AN: Welcome back to the second part of Not So Happy Campers. I hope you all enjoy this episode and the first elimination.
Chapter Two: Not So Happy Campers Part Two
"So… who wants to go first?" Chris clapped his hands together as he looked at the gathered campers.
"Oh oh me! I want to!" Izzy volunteered happily but Tyler was already running to the cliff's edge.
"I got this dudes!" Tyler boasted as he went to dive off and on his way down he hit a couple rocks and then ultimately landed on one of the buoys and groaned in pain as he slid off and into the encircled area of the water.
"Wow, he's eager," Chris commented as Tyler resurfaced and the shark fins circled around the outside of the area Tyler was in, "I was going to say before he went ahead and jumped was that you want to aim for the circle. If you miss, there are men eating sharks out there waiting for you."
DJ gulped in fear at this as Trent pat his back in reassurance, "Don't worry dude. I heard they have interns test this stuff for safety before the show."
The scene then cuts away to show Chris and Chef alone on the cliff at an earlier time and Chef is in a swimming suit. Chef was also looking very annoyed.
"Why do I gotta do this? Don't you have yo interns to test this?" Chef asked and Chris shrugged.
"They're all in the emergency room right now and the campers get here in the next couple days. So I need you to just test this by jumping and aiming for the target. Or are you too chicken?" Chris taunted and Chef scowled at this as Chris began to make chicken sounds
"I don't get paid enough for this." Chef grumbled as he had a running start and jumped off the cliff but landed just outside the zone. As Chef resurfaced he looked back up at where Chris was.
"Hey it's safe!" Chef called out before he suddenly shivered, "What just brushed past my leg? Chris!"
Chef started swimming away as a shark chased him and Chris just viewed from the top of the cliff and gave two thumbs up.
"Looks safe to me!" Chris yelled out to Chef as he prepared to make his way back down the cliff, not through the jumping method though.
Back in the present, Chris just shook his head as the campers were getting more worried about the challenge presented to them.
"Also, after this challenge, you will need to drag some crates back to your cabins and you have to make something with what is inside." Chris announced and everyone glanced around at each other.
"Well if jock boy did it, so can I." Eva then yelled as she ran at the edge of the cliff and jumped, just barely missing the marked area and the sharks started circling around her. Eva then growled and the sharks all swam away, whimpering in fear.
"That's two of the Killer Bass so far, so we'll keep it simple and the rest of the Bass go first." Chris said and the Bass groaned as the Gophers cheered slightly.
"I mean, it can't be too bad can it?" Bridgette gave a nervous laugh and Courtney stared at her.
"I swear if you jinx this just like DJ did." Courtney said with narrowed eyes and Bridgette laughed nervously as she then took off the cliff with a dive and landed perfectly in the center of the circle.
"Doesn't this seem kinda insane for a first challenge?!" Cody asked in fear with a slightly raised voice and Duncan rolled his eyes.
"Come on, unless you want us to lose." Duncan then went to the cliff's edge and jumped off with no fanfare, even giving the middle finger to the camera on his way down as he landed in the circle.
"Uh… are you sure this is safe?" Katie asked nervously and Chris shrugged, not giving her much hope for the situation. Dawn then put a hand on her shoulder.
"Would you feel better if I went with you?" Dawn asked quietly and Katie gave a quick nod and grabbed Dawn's hand and they ran off the cliff together, with Katie screaming as Dawn fell serenely, both landing in the safe circle.
Confessional:
"Dang, some of them have some guts." Trent spoke to the camera, seemingly impressed by the other team's courage.
End Confessional:
"Come on dudes, let's go!" Geoff grabbed Harold's hand and pulled him with as he jumped off the cliff, Harold screaming in fear as he fell, not of his own volition. Everyone winced as they saw Harold land with a split on the water as Geoff fell outside the safe zone. As Geoff surfaced, he looked around in a worry.
"Uh… don't eat me shark dudes. I don't taste as good as a pizza." Geoff nervously laughed as he saw the sharks approach him and then he swam as fast as he could to the boat waiting nearby. As he got on the boat, a shark tried to bite him, but Eva yanked him onto the boat before he could be hurt.
"Thanks dudette." Geoff thanked Eva as Harold also got on the boat, still in pain from how he landed on the water.
"I just don't want my team to be crippled and not win today." Eva scoffed and Geoff shrugged.
