For Director Piggot of the Parahuman Response Team East North East, this has been a nightmare after another, first an unknown tinker decided that setting off an experimental portal device in Brockton Bay was a good idea, then he killed himself after saying what he did was a success, after that Armsmaster realized that the portal device had self destructed via thermite grenades thus destroying everything.
Headaches after headaches and nightmares after nightmares, now if the info she got is correct they found themselves in 2020 but in an alternate United States, no PRT or Protectorate Backup, just themselves and the hundred thousand strong force of National Guardsmen and Policemen keeping them contained, who has orders to shoot to kill anyone trying to breach out.
Apparently this isn't the first time either, in 2004 a county and a town appeared in Oregon, their names Roadkill County, Gravity Falls, which has become the weirdness capital of the United States, thus the presence of Federal and State forces are upgraded in the county, now home to Fort Gravity Falls which is a joint State and Federal Military Base over the UFO, in which after making sure it's secure is now open to the public.
Thus now she found herself incharge of the only PRT Forces of the entire Americas, Armsmaster is the head of the only Protectorate Heroes in the entire United States and Brockton bay is literally the Supervillain Capital of the world, hence the sudden increase of forces, especially Air Force Jets flying over, and Navy ships and Coast Guard Cutters parked off the coast with their guns trained on the city.
The closest thing to the PRT is the Bureau of Metahuman and Paranormal Security and Defense or the BMPSD, reportedly they deployed Forces immediately once they heard the words Hero and Villains, which some of the PRT Officers and Velocity reported overheard the saying the need for anti-metahuman weapons, which in other words they are bringing anti Parahuman weapons for possible combat, which means more headaches for her.
"Any other news?" Piggot sighed as she rubbed her forehead to forestall the impending headache.
"Well, I heard that they also called in the Canadians for PHANTOM Backup, when I asked about it they explained that it stands for Paranormal Hunting, Assault/Naval Tactical Operations Mandate." A PRT Officer at the very back piped up
"Ok so they have a version of the guild." Piggot tiredly sighs when she hears that.
"Ah no… the thing is, PHANTOM is part of the Canadian Military." That PRT Officer added realizing his mistake.
At that every Hero both Ward and Protectorate, the Independents and Rogues which included New Wave, and Piggot all turn to stare at that Officer when they processed what he just said and how much firepower would that mean is coming to Brockton Bay.
"Well… if that's the military… What is the civilian version then?" Kid Win nervously asked, only for the PRT Officer to shrug.
"Don't know, didn't think to ask." The PRT Officer replied.
Which caused a number of increasingly loud arguments as several people panicked about the fact the Military is now on it's way and they have Parahumans.

For the first time in history ever since the War of 1812, the Canadian Military is entering the contiguous United States, the motorists, travellers and commuters from both the Canadian and US side watched as a massive convoy of Military APCs, Trucks and Jeeps cross the US-Canadian Border, with the Vermont State Police escorting them.
On the more open top vehicles, everyone can see the heavily armed soldiers with rifles, machine guns and full body armor, all looking battle ready, then flying as escorts are Lynx and MH-90 Taipan Helicopters full of soldiers in them, and Lonewolf AH.1 Attack Helicopters, all of them looking battle ready with their weapons fully loaded.
Local news, Fox news, CNN News, ABC News, CBS News, MSNBC News, and NBC News are covering the massive force of Canadian Military entering CONUS and it's being broadcast all over the United States, especially the new city of Brockton Bay.

So after the crazy light show this morning, we are apparently now in January 1st, 2020, and no this is not time travel, if most news broadcast from the outside world is correct, we are now in a different United States and Earth all together.
What we know so fat.
• At midnight, on New Years Eve, this version of the United States detected anomaly and immediately mobilized everyone, neighboring Canada included, but cause a domino effect of the entire Commonwealth of Nations, (Which in this world is a big EU and NATO style alliance) to mobilize.
• This morning when the dome as I called it collapsed BBPD and PRT lost contact with the outside world, which was reported when the Dome came up but that was because of the dome!
• Then we are starting to get News reports from the outside world and learned that we are not on our Earth nor United States, and even worse if that News Report is right, everyone looks like the National Guard and Police Officers all look like they are ready to kill.
• Now we heard that the Canadians are crossing the border because they are invited by the US Government and let me tell you, I've never seen the Canadian Forces looking like that before, even worse! They look like they are ready to invade a foreign planet all together!

I am authorized to say that:
1. Yes what Bagrat said is right, we are not on Earth Bet anymore, and no we do not know which Earth this is.
2, The Cordon is for both our protection and their protection, apparently this Earth has the problem with terrorism far worse than Earth Bet does.
3. Yes we knew the Canadians were coming, mostly because we asked the troops guarding the Cordon.

That's because the tinker that made the device that created the Dome committed suicide while crying out it worked.
The device self-destructed with timed Thermite Charges thus we can't recreate the event.

I can say, in all seriousness, I think the firepower of the State and probably Federal Forces should be a sign, I can identify M1 Abrams Main Battle Tanks and M2 Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicles…
I don't think anyone told them that some Capes are protected from conventional ammunition.

Actually they called in their version of the PRT called the Bureau of Metahuman and Paranormal Security and Defense which if I remember correctly the Canadian Military Forces heading towards us are called PHANTOM, which I don't remember the acronym for.

Tattletale closed her laptop and stared, that's all she could do, stare, given the info her powers were giving, most of them are scary, so scary in fact she wondered if pointing them to Coil would work, now she had to think of a plan to get the Undersiders out of Brockton Bay, if the coverage is right, there's going to be a massive military operations and she's not going to get involved with that mess of a battle.
Now, time to wonder if cell phones still work on this Earth, and if it does, how to get out of Brockton Bay without getting shot by the military…

Undercover Cow – Yeah, about that 'conventional' ammunition… let me put it this way, we don't actually need it. My brother (adopted) is part of the RAF PHANTOMs, and Commandos, he's fully capable of tearing the turret of a number of non-Commonwealth tanks through brute strength. He's also capable of a few other tricks, including self-powered flight.
Just as an FYI, the SPECTRE Patrol is Supernatural/Paranormal Encounter, Containment, Tactics, Reconnaissance and Enforcement Patrol; we're the police for things that go bump in the night and for empowered idiots. We can, and have, dealt with things that make 'parahumans' look tame. PHANTOM is the military branch, they're usually dealing with major line threats, and we deal with law enforcement issues.
As for little old me, I've actually told something akin to a high- or ultimate-class devil to go bugger itself, before blowing it up.
If you want any ideas what we get up to… there's a 'tame' (cadet) version here (Curse-of-the-Commonwealth-Cadets YouTube), yes both my little brother and little sister are involved in some of the incidents.
