I forgot to mention, I'm dyslexic and have a hard time explaining things in depth.
the place im writing this is also dreadful so capitals will be all over the place, I apologize. nonetheless, I hope I story is enjoyable.
The next day proved to be stressful; Aesop could barely get any sleep the night prior. nonetheless, he got himself ready in the morning.
warning his usual black jeans and light turtleneck, walking out of his room towards the small kitchen. he grabbed himself a coffee, placing it into the Keurig.
'any questions?' Norton asked, leaning beside him against the counter.
Aesop thought for a moment, 'well, if you're ok with this... are you and Mr. Subedar dating?'
Norton smiled, 'why, you interested?' he teased, laughing after. 'yes. Eli likes to play matchmaker, and for once it worked... we've been dating for two years now.'
that sparked a thought into the young man's mind, could I... ever have someone love me like that? he quickly disregarded the thought, grabbed his finished coffee, and headed out the door; class wasn't going to find itself.
the building for the classes was grand; it almost looked like an actual manor!
each classroom door had numbers, along with their activities, plastered on it, Aesop quickly being able to find his other classes. the first one still a mystery.
sighing, Aesop looked at the last art classroom, debating whether or not to ask for help. the thought of having to interrupt a class just because he wasn't able to find his class...
'oh! so sorry!' a man bumped into Aesop as he exited the classroom. even more embarrassing for Aesop. 'are you in this class?'
'I, um... I don't know...' Aesop explained his situation as quickly and short as he could.
'hmm, I see... well, Mrs. Mary would be your safest bet; she organizes the classes for all arts. however, she is currently on leave for this week... I will gladly tell Mrs. Michiko here about your situation.' the man smiled, oddly comforting to Aesop.
Aesop looked away, unable to answer. 'I don't want to cause trouble for anyone...'
the man placed a hand on Aesop's shoulder, 'it's no trouble at all, don't worry! all I need is your name,'
'... Aesop Carl.'
'nice to meet you, Aesop Carl, I'm Joseph Desaulnier.'
Mrs. Michiko's class was calm and quiet, just how Aesop liked. no one tried to talk to him, either. that was until the end of class.
'Carl, could you stay after class? it's going to be quick, dont worry.'
Aesop nodded, watching as Joseph waved goodbye and headed out with a taller man.
once everyone left, Mrs. Michiko began.
'I read over your student file,' she smiled gently, 'you have autism and anxiety, yes?'
there it is. I'm going to be treated different, or...
'I'm sorry, i can leave the class if it's trouble...' Aesop mumbled, unable to make eye contact.
Mrs. Michiko looked surprised at his answer. 'trouble? not at all! I just wanted to clarify so I could make learning better for you.'
Aesop was shocked, to say the least. he thanked her and left, heading back to his dorm.
'so~' Eli sat beside him on the couch, 'make any friends?'
Naib rolled his eyes, placing his feet on the coffee table. 'that guy physically can't make friends, Eli.'
while what he said sounded harsh, Aesop could tell he meant no harm; he was simply stating the truth about what he observed. 'no, not yet... I'm fine with that.' Aesop smiled slightly. there was some lies to what he said, he thought of Naib and Norton as friends as well, but didn't know how to say it.
Eli snapped his fingers, quickly grabbing his phone from the table as he pushed away Naib's feet. 'that reminds me, I have to introduce you to Gertrude!'
Aesop raised an eyebrow, 'you know women?' in all the years of knowing Eli, he had thought Eli was too timid to talk to anyone but men.
'sure I do!' Eli sighed, typing away on his phone. 'she's okay with my witchy shenanigans, too!'
'who is she?'
'Eli's crush,' Norton smiled as he sat beside Naib, wrapping an arm around his lover. 'hes currently inviting her over for dinner again.'
Eli glanced at Norton for a quick second, 'I think she and Aesop would get along well.'
Aesop sighed as he leaned against the armrest, this place is going to be filled with emotion...