Confessional:
"I don't care about anyone on this team. They're just here to help me get the money." Eva scowled at the camera with an evil eye.
Confessional 2:
"I think Eva likes us." Geoff smiled in stark contrast to how Eva has just behaved in her confessional.
End Confessional:
"So uh… who wants to go next?" Cody asked nervously and DJ shook his head.
"Sorry, I just… I can't. I'm afraid of heights." DJ shuddered and Chris pat him on the back.
"It's ok dude. Just means," Chris gave a smirk as he pulled out a chicken hat and put it on DJ's head, "that you're a chicken, bawk!"
DJ hung his head in shame as he began to walk back down the cliff and Cody gulped nervously as he looked at the other team and then at Courtney, the only other team member there and she walked up to Chris.
"I highly doubt that nine of them will jump, let alone ten even if I jump. So I'll take the chicken hat." Courtney deduced and Cody winced slightly at the implication that he wouldn't be jumping and the other team all glared at Courtney as she began her trek after DJ.
"You're the last Bass Cody. So, chicken or jump?" Chris asked and Cody looked between Chris and the cliff and nodded to himself and started running at the cliff as he screamed in terror and he jumped.
Confessional:
"Damn, didn't think scrawny boy had it in him." Leshawna looked impressed with a smile on her face.
Confessional 2:
"I… I couldn't be a chicken. I need to win, so I can't get out first." Cody explained his rationale as he shivered slightly.
End Confessional:
"Then that is nine Bass who jumped. Gophers if you can beat that, I'll give you some carts to help with the crates." Chris said to entice them and the team perked up at this.
"Woo hoo!" Izzy cackled madly as she ran at the cliff and jumped off and didn't scream as she landed directly on a shark. Izzy then yelled crazily as she wrestled with the shark and forced it to take her to land. Everyone was in shock at this event.
"Well you don't see that everyday." Chris said, surprised at what had just happened.
Confessional:
"That girl is crazy!" Leshawna exclaimed with wide eyes
Confessional 2:
"That was fun! Can I go again?!" Izzy said with a smile plastered on her face.
End Confessional:
"So we just jump, eh?" Ezekiel asked as he tilted his head in confusion and Chris nodded and Ezekiel gulped as he looked at the cliff and then ran at it and jumped off, barely avoiding the rocks of the cliff and he landed outside of the safe zone.
"Dude! Watch out for the sharks!" Geoff called out from the beach and Ezekiel looked behind him and saw two sharks approach him hungrily and Ezekiel screamed in fear as he swam away, with the sharks on his tail.
"Next!" Chris called out without care and Noah shrugged.
"Let's get this over with." Noah walked off the cliff, uncaring of the whole situation, and he landed in the safe zone and Trent pumped his fist in excitement.
"Guys, we've got this." Trent cheered as he ran and dived off the cliff and landed near to Noah. Seeing this, Justin shrugged in silence and jumped as well with little fanfare. Justin landed right outside the safe area and the sharks swam up to him.
"Justin! Swim away!" His team called out from above and Justin looked behind and saw the sharks were now chasing him as Ezekiel had gotten onto the boat. Justin gave a twinkling smile at the sharks and they stopped in their tracks, lovestruck by the model.
"Oh come on!" Noah yelled in exasperation as he got onto the boat alongside Trent, who just watched in visible confusion but also gave a thumbs up to his teammate.
"As if," Heather scoffed and crossed her arms. "I'm not jumping. I am so not getting my hair wet on television. Besides, did you see our teammates? Two got chased by sharks. I'm too valuable to be eaten."
Leshawna's eye twitched at this as Lindsay nodded and stood by Heather's side. Gwen just sighed and backed up from the three of them.
"Guys we don't need to fight." Owen tried to step in but Heather rolled her eyes.
"Ok you big tub of lard." Heather insulted and Leshawna growled as she snapped at this.
"Oh you're jumping or I'm making you." Leshawna warned and Heather didn't seem to take this seriously.
"Oh and the ghetto-glamor, too-tight-pants wearing, rapstar wannabe bitch can make me?" Heather challenged and Leshawna seemed to get more angry at this.
"Says the one who is just a mall-shopping, ponytail-wearing, teen-girl reading, peaking in high school prom queen!" Leshawna fired back and Heather rolled her eyes.
"Well at least I'm popular." Heather shot back and the other team members winced back at this as Leshawna finally snapped fully by picking up Heather and carrying her over to the edge of the cliff.
