The Warp Star zips across the sky with the 5 Heroes in tow. "What is a Code Red, anyway?" Mythra inquires. "Oh yeah, your world only recently converged, didn't it?" Pit responds. Mythra scoffs. "I still don't quite like this whole… world merging thing. Freaks me out," she sighs. "Unfortunately, we lack the knowledge and capability to reverse such a thing," Byleth chimes in. "Apparently, ever since Master Core- the heart of the being that crafted the multiverse- went berserk for unknown reasons, the multiverse's convergence into a singular super-universe has expedited. Ordinarily, Heroes would visit other worlds through Gates, but Tabuu and the Subspace Army destroyed them, kickstarting the convergence as a whole. Those two incidents were the first and only Code Reds- until now." Mythra's face flashes with shock. "So you're telling me, whatever has come here is on the same level as that?" Pit and Cloud nod solemnly.
"Poyo…." Kirby says.
The Warp Star descends upon a rocky cliff facing an ocean, colored orange with the sunset's glow. There were easily over 60 others there as well, all beholding the same strange yet terrifying sight- an army of Master Hands surrounding a being that looked like a biblically accurate angel. "Whoa…" Pit was in awe of the sight. Truly, it was beautiful- and yet sinister all the same. "I've never seen this many Master Hands before… this is bad."
One of the Heroes, Fox, stands at the cliff's edge and brandishes his blaster toward the armada. "Don't let a single one get away!" he urges. "We'll each need to take down about 10," another Hero, Marth, adds. "Stow your fear, it's now or never!" Zelda exclaims. Pit readies Palutena's bow. "We'll win this. I know we will!"
But even as they uttered such words of encouragement, none of them felt great about their odds. Suddenly, the gloves of the Master Hands dissolved, revealing a strange blue light beneath the fabric. At once, the lights were all absorbed by the Being of Light, catching every Hero off guard.
Another Hero, Shulk, has a Vision appear before him. It was devastation- allies were consumed by a blinding light, their attempts to protect themselves from the attack all proving fruitless. It would be a total wipe-out. Once the Vision ends, Shulk turns to his comrades, about to utter words of warning- but he was too late. Before Shulk could get out much more than a grunt, the Being takes in the Master Hand's lights, forming what appears to be a small black hole. Before anyone can comprehend what just happened, the hole explodes into an array of numerous beams of light that spread out in all directions.
One by one, Heroes are consumed by the light and then gone. Only one is able to escape however- Kirby. Quickly, he climbs back onto his Warp Star flies away as fast as he can. When it seems like the light was about to catch up with the Warp Star, it vanished, warping to safety. The Being's light consumes the entire super-universe. In its wake, the floating spirits of those overcome by the light drift aimlessly, seeking a new vessel.
"The Scouring was a success," Dracula informs a mysterious figure. "The Heroic vessels are ready, and the souls of the multiverse are ours to command. There is no one to stop us." The mysterious figure chuckles. "Good. Galeem has done well. Soon, even the multiverse will know despair," Sephiroth replies. "Go now. Clone the vessels as we discussed. We will form the ultimate armada." Dracula nods before walking out of the dark room.
In another room that looks like a lab, the body of Mario is on display on a floating stand, restrained by an electrified wire of some kind. Above him, an odd golden liquid pours on top of him, seeping through the stand and forming into a lifeless husk in Mario's image. From afar, the spirit of a Smoky Progg hovers toward the husk, entering its new vessel. The fake Mario stands up and opens its eyes, revealing a sinister red.
There's a dark, desolate rocky area under a cloudy, gloomy sky. The Warp Star pops into existence, Kirby in tow, but it has a crash landing on the terrain, sending him rolling forward. Shaking off the dust, Kirby stands up, seeing an incredible sight in the distance- the World of Light.
