Chapter 1

"""WWHHAAATTT!!""" Erebus, Zald, Alfia

Erebus couldn't believe it. The 'Night Bringer,' the 'Nightmare,' a menace to society if you ever get him angry or to the 'limit,' himself is going to be a.… father.

Zald is surprised as well. He may not Aeron well enough but he at least knows the deeds he's done in the familia and his past life. Maybe if Zeus found Aeron first then maybe he and him could be best friends instead of rivals. Unfortunately for him his rival is winning. Besides he's more younger than him as well meaning that he's at least in his prime unlike him.

Alfia on the other hand… is infuriated. She is absolutely angry at Aeron. Along with other feelings. 'I'm supposed to be his first and his.…' she trailed off as she was looking away from him.

Hela was giggling. Then it bursted into a laughter. She was the first to know about Aeron child. Like the other three in front of her she was shocked that he was going to be a father. On the other hand though,

'She is the only one to make Aeron happy though.'

She glances at him and smiles. He's nervous. He wasn't nervous because of the reactions. No. He doesn't give one damn about it. He's nervous because of a whole other reason.

Erebus was the first to get out of his state and looked at Aeron serious. "Your not lying I know that for sure but.… since when did you ever… find someone?" It was a question all of them wanted to know.

All of them knew about Aeron past. It's very hard to make someone like him.… happy or even make another emotion for gods sakes. He isn't a sociable person either. So who in the hell did it?

Alfia already had someone in mind

"I'm not so sure myself Erebus. All I know is that.… I love her deeply with all my heart." He says with a calm voice instead of his usual stoic or rude voice. Everyone looks at him wide eyed with their jaws hanging. He isn't done.

"I love her with all my heart Erebus. I don't deserve her I really don't. (chuckles) I even told her that but she instantly shut that down when she finally confessed to me." He smiles ear to ear, remembering a sweet moment that happened between him and his beloved wife before they fell in love.

8 years ago before the meeting

Aeron was walking the trails of the snow kingdom walls. He finished training with his magic and sword skills. He spent his later afternoon all the way to midnight on training. He and the familia were going to have an expedition coming up. There plan was to reach deeper into the blizzard forest. Similar to the dungeon from Orario the deeper you go, the stronger the monsters.

Unlike Oranous, Hela doesn't need to sit on a chair and focus all her arcanum on one spot.

For some unknown reason the forest is surrounded by a strong wind covered with snow. A person without falna would struggle there way in. People with falna would walk in with ease and no problem.

He walked his way to the castle as he descended all the way down from the walls. It was snowing like always but this time there was a bit more…

Ferocity in it

It was weird. It wasn't like this until the vampire king invaded the kingdom a few years ago. Luckily Aeron, the strongest warrior in the snow kingdom was there to take him down. It wasn't easy though. He would've lost an arm or an eye if it weren't for his skill [Shadow Step] there to help him in the whole fight. An ability to quickly move out of the way or move faster. Although he did gain a scar from the fight. A large scar that starts from his left jaw all the way to his right arm.

A scar that would haunt her for many years to come.

As he was walking in the castle he noticed that some people were awake. 'Probably trying to get stronger' he guessed. They all want to be as strong as Aeron. Unknown to him, everyone in the familia view him as the strongest person in the whole world even if they knew about Hera and Zeus familia. Whenever they would be on expeditions, some would get in a life and death situation. Situations they know they can't get out of.

Aeron being the captain of the familia and not wanting to see his comrades die, would always save them. Gaining respect and support from his familia and the entire kingdom.

Although there was a time where every male hated Aeron for being the only one to stand by Hela side. Hela who saw this thought of an idea to see if there will be anyone to be a vice captain since there wasn't one at the time.

She made all of them fight Aeron. 1 vs around 100-130 male familia members of the time being. It was a massacre. Aeron was a level 4. A high one at that. He fought all the familia members without putting much effort into it. Even familia members who were level 4 couldn't beat him.

There was a dark elf, pitch black hair, black eyes, whore a black cloak, two twin blade swords strapped on each hips hidden from everyone. This elf was none other than Riko. He didn't have a last name from what he recalled but at least he knew his first name.

Riko along with the female members were the only ones who didn't fought Aeron with the rest of the familia. Hela was confused on to why he didn't join them so she asked him personally after the whole fight had finished,

"Why didn't you join with the rest of them?" To her surprise,

"He is way out of my league Lady Hela" he answered with his usual cold soothing voice. She knew that an elf's pride is extremely high. Doesn't matter if the opponent is an elf or not, they would never let their ego down. However Riko is different, he grew up from poverty, abandoned by his family, struggling to survive. His didn't have a pride, a passion, nothing. Only focusing on to survival.

Hela found him in a dark alleyway, fighting against a vampire that escaped the blizzard from the vampire king incident. He was all bloodied up, from head to toe, scars all over his body. He was about to pass out and fall to the ground until a figure catched him. All he saw was a black mask and white hair.

When Riko woke up he was in a bed, he looked around and saw that it wasn't the streets. The walls were clean, grey walls, clean non broken windows, and a door not broken. He thought this was all a dream until

"Your awake" He slowly turned his head to the voice and saw a beautiful women sitting on a chair with her black hair being combed by a familia member. Riko knew this was a goddess. Why? Because she is the only goddess in the snow kingdom besides, the familia member who was combing her hair had their familia emblem on her arm.

"That would be enough" she said. The women nodded and before she left

"Shall I get captain in here to protect you?" She asked

"No. I can take care of myself. Thank you for your concern though" the female nodded, she saw Riko who was laying in bed looking at her, a quick glare towards him signaling him to not even try to harm Hela. She then left the two of them alone in the room. Riko felt a bit weird. As he was about to ask why she had brought him here

"Would you like to be in my familia?" She offered him an opportunity of a lifetime for many people in the snow kingdom who will tremble in joy to the offer. Riko however wasn't really that excited. He was just more confused rather than excitement.