"Let me down!" Heather demanded and Leshawna smirked.
"As you wish your majesty." Leshawna mocked as she tossed Heather off of the cliff and safely into the safe circle. Heather came up from the water, spitting out water and glared up at Leshawna.
"You'll pay for this!" Heather shouted up at Leshawna, who didn't seem bothered by the threat.
"Hey I got you in the circle right?!" Leshawna hollered back and then nervously braced herself, "Let's just hope I can make it to."
Leshawna then jumped off and landed near Heather in the circle and Heather was glaring at her as they were both in the safe zone, away from the sharks.
Confessional:
"I wish she landed with the sharks. On the other hand, the sharks probably wouldn't be able to eat her whole." Heather irritatedly wringed out her hair as she sneered at the camera.
End Confessional:
"I thought this was going to be a beauty contest." Lindsay whined to Chris who just shook his head.
"Nope. Now jump or be a chicken." Chris said and Lindsay looked between the chicken hat and the cliff and grabbed the chicken hat and put it on.
"Sorry! It's too scary!" Lindsay apologized as she proceeded to walk down the mountain.
"Beth, Gwen, Owen. You're the last three up and you need all of you to jump to get that advantage." Chris snapped his fingers at them and Beth sweated nervously as she looked at the edge of the cliff and Gwen just sighed as she went and just walked off the cliff and landed safely in the water. Owen's eyes widened in fear as well as he rubbed his arm nervously.
"Hehe… is it getting hot out or is it just me?" Owen said as he began to sweat a lot from his nerves and Beth looked down at the boat down below at their teammates and gulped.
"No pressure. And by that I mean a ton of pressure." Chris laughed as the two Gophers left got more nervous as Owen started backing up from the cliff after adjusting his arm floaties.
"I'm going to die now. I'm going to freaking die now." Owen said as he turned around towards the cliff.
Confessional:
"I look up at the guy and think there's now way he's gonna make it." Gwen states darkly with a grim look on her face.
Confessional 2:
"Dude if he makes it, it'll be so awesome!" Geoff says in excitement with a grin on his face.
End Confessional:
"You got this Owen!" Beth cheered on from the sidelines as she stood next to Chris and Owen took one more deep breath before he broke out into a run as he jumped off the cliff.
"Holy shit!" Owen shouted out as he proceeded to scream as he fell into the water and caused a massive wave of water. The Killer Bass on the beach all got soaked, the sharks all got flung into the trees and the boat with the Screaming Gophers on board was now stranded on the beach.
"Woo hoo! I did it!" Owen cheered out happily as the other Gophers yelled their applause and then Beth looked down at the water below and noticed a swimsuit pop up next to Owen and she gagged as Owen proceeded to grab the swimsuit and put it back on before he got out of the water, which all the girls were thankful for.
"I got this. I got this." Beth said as she lisped slightly and gulped in fear as Chris yawned.
"Get on with it already." Chris said, clearly bored at waiting for her to go and Beth nodded as she nervously walked over to the cliff and shuddered as she went to jump, but held herself back. She then went to take a step back but lost her balance and fell forward over the cliff and fell into the water, where there were no sharks to worry about as they were still stuck in trees.
"And the Gophers get the advantage with one more jumper than the Bass!" Chris announced and the Bass gave slight glares at DJ and Courtney and DJ at least looked ashamed while Courtney didn't look put off at all.
After a few minutes, Chris had made his way down to the beach as Chef dragged over some carts and left them by the Gophers as Chris walked over to a bunch of crates, of course unlabeled.
"Campers, the Screaming Gophers won part one of today's challenge. So they get some carts to help with the crates. Bass, you don't get anything. So get going already." Chris said with a smile and the Bass scrambled for the crates as the Gophers had Owen easily pick up and put some crates on each cart and they went off as the Bass started carrying, dragging or pushing the crates.
"This sucks." Duncan deadpanned as he pushed a crate alongside Courtney who just scoffed.
"Stop complaining and just do it." Courtney ordered and Duncan raised an eyebrow.
"Since when were you in charge?" Duncan challenged and Courtney looked offended.
"Because I'm a CIT. So I have more experience than all of you." Courtney bragged and Geoff faked a cough to cover up a laugh and Courtney glared at him as they kept going.
"There's no need for fighting. I assure you if we all just calm, our auras will mesh better and not cause chaos." Dawn tried to mediate as she struggled with a crate with Cody, who was also struggling.
