, where is the real Daniel Fenton?" Tucker asked.

"Guys, stop worrying. This is something I need to do." He said.

Both of his friends sighs and hugs him. He hugs them back and smiles.

"Watch over the village for me, will you?" He asked.

They nodded, and Daniel started to walk out of his village and down the road. Unknowing starting an adventure of a lifetime.

Okay, I got as much as I could. Sorry if the reason for Danny leaving isn't a good one. Now, why am I going by Danny's full named? Well, it does take place in Medevil times. I'll start using the name Danny again after he meets up with Mia in the next chapter. I will also be bringing in some fights as well. I started with a little back story because I want to make it feel there was a reason for all seven of my characters to meet up. I went with a demon as my main enemy. Some of the enemies will be demons, but Danny and his friends will fight people too. If you are wondering about Vlad, he's going to be in as well, but I don't have a role for him yet.

Next, Danny meets Mia and learns that he's not the only one with that mark.