"Why?" He genuine question. She looked towards him and smiled. For the first time in Riko life he saw something beautiful. A light that Loki and Thor would call disgusting, her smile.

"Because I hate seeing people suffering" from that moment on he found the passion he was looking for in his entire life. He served for Hela and would never turn his back against her. Never.

Hela also knew that Riko from that time has changed so she selected him to be the vice captain for Hela familia.

Riko has happy to be the vice captain. He didn't mind to work with Aeron since he was the one who caught him in that moment. Aeron and Riko would sometimes spar with each other. They were close friends from that day toward.

Before Riko knew who Aeron was and had a connection like that, he knew Aeron was the real deal. The real reason to why Hela familia is the most fearful familia. Aeron, the 'Night Bringer,' 'Nightmare' himself was the reason. The reason why he never wants to anger him or to fight him to that limit.

On with the story...

Aeron entered his room letting a heavy sigh leave from his mouth. He was tired and a bit cold. He went towards the small firebox with a magic stone in his hand and turned it on. Making fire pop out, warming the room up. He took his armor off and set his weapons down on the desk. He took a quick shower and dressed up in his sleeping wear.

He went to bed and slept for a good hour until he herd a knock on his door. He herd it again and growled. He checked the time and saw it was around 2AM. He went towards to the door and didn't expect her to be there.

A women from the familia that Hera agreed to take her in. Only because of her the favor she owed to her and because and from some unknown reason… the snow kingdom was the only place she could live normally. The sickness wasn't as strong as out of the Snow Kingdom. The healers don't know why but for some apparent reason Meteria, the twin sister of Alfia, is able to live a bit tad normally inside the Snow kingdom. She, Meteria, is in front of Aeron door.

She was wearing a nightgown with white and blue stripes on them. She had her hands behind her back afraid of the request she was going to ask him. Since it is a silly one but for her... she needed it for that nightmare to go away.

"Aeron is it ok if I… sleep with you tonight?" She asked nervously. She was afraid that she'll be left alone. Alone in that dream but

"Sure." He said. Meteria blinked a few times before she slowly and tippy toed her way into Aeron's room and bed. She sat down on his bed and felt how soft his bed was. His room smells just like him. She didn't mind at all. She actually… likes it.

He laid down on his bed and slept at one side and Meteria slept at the other side. A minute passed and she still wasn't asleep. She looked back to see Aeron that appears to sleeping. She moved a back till their backs were touching each other and tried to fall asleep but no avail. She twisted and turned and nothing. She then turned around and… put her head on the back of his neck and hugged him from the back. She felt… comfortable.

"You know you could've asked for a hug to sleep Meteria" Meteria blushed and was about to run away until Aeron turned around and hugged her back.

"EEEHH!" She yelped. Her face was a whole tomato. She tries to pleading to him that she's fine but no avail. So she just rested there… enjoying his warm hug. She finally felt comfortable. She didn't felt… lonely.

Back to the present

"Well that's how we started to like each other" Aeron summed it up. How he and Meteria fell in love with each other.

Silence was filled in the room. Nobody dared to talk during his explanation on how he became a father and how he fell in love with her. Meteria.

Hela was tad shocked at this. She knew Meteria had a strong connection with Aeron but she didn't knew it was one of love. 'Miracles do happen.' She thought smiling at her captain.

Zald then walked up to him and put both his hands on his shoulder and asked him the question. "Is if a boy or girl?" He asked with all seriousness. Everyone looked at him again.

"It's a boy" he said. Zald then punched him in the gut and congratulated him on for having a baby boy. Alfia who was silent the entire time had no choice but to act happy.

"Yes. Congratulations Aeron." She did claps to make it more realistic to her acting which worked somehow.

Erebus smiled at Aeron who finally found happiness. 'He's really changing' he thought. Having the same mindset as Hela.

"(chuckles) Well, I guess this meeting is pointless then huh?" Erebus asked himself out loud. He chuckles again and stands up from his chair, he bows down to Hela and says

"This may be our last time meeting each other Hela, I bid you and your familia good luck in the upcoming future." He turns to Aeron and bows down to him as well. "I hope that you and Meteria have a wonderful life together with your son. Thank you for everything." He concluded.

As he was about to leave with Zald and Alfia

"Won't you like to stay at the snow kingdom for a week?" Hela asked. She didn't ask for Erebus and Zald… it was for Alfia. She knew Alfia had feelings for Aeron, sadly she didn't confess in time due to dealing with her own sickness and with the familia. She was busy.

Erebus was confused and about to answer but

"Sure, I'm starving anyways so (yawns) let's go get something to eat." Zald said. He leaves the house already waiting for them outside.

"(sighs) I guess we can go. It is going to get dark soon. Thank you for the offer Hela" Hela nodded and said no problem. All of them left the house heading towards the snow kingdom.

Unknown to everyone besides Hela, Alfia was looking at Aeron's back the entire time with gloomy eyes.

She's happy for him and happy that she gets to go to the snow kingdom. She needed to talk with her sister after all and ask her how to deal with these emotions that have build up in her.

Meteria was looking outside the window sitting on a chair, her white hair being combed by a familia member that has permission to go into her room. She was smiling at the view holding a hand to her belly.

'Soon you'll see a beautiful life view like this with me and your father' she smiled ear to ear. The familia member couldn't help but smile as well. Happy that captain has gotten someone to help him with his frustrations and anger. Someone to be his light.

Well I really don't know what to say for this chapter. Sorry if it was boring and not what you guys wanted. Chapter 3 is on the works right now. Same goes with the other chapters for my other stories.