"CIT? Does that stand for chicken in training?" Eva taunted as she is seen holding two crates with ease, completely ignoring what Dawn said, who sighed in response at this.
"DO NOT CALL ME THAT!" Courtney roared in anger as she stopped in her tracks to yell and Eva just rolled her eyes and ignored her anger.
"Some team." Cody muttered to himself as he kept pushing the crate alongside Dawn as Tyler is seen tripping as he carries one crate.
Confessional:
"Why did I have to get put on a team of losers? I'm a CIT and I should get the better team." Courtney arrogantly stated with a scowl on her face.
End Confessional:
Meanwhile, the Gophers are seen easily using the carts to carry their crates down the beach. They didn't seem to be arguing at all.
"One hundred bottles of milk on the wall, one hundred bottles of milk. Take one down, pass it around, ninety nine bottles of milk on the wall." Some of the team started singing to pass the time, most notably Trent, Owen and Lindsay.
Ezekiel just tilted his head in confusion at the song as he pulled one of the carts with Beth.
"What's this song, eh?" Ezekiel asked quietly as to not interrupt the song.
"Oh! It's just a random little song for passing the time, I guess." Beth responded and Ezekiel blinked as he nodded, still slightly confused.
Confessional:
"Why do they need one hundred bottles of milk, eh? That's a lot to drink." Ezekiel questioned as he scratched his head through his toque.
End Confessional:
The Gophers keep singing as Noah is seen pulling his cart with Justin's help as he glances at Heather, who he sees keeps whispering to Lindsay as they keep pulling the cart.
"What is she planning?" Noah wondered quietly aloud as he saw Lindsay brighten up at something Heather says and Justin shakes his head.
"Maybe an alliance? Those happen often in these shows." Justin mentions and Noah raises an eyebrow at not only Justin speaking up, but also for the information.
"Hmm. Didn't think anyone would try starting one on day one." Noah says in response and Justin shrugs slightly as they keep pulling the cart.
Confessional:
"Yay! I'm in an alliance to go to the finale with Helen!" Lindsay cheered happily as she confirmed Noah and Justin's thoughts on the matter and missaid Heather's name.
Confessional 2:
"Hmm if Heather is making an alliance with Lindsay, then she wants people who listen to her no matter what. So I'd presume she'd also go after Beth and Ezekiel next, because god knows she won't try to work with Leshawna. A three or four vote block would be hard to get past without my own. Hmm." Noah said as he thought out loud and wondered what to do about the situation.
End Confessional:
"Are we there yet?" Tyler asked as he sweated as they kept walking along the beach, whereas Eva did not look exhausted at all.
"It feels like we've barely gotten anywhere." Bridgette added as she shook her head in the heat of the sun.
"Wimps. If you're all gonna complain, then I'll just carry them all!" Eva said proudly as she threw her crates down and they shattered and the team cast glances at Eva as Harold approached the crates and moved aside the broken wood to find inside some tools and planks.
"McLean said nothing about not opening them and just carrying what's inside." Duncan brought up and Eva grinned maniacally as everyone stopped pushing or carrying the crates and quickly opened them up to find more planks, tools, a pool liner and a water heater amongst other pool related things.
"Wait, a heater and the shape of the liner suggests we are making a hot tub." Harold brought up and Duncan rubbed his hands together in glee.
"Oh I'm down for a hot tub." Duncan said excitedly as Cody rubbed his left shoulder.
"I'm not really one for heat, but if it's for the challenge." Cody commented and Duncan raised an eyebrow at this but didn't question it as the team gathered their supplies and began to carry them.
Confessional:
"Ok so his name is Cody and he has an aversion to heat? Why does he remind me of someone?" Duncan wondered to himself out loud but then shrugged, "Eh, it's probably nothing."
End Confessional:
Meanwhile, the Gophers were still singing their song as they pulled the carts, save Gwen, Noah, Justin and Heather. After another minute of singing, Trent stopped singing.
"Guys look!" Trent pointed out and the team turned to see the cabins and cheered as they began to pull the carts to their cabin.
The camera then cuts to show the Gophers trying to open the crates without their hands, some using teeth and some not even trying.
"Remember campers, you can't open the crates with your hands." Chris informed and then walked over to a camera, "I made that up just for my own entertainment. These kids will do anything."
"Oh I got it!" Izzy called out as her teeth pulled on a rope on the crate and the crate came down and then winced, "Ow rope burn!"
"A water heater?" Noah said in confusion as he picked up what was in Izzy's crate and the other crates started to be opened at this point as well and out came some of the same objects as in the Bass's crates.
"Wait, are we making a…" Heather began to ask but then Chris interrupted.
"Campers! You have until sunset to build the best hot tub you can with what is in the crates. Good luck!" Chris announced and the Gophers started organizing their piles as the Bass finally arrived with their parts in hand.
"Ok let's get building. Harold and Cody, you organize everything and then figure out how it needs built, DJ and Eva, you both do the heavy lifting and holding stuff up that needs your strength, Bridgette, you and Tyler will get the water we need and then once done plug in anything we need, Geoff and Duncan, you two are going to put it together via my instructions. Dawn and Katie, you two are useless so stay out of the way. Now go!" Courtney ordered and Eva just crossed her arms at her bossy tones.
Confessional:
"If we lose this challenge, Miss Chicken is gone." Eva huffed in clear annoyance on her face.
Confessional 2:
"Useless?!" Katie said with tears in her eyes and an angry look on her face.
End Confessional:
"And who put you in charge?" Duncan challenged with a glare and Courtney snorted.
"As if any of you know how to lead a team. Besides, I was a CIT." Courtney barked back and Duncan scowled but Dawn put a hand on his shoulder.
"She'll be gone tonight. Don't do anything drastic please." Dawn said quietly so Courtney couldn't hear and Duncan shrugged in response as he didn't bark back at Courtney and instead just watched as Cody and Harold began organizing.
The Gophers meanwhile had split up the work for more efficiency and they had finished organizing and were now setting up to begin working.
A short montage is shown as the teams build their hot tubs. Harold is seen talking to Cody about how to best build it, but he is then kicked by Courtney who completely disregards their plans and decides to do it her way. Noah is seen reading a manual as he tells Justin and Owen where some planks went, but then Izzy jumped down onto Noah and scared him and sent him onto the grass face first. Next, DJ and Eva are seen trying to hold up some pieces of wood as Geoff and Duncan went to hammer them in, but Courtney takes the hammer from them and does it herself, much to the visible annoyance of everyone else. Katie tries to speak up about the hot tub, but a glare from Courtney shuts her down and Katie can't do anything as Dawn pat her on the shoulder. Gwen is then seen helping Trent and Leshawna put up some pieces of the hot tub as Lindsay and Heather spread out the liner. Ezekiel is also seen talking to Beth as she explains what a hot tub is while they fetch some water. The montage ends as Bridgette and Tyler go back to grab some more water with buckets.
"Courtney is kind of a slave driver." Tyler comments in exhaustion as Bridgette scoops up some water in the buckets.
"She won't even let Katie or Dawn help. I wish she wasn't acting like this." Bridgette commented and Tyler nodded as he went to grab one of the buckets but tripped and got his head inside the bucket and it was stuck on the top of his head.
"Ow!" Tyler said after he tried to pull the bucket off but couldn't.
"Maybe we should go see Chef or Chris about this." Bridgette said as she left the buckets of water and began to walk Tyler to find Chris and Chef. Once they got near the cabins, Courtney noticed them and stomped over to them.
"What are you doing?! Where is our water?" Courtney demanded to know.
"Tyler got his head stuck and I was going to bring him to Chris or Chef to get it unstuck." Bridgette responded as suddenly Chris's voice came over the loudspeakers.
"One hour left! Also, if you have any injuries at all, Chef Hatchet is also our acting camp nurse." Chris announced and Bridgette nodded and began to try walking with Tyler but Courtney pushed her to the ground and grabbed onto the bucket on Tyler's head and began to pull. Tyler winced in pain as she yanked it off but not without cutting into Tyler's head, making him yell in pain as some blood trickled down his forehead.
"Ok I'm gonna beat her up now." Duncan said but stopped as he saw Bridgette slap Courtney in the face and Courtney stared at her blankly in shock. The tension in the air was palpable as Eva cackled at Courtney getting slapped. Courtney's eyes then narrowed as she silently stormed off and Bridgette ignored her as she kept helping Tyler to find Chef.
Confessional:
"Bossy girl got what she deserved." Leshawna crossed her arms with a smirk.
Confessional 2:
"Day one and our team already all hates Courtney." Katie comments as she shakes her head in exasperation.
Confessional 3:
"If we lose, I think we'll be glad Courtney is gone." Cody commented with some irritation on his face.
End Confessional:
The camera then cuts to show Heather and Lindsay walking up to Leshawna as she is drinking some water.
"Leshawna I'm sorry for what I said earlier. I was just emotional and shouldn't have insulted you. Also I think you look great in those earrings." Heather apologized and Leshawana raised an eyebrow.
"Honest? Thanks girl." Leshawna thanked and Heather nodded before walking away as Lindsay followed her.
"I hope you and Leshawna get along." Lindsay smiled but Heather scoffed quietly so Leshawna couldn't hear.
"As if. You need to keep your friends close and enemies closer." Heather explained and Lindsay blinked.
"I'm your friend, right?" Lindsay asked and Heather put a hand on her shoulder.
"Of course." Heather gave a false smile, unknowing that Noah was listening nearby as he was fixing up some small things on the hot tub.
Confessional:
"She really does think she'll just control the team." Noah rolled his eyes at how Heather was acting.
End Confessional:
"Time is up campers. Time for me to judge your hot tubs." Chris walked up to the campers as they stood in front of their hot tubs, which had tarps over them to cover them now. Courtney especially looked very confident in their final product.
"Gophers are first. Unveil the hot tub." Chris snapped his fingers and Trent and Gwen both went and grabbed the tarp and dragged it off to reveal a hot tub that was well put together, had the jets working and blowing some bubbles in it and didn't seem to be off in any way.
"Good job here Gophers," Chris commented as he put his hand into the hot tub and shrugged, "Water could be hotter, but overall good."
"At least they worked as a team." Katie said under her breath as Dawn grabbed her hand to comfort her and Katie gave a small smile back as DJ and Eva yanked the tarp off to reveal a poorly put together hot tub with duct tape keeping some of the water from leaking out. Courtney's eye twitched as a seagull landed and the hot tub completely collapsed.
"Oh no, our hot tub broke." Duncan deadpanned as Courtney glared at him.
"Well considering only one hot tub is left, the Gophers win!" Chris announced and the Gophers cheered as Courtney scowled at her team.
"Bass, go get dinner and then I'll meet you at the campfire ceremony to vote someone off." Chris said before he walked off as Leshawna started dancing.
"Go Gophers. Go Gophers." Lindsay cheered as the Bass looked on in envy as they went off to the dining hall to eat while Izzy jumped up onto the roof of their cabin and started spinning and cheering about winning
Confessional:
"I put in the most work on that. It broke because Katie and Dawn didn't do anything." Courtney blamed in her arrogance and not realizing her own mistakes.
End Confessional:
"So… who are we voting off?" Courtney asked as she sat down at the table and Duncan threw his hands up in exasperation.
"Gee I wonder who. It's like someone who didn't jump, was bossy and kept pushing people around is on our team." Duncan said with an evil grin on his face at Courtney.
"It's not like I'm the only one who didn't do anything! Tyler got injured. He should go because he is useless." Courtney retorted and Eva scoffed.
"An injury you caused miss Chicken." Eva responded and Courtney glared as Bridgette shook her head at Courtney's behavior.
"I may not have jumped, but I did try to help in building." DJ stated as well and Courtney scoffed as she stood up.
"You're all useless. If you're smart, you'll vote off Tyler, DJ or Katie, the three most useless ones here." Courtney proceeded to walk off, confident she had convinced some of them at least.
"So… we're all voting her off right?" Harold asked to clarify and the table responded in affirmation and Cody gave a small smile at this but winced as his eyes gazed over Duncan, which Duncan noticed.
Confessional:
"Ok what is that nerd's problem with me? Wimp seems scared of me. Which don't get me wrong, is a compliment, but dude is a walking scaredy cat." Duncan insulted as he pulled out a pocket knife and started carving into the wall for fun.

The camera then cuts to the Bass all sitting around the campfire in the dark as Chris stood at the podium with a tray of ten marshmallows. Courtney held her head high as Chris began to speak.
"Killer Bass, welcome to the campfire ceremony. Tonight, you will be voting off one of your own. The person with the most votes will have to walk down the Dock of Shame, board the Boat of Losers, and leave Total Drama Island. Now, as I call your name, come up here and grab a marshmallow. The one left without a marshmallow is the one voted off." Chris explained as the team began to eye up the marshmallows.
"Now then, the following campers are safe; Dawn," Chris said and Dawn walked up with a small smile as she retrieved her marshmallow.
"Geoff," The party boy pumped his fist as he ran up and threw the marshmallow into his mouth.
"DJ," DJ smiled brightly at this and was glad to get a marshmallow despite his chicken hat.
"Eva," Eva gave a toothy and sharp grin as she walked up and crushed the marshmallow in her hand before eating it.
"Bridgette," The surfer girl perked up at this and went up to get her marshmallow.
"The residential nerds, Harold and Cody," Chris announced together and Harold gave Cody a high five as Cody let out a sigh of relief as they got their marshmallows.
"Duncan," The delinquent walked up without a word and ate the marshmallow as he kept his eyes on Courtney, who began to look more nervous.
"And Katie." Chris finished off as Katie walked over to get her own marshmallow, leaving only one marshmallow left for Tyler or Courtney. Tyler gulped slightly as he rubbed the side of his head under wear the bandage for the bucket injury was wrapped around his head. Courtney meanwhile took a deep breath and held her head up.
"Courtney and Tyler. This is the final marshmallow of the night. Tyler, you're here for the injury you got earlier maybe hurting your team later. Courtney you are here for being a chicken, calling teammates worthless, being bossy and being the reason Tyler got hurt." Chris explained and Courtney snorted.
"Maybe he shouldn't have gotten his head stuck in the bucket." Courtney said dismissively and Eva growled at this but held herself back.
"And the final marshmallow of the night goes to…" Chris paused for dramatic flare and to increase tension as Tyler and Courtney looked at the marshmallow nervously.

"Tyler, you're safe dude. Courtney, you're officially our first loser." Chris said and Tyler let out a sigh of relief as he went to get his marshmallow and stood next to his team as Courtney exploded.
"WHAT?! I am a CIT! I am more valuable than any of you! You are all useless and do not deserve to even be on this show!" Courtney yelled in anger and Duncan cracked his knuckles.
"Hey Eva, do you want the first punch or can I?" Duncan asked and Chris held up a hand.
"Nope, don't need a lawsuit here. So no punching teeth out today." Chris stopped them and Duncan deflated slightly.
Confessional:
"The one time I'd be okay with fighting." Bridgette crossed her arms with a frown.
Confessional 2:
"I wasn't gonna punch out her teeth. Just maybe break her nose and fingers." Eva said with a mocking tone.
End Confessional:
"You can't do this to me! I'm a CIT!" Courtney yelled in anger as Chef and Chris grabbed her by the arms and began to drag her to the docks as she flailed wildly to be let go. Chris nodded at Chef as they tossed her onto the back of the boat the campers had been on earlier after the cliff challenge.
"You can't do this to me! I'll sue!" Courtney said in a threat and Duncan just mockingly wiped his tears as he lightly punched Geoff in the shoulder as he chuckled at Duncan's antics as the boat began to drive off with Chef as the captain.
"We are not losing next time, hear me? Now that the problem on our team is gone, we aren't losing next time." Eva said in a warning and the team nodded as they began to walk back to their cabin as the camera then focused on Chris on the docks, with Courtney yelling faintly in the background.
"A yelling filled ending for our first episode. Who will win next time? Will Courtney actually sue? Will Duncan break any laws on this show? Find out next time, here on Total Drama Island!' Chris said and smiled brightly at the camera as the camera cut away to show the Gophers celebrating in their hot tub and talking with smiles on their faces as the Bass walked by to go to their cabins and Dawn stopped in front of a camera and faced it.
"All I can hope for on this show is for no one to be hurt… I just hope I can help." Dawn gave a sad smile to the camera before walking off as the episode ended with a shot of the Gophers still celebrating their victory in contrast to the last words said by Dawn.
AN: Yep so Courtney is gone first. I have my reasons for this, but what I'll say right now is that Courtney fit the least in with the Bass for my plans for them this season, so I took this path with her. Don't worry, I do like Courtney and have plans for her in the future. Just not right now. So she is gone. Beyond the elimination, something else I wanna bring up is Heather's alliance. I chose to have her begin it in this episode rather than the next episode because I don't think she would wait until after their potential first elimination and she would rather have someone on her side immediately, like Lindsay. Anyways, I wanna say more but I don't want to spoil stuff so I'll end here. I hope you all have a good day.
